(00:00):
And the Check A Pro Radio Show starts now! I'm taking what they're giving because
I'm working for a living.
Hey, hey, hey everybody, it's Check A Pro Joe. Welcome to my show,
the Check A Pro Radio Show.
It is so great to have you here today.
Hey, I want everybody who's listening to listen up if you consume water.
I know that sounds like a silly thing.
(00:22):
However, the water here in the the Jacksonville-St. Augustine area could be better.
So I brought on a guest here to the Checker Pro Radio Show.
His name is Tom Noland from Lickety Split to talk about our water quality and
how we can make it better. Hey, Tom, how are you?
Good, Joe. How are you doing today, buddy? Hey, I'm living the dream.
(00:44):
Thank you so much for joining me today.
My listeners and I really appreciate this. It's so important for us to take care of our homes.
This is a home improvement show, but also ourselves.
And I don't get to talk to a lot of home service professionals about their own health.
It's usually about the home's health, like a new roof, a good foundation,
(01:05):
getting the siding cleaned or working on the plumbing or the HVAC system.
But we're going to hit two things at once. We're going to be talking about how
to extend the life of your appliances,
how to have to clean your shower doors less, how you're going to have better
smelling clothes and softer clothes and how you may extend your life.
(01:28):
All right. So let's talk about the water here in the Jacksonville,
St. Augustine area. Could be better, right? Yes. Could be a lot better.
The Jacksonville, St. Augustine market has some of the hardest water in the area.
We have the average grain of hardness per gallon in the Jacksonville,
St. Augustine market is up to 20 grains of hardness.
(01:50):
What does that mean? Just to put that in perspective, anything over six grains,
those are the minerals inside the water that come from the earth.
So anything over nine grains is considered extremely hard.
And the average grains per gallon here is actually 20 grains.
I want everyone to listen up because Tom has brought a deal to you, my listener today.
(02:14):
This is fantastic, but only 10 of you are going to get this.
It's a limited offer. You can't find this deal on the Lickety Split website.
Feel free to go there, but you're not going to get this. This is a special Checker
Pro Radio Show offer today.
Number one, you can get a free water test. This is ordinarily $189.
Absolutely free. There is no obligation. I'm going to give out Tom's number.
(02:38):
Call now, 904-606-1776.
That's 904-606-1776. If you didn't get the phone number, don't worry.
We're going to be giving it out throughout the hour here on Check A Pro Radio. Again, 904-606-1776.
(03:02):
But not only are you going to get a free water test, which, Tom,
that's going to help people understand their hardness level, correct?
Yes, it'll give them their hardness. It'll give them the impurities that are
in the water, the chlorine, things of that nature. So not only are you going
to get the free water test with all of that, if you need a water softener,
(03:24):
you're going to get a fantastic deal.
Tom, can I talk about this? Because this is an unreal deal.
Yeah, go for it. Okay. And correct me if I'm wrong, Tom, because like I said, this is unreal.
Tom has a quality water softener that he sells for $6,995.
I've asked him to come to the radio program today and offer the best deal he
(03:46):
can for you, my listener.
$2,000 off, only $4,995, or $59 a month.
Yeah. We have a 12-month no interest, no payment plan.
So you could buy it today and not have to pay for it for a year from now.
So 12 months, no interest, no payments, $59 a month. You want to pay cash, only $49.95.
(04:08):
But wait, there is more because you're going to include a whole house carbon
filtration system as part of the water softener.
It's combined, which is a fantastic thing.
By the way, everybody, I have that in my home. I have got the water softener
and I've got the carbon filter that is part of the system.
So when the water comes in, it gets soft and you don't smell the chlorine and
(04:32):
the chloramine and all that bad stuff, right?
It smells normal, like a bottle of water would smell, right?
That's right. Carbon filter is going to remove all those man-made impurities.
The softener removes the hardness, but now we have all these things that they
disinfect the water with.
And when they do that, they leave byproducts, right?
(04:52):
And something like trihalomethane, which according to the EPA is carcinogenic, right?
So if you don't have a carbon filter, then your body becomes the filter.
Yeah. We hear that a lot. We hear that with water and we also hear it with air
filtration in your home.
If you aren't filtering your water, you are the filter and you don't want that.
(05:15):
The body's amazing though.
It does filter things out, but you want to be able to have it pre-filtered so
your body doesn't have to worry about these free radicals that are coming into your body.
You don't want to end up getting cancer or other problems. There's a lot of bugs in the water.
Speaking of that, we talked about the $2,000 off the water softener and the
(05:39):
whole house carbon filtration, $59 a month, $2,000 off.
But Tom is offering a reverse osmosis under sink water drinking system.
So an RO system, reverse osmosis, that takes like almost every little bug out
of the water before you drink it.
(06:01):
So the whole house water filtration system, the carbon filter,
that's great for water everywhere. When you take a shower, do your clothes.
But if you want to get the best water, you can have your own water filtration
plant at your sink with an RO system, reverse osmosis, $1,795,
free today if you purchase the water softener. This is getting better and better.
(06:25):
Talk about the advantages of having an RO system.
