>> Skylar (00:10):
Hello, weary traveler. I'm not sure what
strange magic must have brought you here, but you have
stepped into a realm of my creation. A,
ah, sprawling city filled with danger and
glory, and most importantly, lots of
gold. I call it Isan
Numis. Who am I, you might ask?
The name is Jarim, and I'm the patron
(00:32):
deity of gambling. Long story
short, this group of idiots, or as
you may call them, heroes, made a bet with me that
they had what it took to make a mass trove of gold,
but left some.
Of the key details blank.
So I filled them in myself. I sent
them to this pocket dimension into the city I
(00:53):
had created with brand new bodies they'd
have to attune to.
Can these fools pass my test, or.
Will they be trapped here forever? So experience my
world of trials and tribulations and
join alongside this posse of pitiful
people, or as I like to call them, the
criminals of Isan Numis.
(01:15):
Alrigh. Welcome to another episode, of Criminals of
Isaumis. We're back again
for another episode as. As I just said.
Were you not listening?
Are you listening now? Because we're jumping into another
episode. This is episode 10. We did it. We hit double digits with criminals of
violin Numis. How crazy is that? Our Dungeons and Dragons podcast. And
now you're here and you're listening, and that's great. I'm.
(01:37):
We're doing. We're doing the show. We're doing the show, man.
awesome. Welcome back, to another episode. Like I said, double digits. We
hit episode 10. let's just jump right into it. let's. Let's
get everybody introduced and then. And then let's just jump right into it because
I'm excited. I'm stoked to see what's
gonna happen here because I think something crazy might happen here. Who
knows? Let's see what happens. first of all, on my right,
(01:57):
Dave playing Maki.
>> Dave (02:01):
Playing Maki. Maki Mai the
Cancnu sorcerer, discovering his
powers ling out his dreams
inside of wanton
criminal behavior and violence.
>> Skylar (02:15):
O geeez, what a way to describe it.
Awesome. Next today we've got Quinnyn Feather
McGregor. AK Lil Sauce.
>> Quinn (02:23):
Yep. we're, on an adventure right now to, go see
Mc Griddle'Dad that's right. I'm sure this isnna turn out
exactly the way I expected it and want it to.
>> Skylar (02:32):
I don't know what that means, but we're gonna find out here shortly.
Next we got Jackson playing
Dad.
>> Cameron (02:39):
my name is Jack. I play Des. fun fact about Des
is he is actually a little bit scared of birds.
>> Skylar (02:45):
Oh.
That's ironic.
>> Quinn (02:47):
Wait a minute.
>> Skylar (02:49):
That's another thing that would, like, really throw feather for, like, a
loop because he doesn't know what y'all are
in the other worlds.
Awesome. Next to Jackson, we got
fatty lumpkins playing
keto. Yeah, I'm fatty.
I play keto. He's a fighter
turned echo knight. And, he's a
(03:12):
kobold. He's a kbold. Awesome. Little
scaly dude. That's right, Little lizard man. Awesome.
And then next to him, we've got Cameron playing
Roick.
>> Quinn (03:21):
Hi.
>> Skylar (03:22):
what's up? Hey, how's roick?
>> Dave (03:24):
He's chilling.
>> Skylar (03:25):
He's roric, AKA fizzle fingers, the
goblin.
>> Quinn (03:29):
Golin, who is the
fastest rising artist in the
whole island of Nubis.
>> Skylar (03:36):
Awesome.
>> Quinn (03:37):
He's the hottest goblin in town.
>> Skylar (03:39):
That's right. He is. Or he's about to be. That's for sure. He
was just before someone throws him into a volcano.
And with that, we're gonna jump into the next or
episode 10 of Criminals of isaumz.
(03:59):
All right, last we left off, you guys had or feather
McGregor kind of taking you guys to,
blank space, the secret sort of police
organization that he worked for. and he
went inside. He basically quit his job.
And as he was walking out, his boss said that his old
friend McGriddle, who he had
lost along the way, to, you
(04:22):
know, death, the thing that usually takes us
all. Eventually, his dad, mcgriddle's
dad, wanted to talk with. With McGregor.
And so McGregor kind of had a personal vendetta
to go out there and, find
his, old friend's dad and find out
what he wants. While he's doing that, the rest of you
(04:42):
went into an art studio and caused utter
chaos in a variety of different
ways, from shattered pottery to
horrible messes of paint.
And, you were sort of kicked out of there. But
also, the artist, who ran the
place, took, a lot of
delight and was very impressed by
(05:04):
fizzle finger'art specifically. And so
he told him to go to some temple
somewhere of the. I think it was the rising flame,
I believe. whether he follows through with that or not is up to
him, but we'll find out. But whatever the case, we're going toa cut over
to straight to, Feather McGregor,
Little Sauce, who's on a little vendetta, a little
(05:25):
trip to go see mcgriddle's m. Dad. Who wants to
see him, Finger.
Sorry. Not fizzle fingers. Feather McGregor. you
know, and this is the downside of
this trip that you want to make. You know, that getting
to McGriddle's dad, who lives in the
Atlantis Heights district is on the
(05:45):
other end of this
city. You know that the fastest way to
get there, for the most part, would be
to hop on to a boat that
transports people down the river that kind of
cuts right through the city and goes right into the ocean.
I think that's a river. I don't know, like the streams of water.
I don't remember that from school. Okay, I didn't think I'd ever need that
(06:07):
information, so don't criticize me. but whatever the
case, this river that runs through the city, you
could get from the corner of
Mediumville and row all the way down and
end up in the Atlantis Heights districts. But it's
going to take you a bit of time, probably an hour
just to get there. And then you're going to have to hustle
(06:28):
to get to the church that you are
going to be or, sorry, no, the burger place that you are going to be meeting up
with the rest of the gang, which is back in the medium bu district.
What's your plan?
>> Quinn (06:37):
I guess I'm just going to have to hustle. I don't know what he wants, but we're going
toa have to go.
>> Skylar (06:41):
All right, sounds good. You rush up to. I mean, you can
try.
>> Quinn (06:44):
I'm a little bit late. I'm a little bit
late'that's.
>> Skylar (06:47):
Fin. I mean, I guess, all things considered, those are.
>> Quinn (06:50):
The.
>> Skylar (06:51):
The two options are running north,
kind of hitting the top corner of the
river, taking a boat down, which
obviously that'll be pretty fast. Or you can try to
run through the central Stark
district, which is what kind of separates you
from the Atlantis Heights
district. if you wanted to try to do it
(07:13):
on foot, those are your two choices.
>> Quinn (07:16):
How long does to take on foot?
>> Skylar (07:19):
Probably about. It's
a guaranteed hour if you do it on foot. Ideally,
you could do it a little bit faster if you go by
boat, but you'll have to kind of backtrack a little bit if you
go by boat. Because you have to, like, basically go up
and then take the river down.
>> Quinn (07:36):
Let's just go on foot then. we'll just take the hour.
>> Skylar (07:38):
All right, sounds good. All right, so you run down the hour.
you spend an hour basically just hustling through the
streets, bobbing, weaving, kind of walking through
again. This is a massive city so cutting through an entire
district can take quite a long time. you do see you
a variety of people on these, sort of penny farthing
bikes. you see, you
(07:59):
see one automobile,
a steam powered automobile, which,
you know, signifies somebody very
wealthy is driving by. Because only the wealthy
can possibly afford these
incredibly highly technical,
contraptions. They're a fairly new fitt within
this city. whatever the case, you, see those things.
