A podcast where two comedians, Robyn Perkins & Lucy Frederick, plan an ”unconventional” wedding…not to each other. Lucy Frederick got married in 2021, Robyn Perkins is to be married in 2023. The two friends are tackling the wedding planning process, month by month, to check progress but also discuss unconventional (and under-discussed) elements of wedding planning.
LIVE FROM THE EDINBURGH FRINGE!
We are nearing the day, and Robyn is so flustered with admin, she lost the files for 1 month to go...but don't worry, we also recorded 2 weeks to go! In this episode we discuss last minute planning, we come to terms with heartbreaking news and hear LIVE audience advice, all while Lucy does Robyn's final hair trial. THE WEDDING IS SO CLOSE NOW!

With only 2 months to the wedding, Lucy and Robyn have a major catch-up, complete with a bit of sass...mostly from Lucy. Also, be prepared to compare animals to wheels of cheese for sizing purposes.

It happened! Robyn's Hen-Do. If you want to know how to plan a hen do, listen up. Robyn and Lucy relive the day from surprises to scavenger hunts to sipping prosecco in a 90's hummer limo. Also important: if by chance you are in the wedding planning process for your own wedding and genuinely looking for advice, we have a review of where Robyn should be.

With only 4 months ago, Lucy and Robyn focus mainly on Hen-Dos: tradition, planning and what may or may not be coming up in Robyn's Hen-Do that may or may not happen. Also, shout out to Lucas Jefcoate who did some fantastic googling in order to verify Robyn "research" is, in fact, legit.

After coming back from Australia, Robyn & Lucy have a lot to catch up on...which is why it has taken them so long to edit it. They cover schedule, cuts, hair, make-up, flowers and of course LASER TAG. Also note: there are several moments of singing and dancing in this episode. And Lucas googling stuff that Lucy and Robyn don't know (including the life span of a fruit fly...which is relevant).
With Robyn out of the country, Lucy is joined in the studio by Caitlin as a worthy stand in. As it turns out, Caitlin has a Masters in Event Management so it may be that the wrong person has been put in charge of planning this wedding... Topics discussed include suit shopping, confirming your vendors and as ever, the always controversial laser tag debate resurfaces. With special guest Robyn Perkins joining via the magic of the inte...
And all of the sudden it is February. Lucy and Robyn recount their photo shoot, re-recount table settings and devise a new name for a gender-neutral stag/hen do (which is better than stag/hen). And of course, they continue the debate of: to laser tag or not to laser tag.

It's JANUARY and Robyn & Lucy are in a new place! It also means Robyn is getting married this year. This episode, the wedding starts to become real, so Lucy needs to keep Robyn grounded in reality as she tries to suggest laser tag way too close to the ceremony. Also in the episode, we discover Lucy's "research" skills as they discuss the historical side of marriage.
ALSO: We are sorry that there are computer noises towards the end...
That's right, we did a bonus episode! We got our partners in to talk about wedding planning. There is singing (badly). And most importantly, Robyn got Lucy into a holiday JUMPSUIT.

In a more serious episode, Lucy and Robyn chat about wedding rejections as Robyn is finalising the accommodation plan for her festival wedding. They also cover how much food Robyn took home from Lucy's wedding, which may have been a BIT uncouth...