Well, an RO system is actually the only way to get purified water.
So when you buy a bottle of water from these water companies,
that's what they're doing. They're purifying the water.
The problem with that is is that they're putting it in a plastic bottle.
And those plastic bottles can actually leach into the bottle,
(06:48):
and then you end up ingesting it.
Exactly. They say that the average person has... I've heard this.
I don't know if it's true.
The average person in America at a certain age has as much plastic as a credit
card in their body, which I find hard to believe. But I'll tell you something interesting. I have.
Decided to not buy the water at the store in the plastic bottle anymore.
(07:11):
And I use my reverse osmosis system at the sink, which is very convenient for my drinking water.
But even when I'm making my tea or coffee, I'll use that water first.
It's almost free, right? So let's explain how inexpensive it is to produce your own filtered water.
You have to pay the city for the water, or if you're on a well,
(07:34):
that water's coming in, that water's next to nothing.
It doesn't cost much per gallon at all. I mean, you can hardly measure a gallon
of water in terms of cost.
It goes through a filtration system.
There's multiple filters in this reverse osmosis system.
And now you have basically the same purified water you would buy at the store
(07:54):
in a plastic bottle. It's not spring water.
There's a difference. There's purified water and spring water.
When you buy that water in the store that says purified water,
that's just city water that they've run through their reverse osmosis system and they sell it to you.
That's right. All they do is run it through the same thing that I will put underneath
your kitchen sink, which you'll have a separate tap for.
(08:15):
And then they put it in a bottle. But again, like we said, the bottle is the
problem because then it leaches all kinds of impurities back into the water after they purified it.
So the only way to get true pure water is with an RO system.
The carbon filter and the softener is going to remove the minerals and all the man-made impurities.
But the only way to get true, pure drinking water is to run it through an RO system.
(08:39):
Okay, it all starts off with your free water test, a $189 value, absolutely free.
Only 10 of my listeners are going to get this. Here's the phone number, 904-606-1776.
Okay.
Again, 904-606-1776. That is the phone number to get your free water test. That's where it starts.
(09:05):
However, only the 10 people who call for the free water test will be eligible
for $2,000 off the water softener, not $69.95, only $49.95, or $59 a month if
that's what you'd like to pay.
That includes a free whole house carbon filtration system. Your whole house
is going to have better water.
(09:26):
And then on top of that, under your sink in your kitchen, you're going to get
a reverse osmosis system absolutely free. It's a drinking water system.
You can use it for your tea, your coffee, just drinking water.
You don't need those plastic containers anymore, those plastic bottles that
you buy at the store. You also save a lot on your back.
Those 32 bottle packs are pretty big, right? Right. That's ordinarily $17.95.
(09:51):
Tom's brought the deal. It's free today if you buy the water softener.
Tom, I'm going to run through some math here because it's phenomenal.
I mean, this really is about a half price deal when you do this.
So it's $69.95 for the water softener, $2,000 off today.
So it's only $49.95. You're going to give them a free reverse osmosis drinking
(10:14):
water system valued at $17.95, and the water test valued at $189 for you guys to come out.
So that's $3,984 off, off for a net value, a net value of $3,011.
So this is a no-brainer, but what's even better than that is you can get all of that for $59 a month.
(10:36):
That's right. We set up special financing with a partner that,
and as a matter of fact, When you call in to set your appointment,
make sure you tell them you want to take advantage of the financing.
The call center representative will be able to take your information over the
phone and get you pre-approved before we ever come out.
Lickety Split is a fantastic home services company right here in Jacksonville, St. Augustine area.
(10:58):
Call now, 904-606-1776.
Again, 904-606-1776.
When we go to break in a few moments, that's when a lot of people call.
So the number of 10 callers is going to go down. It always does.
Always, Tom, by the end of the program, there'll be no more offers left.
(11:21):
This is the best offer Tom has ever offered to my listeners on the radio program. It is phenomenal.
Call 904-606-1776. If you're driving, do not drive and call.
Okay? Pull over and call 904-606-1776.
(11:44):
Let's recap this before the break. I'm going to get your water tested for free,
ordinarily $189, absolutely free.
One of Tom's technicians is going to come out, and they're going to use a water
test that only they have to test hardness and impurities in your water.
(12:05):
You're going to save on bottled water if you buy the water softener,
by the way, which in many cases you'll need because you're going to get a reverse
osmosis drinking water system for your kitchen. And that is phenomenal. I've got one of those.
You're not going to smell chlorine anymore because you're going to get the whole
house carbon filtration system. It's fantastic.
We're going to go to a break right now. Once again, here is the phone number, 904-606-1776.
(12:32):
When we come back, In fact, Tom and I are going to talk more about having better water.
Missed part of today's radio show? No problem. Go to CheckerPro.com to hear
the podcast of all our radio program.
CheckerPro.com. CheckerPro Joe here. Did you know that our water in the greater Jacksonville and St.
(12:52):
Augustine area just isn't up to par?
We have hard water and contaminants in our water. If you're not sure about your
water quality, now would be a great time to get your free water test from Lickety Split.
Ordinarily $189 today, absolutely free. There's a limited amount of these, so you must call now.
