Many people believe that being saved means that you have to give up everything you think is fun or that your life has to change overnight. Our faith walk is a journey that begins with a simple step, a personal journey to the best love affair you will ever experience. A love affair that focuses on relationship, not rules or criticisms. I want to breakdown this love affair through applying biblical principles in a practical way. I invite you to take this walk with me, share it with anyone you want to experience a selfless, active, unconditional love. Join me in unlocking the simple steps.
Being a follower of Christ is not an easy road but it is worth it.
I am very good at compartmentalising! I also have become very good at ignoring pain, hurtful things. I became cold as a means of self preservation. When COVID hit, I was living alone and we were on lock down in Jamaica. I was left to my demons... I had NO CHOICE but to process them or allow them to overcome me.
This was a difficult episode for me to record. I didn't realise how emotional I would have gotten. Let me apologise in advance.
God's goodness is so overwhelming sometimes that it brings me to tears of joy and gratitude.
Even though I don't have a spiritual "birthday" I do remember vividly the transition for me, the period of time that I decided to be obedient to God.
In Matthew 23:1-34 Jesus talks about the religious leaders and He refers to the fact that they teach the law but they don't live it.
Placing myself in the right environment was transformational for me.

It is said that unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies. What does forgiveness really mean? How do we forgive someone who will never change? Does forgiveness mean I allow it to happen again? If I forgive, do I forget? If I don’t forget, is it truly forgiveness? Is there a process to forgive? There is so much to unpack. Hopefully this will be the beginning of healing.
