(00:00):
One thing I find very interesting about themessage at Akita is that Our Lady came with
a purpose and she was straightforward. She didn'thave it go very long. And that's very similar
to the Fatima. This is what's happening, thisis what's happening, this is what's happening.
Simple, straightforward, to a point and to callthis call to conversion and again, calling
(00:21):
man back to the rosary. The indifference, thelack of love of those who are called to be
good today. or they're just being mediocre.Being indifferent to our Lord Jesus Christ,
that is a greater pain than the evil of theevil doers. The third message in October 13th,
1973, Our Lady says, my dear daughter, listenwell to what I have to say to you. You will
(00:45):
inform your superior. As I told you, if mankinddo not repent, the Father, God the Father,
will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment. Welcome to Salve Maria,
the podcast of the Heralds of the Gospel.
(01:09):
Sallāla Mārīya, Fr. Arthur. Sallāla Mārīya.Sallāla Mārīya, Fr. Justin. Sallāla Mārīya.
And so, I don't know, Father, when we were preparingthe program and everything else, we were all
amazed at these apparitions that go in the sameline of Fātiṃha, because what Our Lady asked
in Akita seems to be a kind of continuation, and yet all the details of the apparitions
(01:30):
are very mysterious and very unknown, correct?Absolutely. It's kind of a Fātiṃha of the East.
Fatima is in Europe, in Portugal, and he wasin Japan on the far east of the world. And
Our Lady comes in 73, and then several yearslater also, and she's going to remind us of
(01:54):
Fatima in a different way, speaking to anotherperson who is also very, very much similar
to the three children, even though she... wasa nun, she was a sister already of certain
age, but her spirit was very young. And as Jacintaand Francisco, she suffered a lot. So it's
(02:16):
a kind of a repetition of Fatima. And this iswhat the mystery is, why, why this? Well, sure,
this will captivate the people who are goingto listen, because there are also very timely
parts of this message that can... continuallybe applied not only right now, but probably,
(02:37):
let's see, in the future. I think also what'sinteresting with the person of Sister Agnes
is that she was brought by God's grace intoCatholicism. She was a pagan. And then immediately
all of these trials and tribulations happento where she loses her hearing, what have you.
And then Our Lady comes to her. And this iswhy it's so fascinating. She's older, but she
(03:01):
has that childlike confidence. It's very similarto the children. But going forward, the faith
that she has in God, that everything will followthat path is fascinating and is really well
worth reading. We would like maybe to situateour audience because Brother Justin was talking
(03:27):
about the health issues that Sister Agnes Sasagawahad from the very beginning. And isn't that
kind of suffering that sets a person apart?Absolutely. She was born in 1930. When she
was 19, she has a first health problem thatshe has appendicitis operation that goes wrong
(03:51):
and she stays paralyzed. And then, you know, all the problems start, then she gets, she
get death. And finally, Mary appears to herin 1973. So she's deaf, paralyzed, and then
she cured for a while, then it came back. Itwas a constant mystery concerning health, right?
(04:15):
So she was 43 when our lady spoke to her andgave the first message. There are three messages
basically, no? Yes, we're going to read themstep by step. Yeah, they're very simple. I
mean, very simple, very short. But very similarto Fatima. But very succinct. Yeah, very much.
It's a purpose. One thing I find very interestingabout the message that Akita is that Our Lady
(04:36):
came with a purpose and she was straightforward. She didn't have it go very long. And that said,
it's very similar to Fatima. Very much. Thisis what's happening, this is what's happening,
this is what's happening. It wasn't somethingthat took years and months and decades. No,
it was simple, straightforward to a point andto call this call to conversion. And again,
(04:57):
calling man back to the Rosary. Absolutely, the Rosary prayer, Rosary sacrifice, and then
reminding that the sins of mankind are callinga chastisement. And in the second apparition,
Mary says that the chastisement is going tobe much worse than the great flood. But let's
not go there yet, because this is very interesting.how Our Lady of Fatima starts. She talks to
(05:23):
the little shepherds. She said, I am the Ladyof the Rosary. I'm going to ask you to pray
with me every time I come and let's pray together. And I would like to go to the first message
that happened in July the 6th, 1973. And ofcourse she mentions how sister is deaf, how
(05:44):
she cannot hear, how this is a trial and everythingelse. But I would like to point out the last
part. She says, every person in your communityis an irreplaceable daughter. But then she
goes, do you say well, the pair of the handmaidsof the Eucharist, which is particular for that
congregation? And then she says, then, let uspray together. So first, an invitation to pray
(06:09):
together. As Mary with the children, she waspraying the rosary. Same thing, or Bernadette.
