This Episode is POWERFUL.

So many things came flowing out that are so important. I real gut check to see if we are really recognizing and acknowledging our true divinity, our true power to create.

How we can get sucked into feeling like we are never enough, always needing to improve and change ourselves to feel validated and worthy.

Really sit with this message and tell me how it makes you feel? Are you like me always feeling the need to strive and accomplish things, never feeling you are doing enough?

When are we going to start seeing ourselves for who we truly are?

Opening our eyes up to the love, beauty, worthiness, and wholeness we already are.

Sending you all so much love!

xo,

Chelsea

(00:07):
Hey everyone, what's up?
It's Chelsea Van Buskirkwith the Heart AF podcast.
Hope you guys are all doingwell Okay, so we're, we're
getting into the new year, right?
This week was like my first weekwhere I was kind of back on schedule.
Kids are back in school,so that's really exciting.
Um, it's not as chaotic in the house.
I got some peace, and yet I stillhave a ton of shit to clean up and do.

(00:28):
But anyway, a lot of people, Ifeel like when, um, we're talking.
You know, the whole New Year'sresolution thing, like we're
all about like a new me, right?
Like, this is gonna be anew me, a new version of me.
You know, that kind of talk, which Idon't necessarily think is bad, but
it brought up something for me that Ireally felt compelled to talk about,

(00:50):
and that is, instead of trying to changeyourself and be like somebody else, I
feel like the focus should be on beingmore you, like you need to be more YOU.
Like maybe that's realizing likewhen you're becoming a new you, it's
actually just becoming more of who youreally are in the first place, right?
Because so often we walk aroundand go about our life doing things

(01:15):
for other people or trying to besomething for other people, or trying
to be who we think we have to be.
And this is the year, this is a chance foryou, a new year, a new beginning, right?
Is a chance for you to be more you andto be more authentically you, right?
And.
In an unapologetic way, right?
Like, you don't need to apologizefor being who you are for

(01:36):
living life out loud as you are.
And the thing that it, it just, mywheels started spinning because I
know I did this to myself a lot isI'm always trying to strive for more.
I'm always trying to achievebecause I don't feel good enough.
Right.
Like I'm always thinkingof what should I be doing?
Like I literally freeze up whenpeople ask me, what do you do?
Because I don't reallyhave a solid answer.

(01:58):
There's the answer of I manage ourproperties, but then it's got, I gotta
go into the story about how I'm notmanaging properties for other people.
I'm actually managingproperties that we own.
And then I felt, feel self-consciousabout that because I don't
wanna feel like I'm bragging.
Um, you know, or I, it's notlike my passion and so then I
feel, you know, it's just weird.
I get all up in my fucking headabout it and it's stupid, right?

(02:21):
But I feel like I should be doing morebecause the thing I love doing is I love
doing this podcast, and one thing I kindof reflected on is the other part of what
I was trying to do is write this book.
And I really have let my ambition go asfar as making the time to work on my book.
I really haven't been working onit, and that's something that was
important to me that I really wanna do.

(02:43):
But that's so, you know, it's alwayslike, I feel like I'm in transition.
So people say, what do you do?
I wanna tell 'em about like, oh, I'mwriting a book and I have a podcast.
But on the other hand, I know thoseare things I'm not getting paid for.
Right?
Like, that's not really like my job.
And I think it's a similar answer when,you know, maybe stay-at-home parents
when they say, I'm a stay-at-home parent.
Like, you feel a little weird aboutsaying that because even though that's

(03:04):
something you're doing and it's animportant job, you're not getting paid.
And when you're not getting paid, youalmost feel like it's not valuable
or it's not, you know, like are, youdon't, you're not doing enough, right?
It's weird, right?
I don't know.
Um, and the whole, like being astay at home parent thing, like that
was something that was really hardfor me that I struggled with a lot.
Like I never felt like that was enough.

