Title: Embracing Change and Trusting the Universe: A Conversation with Kambria Davis

In the latest episode of our show, we had the pleasure of welcoming Kambria Davis, the founder of Kaya Kommunity, for a heartwarming and profound conversation that spanned from athletics to astrology, and from personal transformation to the power of community.

### Finding One's True Path

Kambria Davis shared her incredible journey of personal and professional transformation. Starting out as a district manager in retail, leading a high-stress life, and then making the daring leap into real estate, her story is one of courage and self-discovery. But the real turning point came when she embraced spirituality and energy work, leading her to found Kaya Community – a sanctuary for healing and personal growth.

### The Athlete's Mentality

Our conversation also explored how being an athlete shaped Kambria's life. The discipline, resilience, and the constant pursuit of improvement inherent to athletics played a crucial role in her personal development. These attributes not only helped her navigate the challenges of her career transitions but also imbued her with the strength to embrace new beginnings.

### Stepping into Energy Work and Astrology

Kambria took us through her foray into energy work, detailing her first experience with Reiki. This marked the start of a transformative journey, one which would eventually lead to her exploring astrology, sound healing, and conducting women's healing day events. Kambria explained how astrology, particularly understanding the impacts of Mercury Retrograde and Eclipse seasons, emphasizes the importance of reflection, reassessment, and patience.

### The Founding of Kaya Kommunity

The foundation of Kaya Kommunity was not just a spur of the moment decision, but a culmination of Kambria's experiences, growth, and the realization of her purpose. The name 'KAYA', meaning home or resting place in different cultures, perfectly encapsulates her vision – a space where individuals can come as they are, to heal, learn, and grow.

### Embracing the Cosmic Rhythms

Kambria discussed the significance of being in tune with cosmic events, such as Mercury Retrograde and the Eclipse season, and how these periods can serve as a reminder to slow down, reflect, and reassess our paths. She emphasized the transformative potential these times hold, urging listeners to embrace these cycles as opportunities for growth and introspection.

She's taken me forever to get her on this show.
You are a

Kambria Davis (02:00):
busy

Just Blane (02:01):
lady.
This is Kamriah Davis.
Yes, she is this the founderof the kaya community.
We're going to get into what thekaya community is Uh as we as we
get into this conversation, butI gotta start this thing off.
I know just recently I know youwent out to some college hoops.

(02:21):
You're a big college hoops fan.

Kambria Davis (02:23):
Yes women's basketball for the win Yes.
Hey,

Just Blane (02:28):
we got some Well, man, it's not even beating around the bush.
It's the most exciting time in women'scollege basketball right now right
now Bye And I'm not just getting anightmare from this thing, but man, you
got Angel Reese versus Caitlin Clark.
Is that game tonight?
I know this is on Monday.
We don't normally do this, but we will date this show

(02:48):
because that game is tonight.
It's going to be epic.
I can't wait for that.
We got actually, we got to get outof here before that game even starts.
We got to get this game.

Kambria Davis (02:59):
Yeah, we got people coming over.
But yes, uh, huge, huge for, uh,women's college basketball, women,
women's sports period right now.
It's really

Just Blane (03:09):
cool.
It's putting it on the map.
I do love seeing that.
Yeah.
Now you gotta, you

Kambria Davis (03:13):
gotta hit this.
You used to be a player and a coach.
Is that right?
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
I mean, I didn't play in college,but I played in high school and I
coached and A lot of that was justsuper foundational to my life.
And I think growing it up and growingup an athlete absolutely impacts and has
impacted my whole life and still does.

Just Blane (03:35):
That's incredible.
So how did that translate to futureendeavors after you were done
with playing high school ball orcoaching ball later after that?
So,

Kambria Davis (03:46):
yeah, I really think that athletes have a different mentality.
I have this conversation.
Um, when you are an athlete, you are rejected a lot and
you are criticized often.
And so kind of in our world nowadays, feeling rejected or feeling criticized
can lead to a lot of different things.

(04:08):
And so I think as an athlete, when youare constantly hearing feedback, it
develops your brain, it develops your, your awareness to want to be a better
person, partner, parent, student, athlete, boss, whatever it is, because
you're, you're constantly chasing.
If you, if you listen to AngelReese, Caitlin Clarke, they
are never satisfied, right?

