All righty, children, welcome to another episode of the Lemon Squeeze Pride
Edition. This is going to be rainbow lemonade.
And of course, you know, there's going to be plenty of sugar because the queers will be everywhere.
This episode is going to be different. We might talk about some tea.
We may not because I'm high as hell.

(00:22):
Information. Oh, my God.
Anyway, I'm joined today by my family and co-host, Mysterio Casadine,
Lady Camille Casadine Ninja, and Aaron, a.k.a. Stone Crazy.
That's my line, Camille. I'm back.

(00:44):
We are back, honey. What's going on? Camille's been gone for a while. I have.
You know, honestly, that's a good way to put it.
My theater career has been taken off i know
tell us about the theater what did
you well i stepped away from drag for a little bit well
not really because i was still doing shows girl yeah but i did a show in february

(01:06):
my first show back doing theater since 2020 i gave up theater and walked away
from theater in 2020 and decided to focus on focus on drag and then this year
i had the itch to go back got a show in february at mixed blood one of my bucket
list theaters on an equity contract, which was really cute.
Oh, cute. Because I'm not an equity. I'm not a part of the union.
So it was a really good experience. And then during that time,

(01:29):
I got the offer to understudy at the Guthrie Theater, where the reason why I
moved up here, I graduated from their acting program.
And this was my first show working at the Guthrie. I've done a lot of education
work with them. I do a lot of education and outreach.
Sometimes I have- But never anything on the stage. But I've never been on the stage.
And to do one better, I mean- Under unfortunate circumstances,

(01:51):
one of the gentlemen I was understudying injured his arm the night before,
right after the weekend after opening.
And so I ended up having to go on a day before my first official rehearsal and
ended up making my Guthrie debut for two days, which was really cute.
You know, now I can put that on my resume. I performed at the Guthrie.

(02:14):
Yeah, that's cool, girl. But it was also great because I only went on for those
two days and then all I had to do was check in 30 minutes before each show started
and be like, hey, I'm at home or hey, I'm in a meeting.
So I was able to work on a lot of like drag stuff during that time and still get paid for it.
Understudying is very stressful. I will say that because I did two lead roles,
which is basically 90% of the show.

(02:35):
It's like really hard to do, but like when you like do that and you're just
sitting there collecting that check, just saying, hey, this is where I am if
you need me. And you get paid regardless.
Oh, I get paid regardless. Because you still have to show up to the show.
I don't actually have to physically be in the theater.
I just have to be 30 minutes distance, a drive, 30 minute drive.
So I could still work at Paisley Park during those times and be like,

(02:58):
hey, I'm at Paisley because Paisley is only 25 minutes away.
Okay. And yeah, so technically you still get paid those weeks because you're the plan B.
You're the contingency. Oh, that's hot, though. I did not know that.
The best thing is when you filled in, did anybody go, why didn't she get chosen
to play this character in the first place?
Well, that's the thing I will say is that the two guys that are understudying,

(03:20):
I did a show, the show that I did at the beginning of the year,
I did with them. So they're great.
They're great peoples. Like I was not wishing ill on any of them. that
being said though you know i did a lot of
people did show up on those because you know it happened so suddenly so
i really had no time to say anything except announce it on facebook but a
lot of people showed up for that night rania came some folks

(03:41):
from college showed up that i hadn't seen in a while okay you know so leila
came and saw it too like there was a bunch of people that showed up and i will
say i gotta shout out the gut three because like i found out at 10 49 the night
before that i would have to go on and so i did not even have my first rehearsal So I went in at 11 AM,
everyone, a part of that management team, general management, artistic,

(04:02):
they all came in at some point during that day to check in on me.
They bought me, you know, they bought my lunch, they bought my dinner and every
last one of them came in and checked in to see how it was going.
Cause it was the day before my first official rehearsal technically.
So I hadn't really touched the stage until that morning of the show,
other than going on to see the set and everything.
I had not physically been on that stage in an acting capacity.

(04:24):
Okay. Okay. so it was like you know it was yeah it was a lot but i'm grateful
for it but that's where i've been disappeared too but you know it's pride so
we're back back back again baby.
The casa dines are about to take
over yeah dine honey not dean i i honestly don't understand for the life of
me i don't know where it comes from i'm like somebody tips like someone very

(04:49):
educated you'll go to the deaner in english or something call me and tell me
why do people say Dean instead of dying maybe it's something we don't know,
But I got it from my drag mother, Tanisha Castellan. All right,
rest in peace, Diva. And that's what I was taught. So, you know, I don't know, honey.
What I find funny is that some of the same people who say this are the ones

(05:09):
who literally get upset if you say their names wrong.
If you say their name wrong, if you say their pronouns wrong,
if you identify them wrong, which, you know, I think is something that shouldn't be tolerated either.
But you got a dish which you can serve, my friend.
Or taglines, girl. And see, this might be with tech.
If you get a tag boo I've been hosting if you get some of their taglines wrong

(05:30):
these folks will go crazy they do they like oh I want you to say it like this
I want people to know me as this I thought that when you got a tagline it was
because somebody thought you were fabulous,
and they gave it to you I didn't know that we started calling and making up
names for ourselves or taglines I don't know it's just weird the thing is it's
like you know I've been calling myself the divine secret but I don't ask anyone

(05:51):
to announce me as that you know exactly if someone asks me
hey how would you like to be announced as yes i'm going
to be like oh can you remind them that i'm a superstar you know
can you remind them this that and the third but like i
give myself these you know the puerto rican princess of the midwest but i don't ask people
to announce me as that i don't see what it does for your drag
people don't announce me yeah i don't see what it does for your drag just say

(06:13):
my last name right exactly i feel like sometimes people's
taglines really do sound cool when you say it on the mic but yeah true i feel
like it should only be when you need it for print you put someone asked you
for a tagline so they can put it on the flyer or you know because that's a lot
for a host whatever it's a lot for a host and then my and i think the worst
thing for me is like you give me a piece of paper with damn.

