As spring comes to an end, a construction worker rushes to put the final touches on his work when he discovers something strange amidst the tailings of his dozer - a carved stick, possibly a form of ancient totem from the days of the early settlers, or even older. The announcement of his extraordinary discovery would be the last thing anyone hears from him.
In the following week, a group of makeshift employees would step off a bus at the newly developed Camp Roanoke to prepare for the upcoming season, where campers would arrive with dreams of kayaking and fireside stories, but until then, our team of preppers will experience a story that quickly becomes a nightmare as they too discover the strange powers embodied in the ancient totem. The question remains, will they live to tell the tale?

island. But they didn't have enough supplies to last through the
winter. So their leader, a fellow named
John White, headed back to England to bring back the

got stuck. You see, it took him three years
before he was able to get back here. And when he did return,
the whole settlement was gone, Not a soul in
sight. All he found was the carving on a

Well, if we knew for sure, it wouldn't be a

said, there's lots of theories out there, like they died
of disease or just integrated with the local native
tribes. My theory revolves around them all
getting wiped out by a Wendigo.

A Wendigo. A horrible monster spawned
from a person who feasted on human flesh, who couldnt
shake the taste to the point any where it became an addiction.
Their insatiable hunger for more slowly changing them
into a horned monstrosity known as the
Wendigo that hunts the forest, seeking out lost
campers and hikers who strayed too far from their

That's a lot of title. But the key thing that you need to
know is that the title of this one
shot is Terror
at Camp Roanoke. Joining me

Cameron, who you probably all recognize from most of
our series. We've got Connor, who has been a
guest star on a couple of them and also
has been on Bender and Bru,
our original series as Brock Lee. And then
finally we have Fatty Lumpkins, who has
played Keto you'll recognize as Keto from

three of you to this very special again, Monster of the Week
One shot. Things are going to get spooky. Things are going toa get
scary. But before they can get spooky and scary,
we need to know what the stakes are. And by
that I mean who the heck your characters are that are about to get
haunted or otherwise

he had heard that big owl
resides in these lakes, swamps,
what have you, bodies of water.

But his other thing that you should know about Greie
Gershwin is that he is estranged from his
family. Because if you know anything about famous
jazz composers, you're probably familiar with the name George
Gershwin. O who is his great, great
grandad. The premier jazz
musician may have heard of Rhapsody in
Blue as was abord.

So I did recognize the name. That's his family name.
And jazz music runs in the family,
except it does not run through his veins.
So rather than pursue a life

all of the players introduced, I'll give you a little bit of a
background to how this,
will go. firstly, you guys are all going
to be, bust over to this island,
which is the island of Roanoke, right off
sort of the, the edge, the eastern edge of

North Carolina. And there, there has been a
brand new summer camp that was built by
Willie, or Mr. Willie, as he likes
to be referred to, calling it obviously Camp
Roanokak, as would be logical. And you guys have
all been hired to prepare this summer
camp for the upcoming season. So we're talking like mid
June. You guys are getting moved over there. They're going to

have campers this next week. It's
a whole summer camp, right? It's got all the necessities. They're going to
have boats and kayak section. They're going toa have a swimming
area. they're going toa have some fishing. They're going toa have
like a beach area that's got all kinds of beach games,
all that kind of good stuff, that normally would come with a summer
camp. And so you guys are going there the week ahead of
(22:48):
time to do the final touches to prepare this camp. Now,
obviously this camp was built last year. It's
technically brand new. Everything in it is brand new. Or at least,
the buildings have been renovated. Maybe they're older, but the buildings
have been renovated in such a way u to be used for
summer camp activities. But of course it had to be
winterized and now needs to be de winterized. You guys are
going there to get everything all prepped and set up and everything for the campers so that

it's ready to go the second they get there. They don't have to wait.
So, that's where we're kind ofn toa kick things off.
And you're also going toa be hearing some really interesting
historical background, some of which is fictionalized
obviously, but a lot of all of it is inspired very
heavily by the true happenings, that happened at
Roanoke Islands, involving the Lost

Well, now, this here is an interesting

Do you have any idea what this is? Some
carved stick from a hundred years ago?

Yeah, something like that. There's all sorts of
relics that were left behind by the native tribes and early
settlers scattered across this island. This here looks
like some kind of totem.

Whoa. any idea how old it is? How much is
it worth?
>> Speaker B (01:45):
First of all, asking questions like that is going to get
us in trouble. The camp owner owns this land, and
therefore anything we find belongs to him. I
don't care how much it's worth. You try and keep
anything, we are both getting fired.
Secondly, I've been working in Construction for
23 years. How in the world would I know anything about
ancient Native American relics?

Oh, right. Sorry.
>> Speaker B (02:08):
That's fine. I'm just warning you. Don't go pocketing

You know, this totem reminds me of the old legend
about what happened to the settlers that originally landed on this
island.

Yeah. You don't know about the lost colony of
Roanoke?

Can't say I've ever heard of it.

Didn't you listen in history class? This is a
famous American mystery. See,
a whole group of settlers, some of the first to stepp foot
on American shores, tried to settle here on this
island. But they didn't have enough supplies to last through the
winter. So their leader, a fellow named
John White, headed back to England to bring back the

necessary stocks the settlers would need. But he
got stuck. You see, it took him three years
before he was able to get back here. And when he did return,
the whole settlement was gone, Not a soul in
sight. All he found was the carving on a
wooden post that read, grow a toan.

to them?
>> Speaker B (03:07):
Well, if we knew for sure, it wouldn't be a
great American myiseery now, would it? With that being
said, there's lots of theories out there, like they died
of disease or just integrated with the local native
tribes. My theory revolves around them all
getting wiped out by a Wendigo.