(08:21):
but whatever the case, you're focused. You're trying to get through
this area. So you get to the end of the, Atlantis Heights
district. You're not looking around or anything. You are beelining it.
You've taken this route before. You've been to Atlantis Heights before.
Obviously you know how to get there. it's not any kind of a problem.
You reach the bridge that goes over the river and into the
Atlantis Heights district. You cross that, and
(08:41):
sure enough, you see the Atlantis
Heights district. I can give a quick
description. I said Atlantis Heights
this entire time. I meant to say Gortham. Gosh
dang it.
Sorry.
The Gortham district Algh. I
will give a description, of the Gorthm district. So
nestled in the southern fringe of the city, the gorthm district
(09:03):
exudes a rugged charm and lively
maritime gateway to the city's bustling harbor
and stands as a testament to the industrious
spirit of its residence. Gortham district is
characterized by a labyrinthy, labyrinthine. How do you
say that?
>> Cameron (09:17):
Labyrinth?
>> Skylar (09:18):
Labyrinth. network of narrow streets lined with
warehouses, workshops and a bustling market. The
district hu with the sound of seafares unloading cargo,
merchants haggling over prices and the clanging
of hammers on anvils. It is a place where the scent
of saltw water mingles with a tang of freshly
caught fish. Immerrasing visitors in an authentic
(09:38):
maritime experience is very
similar to the Atlantis Heights district. Which
is why I got confused. The Atlantis Heights district is of
course, the, other kind of bordering
section of the city to the,
ocean that kind of sits on the
sort of south, east southwestern
(09:59):
corner of this city. Anyway, you cross the
bridge, you're in the district, you beine it, and you quickly
find, the house where
mcgriddle's father lives. Now, McGriddle's father
doesn't exactly live in a house per se. It is a house, but it
on the first floor, it is a shop. It's within what is known
as trinket Square. And the shop itself
(10:19):
is called Gideon's gizmos. And you can
see Gideon gizmos the words carved into a
polished wood sign that kind of hangs over the
door. You've been here a few times. you know, you
know it pretty well.
>> Quinn (10:31):
Just gonna. I want to go find his dad. I, you know, I don't get
a lot of time, so'll see what he wants. Okay.
>> Skylar (10:36):
You go into the shop, and as you walk inside, you
don't see Gideon at first. you see sort of
the little desk where he kind of runs transactions and
things from. You know, it's kind of the shop counter. And then behind it
you can see all sorts, of clockwork
related things. There's
dolls, puppets, pocket watches that kind
(10:57):
of just hang from the displays. You see
some mechanical jewelry other than watches. You
see little puzzle boxes. You see wind up toys. You
see music boxes, even small automated
pets that you can kind of wind up with a little, like, crank on the
side. all of this is just kind of scattered about on
shelves on little displays. It's a bit
(11:17):
messy in here, if we're being completely honest. but the
items themselves look like they are very well taken care of.
and sit, you know, really nicely wherever
amidst the mess that they sit. there's also a
variety of kind of just loose clockwork bits and pieces,
cogs and little whirring things,
handles and things along those lines that just kind of sit
scattered about that haven't been put into an
(11:40):
actual item yet. but you recognize
all of this because, you know, like I said, you've been here before.
this is your ex or dead best friend's
dad. You know, you knew what he did. You've probably been here and
talk to him and hung out and stuff. So anyway, you do hear
some fiddling going on from, around the
corner. There's kind of another side room where, you know, that Gideon
(12:00):
usually goes to actually work on his various
mechanical bits and bobbles.
>> Quinn (12:05):
Okay. And he said he's not there right now.
>> Skylar (12:07):
Well, you can hear him in the back.
>> Quinn (12:09):
Okay, yeah, we'll just head to the back. Knock on the door
at Gideon. It. It's
Featherather.
>> Skylar (12:16):
Is that you?
And sure enough, the man turns around. He's got
very, like, kind of crazy white hair. Looks like, like I
said, either Doc Brown or like, Rick from Rick and Morty.
You know, he's got kind of this crazy hair. He's got big old
goggles on, and a magnifying glass that kind of
comes off of. It's got, like, an arm that attaches to the
goggles and kind of comes down frontt. So when he turns to you, you see this
(12:38):
big giant eye reflected in the goggle and he
goes.
Father, it's been so
long. How are you, my boy?
>> Quinn (12:47):
I'm doing great. I was told you wanted to see me by u. Captain.
Chief. Chief. Captain.
>> Skylar (12:52):
Yes, yes, of course. I was talking to him the other
day. Oh, sorry. It's a bit of a mess in here.
And he kind of just starts to move around. He's kind of like picking things up and moving
things around to kind of like tidy up a little bit.
Oh yes, it's just been. It's been a heck of
a time, you know, trying to keep things clean and
just so much work to do. how have you
been?
>> Quinn (13:12):
I've been. Well, things are definitely changing.
>> Skylar (13:14):
Oh, how so?
>> Quinn (13:16):
It'it's a lot to explain. How have you
been?
>> Skylar (13:19):
Oh, well, I've, you know, it's been
busy. It's been busy for sure. I've had some very,
very special project I've been working on. and I think
I found some success. but I may need a
little bit of guidance, from somebody with
some police background. That's why I wanted to get a
hold of you.
>> Quinn (13:38):
What do you got?
>> Skylar (13:41):
And he kind of pauses for a moment and he turns
around,
He says o please take, take a seat.
And he points towards a just a, a bench
that's just sitting kind of in the back of the room.
>> Quinn (13:51):
All right, I'll go sit down.
>> Skylar (13:53):
And he takes a seat as well.
And he says out of curiositye.
Is it would you say. And maybe this is a bit of
a. Oh, how would you say this,
intellectual question, maybe
metaphorical whatnot.
Is a man attached
to the crimes of his
(14:14):
creation?
>> Quinn (14:17):
It's a little bit above my head.
>> Skylar (14:20):
Let's see, maybe if I phrase it differently, maybe it'll help
get the idea across here. So, let's say somebody makes
something, and then that thing, commits a
crime. does that make the one who created
it responsible for the crime?
>> Quinn (14:35):
Not necessarily. Not if you didn't ###intend
criticogr just tell me what's going on.
>> Skylar (14:39):
Well, it's a bit complicated.
Like I said, I've been working on a particularly special
project. U made something u something
good, I think, and u
well, maybe it had a little bit u, diverse results I wasn't
expecting. You know, maybe it's gotten
a little bit out of control. U, I'M not sure
(15:00):
exactly if I need to go to somebody
to get help or maybe just.
>> Quinn (15:06):
Just tell me what's going on. I gotta be somewhere in an hour.
>> Skylar (15:09):
O.
Look.
>> Quinn (15:13):
I just. I'm sorry. I've got. I've got.
I've got something really important going on. I just get to it
so I can help you.
I've always, In my mind, I'm sit.
>> Skylar (15:24):
I'm like.
>> Quinn (15:24):
I've always hated how his dad just rambles.
Ra. It's true. Doesn't get on with the
point.
>> Skylar (15:30):
U. Well, look, if
you've got somewhere to be, I don't want to keep you from that. It's
a bit too complicated for me to just kind of quickly
blurt out. It's gonna take a little bit more
time to discuss the really
fin details of this, situation. But I really,
truly think it's something that you, especially of all the
people in this entire city, will really appreciate. almost
(15:53):
as much as myself. I have appreciated it. But
again, if you've got something else going on,
just come back another time. I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm sure there
won't be any more problems.
