In 2014, after purchasing their dream home in Westfield, New Jersey, the Broaddus family began receiving ominous letters from someone calling themselves The Watcher, who deemed themselves “in charge of (the home) watching and waiting for its second coming” and awaiting “young blood”. The stalker seemed to know intimate details about the family and their home, leaving them in a state of fear and paranoia.