(04:29):
And so I see that for the mostpart as a blessing in my life.
Still, maybe people around me are like,Oh, it's a little bit of a curse, you
know, as I am, I'm not ever satisfied.
Right?
So the constant stretch to be better,to grow, to improve definitely
set the foundation of being anathlete and being able to hear that.

(04:51):
Feedback, that criticism, right?
Or that rejection, like not good enough orneed to be better at this or work on this.
And then that has fueled someof that personal self growth.

Just Blane (05:03):
Mamba, mamba mentality.
Kobe wasn't wrong whenhe had mamba mentality.
That's a real thing.
And.
Athletes have that.
It's, it's, it's wild.
I've seen it up, up closeand personal as Kambria has.
It's, there's something to it.
There's something to

Kambria Davis (05:19):
it.

Becks (05:20):
Yeah.
Well, and to your point, you know, notonly are you hearing that feedback and
that criticism and that critique, right?
You have to learn to take that, but also the wins with the losses.
And losing can be, you know, you knowthis personally by having a loss, you
know, you learn how to deal with that.
You pick yourself upand it's the next play.
It's the next shot.

(05:40):
It's the next drive.
It's the next run.
It's, you have to learn to bestrong mentally with that focus
and pick up and keep going.

Kambria Davis (05:47):
Totally.
Yeah.
And especially playing a team sport too,um, you know, you have to, you have to
start to really think about other people.
bounce things off other people and workthrough other people, and the whole
world doesn't revolve around you, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So learning that, learningthat early on, and yeah, in
basketball, you make a mistake.
You have a mere split second toforget about it, and you have to be

(06:10):
able to move through and move on.
So, yeah.
Yeah, that's been super foundational.
That's why whether I'm in real estateor talking about all the woo woo of
the stars, like that core stuff ofbeing an athlete is still with me and
something I'm still very passionate

Just Blane (06:24):
about.
So you, you, you said it a minute ago,the world doesn't revolve around you.
And you are the one person that wouldknow if that world revolved around you.
We'll get to that.
But after you left college basketball andas a coach and stuff, you went to retail.
Is

Kambria Davis (06:43):
that right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Retail sales started out likeselling cell phones at Verizon
and then moved to Best Buy.
Okay.
And then eventually found my way intojourneys, which is still, um, and most
of those were commission based jobs.
So, and now we're realtor is right.
Realtor, um, and commission based jobs.

(07:04):
And so again, going back to thatfoundation of being an athlete and having
this drive, having this work ethic, beingable to be in that competitive sense.
Um, so yeah, I went into retailoverall for probably, I don't even
know, 15, this year's 15, 16 years.

Just Blane (07:22):
There's lots of skills in there to learn in a retailer.

Kambria Davis (07:24):
Yes.
You're just, all you'redoing is dealing with people.
All

Becks (07:31):
types of different personalities walking in that door, I'm sure.

Just Blane (07:34):
That's it.
Like that's the, any, any retailjob you had was, is diverse.
It's, you're going to getall walks of life in there.
Wherever you're at, it's wild.
And Camry,

Becks (07:43):
I know, I know you and I, you know, share real estate, our
passion and love for real estate.
It's the same thing.
People's world, right?
It's all about relationshipsand people and navigating that.
And so tell me when you transitionedto, from real estate into what
you're doing now with Kaya communityand all that that entails, tell us

(08:05):
kind of how that shift happened.

Kambria Davis (08:07):
Oh man.
Yeah.
So let's see, how do I condense this now?
So I'm in real, I'm in, I'min, uh, not real estate.
I'm in retail and I'm a district manager.
And I've got a hundred plus employees infive states and work in 75 hour weeks.
And for whatever reason, all theaccolades, every award that I

(08:29):
had won, everything that I hadbeen doing was not feeling well.
And there was just this pull.
There was just this, you know, I thinkwe all hit that at some point in our
life or multiple points in our lives.
And the reality is it's always multiplepoints because everything's a cycle,
but I was hitting one of those pointsand it was not fulfilling anymore.
I.
If, if 15 years ago, 12 years ago, when I'm sitting as a retail district

(08:53):
manager, somebody said, okay, in adecade, you're going to be talking
about the stars and the cosmos andthe planetary movements and how energy
is far more important than mindset.
I'd be like, what?
You guys are lunatics.
And what are the stars, thecosmos, the moon's cool.
But like, what is that?
Absolutely.
No way.