>> Quinn (16:03):
Just tell you what's going on.
>> Skylar (16:04):
It's. Again, it's just too complicated's and
it's so amazing. I just feel like it's gonna take
more time than just a couple of moments in a chair sitting
across me. I can't explain.
>> Quinn (16:15):
Can, like, roll like
investigation or.
>> Skylar (16:19):
Well, what are you looking for?
>> Quinn (16:21):
Just he's obvious got it.
>> Skylar (16:23):
This.
>> Quinn (16:23):
He's made something, and this something has done something
bad. Okay. Kind of what I'm getting from this.
>> Skylar (16:29):
Sure.
>> Quinn (16:29):
I'm just looking around for maybe clues around what
he's created.
>> Skylar (16:34):
Okay.
Yeah.
>> Quinn (16:34):
That be investigation.
>> Skylar (16:35):
Yeah.
>> Quinn (16:37):
Not 20 holy serious. Yeah.
>> Skylar (16:40):
Holy cow. Okay. I tell you what. Ask
you. You get his attention. you get him
to kind of shut up for a second, you know,
and ask him. Ask him a question.
>> Quinn (16:52):
Gideon. Yes,
I. I've got a lot going
on, but I want to help you.
I'm. I owe it to your son.
>> Skylar (17:03):
Okay.
>> Quinn (17:04):
Tell me what's going on so I can help you.
>> Dave (17:09):
Okay.
>> Skylar (17:11):
All right. I'll say it this way. You
don't have to owe it to my son
anymore because I think
I might have found a way to bring him
back.
>> Quinn (17:25):
That's a horrible idea.
>> Skylar (17:27):
Okay, so you say that, which is
kind of why I brought you here.
There's very possible chance, I
already did it.
And there's a very possible chance that
as I mentioned before I got some results that I
was not expecting, but
(17:48):
it worked. And I think that's the important
takeaway here.
>> Quinn (17:53):
You never mess with the dead. What have you
done? What? Where's he at? What have you done? Let me sit.
>> Skylar (17:58):
That's. That's kind of where things get complicated. That's what I
wanted to talk to you about. Right u. He's, not here
right now.
>> Quinn (18:05):
Where is he?
>> Skylar (18:06):
I'm not sure, which is part of the
problem.
He has a bit of a
rambunctious spirit that I feel
like maybe he was missing before, which is
great. You know, maybe there was something that was a part of
him that needed to, you know, exist to complete
him. whatever the case, he's taken off,
(18:28):
and, you know, I
respect his independence. He's an adult.
>> Quinn (18:34):
He's dead.
>> Skylar (18:36):
Not anymore. Technically speaking.
I got his soul, and
I put.
>> Quinn (18:45):
It in something of my own
creation, which was.
>> Skylar (18:49):
Well, I mean, it was a puppet before, but now it's realud. Oh,
yeah.
>> Quinn (18:59):
Not the creepy puppets you used to play with. Or would you give
us to play with? They're creepy.
>> Skylar (19:04):
Were creepy.
>> Quinn (19:05):
Yes. They scared me.
>> Skylar (19:06):
That's why you screamed every time I woke you up holding
one over your head. When you stayed the night with
McGripple, when you guys had your sleepovers.
I thought it was fun. You were
scared.
>> Quinn (19:19):
I scared the whole time.
>> Skylar (19:20):
What? Why?
It's just a doll. It's wood.
It just.
It moves. Only when I.
>> Quinn (19:28):
It's inan.
>> Skylar (19:29):
The new doll. Griddle doll,
moves without.
>> Quinn (19:34):
Its anatomy is very, very
detailed.
>> Skylar (19:38):
I'take that as a complimence.
I'notself.
Every single part.
>> Quinn (19:47):
Was that why it was every.
It was so small and nevermin.
Anyways, I made them
fairly life size.
>> Skylar (20:00):
I made McGriddle'fairly life size.
What?
>> Quinn (20:04):
where'd he run off to? Where's he?
>> Skylar (20:07):
If I knew that, I wouldn't have had to call you here. I could have gotten
him and told him, hey, you know, you messed up. You
cause some trouble in the area, and, you know,
it's not cool, and I need you to bring the kids
back, and then this wa. Blow.
>> Quinn (20:20):
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Go back.
Go back.
>> Skylar (20:24):
All right? I would find him, and I would say, you
know, you messed up. You know, this will all
blow over, and that's fine. You just need to bring the kids back.
>> Quinn (20:32):
Oh, yah.
>> Cameron (20:33):
Stop.
>> Quinn (20:34):
Stop. Okay. What kids?
>> Skylar (20:36):
Oh, the kids. Oh, yeah. You didn't see the
missing posters outside?
>> Quinn (20:40):
what have you done?
>> Skylar (20:42):
Well, I didn't do it.
I.
Anything. I made a boy out,
of, wood and brought him to life with my
son'soul you definitely get the.
Idea that this guy has lost some of his
marbles. And he does definitely own marbles.
>> Quinn (20:58):
I. I should have definitely
been checking in on you more often.
>> Skylar (21:03):
Oh, it's okay. I know you're busy with blank space
and, you know, all that obvious
business.
>> Quinn (21:09):
Obviously not okay.
>> Skylar (21:11):
Oh, I've been fine. Like I said, knowing that my son
is okay and he's back, and, you know, it's just
been very. Really. It's not.
>> Quinn (21:19):
How do we know what s your son? And
that's something evil?
>> Skylar (21:23):
I like to think that as.
>> Quinn (21:26):
Where. How did you get his soul back?
>> Skylar (21:28):
Well, there was this book that I found, and it had
a ritual in it about how to bring back the souls of the
dead, but it just needed some sort of body to put it
into. So I. I followed the instructions, I got all the
necessary components, and I said the words,
and I did the weird little dance and the hand
motions, and bada bing, bada boom.
(21:48):
There was my son and soul in
the thing. And it was a little bit creepy at first, I
will admit, you know.
>> Quinn (21:55):
What did he say?
>> Skylar (21:56):
He said, hey, dad, and I
said, son, and then we had an
emotional hug, and it was a
beautiful thing. I'm tearing up a little bit just thinking about
it. and then, you know, we spent a few
days together. I made him pancakes.
He could not eat them. I learned a
lesson that day. And that's okay. I
(22:18):
didn't need to cook for him. Which, honestly,
great.
Again, double.
Like, he. He's just, like, so much easier to take
care of. Which, I mean, he's an adult, so.
>> Quinn (22:29):
Okay. And then what happened? You made him pancake?
>> Skylar (22:32):
Yes.
>> Quinn (22:33):
And he went out and.
>> Skylar (22:34):
Yes. You would play with the kids outside in
the area. and I thought, oh, that's a little strange. But, you
know, it'just it's like a
rebirth, you know, feather. It s. It's a. It's a rebirth.
His soul has been put into body. He's got a kind
of bring back the maturity of
the adulthood that he once, you know, lived in. I don't know what goes
on in the afterlife, you know, what he's been experiencing of till
(22:57):
now. Anyways. and then he, you
know, started not coming home, and I wasn't sure where he
was going. And I tried to ask him when he did come home. I'm like, where have you been?
And he didn't want to tell me. Said he's got a u.
secret hideout, which I thought, oh, you know kids.