But she took something out of their charism.their personal prayer, and she incorporates
it, showing that it was something that pleasedher and her son, and then turns it actual,
says, you're going to live this, truly, thisprayer. Because sometimes prayers tend to be
(06:33):
a little ethereal, but she brings it down toearth. She says, you're going to live this.
Is it the moment to maybe go over the prayer?Again, the prayer of the handmaids of Eucharist.
Maybe pray that prayer with with Sister Agnes. She asked her, did you pray the prayer? And
I think she says, yes or no, I don't remember. She said no. No, she asked, do you pray it
(06:56):
well? Like say, do you know the Hail Mary? Doyou know? I think you go back to that element
of a childlike confidence. It wasn't a proudperson who would get offended by such a thing.
It was something our lady wanted to pray withher. So this is what the prayer sounds like.
Most sacred heart of Jesus, truly present inthe Holy Eucharist, I consecrate my body and
(07:24):
soul to be entirely one with your heart, beingsacrificed at every instant on all the altars
of the world, and giving praise to the Father, pleading for the coming of His Kingdom.
(07:46):
Mary's pointing out to Jesus and where is Jesusin the Eucharist? So she's reminding us, look,
have devotion to the Eucharist, pray to Jesus. He's there. Two key elements. Sacrifice and
consecration. Exactly. But again, it's an incrediblyCatholic prayer. It's centered in the Eucharist.
And Our Lady is always the one who says, dowhat He tells you to do. Always pointing towards
(08:11):
Jesus. It's fantastic. Please receive this humbleoffering of myself. Please use me as you will
for the glory of the Father and salvation ofsouls. That's a consecration, huh? Please use
me. I belong to you. You can use me as you wishfor the glory of God. Most Holy Mother of God,
(08:35):
never let me be separated from your divine son. Please defend me and protect me as your special
child. Amen. Oh, wonderful. And you know, Imean, for the characteristics of a world, right,
you need to be strong. You need to be... courageous, you need to be a person who is physically imposing.
(08:59):
Also, you have to be successful, you have tohave money. None of those elements sister as
Sagawa had. It's very much the, I am a simplelittle person who is asking help and assistance,
and I'll give you whatever I have. In that sense, she represents the best of humanity. The best
(09:20):
of humanity is those who recognize that theyare nothing in front of God. That aspect of
candor. Exactly, candor. So they need Mary, not to, as it said at the end of the prayer,
not to save us and to help us, et cetera. Isthis because maybe God wants that kind of mankind
(09:41):
when it comes to a full restoration of the world, let's say? Exactly, exactly. I just find it,
it's a very beautiful approach. It's very mucha hand that's coming out to pull you up. And
this is a woman who suffered. So she understandsthe language of love, the language of the cross.
But that suffering doesn't put her away fromJesus and from Mary, etc., because she trusts.
(10:08):
Puts her into centre. And she's offering thatsuffering for the intentions that our Lady
had given to her. the intention of the conversionof the world. She's suffering for the world.
So maybe what a beautiful opening of this message.Maybe for those who are listening to us who
are sick or undergoing tremendous trials whenit comes to not feeling well or feeling useless,
(10:32):
maybe physically, how important this is to realizethat that's exactly the stage when God starts
talking to us. It's a sign of salvation. It'sa sign of beatitude. It's a sign that God loves
you. and he wants to transform your sufferingin a tremendous glory. So we need to suffer
in this world and it's good. I don't know ifit happened to you when we have some issues
(10:57):
maybe with, I don't know, earwax or things likethat, but you are deaf and you cannot hear
others. Oh, that's quite a trial. Of courseit is. You can communicate with exterior, you
can hear anyone, you don't know what's goingon. must be daunting. And she could hear our
(11:18):
lady, in fact she was left, and she could hearthe guardian angels. This is another similarity
with Fatima, because also the angel appearedto the children, and also the angel appeared
to Sister Agnes. So let's jump into the secondpart. The second part is even, there's a next
(11:38):
step, let's say, you know, because our ladyis looking for souls to now to console our
Lord, to console her. It says, my daughter,my novice, do you know, do you love the Lord?
