Poluarea fonică devine o problemă majoră în Europa și în orașele din întreaga țară. Chiar și în zonele rurale, suntem în mod constant înconjurați de sunete excesiv de puternice.
Mulți oameni nu își dau seama că poluarea sonoră reprezintă o problemă importantă care le afectează sănătatea. A suporta un nivel constant de zgomot de peste 55 de decibeli ziua și 50 de dB noaptea este dăunător pentru sănătate. Zgomotul este tot o formă de poluare.
În acest episod vorbesc despre efectele poluării auditive asupra sănătății, amintesc câteva statistici din România și din UE și prezint câteva soluții pentru a reduce nivelul de poluare fonică și a ne proteja de zgomot.
