Today's guest is one of New Zealand's greats.  Sir John Kirwan is a household name being an All Black great having played 63 tests for the All Blacks scoring 35 tries – one of the highest scoring players in history.   He's coached in the Auckland Blues, Italy, Japan, the Barbarians.

But it's his work in the mental health space that has been perhaps his biggest achievement (outside his family).  We talk about him speaking publicly about his mental health journey, his programme running in schools called Mitey, and his new business Groov which focuses on mental health in businesses.

At the end of the conversation, JK answers some questions which have been sent in from Fleet Managers and drivers. There are some great tips and tools throughout this conversation to improve mental health.

Note:  This episode deals with issues of anxiety, depression and suicide.  If you or anyone you know is struggling with these sorts of issues, Lifeline Aotearoa's helpline and textline provides 24/7, confidential support from qualified counsellors and trained volunteers.  text 'Help' to 4357 or call 0800 LIFELINE (0800 543 354)