(09:13):
Would have, I would Ever seenthis coming, but I knew so.
And it's just steps, right?
And it's funny.
We just make a choice and then wego, we make another choice and we go.
And before you know it, I'm leavingretail and this like safe, stable six
figure income job and all the things.
And people are like, what are you going to do?
And at first I was like,I don't really know.
I'd be like, what are you, you don't know.

(09:36):
And I was like, well, maybe real estate.
A few people had said something about realestate and how good I would be at that.
So I was like, okay, so I actuallyleft my job, my career, and then I
started taking real estate classes.
I know a lot of real estateagents start taking the classes
and kind of dip their toes.
But I have a lot offire in my birth chart.
And so I'm just likeall or nothing person.

(09:58):
Like we're either going forit or I'm not doing it yet.
So that happened.
And then I went from workingretail and all those hours.
To taking real estate school andpretty much silence in my life.
So, you know, waking up at seven andmy phone going off from 7am till 10pm
every day to pretty much nothing.

(10:18):
I'm single at the time.
I just have me and my dog.
I don't have two phones and I'mtaking real estate classes, but
I'm not really doing anything else.
And that was not my life.
And when that starts to happen,And things fall away and your
patterns and your behaviors andyour conditioning and everything
that I've been running from, right?

(10:39):
Because it comes in all forms and yeah,we get to run away from a lot of things.
And so if I'm just working, thenthat's, you know, that's okay.
Cause I'm a hard worker, but really I'mjust avoiding and dodging everything
important in my life for 10 years.
So then I start healing and I startgoing through some of these motions.
And at some point, somebody was like, you should have energy work done.

(11:01):
And I was like, I have no ideawhat you're talking about.
Right?
And so I go have my firstreiki session and at first it
was super strange, very weird.
I was like, what is this weirdcuckoo choo stuff, right?
And, but I found myself in this roomhaving energy work done just sobbing.
I cried more in an hour thanI maybe had in 10 years.

(11:22):
Wow.
Yeah.
And from there, it just kind of unfoldedas to how I went from, you know, retail.
And then now I'm still doing realestate, but this energy, this other
stuff is starting to show its headcause I have space for it finally.
So it kind of started with thefirst Reiki session and then from

(11:44):
there things started showing up.
It's like, as we shed, we, weprovide new space for new to come in.
Wow.

Just Blane (11:53):
What other, what other things kind of started showing up?
Like, is that, what's, what do you mean?

Kambria Davis (11:58):
Oh man.
So I just, what's wild.
So if people know me, like I'm a hugehugger, I cry almost all the time.
When I was in retail, right.
First of all, I'm super in my masculine.
Which I had been most of my lifebecause I played sports, right?
So I'm like very competitive, very my masculine.
And let me just paraphrase this people.
Masculine and feminineis not male, female.

(12:20):
Okay.
It's different energies, but I'm justvery much in my action, action, action.
Control, take it.
And so as that, as I didn't haveto take as much action, I started
to surrender into my feminineenergy, which is the receiving.
Right.
Instead of the constant, like control, control, go, I was able to soften and

(12:42):
I could kind of go back to who I amat my core, which is I'm a really,
really vulnerable, soft, gentle person.
Um, but I can present very masculine ormore active or more, you know, demanding.
And, and so depending on the space thatI was in, how did I, how was I, you
know, held in those different spaces?

(13:05):
So things that were coming up forme, I mean, I had health issues when
I worked that job for 10 years thathave totally been cured now with no
medicine, no doctors, no nothing, literally just energetically healing.
And feeling my feelings.
Yeah.

Becks (13:20):
Yeah.
Cause the stress, it's almost like you'restuffing, you know, I, I, did you know,
I'm also a nurse, a registered nurse andwas in healthcare for 20 years, right?
How did those cancers start?
Like there's medical science behind thisstuff, like completely the effects of
stress and what happens to your body.

Kambria Davis (13:37):
Totally.