(13:14):
904-606-1776. Once again, 904-606-1776.
If you think your water is hard. If you're replacing your appliances on a regular basis.
If you have that chlorine smell in your water, call now to get your free water
test from Lickety Split.
Only a few of my listeners are going to get this today here on my radio show.
(13:37):
Call now, 904-606-1776.
Again, 904-606-1776.
And back here on the Checker Pro Radio Show, they call me Checker Pro Joe,
(13:58):
and I've been doing this for about 20 years, helping my listeners get connected
with pre-qualified home service professionals.
These are the best ones we can find. We check insurance licenses and references
on all of our contractors.
And today I've got Tom Nolan from Lickety Split. You probably heard about Lickety
(14:18):
Split, a big home service professional provider here in Jacksonville, St. Augustine.
Tom, welcome back. Thank you, brother. Thanks for having me.
Yeah, it is so great to have you here. Thank you so much for offering this to my listeners.
A lot of people don't understand the state of their water, and they presume
that the water that's coming out of their tap is safe because the government is supplying it.
(14:44):
This is municipal water, and it's
being supplied by the government in most cases unless you have a well.
And if you have a well, don't tune out because you need to listen even more
because in many cases, your water needs to be treated even more than what the local government does.
I'm going to give out your number again, Tom, to make sure that everybody who's
(15:05):
listening has a chance to get one of these offers. It's 904-606-1776.
Again, a little slower.
904-606-1776.
We started off with 10 of these offers, the free water test.
(15:28):
There's only eight left. So you've got to call now, 904-606-1776.
So when you go into a house, Tom, and you turn on that tap in the kitchen or
the bathroom, in the laundry room,
before you even test the water, you can often smell what smells like swimming
(15:50):
pool water, can't you? Yeah, you can smell the chlorine.
And not only that, you can see all the scaling and buildup of minerals left
on the fixtures and in the sink, the ring around the tub, the ring around the toilet.
We can see all those things. We can see it on our dishes because scaling is
the buildup of minerals after the water is gone.
(16:12):
It also causes a lot of stress to our water heaters. Oh, that's a great point.
So for those of you who have a water heater that sounds like it's going to take
off, it literally will bang if you have too much sediment.
So actually, believe it or not, if you were to have the water heater taken out
and you'd have a professional open up the bottom of it, you'd see what looks like rocks in there.
(16:38):
Yeah. And that water heater, Tom, as you know, can be at least twice as heavy
often after it's pulled out. maybe it's been a service for eight,
10, 12 years, and it's had hard water in the home, there's a sediment.
And what happens is when the water heater heats up, this isn't always dangerous,
but you want to have this looked at, by the way.
So when the water heats up in your water heater, it starts to rumble,
(17:01):
literally can shake your house.
That's right. Yeah. Because in the bottom of it, it's got two elements in it.
And the bottom element of the water heater typically ends up being submerged in scale and minerals.
So therefore, that also reduces the efficiency of the water heater.
It takes much longer to actually heat the water up.
So when you find yourself running out of hot water.
(17:23):
Those are the things that is causing it. Hard water causes all kinds of damage
to your appliances in the home, the hot water heater, and it could even possibly
void the warranty on the water heater, especially tankless water heaters because they don't have a tank.
So then the hardness actually scales up and jams up the flow of water through
that tankless water heater.
(17:45):
I've heard some people say, hey, Joe, why do I have to replace my dishwasher
every three to five years? I'm like, you shouldn't. You should buy a quality
dishwasher and put quality water through it.
If you're putting hard water into your dishwasher, number one,
your dishwasher isn't going to last as long.
And number two, you're going to get etching on your glasses.
(18:07):
It's not good for your dishes.
Things come out spotty and you don't necessarily need to buy these after product
products at the store that that say, hey, add this to your dishwasher with the
detergent to get rid of spots.
No, no, no, no, no, no. Let's start at the beginning. Start with better water. Right, Tom?
(18:29):
Yeah, let's fix the real problem, right? We use all these different solutions
and soaps and lotions and all these things we apply to our body and things that
we apply to our appliances in order to be a Band-Aid on top of the real problem.
The real problem that any plumbing call that I get into my building,
and we book hundreds of calls a week, calls by hard water.
(18:53):
It causes the water heaters to malfunction.
It causes the shower valves to fail. It causes fixtures to fail, toilets.
And then it also does a lot of damage to your ice maker and your refrigerator.
Refrigerator so you know it even it'll build up
in the drains people's drains will back up
because you know when you got an older home of
(19:14):
cast iron pipes you know it causes a lot of corrosion to
the pipes themselves yeah you don't want your house to have a stroke or heart
attack i was listening to you tom and i was thinking about what my doctor says
instead of putting you on that cholesterol medication to make sure that your
internal pipes inside your body are open and we We want to have good blood pressure.
Why don't we work on the diet?
(19:36):
Isn't it the same thing? The diet of your home should be good water.
Yes, that's right. So, yeah, if you don't have, if you don't,
if you got hard water, you're going to destroy all your appliances and fixtures over time.
