In this very special episode, all about the importance of Sibling Connections, we have the pleasure of being joined by a member of our SCDSS Child Welfare Youth Engagement Advocates Council. Encouraging and maintaining sibling connections is integral to living out our GPS Guiding Principle of being Family-Centered and we know youth that are able to maintain connections with their siblings (and other family members) while experiencing foster care helps children and youth to maintain health bonds and attachments to their family and their community.