Becks (13:38):
This is so inspiring.
So is this then your journey?
Is this what started Kayacommunity or are we not there yet?

Kambria Davis (13:46):
What?
So we're not there quite yet, but yeah.
So over the next year, what, whatis the timing would have been?
Let's see.
That would have been,I'm not great with dates.
So it was like probably a year or two.
And in this, I'm sounding like Reikiand then I do a little more Reiki, then
I take Reiki and then I take Kundaliniyoga class, like yoga teacher training.
And my brother, who he also is intothe spirituality and kind of has

(14:11):
forged this path a little bit for me.
At some point, um, it was actually nearmy birthday and that same year that
I had transitioned out of retail intoreal estate, which would have been 2017.
And I just had this totalpersonal breakthrough.
I mean, I literally cried nonstopfor six days and not like the, like,
like the, like that type of crying.

(14:33):
And my mom kind of was like, are you okay?
And I was like, I know, like I wasliterally just going through a death.
But it was weird because I was onlystill like eight months out of retail.
This was all new for me, butthere was something inside of
me that was like, this is okay.
But sometimes my brainwas like, you're not okay.
And then after like six days of that,my brother kind of read my birth chart.

(14:54):
And yes, he knows me, but he wassaying things that he didn't.
Know specifically about whereI was personally at that time.
And then, yeah, I would say another 10minutes after that, I was actually at
a coffee meeting with like a financialplanner and, um, my, um, ex wife at
the time, who's also a real estateagent, we're planning like a first

(15:15):
time home buyers class or something.
And we're at this coffee shop and Iwould, I don't know how to the terms
to put it in, but I basically likefell asleep or something happened.
I had like a little dream, a little, little downloads, people will
say in the spiritual community.
And I just saw a room full ofwomen and I saw people healing

(15:36):
and talking about stuff.
And then I was like, okay, I got to do that.
And the two women I werewith were like, what?
And I was like, I don'tknow what just happened.
And I just put a bunchof notes in my phone.
And then it was like, okay, I've gotto hold this women's healing day.
And people were like, what do you mean?
And somebody was like, you justhave to put it out there and

(15:57):
everything will fall into place.
I didn't know, similar to kind oflaunching the podcast where it's
just like, you want everything ready.
You want everything to be a certain way.
And it's actually, I know it's like supercliche, but it's not, you just got to
put it out there and learn as you go.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Just start, just start.

(16:18):
And so what's interesting is,so I, I was like, okay, we're
going to have this women's day.
Here's where it's going to be at.
Here's the prize.
It was so interesting becausenobody really asked what it was.
People were like, okay, I'm coming.
And I was like, cause the few people thatare like, well, what's going to happen?
I was like, you're just going tocome be in community and we're

(16:39):
going to heal together as women.
And people are like, okay.
And they were coming.
And I was like, oh man, yes, we're in.
So for so I put it out andthen the next few days I was
like, well, I have to name it.
Something and I didn't know.
And I kept being like, women'shealing, like nothing was feeling
good and I just chasing the answer.

(17:00):
And if I've learned anything aboutmyself, like chasing doesn't work for me.
Um, again, that's the masculine.
That's like, that got to go after it.
Versus if I just surrender, things will appear.
Right.
You two are part of the partof that surrender process
and meeting both of you too.
So, um, I just finally, I waslike, I don't know the name of it.

(17:20):
I started crying.
I was super frustrated.
I was like, okay, I took a bath.
Um, like I mentioned before, Ihave a lot of fire, so water is
really good to balance me out.
So I was taking a bath and Iwas listening to a song and
there was something in the song.
Again, my brother's a key piece of this.
He had sent me the song andit said, come as you are.
And I had heard that it seemed like cutelittle signs and I was like, it just

(17:42):
hit different because I was like, howdo I express that at this healing day?
It doesn't matter if you've had Reiki.
It doesn't matter if you're, youknow, of a certain religious belief.
It doesn't matter if you're 16 or 60.
I just want women at the time to comeand feel safe and to feel their feelings.
That's, that's basically all I knew.

(18:03):
Wow.
And then come, yeah, so come as you aredropped and then I'm Kambria with a K.
So naturally I have to be extrabeing the Leo that I am and put K.
So that's how kind, so I was like.
Yes.
So again, it came, it was reception.
It wasn't me starting a business.