You're going to replace those prematurely. It's going to cost you more money
to operate your water heater.
It's going to shorten the life of it and could potentially even void the warranty.
(19:56):
Everybody who's listening, call now. There's only eight of these offers left.
If you've just tuned in, you're like, what's going on? I'm hearing some good
stuff about water. I think I've got a problem with water at my home.
Good news. You can get your water tested for free today by Lickety Split.
$189 ordinarily. Free today. You've got to call right now.
(20:18):
904-606-1776.
904-606-1776. I'll be giving out the number again,
but not only are you going to get a free water test, complete water test to
find out what's in your water, how hard it is, and if it's a recommendation
for you to get a water softener.
(20:38):
If you need the water softener, this is a quality water softener for not the $6,995 normal price.
I asked Tom to bring a great deal to the program and he did.
Only $4,995, which is just $59 a month. All right, you can pay cash or finance
it. 12 months, no interest and no payments.
Tom, that's incredible. No interest and no payments for 12 months.
(21:02):
That's right. We've got that special financing set up with a partner.
All you've got to do when you call in is say you'd like to take advantage of
that financing, and our call center representatives will be glad to take your
information and get you pre-approved before we even come to your home.
So you got to call now 904-606-1776.
Not only will you get the $2,000 off for $59 a month for your new water softener,
(21:25):
this includes a whole house carbon filtration system.
So if you smell pool water, chlorine and that type of thing,
when you take a shower, especially, you know, you're in the shower and you've
got a warm, hot water, and it smells like.
Chlorine, which isn't good for you because once that then gets hot and it turns
to steam, now it's not only on your skin, Tom, you know that it's going into your lungs.
(21:50):
That's right. But with that carbon filter that's included with this,
that takes out all that chlorine and chloramine, which is what they use to disinfect the water.
I don't know about you, but for all the ladies out there that spend a lot of
money getting their hair colored and spend a lot of time at the salon,
the last thing you want to do is come home and wash all that product out in
(22:10):
your shower with this harsh chemicals and stuff that comes through the sink in the showerhead.
So our carbon filter can remove all those impurities before they get on your
skin and get in your hair.
Yeah. You don't want to change the color of your hair. And like you said,
a lot of ladies and some men spend a lot of money on their hair today,
and you certainly don't want it doing funky things.
(22:32):
Here's the phone number, 904-606-1776.
We talked about the $2,000 off the water softener.
We talked about the whole house carbon filtration system that you're going to
throw in as part of that system.
On top of that, a reverse osmosis under sink system, an RO micro under sink system.
(22:56):
It's basically a new faucet or tap that is installed by Tom and his team.
Underneath your sink, there's this filtration system. It's just like what the
big water companies do to put it in that purified water.
You're purifying your own water with the city water or the well water you already
are bringing into your home.
(23:16):
But instead of being afraid to drink it like you are ordinarily from the tap,
you're like, wait a second, this is going through a multi-stage system underneath my sink.
By the way, Tom gave it to you for free. You can drink it without worry.
That's right. We put that RO system right underneath your sink.
So with the carbon filter, it actually provides clean water,
(23:39):
but it doesn't purify it.
So in order to drink it, we need to purify it. But that's what those bottled
water companies are doing.
They're just taking tap water, they're purifying, they're putting it in a bottle.
Problem is now we have the bottle and the bottle leaches impurities back into the water.
Yeah. So at home, when you get your reverse osmosis system for your drinking
water, make sure you don't put it in plastic, put it in your glass or your ceramic mug,
(24:04):
cup, glass, or put it in a metal aluminum type travel mug, but don't put it in plastic.
That's one of the things I want to talk about. You do not need to put any more plastic in your body.
You do not need to buy more plastic water at the store.
You're going to get an under the sink reverse osmosis system absolutely free
(24:25):
when you purchase your water softener.
Now, you don't know if you need a water softener. That's fine because Tom and
his crew come out and check this out for free.
He says it costs $189 ordinarily. For my listeners on the show today, it is free.
Free. A free water test. I'll tell you everything about your water.
Call now, 904-606-1776.
(24:49):
Oh, I must say, there is no obligation.
Tom and his team are going to tell you what's in your water.
It'll be up to you to make a determination if you want to continue living like
that or not. If it's bad, if it's good water, Tom, you're going to learn something
because a lot of the water in our area isn't that good.
Yeah, I would say most anybody who's on any kind of municipal water,
(25:10):
like I said earlier, you know, the average grains of hardness per gallon is over 20 here.
Anything over six grains per gallon is considered hard. We'll come out and we'll
test that and you'll know where you're at. All right. Call now.
904-606-1776. We'll be right back right after this. Stay tuned.
(25:33):
Missed part of today's radio show? No problem. Go to checkapro.com to hear the

Augustine area just isn't up to par?
We have hard water and contaminants in our water.
If you're not sure about your water quality, now would be a great time to get
(25:57):
your free water test from Lickety Split.
Ordinarily $189 today, absolutely free. There's a limited amount of these, so you must call now.
904-606-1776. Once again, 904-606-1776.
