Recorded last summer (July 2024) coming off of year 1 of the Hollins Rebuild and our first win as a staff in the spring. The 2023/24 season was rough, finishing with a record of 0-11 including the spring game. Prior to this recording, the team won their spring game against Bradenton Southeast and finish with a 3-7 regular season record. After bringing in a strong (and productive) freshmen class, the Hollins program has welcomed some Stokes & co. look to build off last szns momentum.
Here are some crazy stats I pulled comparing year one to year 2:
- Bobby averaged 2 yards less per game alone (105.8) than we did as a team in 23 (107.4)
- AA, Riley, and Vinny combined for more tackles than we had as a team
- Vinny, Riley, Teagan, Goldie, and Chris beat or tied last years sack total on their own
- Juelz doubled our INT production on his own. Jermaine and Kaiden matched it (freshmen)
- Julez had more PD alone than we had as a team in 23
- Bobby and Dre outrushed our entire rushing production from 23 on their own
- Kaiden had more return yardage on his INT TD than we had in total return yardage in 23