Secret hideouts is whatever. and then that's when
the kids started going missing in the area. And I said. I
(23:18):
said, he came home. And I said, now I'm my
griddo. Why are kids in the area going missing?
What do you know about this? And he.
>> Quinn (23:25):
Nothing.
>> Skylar (23:25):
Dead. Leave me alone. And I was like, okay, I respect
your independence. and then. And then he kind of
disappeared altogether. And kids have continued
to disappear. and people in the
neighborhood are getting upset, and that's not good for
business and.
>> Quinn (23:41):
Yeah, where was the last seen?
U.
>> Skylar (23:44):
I think I heard someone say they saw him in the
square talking to one of the
children. I think he disguised
himself. Maybe. U. you know, he does
look like a puppet. To be fair, I, you know, when
I said that, I marrowed him math to, McGriddle. That's not
entirely true. I added some fun paint and some other
things to kind of just like. I didn't think it would work the first time. I
(24:06):
thought I'd just get a goofy puppet. So I just, you know, I had some
fun with it, and then it worked the first time, and I. Call me
surprised.
>> Quinn (24:14):
you've put. You put me in a tough spot.
>> Skylar (24:17):
Oh, I'm sure it's fine. You were his best friend, and I'm sure
he'd be excited to see you. And you can bring him home
and get the kids back, and then you'd be the hero and, you
know, blame space would be really impressed. You'd probably get
promoted.
>> Quinn (24:31):
Yeah. this is. This is not good.
Well, we're gonna have to.
>> Skylar (24:35):
I don't think it's that bad.
>> Quinn (24:38):
He's hurting your children.
>> Skylar (24:40):
Well, we don't know he's hurting.
>> Quinn (24:42):
He's still in children.
>> Skylar (24:44):
That may be true.
>> Quinn (24:45):
I'm gonna have. If I find him, I
will have to kill him.
>> Skylar (24:49):
No. Well, hold on. Again, hold on.
I. Yeah, I don't. I don't think that's necess.
If you bring him home, I'm sure I can talk
some sense of doing it. You can help me talk some sense into him. You know, this
is.
We're bringing him back.
Feather. Is't. Isn't that what we wanted?
>> Quinn (25:06):
No.
>> Skylar (25:06):
To have me griddle back?
>> Quinn (25:08):
No, no. You don't bring people back.
I've. I've got a lot to think
about. I'm sorry. I need to get going.
>> Skylar (25:18):
Will you be back?
>> Quinn (25:20):
I will be back, and I. I'm gonna have to
bring some back up.
>> Skylar (25:24):
Just to get him and calmin him down and bring him
home?
>> Quinn (25:28):
Yes.
>> Skylar (25:29):
Okay.
All right.
>> Quinn (25:30):
Anything. Do you have anything that'll help, attract
him to me or anything that you.
>> Skylar (25:37):
He was lying.
>> Quinn (25:40):
You have any. Did you do anything
special with a doll that the doll would
be?
>> Skylar (25:47):
let's see. This is.
I had to make up a weird star shaped symbol
on the crown. And then I laid the doll on it.
And then. And then I had to, like, candles and put those
around the star and the.
>> Quinn (26:00):
Hey, wait, how many candles?
>> Skylar (26:03):
I think it was six.
>> Quinn (26:05):
Least. At least it wasn't seven because it was
seven.
>> Skylar (26:09):
Might have been seven. Oh, I only did it once, and then
it worked so I didn't have to. I mean, you know, you. You learn it, and
then you get really excited, and it kind of just leaves your brain because, you know,
o I did it. I'll never have to do this. I mean, whse am m I gonna bring back?
>> Quinn (26:21):
You're. You're not gonna bring back your wife, are you?
>> Skylar (26:28):
That old?
I just want my son, Dec. That's all I
care about.
>> Cameron (26:34):
Yeah, we've got wi fi. All right. Wi fi
hate.
>> Skylar (26:42):
Anyway. Good one.
>> Quinn (26:48):
Well, here's the deal. I'm.
I. I can get
some friends here, but they're not gonna want. And
I can get you mc. Good. We can find them,
guaranteed. We can bring them back here,
but they're not gonna do it for free. You know I
will. I wouldn't request payment, but
group I'm with. If we're gonna take their time and we're gonna need their
(27:11):
help, they aren't gonna do it for free.
>> Skylar (27:13):
Oh, well, I mean, all things considered, if you bring the kids
back, I know there's a lot of, the wanted posters.
There's rewards.
>> Quinn (27:20):
They're gonna want something from you, too, ca. Becausee they don't know you like
I know you.
>> Skylar (27:25):
What does that mean?
>> Quinn (27:26):
They're gonna. They're gonna want payment for the help,
and I can't do this on my own. I don't have time. Nor
will I.
>> Skylar (27:33):
All right. I'm sure I can break up a few
dollars.
>> Quinn (27:37):
They're gonna. They're gonna want 50 gold each, at
least.
>> Skylar (27:41):
All right. I think I could do that.
>> Quinn (27:43):
All right. I will be back.
>> Skylar (27:46):
All right. I look forward to seeing you again. And I'll, try
to keep an eye on the children of the neighborhood and make
sure that nothing bad happens to them, hopefully.
>> Quinn (27:54):
All right, we'll be back within the day.
>> Skylar (27:57):
Oh, speaking of which, if you do need to try to
look around and get any information. I'm sure you know any
of the children's parents could probably give you some
details. Maybe the guards in the area.
oh, Elien. the street urchin. You
remember him?
>> Quinn (28:12):
vaguely.
>> Skylar (28:13):
Oh, yes, I think he might know, maybe even
the other shop owners. Although I'd be careful with them because
they do not like me right now. That is for
sure. See?
>> Quinn (28:22):
How many people have you told about this?
>> Skylar (28:24):
Oh, I didn't tell anybody about this. They just claimed,
that I do some weird, in their words,
weird stuff.
>> Quinn (28:31):
Are they wrong?
>> Skylar (28:34):
I could see how some people might think it's weird.
oh, oh, Sister Serena
at the priest, at the priestess at the church. She
might know a thing or two. I'm not sure. But
anyway, just, you know, just to help you. Maybe they might know
where to look.
>> Quinn (28:49):
I've got've. I've. I've got a better
idea. I don't. I don't need any of them. I'll find out where he's
at. I'GOT to go. I've got to go.
>> Skylar (28:57):
Okay, well, thank you for stopping by. I really appreciate
talking with you.
>> Quinn (29:01):
Would you again, would you say a days passed
since we last used the rock? No,
no, it's the same day.
>> Skylar (29:09):
It's the same day.
>> Quinn (29:09):
Okay, well, I mean, the next day I'm just gonna ask it. O
where McGriddle is, where he's
whereide, where his hideout isn, and t
where he's keeping the kids if we can't find him. But I'm gonna
head back. I'm probably gonna be about an hour late to the burd place.
>> Dave (29:24):
Okay.
>> Cameron (29:24):
I do have a game.
>> Quinn (29:26):
Half hour to an hour.
>> Cameron (29:28):
Mechanics question.
>> Skylar (29:29):
Sure.
>> Cameron (29:30):
all of these beings in this pocket
dimension were created, right?
>> Skylar (29:35):
Yeah.
>> Cameron (29:35):
Are they constructs, the people
here?
>> Skylar (29:39):
Yes, they are.
Not.
>> Quinn (29:40):
Not.
