THE WORD FOR YOUR DAY | John 14:26 26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you."
This verse describes the role of the Holy Spirit, also referred to as the Comforter or the Advocate, whom the Father will send in the name of Jesus. The Holy Spirit will teach the disciples all things and remind them of everything Jesus has said to them.
John 14:26 is part of Jesus' discourse with his disciples, where he promises to send the Holy Spirit to guide and instruct them after his departure. The Holy Spirit's mission is to help the disciples understand and remember Jesus' teachings, which is crucial since they did not fully grasp everything at the time of Jesus' teachings.