(18:23):
Like where's the, what's the cool name?
It just came.
And then I was like, now I'm cryingfor a totally different reason
because it felt so congruent.
It felt so aligned.
And then I Googled what is Kaya and indifferent languages, some version of
Kaya incorporated and encompass all ofthe things that this first like women's
healing day was going to be about.

(18:44):
Wow.
What a story.
Yeah.
What a journey.
Oh yeah, man.
And this

Becks (18:51):
happened in, did you say two, three years time?
Like that, that, that this all

Kambria Davis (18:55):
unfolded.
That's a lot of change.
Yeah.
So the, so I left Journeys, I gavemy notice, uh, December of 2016, got
my real estate license March of 2017.
So it was that five ish months.
And then CAIA, the firstevent was 5 5, May 5th, 2019.

Just Blane (19:16):
What, what was the event?
What was this event?
This is, was, was when allthe women came together.
Then what did you do there?
Because totally if you didn't evenhave a name for this thing, you
probably didn't have a , an agenda.
Like you didn't know whatyou were gonna do, right?

Kambria Davis (19:28):
Uh, no.
She was like, fillthings We're fill things.
So yeah, we were gonna, I knewwe were gonna fill things.
And again, at this point I.
You know, I had all these, you know, train trainings.
'cause I know we live in a societythat really loves trainings.
Mm-Hmm.
and education and learning.
Yeah.
My degree.
Right.
I just intuitively, I just trustedand I trusted and at this time,

(19:52):
I mean, it's still hard for me,but at, in 2019 as five years ago.
Learning to just trust.
And I was just like, okay, Igot to have this, have this.
I knew there was going to be speakers, but I just did, I did some breath work.
I did some, you know, intuitive healing things.
We did a lot of partner workand we literally, I think that
the day just a bunch of womencame and felt their feelings.

(20:12):
And we did a ton of energy work andwe ate and we cried and we laughed.
What a great time.
That was the beginning of Kaya.

Becks (20:22):
What a great time.
So along with that work, then I'm sureas you mentioned, you're into, you
know, the education, the training, thelearning, and that grew and developed.
So tell me how then you gotinto, is it called sound healing?
And then also

Kambria Davis (20:37):
there's astrology piece.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So the astrology, it's funny.
Right.
It's like, you know, you hear yourhorror score scope in your life or,
Oh, Leo, because of Leo, people like,Oh, of course you're Leo, these things.
But it really turned for me when mybrother, when I was at this moment,
this deaf and rebirth cycle, when heread my chart and it just opened up,

(21:00):
so it was more of, if it wasn't likethis predicting of the future, it was
more like, these are things I alreadyknew and it gave me confirmation.
So I was feeling really seen and heardand kind of understood why I was going
through this very intense time, insteadof trying to like explain it away,
which is what I think we try to do.

(21:23):
Right.
We want to know why versus like,Hey, this is what's happening
for you personally in the cosmos.
This might be why you'refeeling some of these things.
Or to your

Becks (21:32):
last one, I was sorry to interrupt you.
No, no, go ahead.
Go ahead.
Um, or to your masculine, masculine side,I love what you're saying as far as, you
know, being able to control and, you know, you, you were an athlete like controlling
and very, you know, strong headed, you'rea Leo, so stubborn, you know, all of
those things that are kind of drivingyour life at that time, and then learning

(21:54):
to surrender and trust and listen.
It is, that's challenging.
I'm a very dominant personality.
So I feel like you're likespeaking to my soul right now.
Yeah.