>> Cameron (29:41):
But McGriddle, as of now, would be considered a
construct.
>> Skylar (29:45):
Technically.
Yes.
>> Cameron (29:46):
Yes, that is my favorite enemy.
>> Skylar (29:49):
So it'd be an interesting.
Like, I would argue it's a dual
type. So it'd be a construct
mixed with, in this case, like an undead.
Right.
So I guess undead construct. But I would absolutely say that it
qualifies for sure. So very cool.
>> Quinn (30:07):
Awesome.
>> Skylar (30:08):
all right, we'll cut over to you guys.
so you guys are kicked out of the art
studio, during your lesson. You guys still have
maybe about an hour before you need to go to the
(30:28):
burger place to meet up with Feather McGrick.
Is there anything else you all have
Planned or interest in?
>> Cameron (30:37):
Is there anything interesting in this immediate
area?
>> Skylar (30:40):
So I created, what is basically
a, posters and signs
generator. So basically, I will roll the dice. And I
have a variety of things in each district that
could possibly catch your attention, that
I think might. this would be a fun time to kind of integrate
that. So I will tell you what you see.
O.
>> Dave (31:01):
Interesting.
>> Quinn (31:01):
All right.
>> Skylar (31:01):
So you see a, poster, okay. It
shows a picture of a person on it, and it
reads noodle Wiggle. Because governance
should be fun. And, it is
promoting. It is promoting a
political figure who is running for the
position of king.
>> Cameron (31:20):
What in that city kind of makes them not a king,
right?
>> Skylar (31:23):
Normally.
But there are some obscure circumstances that you may have to ask.
His name is Noodle Wiggle. His name is
Sir Percival Noodle Wiggle.
>> Cameron (31:32):
Does it have his home address on the.
>> Quinn (31:34):
It does not have his home address.
>> Skylar (31:36):
On it, but it does say on the very bottom, paid
for by Noodle Wiggles. was's the
phrase Esquire?
No, no, it's a
campaign. Campaign. The Noodle Wiggle. I was
far off. Off.
>> Cameron (31:52):
Des points to the poster, looks at everyone else
in, With his fingers. Rubs. Rubs his fingers
together to be like money.
>> Skylar (32:02):
there's other,
>> Dave (32:03):
You wantn to support the local candidates?
>> Skylar (32:06):
No.
>> Dave (32:09):
I t know you were into politics. I like
this guy. His name's funny.
>> Skylar (32:13):
Yeah. Des is a big Noodle Wiggle fan.
O.
>> Dave (32:16):
Aren't we all?
>> Skylar (32:18):
there are other signs
if you do want to look at other signs.
>> Quinn (32:23):
Yeah, sure.
>> Dave (32:24):
What's the one? Right?
>> Skylar (32:25):
What is this?
>> Dave (32:26):
Is there a picture of Noodle Wiggle?
>> Skylar (32:28):
Yes. Oh, thisle w
look like he is, very
posh. He has a very broad chest. Actually,
I don't know if I even wrote down races for these.
which is a bummer because
I have to make it up on the spot. He is a gnome
bo.
>> Cameron (32:47):
And not a good with a very.
>> Skylar (32:49):
Broad set of shoulders. But he wears a very fine
robe on his, person. And he has, very,
nice somewhat long hair,
Black hair. Well, I mean, it's all black and white.
>> Cameron (33:00):
Because it's a s poster.
>> Skylar (33:02):
Yeah, Poster draw thing.
He looks veryal.
>> Dave (33:08):
H That looks like the kind of guy who cheat on his
wife
and write him down. We're gonna ask him about him
tomorrow, right? I wrote him in my black book here.
>> Cameron (33:21):
It says death note.
>> Skylar (33:24):
What's the poster next to it say? The whole thing is
just scribbled all over as if it was written on by A
madman. And it just reads wake
up. And then under in like small
letters that are barely, like, readable.
It's says, says to get the truth,
meet us at and it has like an
address in there and it says anytime between 6 and
(33:47):
7pm Mai looks.
>> Dave (33:49):
At the slicer's sundial.
>> Skylar (33:51):
WR N It's probably about
4 o'clock.
>> Dave (33:56):
Darn, we're too early.
>> Cameron (33:58):
Oh, well, won't be at that
meeting, I guess.
>> Skylar (34:02):
these are the only two posters on this
particular, beam. But. But there are other
walls and things where posters could easily be found
if you walk a block or so.
>> Dave (34:14):
I mean, another idea is
we just go get some burgers now
and eat
and get catch sh Meat
that, ball Blood ball team hit
up. I wanted to get some signatures. Maybe we could
sol them H Or they're
(34:35):
looking for new managers.
>> Cameron (34:38):
Des nods in agreement,
gives you a thumbs up.
>> Dave (34:44):
What were you saying? Well, we just
go meet the blood football team, the Munchies or
whatever they were called and
Munchies. Yeah, let's do
it. What do you think?
>> Cameron (34:56):
This Des, not gives
thumbs up.
>> Quinn (35:00):
Keto youo follow suit?
>> Skylar (35:03):
All right, sounds good. So you guys make your way. you kind of
wander a little bit because you don't have feather, around to kind of
help you out. But you talk to a couple people along the way or you
follow some signage and eventually you find the
Burger Beast restaurant. which is
actually right next to a tavern
called Ooze and Booze. But whatever the case,
you go into Burger Beasts. it's coming up
(35:26):
on 5:00. It hasn't gotten like, super bustling yet, but there are
definitely some people starting to come in. maybe some people that get off
work a little early in the day and they're coming in to get
some burgers or whatever else at
the sort of, person standing
there ready to seat people is a mind
flayer, strangely enough. and he says,
(35:46):
##idst. His tentacles.
He says, welcome to Burger Beasts.
How can I help you? How many in your party today?
>> Cameron (35:54):
U Des empties his mind completely.
>> Skylar (35:58):
Okay.
>> Quinn (36:00):
Ew.
>> Skylar (36:02):
Excuse me.
>> Dave (36:04):
That'five of us.
>> Skylar (36:06):
Oh, five years. He looks over at the table. He
goes, u right this way.
And he picks up five, menus and he
grabs five sets of silverware and he leads you guys over to
a table. It's got six seats technically, but,
you know, for five, for a group of five, it'll work.
He says, of course. Please have a seat.
And he sets the Menus down.
And he says, you'wait here, is.
(36:27):
And, he kind of looks around and he says.
Oh, yes, the alson drow
will be by here momentarily in order to, assist
you. My name is Bobby mine.
And, I will thank, you.
For coming to Burger Beast today.
And he walks away. There look to be any blood
bo playerswh. Big hulking
(36:50):
dudes wanted to beat each other up maybe. As you
look towards the kitchen, you see a
just kind of, just underneath. You know how it's kind of like a big window or
whatever. You can see inside this big
burly, massive beast of a figure
that seems to have a white apron on, but you can't really see
his. You can kind of just like see right into his
pecs. he's shirtless, but he has the apron
(37:12):
on. he looks quite hairy. he's
moving about the kitchen. He's flipping burgers and whatnot. Like I
said, you can't quite see his face, but he seems like he might
know something about, that
side of things.
>> Quinn (37:25):
I guess we just sit and wait for, the waiter.
>> Cameron (37:27):
I'm gonna eat a burger.
>> Skylar (37:29):
Yeah, well, you guys have the, menus in front of
you. You start looking through. There's a variety of burgers. Is there
anything that you guys see that, really catches
your attention?