(03:26):
And the truth of it is, is thehardest job in the world, the
hardest thing I've ever done.
And I've talked.
A ton of parents who have been a fullstay-at-home parent, and it's the
hardest job you'll ever do, right?
It's draining, it's exhausting.
Like you're always doingsomething, it doesn't matter.
Like there's alwayssomething to do, right?
And you're not getting that constantappreciation or the paycheck or the

(03:48):
bonuses or your paid vacation or yoursick days like you are 24 7, 365.
I mean, that's just kinda the life of a.
And even as a working parent, it'slike you're working your job, then you
come home and you work as a parent.
Like parenting is a no days off job.
It is constant.
And you know, I don't think it's somethingthat just stops when the kids turn 18.

(04:08):
I mean, you still, you still havechildren after they turn 18, right?
They might be outta your house.
You might have less responsibilityover them in a lot of ways,
but you're still right.
You're still on, like you're stillthe parent and there's still a lot of
things to do, um, kind of sidesteppinghere, but just, that kind of had me on
a role too with like the whole parentingas a job cuz it is a full-time job.

(04:29):
Absolutely.
And it deserves way more accoladesand credits than it gets.
And um, and I think that, um, could be aperhaps cultural thing or societal thing.
Like I think we're getting betterat acknowledging the important piece
that stay-at-home parents play andjust all the things that they do.
But at the same time, there'sstill that stigma, a little bit

(04:50):
of not feeling like it's enough.
Right.
I mean, I'm a mom and I feel that, butcircling back about this, you know,
being a new you and, and all thesethings, like, I started thinking
about how often are we like changingourselves, trying to be somebody else
because we feel we're not good enough.
and that's heartbreakingbecause we are good enough.
We are.
Like, I know, , I'm solucky to have a best friend.

(05:11):
I will.
I kid you not like she is in my cornerand is there to not only pump me up and
like reflect back to me on um, how goodI am and how well I'm actually doing,
because I constantly second guess myselfand I know I can't be the only one.
Right?
Like we're constantly never thinking we'regood enough and like always feeling like
we're incomplete or we have to do more.
We have to prove ourselves and thatgoes into this whole thing like, you

(05:36):
know, the new year, we feel like wehave to have these goals or you know, we
feel like we're not successful enough.
We're not far as far as long as wewanna be in our business or we're not.
Our body shape isn't lookinghow we want it to be.
We're not as healthy as we'd liketo be, or we feel like we should
be more like this or more likethat because we're more like that.
That means we're successful.
Right.
But the answer is no.
That's not like you can't place yourhappiness or your success on the future

(06:01):
on if I have this, if I get this and Iwant this, and once I have this, then
I'm gonna be happy, then I'm gonna befulfilled, then I'm gonna feel worthy.
The answer is no.
That's not how it works.
Your worth, your happiness, your joyis when you come to the realization
of knowing the brilliance that youare, when you come to realize the
divinity that's within you, right?

(06:22):
When you can recognizethat you're already whole.
That there is nothing wrong with you,no matter where you are at in your life,
whether you think you're behind or youthink you should be further ahead, or you
think you should have this or whatever.
You're okay and you'rebeautiful, and you're perfect.
Just the way you are right now inthis moment, and that's it, period.

(06:44):
There's nothing you needto do to prove your worth.
Okay?
And when you can start recognizingthat about yourself, recognizing
that you're still whole, recognizingthat you're still perfect in just
the way you are in this moment.
That's when you can startletting life flow for you.
And it's when manifesting becomeseasier because you're in flow, because

(07:06):
you recognize that you do have thispower that creator, that the creator
that has created everything that wesee, like the birds, uh, trees, plants,
animals, all, everything like thatcreative energy is what's created you.
It's a piece of you.
It's you, right?
Like you are the creator.
You get to create your life.
And so when you can recognize thatpower within you, when you can recognize

(07:29):
your brilliance and see that this humanexperience, even though it can be hard and
heartbreaking, and we're full of all thesehuman, um, like instincts and feelings
and emotions and thoughts, like we canbe in control of that, we can be control
in control of ourselves and we can createwhatever it is we wanna create and we just
have to realize it, we have to wake up.