Kambria Davis (22:05):
If y'all were to pull some of my journeys managers, which I'm
actually still close to a handful of them.
Yeah.
They probably have the very, Like themost incredible journey of watching me
be a district manager come in like thesestores on fire have the highest expected.
We were the number one district inthe company for a long time, you know,

(22:28):
like out of seven, yeah, 75 districts.
And we held the records and allof these statistics and then to
now be like, you guys, it's okay.
Just like be patient and the answerswill come and you're going to trust and
actually Totally just breathe and likeintuitively you're going to know what

(22:48):
to do instead of go out there and forcethe outcome They're kind of like what?
That's

Just Blane (22:56):
super awesome about some of this this uh this star stuff this um, this
astrology stuff because yeah Because i'vebeen over here Do you think i'm usually
pretty quick now i've got this Real close.
I've got it.
But look, something's out of whack here.
What you got Blane?
Oh yeah.
You know, I'm one of these, youknow, speed twisters here with,

(23:18):
with the, the, the Rubik's Cube.
But not lately.
I, but I feel like there's somethinggoing on in the, in the, The
stratosphere or whatever they call it.
What is, what's goingon out there, Kambria?

Kambria Davis (23:28):
Definitely in the stratosphere.
Yes, you are on the stratosphere.
I'm going to add that.
I'm going to add that.
I call, yeah, it's the planet balls.
That's what I like to say.
It's around the moon andthe planet balls in the sky.
Okay.

Just Blane (23:42):
Um, What's out of whack

Kambria Davis (23:44):
right now?
It's like everything.
Okay.
Yeah.
My week last week was

Becks (23:48):
insane, crazy.
Yes.
The things that came out ofnowhere, I'm like, I feel that.
My life was the Rubik's Cubethat you're talking about.
Yeah.

Just Blane (23:55):
I can't get it solved.
I can't get it solved.
I'm usually like, you know, 12,13 seconds, you know, I'm done.
But.
Yeah.
Not right now.
I'm just,

Kambria Davis (24:03):
it's, it's.
So.
There, there's a reason for that.
So great lead in from March 25th, wehad a lunar eclipse and basically, so
I like to try to keep things digestibleMarch 25th to about April 26th.
So one month, everyone breathe, slow down, be patient, take

(24:24):
a deep breath, be patient.
Yes.
And understand that.
Energetically, things are veryintense above us, which will
translate that energy to us.
Things are very intense.
Things are going to feel rushed.
Um, so a couple of things, we, we arein a clip season, which happens every

(24:48):
year, twice a year, but this one happensto be on the Aries and Libra access.
So Aries represents individual self,Libra represents others and partnership.
That's it.
So now what we have between, sothe, the, uh, eclipse season is
between March 25th and April 8th.

(25:09):
So it's a little shorter.
So between these two seasons, you're going to see a lot of
things coming up about myself, myboundaries, what's important to me.
How do I want to live my life?
What's happening for me?
What's, what are therelationships that are working?
And then also others.
Right.
And when we think relationships, not just intimate partner, it's
friend, it's business, it's ourrelationship to mother earth, it's

(25:32):
our relationship to the cosmos.
So we're in this position oflooking at self and other.
Okay.
And that always, in my opinion, Ariesand Libra can often stir up the most
in us because we are still human beingsthat are in constant relation to other
human beings and everything around us.
Yep.
So that's one aspect.

(25:53):
Okay.
And that's intense as is eclipse season isalways big from any astrology standpoint.
You really prepare for eclipse.
Also things that happen during eclipseswill bring things to the surface.
Sometimes that we didn't want to see.
So the stuff that's working, we'relike, yeah, let's go roll stuff.

(26:15):
That's not working.
We're like, Oh, thatis really not working.
And it becomes veryclear in eclipse season.
So my advice for people, if theychoose to choose into, you know,
looking at the cosmos during thistime is don't turn a blind eye.
What comes up in eclipse season isbig information for you, even if
we don't want to accept it, Ooh,

Becks (26:37):
that's pretty profound.
What's going on?
And let's, you know, take a deepdive into all of that stuff.
Good or bad, positive or negative.
It's a great time for.
You know, I guess introspectionand then taking a look at that and
maybe creating a plan for change.

Kambria Davis (26:52):
Totally.
Or sit with it for a minute.
Yeah.
And that's intense energy all on its own.
And then we, uh, currently, sotoday, which is actually Monday, but
people will hear this on Wednesday.
Mercury goes into retrograde andI love, love this transit because.
It is such a joke and such ameme on all the social media.