>> Cameron (37:39):
Well, I see, I see a burger here. the
ogre bacon special.
>> Skylar (37:43):
Oh, nice.
>> Cameron (37:44):
It's a tripple stack patty.
>> Skylar (37:47):
Holy cow.
>> Cameron (37:48):
In between each patty a grade
ogre bacon. Oh, with
special goat cheese sauce.
>> Skylar (37:56):
Nice. Thripped over it some sauce.
>> Quinn (37:59):
I walk in the door at your.
>> Dave (38:00):
So why are you so
sweaty?
>> Quinn (38:07):
Would I be there yet? You think itn be really great
if I just hear you. Why not?
>> Dave (38:12):
Why not?
>> Quinn (38:13):
Somebody says sauce.
>> Skylar (38:16):
And you immed and Iiner.
You're immediately greeted by the mind flayer.
And he says. Excuse me, sir, how can I help you? How many within your
party?
>> Quinn (38:26):
I'm with them'm.
>> Skylar (38:27):
Oh, sure. You were the fifth. Okay. I was wondering.
>> Dave (38:30):
Yeah, that's many guys with us.
>> Skylar (38:31):
Oh, wonderful. Co please feel free to join
them. There's a menu already over there for you.
Mind you, when you see the party, you see ro cover in
paint. Yes.
>> Quinn (38:42):
For what's up with the little one? I'm
sorry I'm not justing the groove.
Oh.
>> Skylar (38:50):
And he walks away shortly. a
moment later, a drow
in a sort of suit and tie
comes walking over and he says good
eveningh.
What can I get for you all today of
beverages? Can I Get you all beverages. Anything other than
just glasses of water.
Which I will bring out as well.
>> Dave (39:12):
Well, Betather, you made it just in time for a happy hour.
>> Skylar (39:17):
I'll take two to a half off at the moment.
>> Quinn (39:19):
I'll take two of your
finest.
>> Cameron (39:23):
Now's our chance to come up with just weird.
>> Skylar (39:26):
Yeah, yeah.
You guys get to come.
>> Quinn (39:27):
Pepper.
Half off.
>> Skylar (39:31):
That's a ripo.
>> Quinn (39:33):
You're only gonna give us half the drink?
>> Skylar (39:36):
No, sir. I give a full drink for half the
price, my little red friend.
O.
>> Dave (39:42):
Okay. Is there anything that cost one
gold that if you have the price is
zero.
>> Skylar (39:49):
it would be essentially you
five silver pieces.
>> Dave (39:55):
Why if I did one
copper.
>> Skylar (39:59):
I can find you a drink for one copper. So.
Yes.
>> Dave (40:03):
Excellent.
>> Skylar (40:04):
It will be our cheapest of alcoholic bever. Oh,
I want of grogs.
He writes. He starts scribbling that down and u you there.
which would you like?
I'll take, malted mead.
Mallted mead.
O. Good choice. Yes, very good.
He writes that down.
>> Cameron (40:25):
You, sir, des points to the menu.
>> Skylar (40:28):
He, comes and walks over your shoulder.
>> Cameron (40:31):
A sign that just says mug root beer.
>> Skylar (40:33):
That's what he wants. Oh, yes.
My be y. Would you like that in a chilled
glass or regular?
>> Cameron (40:39):
Des nes.
>> Skylar (40:40):
Chilled. Okay. Very nice, Very nice. You,
sir, the sweating just came in.
>> Quinn (40:45):
Yes, I'd like that. I want two because you said
half hour. Correct.
>> Skylar (40:49):
Be regular price.
>> Quinn (40:51):
Two of the, Two of the wizard's beard.
>> Skylar (40:54):
The wizard. Oh, yes, yes. It's in season
right now, so is very.
>> Dave (40:59):
It's like a monster.
>> Skylar (41:03):
He writes down two with.
>> Cameron (41:05):
I was just thinking, like, right now is the perfect time
to cut their one wizard's beard.
He just finished growing it.
>> Skylar (41:14):
He was very proud. He was ready to he. It was
getting quite itchy.
And you, sir?
>> Dave (41:21):
I'll have two, rum and
Dr. Thunder waves.
>> Skylar (41:27):
Waveses. Good.
Yes, of course. I will give those up for you all promptly. Thank
you.
>> Quinn (41:33):
Yeah. Can I also get a giant hill mist?
>> Skylar (41:37):
Sure. Yes, of course.
Are we all going to be on.
Separate tickets or will we be on one? One
ticket.
>> Cameron (41:43):
I mean, I'm gonn die a dash, so one ticket's fine.
>> Dave (41:47):
Good thing. You can't to.
>> Skylar (41:48):
Yeah, I wasnna good thing.
>> Cameron (41:49):
Character didn say that.
>> Skylar (41:52):
Why one?
>> Quinn (41:53):
Okay.
>> Skylar (41:53):
Thank you.
Fantastic. that makes my job easier.
Just star keto.
Before I, leave.
You with the bitus for a little bit and go grab your drinkams.
>> Quinn (42:04):
Oh, what do you suggest?
>> Skylar (42:07):
Well,
>> Cameron (42:08):
Chicken nuggets, Rocky mountain oysters.
>> Skylar (42:11):
Yes, the rocky mountain oysters are
Quite.
Tasty if you enjoy a salty snack.
>> Quinn (42:18):
can I get the fried pigs feet?
>> Skylar (42:20):
You may absolutely get the fried pigs feed.
Yes. Anything for anyone else.
>> Dave (42:24):
Does anybodynn. You want toa plate a fairy fries
for the table. Anybody want to go in on.
>> Quinn (42:29):
Well, here, have some fries.
He's paying for it.
>> Skylar (42:33):
Agreeies.
yes.
And what sauce would you like with those fairy fries?
>> Dave (42:37):
Very fry sauce.
>> Skylar (42:40):
A man of quality.
He writes it down and he says, I will be right back
with those drinks. And I'll have those
appetizers put in at moment. they should be ready
momentarily. And he disappears off to the back of
where the kitchen is.
>> Quinn (42:54):
O. Have I got a story to tell you guys.
>> Dave (42:57):
Yeah. What happened?
>> Quinn (42:58):
All right. So you know how I mentioned my
friend McGriddle?
>> Dave (43:03):
Yeah, I remember that name.
>> Quinn (43:06):
Yeah. He's really dead.
>> Cameron (43:07):
You said as. No, he uses that fe
on his throat.
>> Quinn (43:11):
About that.
>> Dave (43:12):
I'll drink to that.
>> Quinn (43:13):
Yeah, I went saw. I went and saw the boss
and I quit. You guys know this?
Did we? No.
>> Skylar (43:21):
O.
>> Quinn (43:21):
Well, you know, I ended up quitting. I
quit the job. He. He made a comment about McGriddle's
death and couldn't handle it'the.
>> Dave (43:30):
Same guy you wanted us to rob of all of his
antiquities?
>> Quinn (43:35):
Coincidentally. Maybe you.
>> Skylar (43:37):
Yes.
>> Dave (43:37):
that lines up, I guess.
>> Quinn (43:39):
Anyways, his message. He told
me that mcurdle's father wanteded me to go see
him. So that's where. While you were, you know,
painting. If that's what you call it.
>> Dave (43:51):
Oh, it was art. The guy said.
>> Skylar (43:53):
Sell millions.
