THIS EPISODE
In this episode, Rob and Vinnie sit down with Werner Mischke and Kristin Caynor to explore Ephesians 2 and the radical claim that Jesus is not only the peacemaker between God and humanity, but between all people. We unpack the biblical concept of glory as relational beauty and consider what it means to be God’s image bearers in a divided world. Kristin and Werner argue that true glory is found in relationships marked by justice, peace, and reconciliation. They show that in Ephesians 2, Jesus breaks down the walls that divide, and as His followers, we are called to do the same. This means loving our neighbors, tearing down barriers, and advocating for the dignity of all people, including, for instance, the moral imperative to stand with and feed the people of Gaza. To neglect this is to deny their humanity and abandon the ministry of reconciliation entrusted to us. Join us for a rich theological conversation with real-world urgency.