(07:51):
This process of awakening is aboutcoming to remember and realize your
innate power, your innate perfectness, like that magical gift that you have
as you like being born into this worldat this specific time, for a reason.
Like there is much more thanjust our outside world day,

(08:12):
our day-to-day life, right?
Like we get so caught up in theday-to-day and achieving and
wanting to succeed, and wanting theacknowledgements and the recognition.
And the thing is, and I feel likethe, and we wanna be seen, right?
We wanna be seen, we wanna beheard, we wanna be validated.
But you're not gonna get thatuntil you validate yourself,

(08:32):
until you realize you're worthy.
Without having to do anything, you have nothing to prove.
You have an innate worthiness within you.
Just you being here in this life, in thismoment makes you worthy of everything
you could ever wish for, hope forwhatever you wanna create in your life.
You were worthy and deserving of it.
And I feel like I'm repeating myselfa little bit from past episodes, but

(08:56):
it's because this, this is somethingI'm so passionate about and it's so
needs to be heard, and it's somethingthat we neglect ourselves with,
and, it's easy to forget, right?
We, we go to sleep, like we forget andwe get caught up in this day-to-day
life and having to do all these things.
And, um, the thing is, is lifecan get so much more beautiful and

(09:17):
joyful when you realize your power.
When you realize your divinity andyour worthiness, when you're not
always trying to just go, go, go toprove a point when you can realize and
see yourself, and validate yourself.
Just knowing that likethings just happen for you.
I'm telling you, it's, it's ridiculous.
It's crazy.

(09:38):
Um, and it's beautiful and I just wantpeople to recognize that, to recognize
within you because I guarantee youthere's people that see you that
just like think you're amazing andthat, think you are doing wonderful
things in your life and wish theycould be you, but you can't see it.
It's so crazy we can'tsee it about ourselves.
Other people see it within us,and we can't see it in ourselves.

(10:00):
And that's really what I wannahelp people do is find that.
find that piece within themwhere you can realize, right?
Like I said, my ma, my mantra, my mantrafor this year was realizing you're
a badass bitch and tapping into thatbadass bitch within you, like this
is what this is about, is recognizingthat you are a badass bitch, right?
Like, own that shit, own it, own you.

(10:23):
Be more you.
Don't try to be like anybody else.
We don't need a lot of otherpeople all the same, right?
Like we need you.
We need you and your uniqueness.
You have unique gifts to bring to thisworld, and it doesn't mean you have to
like strive and accomplish and make amillion dollars or whatever Not that
there's anything wrong with that.
And if you wanna do the things that getsyou those things in life, that's fine too.

(10:44):
And that's great and wonderful, but it doesn't validate you.
That doesn't equate your worth.
What you do is not who you are, Ok?
What you accumulate is not who you are.
You get it?
Like we strive and we like, likewe will make ourselves sick.
We're literally slowly killingourselves for something that

(11:04):
doesn't even matter, right?
Like you gotta find your own joyand recognize this brilliance within
you and recognize that there isnothing about you that you need
to do to make yourself worthy.
When you recognize that you are worth.
And that you can achievewhatever you want and create
the light that you wanna create.
You can start makingthings happen for you.

(11:26):
And I'm not saying it's something thatjust like proof magically happens, but
when you have that right attitude, whenyou have that love within you, that love
for yourself, the love of which you camefrom, when you're connected to that love
that source, the energy that, that power, that magic, when you're connected in it
and you see that that's what's within you.
Then you're vibing high, you'revibrationally matching up for things

(11:48):
to come into your life, right?
Like you start openingyourself up to opportunities.
You start being appreciativeand being grateful for the
things that you already have.
And when you're in that mindset ofbeing grateful for what you already have
and knowing that you have everythingthat you need, and knowing that you're
fully loved, just as you alreadyare, you don't have to do anything.
And that's when you getmore of that, right?
Like that's when you start like attractingthings that are in alignment with how

(12:11):
you're feeling, how you're vibing.
. And it's interesting to me becausethe more I talk about this, the more
that I listen to the audiobooks and,and other people talking about their
spiritual, like spiritual experiencesand spirituality, it's, it's validating
for me to hear that everybody's storyas far as like research or hearing