>> Quinn (43:54):
I went. I went and I saw his dad
and he's. He's done
something horrible. He says
he did this ritual. He took
McRidle's soul and put it
in one of his. He's famous. Or
for making these puppets. So I've always thought there. Very creep. Very, very
(44:14):
ugly, Very creepy, anatomically correct
puppets. My.
He says he's put McGriddle's soul into.
>> Cameron (44:23):
The puppet with that, like one
phrase. Des, just up
like you can smell the construct.
>> Dave (44:36):
Cool.
>> Quinn (44:40):
He's saying that. Stop.
>> Dave (44:43):
What are the details of his ritual?
>> Quinn (44:47):
He's saying that everything was fine the first couple
days. He made pancakes. Couldn't eat him. That's fine.
He's a Pupp.
>> Dave (44:53):
Everyone loves pancake.
>> Quinn (44:55):
He can. And he says after that.
After that he's. He
started kidnapping children in the district.
And something. Something is very evil going
on that took him mass. I told you it was
crazy. He's offered 50 gold
each to help.
>> Dave (45:15):
Him for each child.
>> Quinn (45:18):
Well, how many kids did these guys.
Can we convince him to take more?
>> Dave (45:23):
'Stealing kids?
>> Skylar (45:25):
No.
>> Dave (45:25):
Steing steal more kids.
>> Skylar (45:28):
More kids?
>> Quinn (45:29):
No.
>> Skylar (45:29):
No.
>> Quinn (45:29):
You idiots.
>> Dave (45:31):
Why'we keep stealing the same kid, returning the
same kid. You think they would catch
on?
>> Quinn (45:37):
No. If we rescue these children, their parents
do have. I don't know
how much they're offering per child that we return, but each
child's parents are offering money. But
Gideon, McGriddle has offered 50 gold
pieces for the return of his son.
Now,
(45:58):
he can't be kept alive. But I promised him that we'd bring him back.
Aiveie. But I don't know
what, I don't know what to do from there. But we need to.
We need to. I ask you guys to come help me. We
have to find Mc girl now.
M. Mr. Mc Giddle Senior. Gideon
was telling me about all these people that might know where they're. Nowhere
(46:20):
where he's at but here in the next, you
know, eight to 10 hours here that we can ask the
rocker question. I figure we d just go the EAS way. We ask the
rock where he's at. Not Dwayne Johnson the Rock
here and.
>> Cameron (46:34):
Just Wayne the Rock Johnson sit in an alleyway.
>> Dave (46:37):
He's just sitting right next to us.
>> Quinn (46:39):
He'sitting right next to us. Sorry, buddy.
Anyway, and then we find out. Where's that?
We find out where's that. We rescue the kids. We get the money for
those children. We get the money for McGriddle.
We may have to kill McDle. But you know what? We ain't gonna tell him that.
But I need you guys help
right now. Well, no, we can eat first. I haven't
(46:59):
even ordered. No, you did order.
>> Dave (47:02):
I.
>> Quinn (47:03):
You ordered appetite food. You ordered
appetr. I have no,
you can order. We can eat and then. Then we go. We
eat and then we go.
>> Dave (47:13):
Go where? I heard there's a pretty cool mystery
mysterious club.
>> Quinn (47:19):
It's six. Is he always like this?
Oh, wait.
>> Dave (47:24):
We were talking about art before. you ever heard
of something called the temple
of the rising
Flame?
>> Quinn (47:32):
The shrine. I do know a little bit about the shrine.
Everaxing flame.
>> Dave (47:37):
The art guy told it's a.
>> Quinn (47:39):
Campus with a large statue of the patroon
deity Ignatius. I never
knew exactly how to say it. the God of passion
and innovation encourage artists and
creativity within his followers.
it's a beautiful shrine. Primary temple
surrounded by cherry blossoms. The
statue surrounded by works of art. it's kind of offerings
(48:02):
of his followers.
>> Skylar (48:03):
I just want to really applaud Quinn for reading
that. So well off of the thing that I gave
him, but making it sound like it was just his character
saying, well done, sir.
>> Quinn (48:13):
I didn't want to just copy.
>> Skylar (48:14):
No, that was good. That was impressive.
>> Quinn (48:18):
So, yes, I have heard of it, and I do know lawyer
head. Funny you should ask.
>> Skylar (48:24):
Wow.
>> Dave (48:26):
If we're ever in the neighborhood, it might be worth checking
out.
>> Quinn (48:29):
Well, first, this means a lot to
me. If you could help me with this MC Girl situation. Plus, there is money
involved.
>> Cameron (48:38):
Des gives that, like, motion where he
just puts his fist in his hand.
>> Quinn (48:43):
Ye.
>> Dave (48:43):
I've never seen dead so focused here.
He wants to kill. He's
got it in his eyes. I've seen that
look before.
>> Quinn (48:54):
We have to take him back.
>> Cameron (48:55):
Right Stuff.
>> Skylar (48:56):
That's true.
>> Cameron (48:58):
That would make communicate so much easier.
>> Quinn (49:00):
We have to bring McGriddle back alive.
>> Skylar (49:04):
Can write.
>> Quinn (49:05):
One of the lights that was off above his head turns
on.
>> Skylar (49:10):
Sorry about that. The drow. He
stands readjusting the.
He starts setting your drinks down around the table,
which each of you had ordered.
>> Cameron (49:22):
Des takes a napkin, and one of
his feathers pricks it in his arms. So it's got
a little bit of ink to it.
Well, red ink writes out good.
He writes out that, what Lil Sauce is
describing sounds a lot like a construct.
And something primal in my loins
is telling me to hunt it down.
>> Dave (49:44):
Loins, you say? You.
You could have just borrowed my ink.
>> Skylar (49:50):
I was gonna say, as you finish writing this, and you hold the little
napkin up for everybody at the table to read. The drow
is coming around, and he sees this, and he bends down, he says, you
know, I could get you some crayons.
And he, like, reaches in his pocket, and he pulls out one of those little
packets with two crayons. It's like a green crayon
and a red cray.
>> Cameron (50:10):
I take that, and I'll put it in my pocket for later.
>> Quinn (50:13):
O.
>> Skylar (50:13):
Okay.
>> Cameron (50:14):
I've done writing for now.
>> Skylar (50:15):
But it was just. This is all I had.
>> Quinn (50:19):
What.
>> Dave (50:19):
What it say?
>> Skylar (50:21):
Oh, yeah, that's right. You discovered
that you could communicate by writing, but there's one person
at the table't read.
>> Cameron (50:29):
So from now on, we need to be partnered in
every separation.
>> Skylar (50:36):
Oh, no. We
thought we got somewhere.
>> Dave (50:41):
Oh, just, Des's loins are telling him to
kill this construct that he thinks
McGriddle'in or is. Oh, I've been
there, but with chickens.
I love killing chickens.
>> Skylar (50:58):
I'll just.
>> Cameron (50:58):
I'd give you a thumbs up and.
>> Dave (51:00):
I'm not talking about the bird.
Well, what are you talking about?
>> Quinn (51:05):
Cowards. Trair.
Chickens.
>> Skylar (51:10):
Do you all need a couple of minutes?
>> Dave (51:12):
I'm hungry now.
>> Skylar (51:13):
Oh, well, it just sounded like you were
in quite the conversation. And I want this.
>> Quinn (51:19):
And I.
>> Skylar (51:19):
He just points at something randomly on the menu.
Okay.
>> Dave (51:22):
and then he lifts up his.