A wend what?
>> Speaker B (03:24):
A Wendigo. A horrible monster spawned
from a person who feasted on human flesh, who couldnt
shake the taste to the point any where it became an addiction.
Their insatiable hunger for more slowly changing them
into a horned monstrosity known as the
Wendigo that hunts the forest, seeking out lost
campers and hikers who strayed too far from their

shot is Terror
at Camp Roanoke. Joining me

our series. We've got Connor, who has been a
guest star on a couple of them and also
has been on Bender and Bru,

finally we have Fatty Lumpkins, who has

three of you to this very special again, Monster of the Week
One shot. Things are going to get spooky. Things are going toa get
scary. But before they can get spooky and scary,
we need to know what the stakes are. And by
that I mean who the heck your characters are that are about to get
haunted or otherwise

beliefs that he kind of holds to? Anything

Youisa being fair and kind. He tries his best. Do the right

As far as he's a teacher, he'd.

As social settings go, just so we can get an idea of Your
character going in, like, how does he tend to
react to being around other people?

Oh, he's very introverted. but like, if
you like sat down to him with him and talked with him,
he'd be actually really. He's not like the introvert
that can't hold a conversation. He's really good at
holding conversations. and he gets interested by
talking to people. It's just he's not good at starting them. So he just
doesn't. also, I forgot to mention, he has a wife.

skills. They needed some videography, some photography for the.

animal. But to date his favorite find is
he did come across the inland
taipan on a mission trip. And when he did get to
go visit Australia.

Now I'm more than once he's that. He's that
girl, from college that went like, and studied abroad and then
she came back and she's like, oh man, I am, I

All right. Right on. Okay. So, with that
being said, does he have a particular
achievement now? Now that he's held to taipan, what
is, what is next on his list of things that he wants
to accomplish with his, his life and
his sort of Steve Irwin esque
identity?
>> Fatty Lumpkins (19:34):
So yeah, holding all the snakes and stuff, he, his
heart is still near and dear to crocodiles
and nice, alligators. So he most
recently has heard through the YouTube and the
Instagram reels that there'this
massive alligator in the depths of North
Carolina named Big Al. So he is a
bigy alligator. That is his next,

his next passion project, Dig.
>> Cameron (19:59):
And even I'heard of Big O. Yep. I'm just
a history teacher.
>> Skylar (20:03):
Mm You know, doesn't take much to hear about a big
alligator for sure. so tell me, why did he
choose to take this job at the summer camp then?
>> Fatty Lumpkins (20:12):
So the reason he is twofold. So
he had heard that big owl
resides in these lakes, swamps,
what have you, bodies of water.
>> Skylar (20:21):
Yes.
>> Fatty Lumpkins (20:22):
But his other thing that you should know about Greie
Gershwin is that he is estranged from his
family. Because if you know anything about famous
jazz composers, you're probably familiar with the name George
Gershwin. O who is his great, great
grandad. The premier jazz
musician may have heard of Rhapsody in
Blue as was abord.
>> Skylar (20:43):
So dad actually just went into the public domain
I think this year.
>> Fatty Lumpkins (20:47):
So I did recognize the name. That's his family name.
And jazz music runs in the family,
except it does not run through his veins.
So rather than pursue a life
and musical excellence, he is dizzy
chaseasing snakes and crocodiles and his family does not approve
of it.
>> Cameron (21:05):
So he was he good at
an instrument?
>> Fatty Lumpkins (21:09):
M. He was about as good as Fatty
was in high school. Just he played.
>> Skylar (21:14):
Oh.
>> Fatty Lumpkins (21:16):
M. I like that Fatty's referring to.

Himself in the third person.

Patty in high school drew very the years of
class.

So, yes, since he does not have his family's money nor
any music scholarships or
concerts to bring in funds, he has
to work at this shoddy day camp
while looking for big L. Ouch.
>> Skylar (21:37):
Don't tell the owner, Willie, that you
think it's a shoddy day camp.
>> Cameron (21:42):
I mean, our job is to make it less shaby.
>> Skylar (21:44):
They actually very tr. So, with
all of the players introduced, I'll give you a little bit of a
background to how this,
will go. firstly, you guys are all going
to be, bust over to this island,
which is the island of Roanoke, right off
sort of the, the edge, the eastern edge of

North Carolina. And there, there has been a
brand new summer camp that was built by
Willie, or Mr. Willie, as he likes
to be referred to, calling it obviously Camp
Roanokak, as would be logical. And you guys have
all been hired to prepare this summer
camp for the upcoming season. So we're talking like mid
June. You guys are getting moved over there. They're going to
(22:27):
have campers this next week. It's
a whole summer camp, right? It's got all the necessities. They're going to
have boats and kayak section. They're going toa have a swimming
area. they're going toa have some fishing. They're going toa have
like a beach area that's got all kinds of beach games,
all that kind of good stuff, that normally would come with a summer
camp. And so you guys are going there the week ahead of
(22:48):
time to do the final touches to prepare this camp. Now,
obviously this camp was built last year. It's
technically brand new. Everything in it is brand new. Or at least,
the buildings have been renovated. Maybe they're older, but the buildings
have been renovated in such a way u to be used for
summer camp activities. But of course it had to be
winterized and now needs to be de winterized. You guys are
going there to get everything all prepped and set up and everything for the campers so that
(23:10):
it's ready to go the second they get there. They don't have to wait.
So, that's where we're kind ofn toa kick things off.
And you're also going toa be hearing some really interesting
historical background, some of which is fictionalized
obviously, but a lot of all of it is inspired very
heavily by the true happenings, that happened at
Roanoke Islands, involving the Lost
Colony. So you guys can head right over to the first episode where you can