(26:17):
If you think your water is hard, if you're replacing your appliances on a regular
basis, if you have that chlorine smell in your water, call now to get your free
water test from Lickety Split.
Only a few of my listeners are going to get this today here on my radio show.
Call now, Now, 904-606-1776.
Again, 904-606-1776.
(26:46):
Back here on Checker Pro Radio. For those of you who did not get Tom's number
at Lickety Split, here it is, 904-606-1776.
Again, 904-606-1776. If you've
just started listening to the program today, you just tuned in, well,
congratulations, because you're going to learn all about the water in your home.
(27:10):
Tom, welcome back to the show.
Hey, Joe. Thanks for having me, buddy. Yeah. It's great to have you here.
I love having a professional such as yourself educating my listeners.
It's so important that people understand what's going on in their home.
I know at Lickety Split, you guys do all kinds of different things,
but I've always said it starts with what's going into the house.
(27:33):
So if someone needs a water heater, for instance, well, you guys can handle that.
But wouldn't it be nice if before you put the new water heater in,
Tom, Tom, the water was a better quality water so your customers could have a better experience.
Yes, it would. And the reason that we're there replacing that water heater quite
often prematurely is because of the hard water.
(27:55):
Those water heaters get filled up with sediment and the minerals that are left
over from the water. As it boils off in the bottom, it makes it less efficient.
And if we're putting in a tankless water heater, it will even void the manufacturer's warranty. guarantee.
Tom, I don't think a lot of people think about their water quality.
Do you? I mean, I think they kind of take it for granted.
Yeah, I know this because of all the plumbing service calls that we run on a
(28:19):
day-to-day basis for appliances and fixtures in the home that are failing.
And people quite often don't know why they fail.
And it's because they have hard water and it's leaving behind scale and the
buildup of minerals and deposits on the fixtures and appliances after the water is gone.
There's no excuse for you to not know where your water stands.
(28:43):
Call now to get a free water test, ordinarily $189 from Lickety Split,
absolutely free if you're one of the next six callers.
We started off with 10, Tom, as you know, There's only six available now.
Call now, 904-606-1776.
(29:03):
904-606-1776. Be one of the next six callers to get your water tested.
Here's what I love about this. There's no obligation.
Tom and his team are going to come out. They're going to test your water,
and then they're going to tell you what's going on with it. So every year, Tom, I go to the doctor.
See, at my age, it's just a smart thing. I go and I get a checkup and he runs tests.
(29:29):
He looks at my blood. And you know what he said one time when I was in there?
And this wasn't from my blood so much, but it was from other tests.
He said, your blood pressure is a little high.
Oh, what's the recommendation, doctor?
Oh, I should do this. Some lifestyle things. And I should be on this medication
to keep my blood pressure in check so I don't check out prematurely.
(29:50):
When Tom comes out and checks out your water, it's like going to the doctor, right?
The doctor's going to say, or Tom's going to say, hey, look,
if you do this, your water heater will last longer.
Your dishwasher will last longer. Your washing machine will last longer.
You won't have spotty glass doors on your shower.
Your clothes will last longer.
(30:12):
By just taking this prescription, which is a new water softener.
Yeah, that's right. You know, and even people on well water,
you talked about the clothes.
You know, when I was a kid, we lived out in the country and we had well water.
And, you know, sometimes the clothes would just be red.
You know, the actual water from the ground can have iron in it and actually stain your clothes.
(30:35):
And I've seen it ruin clothes and people spend a lot of good money on their clothes.
Not to mention your hair, right? We talked about that earlier where these impurities
in there can actually wash out the watercolor in your hair.
So it really can do a lot of damage to your body and inside your body and,
of course, all your appliances and things of that nature in your home.
There's a lot of talk today, Tom, about ultra-processed food where we take good
(30:58):
food and we add things to it to extend shelf life and make it taste better and so forth.
This is kind of the opposite. it. We're taking water if it's from a well,
which is very natural, and just making it better for our consumption all around.
However, though, the local government, the municipal water that comes in,
(31:22):
they have played with it.
They've processed it. Now, in all fairness, they need to because if they don't
put chlorine in there, for instance, then it's possible there could be some
outbreak of some bug and people get sick.
So they dump all this stuff in there so everyone can kind of have a fair shot.
(31:43):
But for those of us who don't want that in our bodies, those chemicals in our
bodies, when it comes in our house, we have to filter them out because we don't want to be the filter.
That's right. And because with that water softer includes the carbon filtration
and the carbon filtration is going to remove any man-made impurities.
It's going to remove the chlorine, the chloramine, which basically has ammonia
(32:07):
in it. And they use that, like you said, to disinfect the water.
When you do that, then it leaves a byproduct, right, which could be trihalomethane
or something like that, which is, according to the EPA, is carcinogenic.
Yeah, and we keep hearing about these things.
Tom, did you know that today the rate of cancer in Americans is shooting through the roof?
(32:32):
If you look back in time, even though the records weren't as good a couple hundred
years ago, a hundred years ago, people didn't get a lot of these what they call
diseases as we're getting today.
We're getting it from everything, including our water, right? There's air pollution.
