In the last Episode of Support Unseen, Bri shares space with Chanel Porchia-Albert (she/her), founder and Chief Executive Director of Ancient Song Doula Services, to envision what the future of abortion support looks like given our current social and political context and how we can move forward toward this new and imaginative world. Ancient Song Doula Services is a reproductive health organization focused on providing resources and full-spectrum doula services to women of color and marginalized communities throughout New York City and northern New Jersey. Chanel’s work in birth and reproductive justice spans across research and methods of care for marginalized people and people of color. Her efforts within infant and maternal health has led her across the globe to Uganda where she has served as a maternal health strategist in rural war torn areas. She also brings a human rights framework into birthing rooms by highlighting institutional reform and accountability measures within healthcare to address implicit bias and racism.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
