There's some stuff in the Bible that is weird to us. It's strange because it's written to them, not us--in a different culture, under a different covenant. BUT there's some good nuggets for us to enjoy and apply--including your ear, your thumb and your big toe!
Is it okay for Christians to "love themselves?" Well, yes, of course--rightly understand and applied, that's exactly how we are able to love others.