I believe that there's some food pollution. Some of the ultra-processed foods
we eat really aren't as good as the natural foods.
(32:54):
But water, come on now. There's no excuse. This is really inexpensive. expensive.
I'm going to give out Tom's number, 904-606-1776. The reason why I give that
out is so you can get your free water test, ordinarily $189.
904-606-1776. If you're listening to this, there's five of these offers left.
(33:21):
There's no excuse not to have the water tested.
Also, Also, for $59 a month, there's no excuse not to have soft water,
no smell of the chlorine in your home anymore, and fresh drinking water under
your sink. That's all for $59.
Because that's the offer that Tom brought. Is that correct, Tom?
(33:43):
$59 a month. Yeah, that's it.
That's it. With our special financing, we can get you a payment as low as $59 a month.
And, you know, I don't know about you, but most homes spend way more than $59
a month on bottled water.
You know, that's true. So there's 12 months, no interest, no payments,
and you're getting all this.
But on top of that, you're going to be saving money on replacing appliances
(34:09):
from your dishwasher to your water heater to your washing machine, cleaning.
You won't have to clean that glass on your shower doors as much because that
hard water – think about this, everybody.
If there's hardness in your water, it's not just clean water.
There's these little itty-bitty particles of hardness in there,
and that's what you see on your shower door. So if you're squeegeeing your door
(34:33):
every day in your shower, you won't have to, right, Tom?
Yeah, that's right, because it's leaving that scale, right? That is the buildup
of the minerals after the water is gone, which is what causes all these problems
with our water heater, our ice makers, our dishwasher.
You know, this is what causes the efficiency of our water heater to degrade.
(34:54):
It takes longer to heat the water. Anybody who's running out of hot water and
they think the hot water is failing over time, it's like it's taking longer
and longer to heat up the water.
Well, that's just because it's full of scale. It's full of minerals and stuff
in the bottom of it that's, you know, submersed our heating elements.
I like what you say. Don't be the filter. Explain to the listener what that means. Yes.
(35:19):
Your body is made up of 18% carbon. So if you don't have a carbon filter to
remove those impurities, then you're the filter, right?
So your body's going to have to deal with all these disinfecting byproducts, right?
Which we've said the EPA considers a carcinogen, right?
If you don't remove it with a filter, then your body becomes the filter.
(35:41):
And then your body has to get rid of these things. Also those plastic impurities
that you're drinking from bottle of water.
For all my friends in the Jacksonville, St. Augustine area, hope you're having a great day.
And I hope you have a better one when you get your free water test.
$189, that's not that bad, actually. The cost of a qualified technician to come
(36:02):
out to your house and then do the test itself can be expensive.
So that's a good price to begin with, Tom.
Yeah, that's right. Yeah. So, you know, normally we charge that to come out and do a water test.
We're going to waive that for a limited time when we come out to test your water.
Even if you have a water softener or some type of filter inside your home now,
it might not be the right thing. It might not be carbon.
(36:23):
It might not be operating properly.
So we'll do a test before and after the softener to determine if your existing
softener is even working.
Tom, that's a good point. Often people who are listening will say,
hey, I bought a house that has this old system in it.
They said it it was a water softener. I don't know much. I'm just a homeowner.
(36:45):
I've got this thing in a utility closet or in the garage or outside.
I don't even know if it works. So you guys can come out and take a look at it.
Maybe you can get it working or maybe it needs to be replaced.
And honestly, if it is something that someone else installed like 10,
15 years ago, it's time to start over.
But the good news is, is you have a place for it and it was already meant to be there.
(37:08):
So that's That's a good indication of someone invested in it already.
It means that that house needed it.
Yeah, that's right. Yeah. At some point, somebody did a water test, right?
You know, so if you're the second or third homeowner of that house,
if you see one of those sitting in your garage or the utility closet,
you know, and you haven't even thought about that thing since you've been there,
more than likely, it's probably not working, right?
So we're going to have to come out, test the water, figure out what's going
(37:31):
on, and probably have to upgrade that to a more efficient model,
you know, and more modern.
Don't be the filter. Get a filter. You're going to get a whole house carbon
filter that's built in to your new water softener.
Ordinarily $6,995.
Not a bad price. I asked Tom to bring a deal.
(37:54):
$2,000 off, $4,995, or just $59 a month.
12 months, no interest, no payments.
I said, what else can you do for my listeners? He said, it's important for them
to have great drinking water, Joe. I'm like, good.
So can you throw in a reverse osmosis under the sink system for their drinking water? He said, sure.
(38:17):
Ordinarily, $1,795. It's free if you buy the water softener.
Okay so you're getting a free water test you're getting two thousand dollars
off your water softener and you're getting a free reverse osmosis for under
your sink in your kitchen,
17.95 off absolutely free that's just
a phenomenal offer thank you tom call now 904-606-1776 that is the magic number
(38:42):
to get a hold of tom and his team over at lickety split 904-606-1776 there's
There's only four of these offers left.
We're going to a break. We'll be right back right after this right here on Checker Pro Radio.
Stand by. We'll be right back.
Music.
