This abuse could be sexual, emotional, social, spiritual, or physical; you were hurt by the place that should have been safe. Thinking back now does it seem off? That moment. Those moments as a child, a vulnerable teenager when the pastor touched you. When he said you were so special. Looking back as an adult now with children of your own, it begins to dawn on you that something was wrong. You would never want the minister to touch your kid or talk to your kid that way.