My daughter, my novice, do you love the Lord?If you love the Lord, listen to what I have
to say to you. It is very important. You willconvey to your superior. And that's interesting
(12:01):
too now because our lady throughout the wholeconversation in the different stages where
she spoke with her, she emphasized that sheneeded to trust the superior. Yes, she needed
to talk to him. I don't know, it's also to hersuperior religious, religious superior. But
then it says, many in this world afflict theLord, men and women. I desire souls to console
(12:26):
him to soften the anger of the Heavenly Father. And then she continues, she says, I wish with
my son for souls who will repair by their sufferingand their poverty for the sinners and ingratitude
of others. So you see, that's another step.First was prayer, now is reparation. Exactly,
(12:48):
beautiful. So when we think about all the tragicthings going on in the world, in the church,
in the families, et cetera, we can... thinkabout this, that we are called to console our
Jesus Christ who is being offended, maybe asnever before. Oh yeah. Because the offenses
are today, you know. But I like the two pointshere. It's sinners and then ingrates. In a
(13:12):
sense, ingrates are worse than the sinners.Although the sinners are actively, you know,
punishing the heart of Jesus. The ingrates arerefusing His love. That sense, the indifference,
the lack of love of those who are called tobe good. today. Or they're just being mediocre.
Or, yeah, exactly, or being mediocre, beingindifferent to our Lord Jesus Christ, that
(13:35):
is a greater pain in the sacred heart of Jesusthan the evil of the evil doers. And that calls
us back to St. Margaret Mary a la Coq, and thosein that circle of apparitions about the question
of the ingratitude. And the question of goingback to your superiors, this brings us back
(13:56):
to France, and we're the Bach and Lourdes. Soit's interesting, they all interconnect. They
all bring us back into that flow. It shows theunity of the word of Mary, now the word of
Jesus and the word of Mary also. Talking aboutsuperiors, St. Margaret, Maria, St. Margaret
a la Coq, she goes and says,
(14:24):
But she's also trying to reach the authoritiesthrough very simple and humble people. Like
a wake-up calling, trying to save people thatare going astray, nations that are going in
the wrong direction, and even authorities inthe church that are losing their faith, that
(14:45):
Mary is coming and trying to save them. Thesecond message I just read was August 3, 1973.
And then October 13th, 1973, there comes thenext message. And this one is really amazing.
So stay with us until the end. Let's go to aninfomercial, as we call it, in which we have
(15:07):
some very interesting news when Father Ryanis going to invite us to pray the Divine Mercy
Chaplet. And very, very soon, we're also goingto have the Rosary daily, so let's listen a
little bit of that. And then we come back withthe third message. of the apparitions in Akika.
(15:27):

let's embark on this journey of faith, hope, and mercy. I'm looking forward to praying with
(17:03):
you every day at 3 p.m. May God's love and mercyshine upon you always. And until we meet again,
may Almighty God bless you, the Father and theSon and the Holy Spirit, amen. So welcome back
to this episode about the mystery of Akita.Father Arthur, Brother Justin, we were in the
(17:24):
first and second parts of the message. Firstwas prayer, then penance, consecration, offering
of sacrifices, and now there comes really avery poignant and serious part of the message.
I'm going to start reading and then of coursewe're going to have the comments by Father
here and also Brother Justin. But in the thirdmessage, in October 13th, 1973, Our Lady says,
(17:47):
My dear daughter, listen well to what I haveto say to you. you will inform your superior.
As I told you, if mankind do not repent andbetter themselves, the Father, God the Father,
will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge,
(18:10):
such as one will never have seen before. Interestingthat this aspect of the assignment, which was
also in Fatima,
It's left to the Father. It seems that it'sGod the Father who is the Creator, and He is
the one who is going to restore things. ThatHis Son died for this, and therefore, because
(18:37):
of the ingratitude of those for whom Jesus hasdied, because of that ingratitude for the Son,
the Father would just die.
to order the whole family, isn't it, Father?Because at the same time, I mean, we always
comment in the program, no, we have the absenceof the Father figure. And all of a sudden,
(18:58):
God the Father needs to come to put mankindin order because that's a role, the fatherly
role. It's interesting because in a certainsense for the great public, this message is
even clearer than Fatima. It's more easy tounderstand, it's more synthetic. Which is strange
that it was not more popular because this is73-74 and the third part of the secret was
(19:26):
revealed in near 2000. So way before, but itwasn't.
fire will fall from the sky and will wipe outa great part of humanity, the good as well
as the bad. This is an important part. There'sa doctrine that exists that people have in
(19:49):
the back of their heads. Because I'm good, Iwon't suffer. Kind of the rapture theology
that the Protestants have. And this is, it'snot based in the Bible. The good always suffers
with the bad. In the same way that the thatwith the good, the bad live the same way that
our Lord even said it. The rain comes down onthe good and the bad, the sun shines. The idea
(20:16):
that because I'm good, I'm going to be somehowexempt, where I can find a rabbit hole to sneak
into that I will get away from this. Find asuper basement. It's not going to happen. Some
little, I don't know, some bunker someplacein Montana. No, it's not going to exist. Unfortunately,
they give that impression, okay, if you pray,et cetera, nothing wrong is going to happen
(20:39):
to you. Well, there'll be a zone that's protected.Yeah, exactly. You're going to be under Mary's
mantle and you're going to be in a safe, transatlanticship going around the world. In a submarine.