(27:15):
Yeah, it's Mercury

Just Blane (27:16):
in microwave.
What?
And

Kambria Davis (27:18):
what?
Yeah, Gatorade in the microwave.
Yes.
Yeah, yes.
So let me just, you know, put allof that to rest and let you know
what Mercury in retrograde means.
So to your point, Blane, When Mercurygoes into retrograde, which happens three
or four times every year, I see it asthe cosmos gift to us because when, when

(27:39):
Mercury is going direct and it's movingforward, it's not actually moving forward
or back, but that's a whole other topic.
But when Mercury is in retrograde,it appears from the naked eye on
earth to be moving in reverse.
So just think about driving.
If I'm driving forward, Idrove to Blane's house today.
If I'm driving in, you know, forwardinto Blane's house, no big deal.

(28:00):
It takes me eight minutes.
Okay?
When Mercury's in retrograde, you canstill get where you're going, but now
you are forced to drive in reverse.
You're driving your car in reverse.
So I could still drive to Blane'shouse, but now I have to put
it in reverse and go that way.
How much longer is itgonna take me to get there?
Oh, yeah.

Becks (28:19):
Okay.
That's a

Kambria Davis (28:20):
great analogy.
Yeah, so when Mercury is inretrograde, it's retro, re.
So we are going to reflect, reassess, okay, any, any word that starts with re,
that is what we want to do in retrograde.
So we want to retry something.
Mercury retrograde is not usually theideal time to start something brand new.

(28:42):
It's a time to reassess or reflecton something that you've done
before that maybe didn't work out.
Okay.
Interesting.
Alright.

Just Blane (28:52):
Okay.
There's a lot to think about.
We got a lot to digest.
Yeah.
Yeah.
A lot to learn.

Kambria Davis (28:58):
And when you're driving in reverse, I'm going to
notice houses or restaurants or stopsigns that when I'm in autopilot
driving forward, I don't even notice.
Right?
Yeah.
So it's, that's a period of reflection.
So that's where also Becks, you saidsomething about, man, everything is
just feeling you can't do the Rubik'scube because you're driving in reverse.

(29:21):
Right?

Just Blane (29:23):
It's burst off.
And that was, I mean,

Becks (29:29):
I guess for me, my takeaway after hearing that would like,
give yourself some patience, give it some time, like breathe.
Breathe.
You know, and get through the next, what did we say, till the 24th?
April 24th?

Kambria Davis (29:43):
Well, technically it goes back forward.
Um, it stations, uh, direct on the 26th.
Okay.
So I like, I like to give a little day, like I'm, I'm not a hard black and white
person when it comes to specific transitsbecause I think the energetics remain.
So April 27th is when itwill head back direct.
So we have two big things.

(30:04):
We have a clip season that we're inright now on top of mercury retrograde.
And like, so it's not a timethat, yeah, it's not a time
to, it's not a time to fear.
It's a time to understand that a lotof what we're doing might take longer.
It might be more difficult.
You might run into more hiccupsthan you expected to have.
So.
It is the universe kind of in, likeI said, in my opinion, a gift to

(30:27):
force us to slow down, to forceus to reflect and remember, right?
So this is a time to say, okay, cool.
What did I do?
You know, what did I try to launchlast year that didn't work or
what was this new behavior or thispattern or whatever that I wanted to
kick into gear and I didn't do it.
Let me review somethingthat didn't work out.
And maybe.

(30:49):
Figure out why during Mercury Retrograde.
So it's a reflective period.
It's not a period to be upset and madand all my life's gone to, you know,
it's gone or whatever, if you have toblock that out, sorry, but you know,
it's like, oh man, my life's over.
No, it's just.
It's a slowdown period andpatience, patience, patience is
huge for the next four weeks.

(31:10):
Oh,

Becks (31:10):
good.
I have none.
I guess I better learn it.
So,

Just Blane (31:14):
I mean, all right.
Wow.
It's going to be a rough, it's goingto be a rough four weeks over here.

Kambria Davis (31:23):
Yes.
It is intense.
That is for sure.
But that also helps usto know, okay, cool.
Things are going to be more intense, more reactive, harder to do longer.
Right.
And so then it just, if, when do wehave that awareness that it gives us a
little bit of opportunity and to knowthat we'll not always be this way.
I

Just Blane (31:41):
love that.
Yeah, appreciate you jumping on.
You got anything else youwant to hit before we get out

Kambria Davis (31:46):
