In this episode, we discuss several important features of the messages to the seven churches of Revelation. We find that each church receives a partial vision of Christ, tailored to their circumstances. While this speaks of God's willingness to meet people where they are, it also shows that no church has the complete picture of Jesus. At the same time, the church is priviledged to be the light bearer for the world around it.
Hi, we are Josh & Gily, and in this first episode we go over the first chapter of Revelation, and discover that, contrary to populary belief, in which the book of Revelation is a succession of cryptic, scary visions about the end of time, the author wants us to understand that it is, first and foremost, a revelation of Jesus Christ.