Exactly, having your cocktail and your whiskey,et cetera. And the whole. When everything finishes,
we wake up to the reign of Mary. Exactly. Andthere we go. But I think that's far more prevalent
(21:04):
We're joking about it, but I think it's farmore prevalent, if not in the front part, but
in the back of you those minds. That's whatwe're looking for. I'll pray the rosary so
that me and my family will be safe. All of it.But it does. In the first consecutive, you
know, five consecutive Saturdays of the month. This is nice to purify some of our intentions,
because if we just do it so that we will notsuffer, and we forget the first part here of
(21:28):
Our Lady of Akita, no? She says, I want soulsthat are going to repair by their suffering.
by their prayer, by their poverty. We need todo these devotions out of complete love rather
than, okay, let me see if I can spare some-Kind of a mercantile style of spirituality
in which I give, you give, we're all happy andcome away with a good deal for everybody. This
(21:52):
is where the problem lies. Exactly, exactly.I pray the rosary so you know that that's okay.
I did my part, you do your part, we're good.So it's interesting that Mary wants to make
it very clear because- even clear once againthan Fatima, that even the good and the bad,
they're going to be, they're going to suffer, they're going to be chastised in a certain
way. But obviously not in the same way. It isobvious that those who are bad are going to
(22:17):
receive something very special. And those whoare good- Everyone gets what they deserve.
Of course, they deserve. So it is going to bewith justice. But she speaks about the fire
and- Yes, Father, let me re-quote here again.Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out
a great part of humanity, the good as well asthe bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful.
(22:40):
The survivors will find themselves so desolatethat they will envy the dead. The only arms
which will remain for you will be the rosaryand the sign left by my son. So each day she
says, recite the prayers of the Rosary. Withthe Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops
(23:02):
and the priests. The church. Yes. The new Noah'sArk. It's a spiritual ark. This idea that if
I get maybe a bunker, I can hide with my familyand stay there and the rest of the world, you
know, I'm not concerned. It's completely wrong.Yeah. Now there comes even, I mean, some very
(23:28):
sobering words here, Our Lady. She not onlyspeaks about the fire falling from sky, but
also now she says, the work of the devil willinfiltrate even into the church in such a way
that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate
(23:48):
me will be scorned and opposed by their confers. So devotion to our Lady, even among the clergy,
is going to be pointed out as something evil, wrong, outmoded, that should be abandoned.
This is already happening. It's happening today, but maybe it's going to happen in a greater
(24:09):
scale, but it's already happening. So what shesaid in 73, the facts
of the following years, they just confirm whatMary said. I mean, at the time in which we
are recording this program, for instance, shesays to go to the news, you know, or even now
(24:30):
that you listen, I'm sure that you will go tothe news again and you will find more developments
in this line. Right? Now she also warns churchesand altars will be sacked. The church will
be full of those who accept compromises. Thedevil will press any, sorry, many priests and
consecrated souls to leave the service of theLord. Well, I mean, if we want to just look
(24:55):
back on history, the seventies was an era ofmass apostasy, mass departures of both male
religious and female religious. And church beingsacked, the seventies were a horrible decade
for reno-rex. The amount of religious orderhave almost disappeared or really disappeared.
(25:19):
It's incredible. will be especially implacableagainst souls consecrated to God. The thought
of the loss of so many souls is the cause ofmy sad.
