Denna gång kollar vi på ”Herrens ängel” i Gamla Testamentet. Vem är han? Vad är hans identitet? Är det en vanlig ängel, eller är det Gud själv? Vi kollar på en hel del bibelord och kommer till en trolig slutsats; att Herrens ängel är Jesus Kristus innan inkarnationen. Detta baseras på hur ängeln ofta beskrivs som både distinkt från och identisk med Jahvé. Vi kollar på berättelser när Herrens ängel interagerar med bland annat Hagar, Abraham och Isak, Mose vid den brinnande busken, och Gideon.
Avsnittet kopplar ihop dessa texter med Nya Testamentets beskrivningar av Jesus, och visar hur Gamla Testamentet förbereder grunden för kristen tro på treenigheten och inkarnationen.