(12:32):
people's like, um, connections with spiritand just learning about our divinity.
Like everything I research,it's all the same.
It's consistent.
There's a consistencythere in all the messaging.
Um, there's a new book I'm reading that'samazing and it just like hits everything
that I've been saying over and over again.
It is just super validating to hearthat no matter the different authors I

(12:54):
read about or pick up or the differentstudies on metaphysics and different
doctors and things that are talkingabout, like, there's evidential, like
to me, there's no coincidences, right?
Like how, how can this many people besaying the same stuff and be picking
up the same things that I pick up on?
Like there's somethingvaluable in that, right?
That just solidifies everything thatI'm doing right now in what I am, quote

(13:18):
unquote, preaching like, not that Ifeel like I'm a preacher, but I feel
like I have a message that I need toshare because I want other people to
know that joy and that love and tobegin start looking within themselves
to find that power and that love, right?
Like it's not outside of you, right?
God is not with not outside of you.
He's within you, right?
That source energypiece that's within you.

(13:39):
It is you, right?
Like you have that power.
And you don't have to repent, and you don't have to prove
your worth to get that right.
That's something that like, I'm gettingmore and more confident and, um, like,
uh, secure, I guess you could say in likevoicing my, my opinion or what I am, um,
seeing is you're already worthy, right?

(14:01):
Like, I, I hate that indoctrinationthat we get taught where you
have to like prove your worth.
Like it starts when we're a little kid.
If you're good, if you do allthis, then you get rewarded, right?
If you follow the rules, then you're lovable, right?
But that's not true.
You're already loved.
You're so loved.
You are lovable just as you are.
We get so caught up in all the, thethings we've been through that the

(14:24):
mistakes we've made, and um, thepainful moments we've experienced.
We feel, we feel rejected, we feel broken,we feel unworthy, unloved, and we're not.
We're loved just as we are, andwe don't have to change anything
about ourselves to get to get love.
You don't have to dothings to receive love.

(14:45):
You are.
You just get to be just being yourself.
Just breathing, just waking up inthe morning you were loved, okay?
You don't have to do any tasks.
You don't have to save the world.
You gotta save yourself, and you saveyourself by recognizing that you are
beautiful, that you have everythingyou could ever need within you.
Recognize your power.

(15:06):
Don't be a new you.
Be more you.
Quit being a afraid of being yourself.
Like walk, walk out loud, right?
Like there's no more hiding, right?
Like recognizing your beautyand your power lets you
stand up in a confident way.
You get to stand in your beauty, you get to fully bloom, right?
I've talked about this before aboutwhen the risk is greater to remain tight

(15:30):
in the bud than it is to bloom, right?
That quote, this is it.
Bloom.
Be you.
Right.
And there's nothing wrong withtrying to improve yourself, right?
I'm not saying that you can still worktowards loving yourself more by maybe
drinking some more water, taking somemore steps throughout the day, right?
There's, there's, it's fine to behealthy and wanna improve yourself

(15:50):
because when you know more, whenyou, when you know differently
than you can do differently, right?
Like we're all just doing thebest we can with the knowledge
we have at that specific moment.
So anytime we're learning and picking upnew knowledge, that's a chance for us to
vibrate differently and to have new waysof thinking to start doing differently.
Right?
And it doesn't mean wewere wrong back then.

(16:11):
That was just ourexperience in that moment.
We were still loved and perfect inthat moment, just like we were still
loved and perfect in this moment.
Right?
So there is evolvement, there ischanges in your life as you, as you
raise your vibration and come to knowwho you really are and come to know
what spirituality means to you, and,and knowing your power, like that's

(16:32):
all transition and evolvement, sure, you're gonna change, but it's becoming
more you, you're becoming more of yourtrue self coming into your higher self.
So you don't need to be somebody new.
You don't need to be like thisperson or that person, or do more
of this or do more of that to bemore successful or accomplish more
like you are just amazing, just asyou are, right, be you, be more you.

(16:54):
That's the message for this week.
And um, you know, I have nothing for lbut love for anyone that listens and,
um, you know, shows up and listens tomy message and shows up to the show.