If sins increase in number and gravity, therewill be no longer pardon for them. She's already
(25:45):
warning, okay, those who are following the LordJesus Christ, get ready because you're going
to be persecuted. But that's not the end, butyou're going to be persecuted. The persecution
in that sense is a sign of fidelity. He knowsyou're on the right road. That's right. But
we also need to be careful, our lady says here,if scenes increase in number and gravity I
(26:11):
mean, God wants to forgive, it's true, but whatwhen mankind or people just close themselves
to that forgiveness, then if you close yourself,he says, there will be no longer pardon for
them. With courage, speak to your superior. He will know how to encourage each one of you
(26:33):
to pray and to accomplish works of reparation. So that's more for there. That insistence of
our ladies. saying that to speak to the Superior,I think it means that she wants this message
to be known, because it is a way of making itknown, not only by the Superior, but by the
whole world. Immediately she actually mentionsthe Superior Father. She says, it is Bishop
(26:57):
Ito who directs your community, and this isthe local bishop at the time. You have still
something to ask today. is the last time thatI will speak to you in living voice. From now
on, you will obey the one sent to you and yoursuperior." So that's her God and angel, that
will be also sent to her. And your superior, she says. Pray very much the prayers of her
(27:24):
Rosary. I alone am able still to save you fromthe calamities which will come. It means that
our lady, sometimes she speaks directly to theperson. to the seer, et cetera. And she speaks
as it was a human person, speaking to a humanperson on earth. But sometimes she will continue
(27:46):
speaking, but in another way. So I will continuespeaking to you, but not directly as I'm doing
now, but through other ways to sign, throughinternal feelings that the person receives,
et cetera, from God. I think the last line hereis really important. those who place their
confidence in me will be saved. And this isreally important because confidence isn't just
(28:11):
a warm feeling or a passing sentiment. It'ssomething strong. It's trust, deep trust in
God. That is a little bit the equivalent ofat the end my immaculate heart will triumph
on Fatima. Don't I think? Thank you, Father. The equivalent is no, okay, but if you trust,
you will be saved. So you will triumph, everythingwill go well. Now, she continued praying. She
(28:37):
was practically isolated within her religiouscommunity. People who visited her, I think,
in 2019, found her completely set aside. Theyounger sisters that were there, apparently
they didn't want to speak about the message, they didn't want to say anything. She was completely
left. There was no silence on her, on her message,
(29:01):
A hundred times, huh? And tested. This is notjust hearsay. It was tested. So it's really
important because it could be, well, peoplehave images that do all kinds of crazy things.
But this one here cried and bled. And both ofthem were human and were witnessed by countless
souls. So blood and tears. Apparently that statue, miraculous statue of Akita, I think shed tears
(29:28):
and walked. in various forms, 101 times. Butwith witnesses. With witnesses, woof. So, but
I would like to say this something further becauseI think it's important that when she died,
she died this year, 2024. And look at the promiseour lady made. I alone am still able to save
(29:51):
you from the calamities which approach. So ifwe are going to count through that, she passed.
She died on August 15, the assumption of Mary. There was a final apparition, wasn't there?
There was a final apparition in 2019, correct. And the lines are very, very short because
(30:16):
the guardian angel, whose voice she knew verywell, told her to put on ashes and pray a penitential
rosary every day. And there was a final message.that it was also pretty much dismissed. Nobody
wanted to hear. But I don't know, she basicallydeparted right now. So she was a spirit of
(30:44):
all of this. She was. But can we ask, can wewonder? And everything indicated that she's
saved. And the way that Mary spoke to her everytime, it was as speaking to somebody. who is
going to be saved, someone who's good, who isfaithful to our Lord. In other words, that's
also interesting. Again, talking about linksis the... the connection between another great
(31:11):
apostle of Mary, Maximilian Kolbe, because hewent to Japan. And it's through his apostolate
and his miraculous metals in Japan that thesecongregations started to bloom in Japan. So
it's like his work then gives this, which OurLady uses to do something else. Everything
(31:33):
has a repercussion. Beautiful. And when Kolbedies, he dies certain that he has a accomplish
his mission. And the mission was this one, tobring the face to Japan, to prepare the way,
the ground for another apparition of Mary. Buthe did not know. He did not know. Of course.
(31:53):
He did not know. He only learned that from eternity. So we can wrap up a little bit the message
of Akita, prayer, reparation for sins, the needof repentance, warning about division within
the church. and big just ice-mits. And praythe rosary, yeah? But lots of confidence, lots
(32:13):
of confidence, lots of trust, but the necessityof prayer of the rosary, again, assistance
on the rosary. Definitely, a very sovereignmessage. I like the one point where it's not
like she came and introduced a new prayer, shesaid rosary and the sign of the cross. It shows
(32:34):
the mercy of Mary that was not enough to appearin Fatima. She also wanted to appear on another
part of the world, far away in the Far East, and say the same thing, a reminder. It's so
important it has to be reminded. Father, anythingelse to wrap up the program with a call to
conversion for all of us that are listeningand participating here? I think we should understand
(33:00):
that... everything that Mary says, it comesfrom God. And if she is asking us to have this
confidence and to pray, this is what we needto do. And this is actually the intention of
this podcast, is to help you to understand whatGod wants and how much we need to pray, how
(33:20):
much we need to have confidence today. R. Pleaseleave your comments right there because those
are very, very important. And also if this programhelps to somehow, you know… inspire you to
investigate a little bit more about Akita, youwill be very, very happy. Let's finish by giving
you my blessing. The Lord be with you. And withyour spirit. And may Almighty God bless you,
(33:41):
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.Go in peace. Thanks be to God.
