The 2 Greatest

This is the final question to asked ourselves based on Andy Stanley's book Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets.  It's the easiest to answer, and the hardest to live.  But it pays back the best relational dividends.  

The ONE thing in your life that you regret the most was preceded by a series of UNwise smaller decisions.  What if, before we get THERE we asked the maturity question?

Do you ever get a little check in your gut when you're about to do something, say something, buy something?  If so, do you pay attention to the tension?

You and I are writing the story of our lives one decisions at a time. Stanley challenges us to ask the Legacy Question as we do.

I say it's time to reintroduce the WE portion of Bible reading that has become almost exclusively ME in the modern age.  Are you in?

You might be surprised how much Plato has influenced modern theology.  And it's not always good or Biblical.  

Who is the hardest person for you to be completely honest with?  What if that person is YOU?

We alllllllll feel the pressure to achieve!  Some of us show it more than others.  But how in the world (literally) do we get out of that trap.

Sometimes we come across a Bible text and honestly don't know what do make of it.  The text about "Bible zombies" is one of them.

Love is not sentimentality or simply sweetness.  It's not a theory or abstract concept.  It's lived in lives everyday.  And it has a look!

TOXIC PEOPLE.  We all have them and know them.  But is it okay to walk away from them?

Work HARDER, FASTER.  Do MORE.  Sleep LESS.  Is that the Lord's way?  Is there a better way?  And what do we really mean when we say we're getting things done?

Where you put something matters.  Usually we put things we value or use alot close at hand and things we don't farther away.  What is God trying to say by putting the tree in the middle?

Paul tells us to take EVERY thought captive to the obedience of Christ.  Listen, you can be a believer and STILL deal with strongholds--both rational ones AND irrational ones!

Waiting on ANYTHING is hard.  But what's at the CENTER of your waiting has the POWER over you.

Your story is YOUR story and THEIR story is THEIR story.  Let's learn from the life experiences of others, even when they are so different from our own.