>> Quinn (51:24):
Finger and the thing he pointed at.
>> Skylar (51:26):
Is covered in paint.
>> Quinn (51:28):
And he shows it to the guy.
>> Skylar (51:30):
That is convenient. He says, ah,
yes, the Hindenburger.
Yes. Oh, you're a spicy fan.
And he writes it down.
All right.
>> Quinn (51:42):
Yum, yum, yum.
>> Skylar (51:43):
Is fries allgh to that, or did you want a different side?
>> Dave (51:46):
A lot of fries.
>> Quinn (51:48):
Wait, we already ordered fries.
>> Skylar (51:49):
Sure.
>> Cameron (51:50):
Fries.
>> Skylar (51:50):
More fries. Wings.
>> Dave (51:52):
Chicken.
>> Skylar (51:53):
Oh, wa. well, that's not.
I guess I.
It's an upgrade, but, it's a.
>> Quinn (51:58):
Little bit more expensive.
>> Dave (51:59):
Not my d. Fair enough.
>> Skylar (52:00):
All right.
I like how you're not looking at him. Like, can I have permission to.
No, he just gives him a walk. Pay.
>> Quinn (52:11):
You're paying for that. And there's not I'm gonna do about
it.
>> Skylar (52:14):
I'll have the ground aim mint burger. The ground
dim mintaur.
>> Dave (52:18):
Yes.
>> Skylar (52:19):
All right, well, the chef hates making those.
He is a minotaur himself.
>> Quinn (52:23):
But that's all right.
>> Skylar (52:25):
You know, it's on the menu for a reason. All right, got it.
>> Cameron (52:29):
And you fresh from the race
san describing earlier?
>> Skylar (52:33):
Yes. I forget what it was called. I don't remember Don either,
but he says.
All right.
He writes it down the three tier.
Yeah. Ah, bacon burger. Yeah.
Oh, it was the.
>> Cameron (52:44):
With the hgregr.
>> Dave (52:46):
Oh, the minotaur. Minotaur burger is market
price y the rest today. that is a
pretty good deal.
>> Skylar (52:52):
But takes, it back to the back. And you just your.
>> Dave (52:57):
Given the conversation we're having.
I'll go with this, meat construct
burger.
>> Skylar (53:03):
Meat.
O.
Yes.
Does is loins reactivate.
You know, that used to be on.
Our secret menu, but so many people ordered it, it was kind of
annoying to take it as a secret menu item.
So we just made it official. Wonderful choice.
(53:23):
And you, sir?
>> Quinn (53:24):
I'll take, the McGriddle special.
>> Skylar (53:28):
All right.
>> Quinn (53:28):
Sounds great.
>> Skylar (53:30):
He's like, not many people order that anymore.
>> Cameron (53:33):
That's, a trademark. You get sued every time someone buys.
>> Skylar (53:36):
Yeah, we used to.
Whoever was collecting that money.
>> Quinn (53:40):
Stop. What kind of sauce do you guys got?
>> Skylar (53:43):
Heard come back. sure.
We've got,
long sauce, short sauce,
blue sauce, U.
>> Quinn (53:52):
a little sauce and sauce.
We lost our supplier for that, big sauces sauce.
>> Skylar (53:58):
We didn't get a delivered big sauce.
Oh, yes, of course we have big sauce.
>> Quinn (54:00):
I'll take the big sauce sauce.
>> Skylar (54:03):
You've got it.
And, with that, the drow heads.
>> Quinn (54:07):
On the back side.
>> Skylar (54:09):
Okay.
And he heads back to the kitchen.
Man, can't believe you ordered big sauce
Sauce inn.
>> Quinn (54:16):
Try it. See what tastes like, you know, see.
>> Dave (54:19):
Where'Ten I gave him the rest.
>> Quinn (54:21):
I gave him the rest.
>> Skylar (54:22):
I want make sure he's falling it.
>> Quinn (54:24):
Okay. And then sound
good?
>> Skylar (54:27):
a few minutes later, the waiter. I say
a few minutes. Maybe like 10 minutes later. So, the wayiter
returns with all your food. He starts handing it out,
including big sauces sauce,
which is just for you. You're the only one that ordered
it. But everybody else, you get your food, whatever.
>> Quinn (54:45):
Yeah, I'm gonna try the sauce. Do I need a roll?
>> Skylar (54:47):
It tastes almost nothing like your sauce.
>> Quinn (54:50):
Does it good, though,
Sorry. Because I got you put some of.
>> Skylar (54:56):
Those ingredients that you used to call kind of your secret ingredients,
and it tastes like he just kind of threw those in. but
he has no idea how they're supposed to work. So he's basically just trying to
take your secret stuff, add it to his stuff, and assumed it
would be good, and it's not.
>> Quinn (55:10):
Take a cup of fries.
>> Skylar (55:11):
Okay.
>> Quinn (55:13):
Spit it out. What a disgrace
to my sauce.
>> Skylar (55:17):
Are you saying this?
>> Quinn (55:19):
I'm just table creaming it. I
taked the sauce and I just. I take the cup of sauce and I
just chug it.
It accidentally.
>> Skylar (55:30):
It's ro right in the face.
Ro's gonna the sauce and then lick it.
Is it good or not?
Yeah, it's not great. It's probably just paint as well. That's
also true.
>> Dave (55:43):
Ro.
>> Skylar (55:44):
Pa or ro is gonna be like, that's 'that the worst
thing he's tasted.
>> Quinn (55:49):
So far this campaign. So.
>> Skylar (55:53):
Anyways, he licks it. He goes,
ugh.
>> Dave (55:57):
that's the worst sauce I've ever had.
>> Quinn (56:00):
Was that paint in
that?
It tastes like paint.
>> Skylar (56:09):
Yeah.
>> Dave (56:09):
I'm gonna hint some paint.
>> Skylar (56:10):
He grabs another bab fls it again.
D tastes a lot like red paint.
>> Cameron (56:19):
T'tasting hint T red.
>> Dave (56:24):
He's got synesthesia.
>> Cameron (56:28):
M what's red and tastes like blue paint?
>> Skylar (56:32):
I know this one is, As you guys
are eating your food and you're kind of just chatting
amongst yourselves, what do you guys expect to be
your next steps as you guys
kind of finish up your meal? I feel like
there's a pressing matter. There's the pressing matter
that feather McGregor has brought before you. Involving
(56:52):
Gideon McGriddle. you do have that
poster should you choose to take the what
looked like the drawings and scribblings of a madman
expecting you to be someplace at someime around
sixock seven. There's of course the
church that had been discussed before where
Father our Padre,
resides that Quinn said might have some connections on
(57:14):
how you can move your horse sen hopefully fence
it or sell it in some way shape or form.
>> Cameron (57:20):
And then we drab a noodle wiggle.
>> Skylar (57:23):
Or there's a noodle wiggle or we can join the thieves
guill or figure out how to join the thieves get
these are all possibilities. Is there anything that you feel
is pressing that you might want to kind of focus on doing
first?
>> Dave (57:37):
helping.
>> Quinn (57:41):
Go fine.
>> Dave (57:42):
But right now mai'thinking of ways to get
out of this Bill.
>> Skylar (57:48):
And Aston.
Alton Drow makes his way back towards you and you see
the slip of paper in your hand and the rest of you are
thinking about how you're going to have to deal with some sort of
undead construct puppet here in the
residual hours of the night. We will end
