Scoop of the Day

Bath Salt Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Epsom salt (soothes muscles and detoxifies)

  • ½ cup sea salt or Himalayan pink salt (adds minerals)

  • ½ cup baking soda (softens skin and neutralizes acids)

  • 10–15 drops of your favorite essential oils

Instructions:
  1. In a bowl, mix the Epsom salt, sea salt, and baking soda.

  2. Add essential oils and stir well to distribute evenly.

  3. If using dried herbs, mix them in.

  4. Store in an airtight glass jar.

  5. Use about ½ to 1 cup per bath.

DIY Essential Oil Bath Bombs

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup baking soda (softens skin, fizzes)

  • ½ cup citric acid (creates the fizz)

  • ½ cup Epsom salt (relaxes muscles)

  • ½ cup cornstarch (helps harden the bath bomb)

  • 2½ tbsp coconut oil (or another carrier oil, adds moisture)

  • ¾ tbsp water

  • 10–15 drops essential oils (choose based on your needs)

Instructions:
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and cornstarch.

  2. In a separate small bowl, mix melted coconut oil, water, essential oils, and food coloring.

  3. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, whisking continuously to prevent fizzing. The mixture should feel like damp sand and hold its shape when squeezed.

  4. Pack the mixture firmly into bath bomb molds, pressing both halves together tightly.

  5. Let the bath bombs dry in the mold for at least 24 hours before removing.

  6. Store in an airtight container and use within a few months.

DIY Nourishing Bath Oil Ingredients:
  • ½ cup carrier oil (We use Fractionated Coconut Oil)

  • 10–20 drops essential oils

Instructions:
  1. In a small glass bottle, pour your carrier oil(s).

  2. Add essential oils and shake gently to mix.

  3. If using, add vitamin E oil for extra skin benefits.

  4. Store in a dark glass bottle to preserve the potency of the essential oils.

  5. Use 1–2 tablespoons per bath and swirl the water to disperse the oils.