(39:05):
Missed part of today's radio show? No problem. Go to checkapro.com to hear the
podcast of all our radio program.
Checkapro.com. Checkapro Joe here. Did you know that our water in the greater Jacksonville and St.
Augustine area just isn't up to par?
We have hard water and contaminants in our water.
If you're not sure about your water quality, now would be a great time to get
(39:30):
your free water test from Lickety Split. split.
Ordinarily $189 today, absolutely free. There's a limited amount of these, so you must call now.
904-606-1776. Once again, 904-606-1776.
(39:50):
If you think your water is hard, if you're replacing your appliances on a regular
basis, if you have that chlorine smell in your water, call now to get your free
water test from Lickety Split.
Only a few of my listeners are going to get this today here on my radio show.
Call now, 904-606-1776.
Again, 904-606-1776.
(40:16):
Hey, everybody. I love what I do. I help you, the homeowner,
get connected with pre-qualified home service professionals.
And today, talking to Tom Nolan from Lickety Split, and he is helping me and
you out with the education about what is coming into your home in those water pipes.
(40:37):
Hey, Tom, thanks. Hey, Joe, thanks for having me, buddy. Yeah,
it's so great to have you here.
I like the education part. I mean, we could get on here and say,
hey, just call Tom at Lickety Split, and he'll give you a deal on something.
But what's nice about what we're doing today is we're really educating,
explaining to people what's going Going on.
(40:59):
And the real test to that is, is when you guys come out and give a free water
test to my listeners, seeing is believing, right?
Because when you guys do the test, they can literally see the change in the
water right there in front of them.
Yeah, that's right. We do the water test right there in front of you,
and we'll know what your grains of hardness is, any impurities that are in the
(41:21):
water, total dissolved solids,
things of this nature, so that you know what you're putting into your appliances,
what you're putting on your body, and what you're ingesting.
I'm not sure which is more important. Why should I do? I do know what's more
important, the water I'm bringing into my body, right?
I don't want to be the filter. I'd I'd rather replace my dishwasher every year
with poor water than be sick and die young.
(41:44):
So it's important for two things. I will tell you, a lot of people think more
about money than they do their own health. It's just evident in America.
But here's the good thing. You can kill two birds with one stone today by calling
904-606-1776. 976-904-606-1776.
(42:09):
Two birds, one stone? Yeah. You can take care of your home and your health.
So Tom, let's dig into it. A free water test is going to determine how hard the water is.
Now, the hardness is really bad for your home. It's bad for your water heater.
It's bad for your pipes. It's bad for your dishwasher, your washing machine,
(42:29):
anything that has water running through it.
It's not really good for you, but I'll tell you what's really not good for you.
That tap water you're taking in. If you're ingesting the tap water in your home,
whether it's well water or city water, it's not good. And, you know,
it's not good because you're buying the bottled water at the store and you're
(42:49):
spending a lot of money on it.
And there could be plastic floating around in it when it gets really hot.
When, you know, before it's delivered or it's in a warehouse,
it could be over 100 degrees heating up in that thing.
Have you ever had a hot bottle of water? Tommy, if you get into the truck,
open that bottle and you're like, oh, this thing's hot.
That's tough. And, you know, those those thousands of bottles of water that
(43:13):
are sitting on the shelves are sitting in warehouses. Right.
So we don't even know where that came from.
And here's the other thing. You know, is anybody sitting there actually watching
these people fill these bottles up with purified water?
No. Right. So, hey, why don't we control our own destiny, control our own outcome?
You know, like you said, hey, we can replace the dishwasher.
We can replace the water heater. Going to cost you some money.
(43:34):
But, hey, we can't replace our body. it. We only got one of them.
So let's drink pure water. Let's purify it ourselves in our home.
Right. And we're including that at no additional charge. We're going to install
one of those for you when you get the softener carbon combo.
Right. And we're going to come and install an RO system for you.
So you and your family can drink clean, purified water.
(43:55):
And we don't have to go buy water bottles at the store.
I guarantee you anybody spending this drinking bottled water is spending more
than $60 a month in water right now. I'll tell you what's good about this.
You're going to be saving so much money on your drinking water.
You're not even going to pay for the reverse osmosis system at your home under
(44:17):
your sink that Tom's going to install. He's going to give that to you absolutely free.
Now, if you don't want a water softener, then you're going to have to pay $17.95
for the reverse osmosis. That's fine.
Still a great deal. You're going to save a lot of money, a lot of money on your water over time.
But why not get it for free and get the whole house carbon filter so all the
(44:38):
water in the house starts off good?
Actually, I want to talk a little bit about that, Tom, because people might
be confused. Well, wait a second. If the whole house has filtration system,
why do I need to filter it at the sink?
And let me start off and then you can fill in some blanks here because I have this in my home.
So I've got at the water softener with a built-in carbon filter.
So that means every drop of water coming into my home is filtered through the carbon filter.
(45:02):
The carbon filter is similar to what you might have in your refrigerator.
So if you're good and you replace the carbon filter in your fridge,
that is the exact same thing that Tom's going to put in for your whole house.
So it's not just your fridge, it's everything. But it doesn't take out all the
impurities, something that could It could make you sick, for instance.
