Stephen and Joe share their devotionals from Matthew 8.

When approaching the work of God we need to use our heart (prayer) and our hands (service).
We are tempted, when things are going well, to stop praying. Let's follow the example of Ezra who leaned into prayer.
When we harbor anger and bitterness against someone else we are building our own gallows.
This week we are releasing one podcast for the whole week. The common thread in these chapters is that God is at work in bureaucratic state. Don't forget about our Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, 4-6PM.

In Christ, our filthy rags are removed and we are adorned in robes of righteousness!
The people of Jerusalem were living in nice homes while the Temple was in ruins. We need to think carefully to make sure we are not neglecting God's work.
Just because you and in the will of God doesn't mean everything will be easy.
What ever you need, God can provide.
One thing we can all agree on is that Christ will come to judge the living and the dead.
The Nations might rage but God laughs
May no charge be found against you.