(45:25):
That's what an RO system does, reverse osmosis. So if you're going to drink
it, it's the reverse osmosis at your sink.
Okay, that's easy to control. But everything else coming in is filtered at a
high level with the carbon filter. How did I do, Tom?
Yeah, that's it. You got it. So, you know, we got the first stage,
which is the carbon filter, which is going to remove any man-made impurities
(45:47):
and any disinfecting byproducts that are left over, right, from those chlorine and chloramine.
And then we're going to soften the water and get it below six grains of hardness.
And so we remove all those, you know, different things and minerals that are
in the water and left behind.
And then we're going to put in that reverse osmosis, which is going to give
(46:10):
you purified water that you can actually drink that doesn't have any plastic in it.
Yeah. People have asked me before, can I connect a reverse osmosis water drinking
system to my refrigerator?
And the answer is probably, but you don't need to do that. All right.
(46:30):
The The whole house water coming in is going to be filtered by the whole house filtration system.
Right. So just like those, you know, but the thing about you said about the
refrigerator has a carbon filter.
It doesn't soften the water. So we still we still are not protecting our refrigerator
itself and the ice maker from all those, you know, minerals that are left behind by hard water.
(46:53):
So it does have a carbon filter that takes out the chlorine,
but it still leaves all those impurities. these. But the big thing is it leaves
all that hardness and all that
scale buildup in the minerals that are left behind after the water leaves.
Yeah, it's really misleading because
when you get water or ice out of your refrigerator, it might smell okay.
It might not have that smell of chlorine, but it hasn't been softened and it
(47:17):
hasn't gone through an RO system.
So you can drink the water out of a carbon filter, but it's not going to protect
you as much as a reverse osmosis. Hopefully people understand that.
And if you don't quite understand, you can always go to Google and Google this stuff.
It's all out there. It just makes sense.
For those of you who are interested in getting your water tested for free,
(47:40):
a $189 value, you can get it absolutely free today. day.
There's only two of these offers left as we wind down the program in this last segment.
904-606-1776.
Easy phone number, 904-606-1776.
Get your water tested for free. If you need and or want a water softener,
(48:07):
$2,000 off, only $4,995 or $59 a month, 12 months, No interest and no payments.
Tom, thank you so much for offering that to my listeners.
And you're going to get a whole house carbon filtration system as part of that
built into your water softener just for you and a reverse osmosis under sink system.
(48:31):
It's your own water plant.
It's very efficient. It'll have multi-stage filters in there.
They last for a long time, too, and they're not that expensive to replace and
relatively easy to replace. But you're not going to pay any money up front for this system.
You're doing yourself a favor. Yeah, that's right. Because, you know,
listen, and with this special financing that we have available right now,
(48:51):
you don't even have to pay anything down for the next 12 months.
And if you wanted a low fixed monthly payment, we could get you down as low
as $59 a month. and any money that you save from buying bottled water easily pays for this.
I'll tell you this too. A lot of people who are thinking, well,
I'm going to be putting my house on the market sometime within the next year.
(49:11):
I don't know if I want to make this investment. It's going to make your house worth more.
Picture this, when someone's looking at a comparable home and they don't have
the water treatment plant that you've put into your house for next to nothing,
you're going to stand apart.
And if you market your house well, tell your realtor to put a piece of paper,
a sheet on your kitchen counter that says, we installed this because we care about our house.
(49:36):
And so our dishwasher is healthier. Our water heater is healthier. Our washing machine.
And it just goes to show, because people don't think about it,
right, Tom? They're like, I'm just thinking about how nice the kitchen and bathroom is.
And for the guy, you know, is the garage ample.
What about the arteries, the veins, the heartbeat of the house?
And if you bring that up when you market your house, it'll go for more. Yeah, that's right.
(49:58):
Because anybody that's walking in to buy a new house, older appliances knows
they're going to have to spend a bunch of money on all those appliances.
Unless potentially if they had a water softener and carbon filtration system
installed, those appliances could last longer.
And even if you've got a brand new water heater sitting there.
You know, we could potentially void the warranty on it, especially a tankless,
(50:19):
if we do not have soft water running through that appliance.
Absolutely. This is your last chance to get this. Jerry, who is our engineer
producer here at the radio show, who monitors the calls coming through the system,
says there's only one left, Tom. So people have to call right now.
904-606-1776. That is the phone number. You cannot get this deal anywhere else.
(50:47):
It's like those ads you hear, Tom, not available in stores, right?
It's not available on your website.
You need to get it now.
Special offer. Tom only had 10 of these for me because he's a friend of mine.
I asked him to bring it to my listeners and he did. Once again, Tom, thank you.
904-606-1776.
(51:10):
904-606-1776. By the way, if you have heard the show or you missed part of the
show and you want to hear the whole thing, you can actually listen to this online,
which is great, Tom.
Just go to checkapro.com, and that's where we have the radio program for you
(51:32):
to listen to as a podcast, so you can listen to it there.
904-606-1776. We're wrapping up the show. Thank you, Tom. I appreciate your
time today. Great education.
Music.