(06:36):
A 12 page novel on it and i'm like i'm not gonna read
all this shit just give me just tell me
your name and i promise you i will do my best to get
it right i'm never gonna try to misspell somebody but can i say though
like when hosts do that i think that's so fucking hilarious
because well when they're like i'm not reading all this girl i'll shorten it
because the prom event that i just did with frozen and hunky he texted me it

(06:59):
was like hey you know how would y'all like to be announced so i just copy and
pasted from a different thing and sent it to him and he just his response he
goes yeah i'm going to shorten this but you know it's cute amen.
I was like period because this
is just a copy and paste i really didn't think this through i just wanted to make sure
i got the information to you because i don't feel bad i do not feel bad at all

(07:20):
because i do it a lot he always did that and it made me like chuckle so hard
i said you cut it down you could just call me lady if you want to and just say
there's an introduction because it's a lot especially if it's a show with a
lot of entertainers yeah and everybody want me to say hey, my name is this,
this, this, the Twin Cities, this, this, this.
I'm like, I'm not doing this all night, honey. This is ridiculous.

(07:42):
If the people don't know that about you by now, boo, ain't no sense in us repeating it.
I'm just, I'm sorry. It just gets crazy. But yes, please say our last name right.
It is Casa Dine. It's not very hard to say.
I don't understand. I smoke a lot of weed. Unless you call a diner a deaner.
I guess so now, huh? Well, I'm going to the deaner. Fine. To the deaner. Line.

(08:04):
Like yeah right i do the same thing i do the same thing seriously i'm like diner
do you dine do you say i'm in fiener oh i'm going to dean out to eat i'm going to dean out.
We're going to deaner dean on steak

(08:27):
ta-ta oh literally but dine what
else what do you have going on aaron i know you said
you won't even be here for pride right oh i'm leaving for pride we're leaving
for pride girl where you know a lot of people are where y'all going we're not
so we just have other we have other family events that we're going to we have
a graduation and a birthday party that we're going to in another state okay so cryptic.

(08:54):
Isn't sheboygan sheboygan what a great
drag name right right sheboygan when i first
i'm not good that name was so funny
to be sheboygan sheboygan sounds like a
cartoon effect you know when they jump in the bar you know when the car didn't
jump shebar we hit it i see it with a little it's like the bang bang pow bang

(09:18):
shit bang but yeah we're so yeah we're going out there and that's the weekend
for us but we're coming back Sunday so,
you'll get oh yeah so you're gonna be back no wait when are you coming back
Sunday are you gonna be back we'll be back we'll be back
uh butcher's tells us happen again it'd be like no it'd
be in the evening like five five in between i got

(09:39):
a good time y'all look back for butchers yeah we might be but you'll
start you'll be flying back in no we're driving oh okay yeah not that far away
right it's no it's only like a four or five hour drive it's like an hour from
borgia minnesota wisconsin wisconsin jasmine's from mm-hmm yeah i was born there,

(10:01):
she was born again she was bought she bought that was a girl.
I'm eating these gummies girl you made me swallow my i'm
going to make swallows yeah we smoke of course
you know with this podcast we smoke weed this is
a and we're eating snacks we're eating micah nights and

(10:24):
hot flaming cheetos and i don't know what those are
is that trail me no they're funnable fruity snacks
funnable fruity snacks sounds cheap i'll pass i like
name brand stuff honey we'll have some mic and next there
you go the name brand white i feel very
bougie so good yeah oh my
goodness oh have you guys ever

(10:46):
had a warhead freezy no yes yes i've
never had this those what the hell is that
but you remember i do the sour ass yeah yeah
they made it into a liquid that you that's a freezy pot yeah
it is so good that's so sour though oh that's
what i say do if you think it's too sour then break it
up into a glass mix it with alcohol oh wow

(11:07):
camille's a snackologist it's like a little like a margarita oh
oh no that might be hot margarita that yeah i
can see that the the lime the thing in this yeah i hate
mixing with alcohol i promise you you'll like it i hate to admit that i have definitely.
Done that before i mean it's
like oh let me tell you essentially are like
i remember the big long ones once they

(11:27):
get from the uh the best we used to get those in the
summer i don't know if all of you are like old enough to remember like freeze cups
that's my free version see look at everybody's
wondering what the hell is she talking about well but it's like kool-aid and
the styrofoam cups and you can go to like a candy lady
or somebody who sells in the neighborhood you can get them for like
25 cents oh so yeah we have that

(11:47):
in latin community puerto rican community called piragua which
basically kind of like shaved ice instead of like the
cool it frozen kool-aid in the thing and then they pump the syrup
into it and then you just like mix it in so it's just like a free kind of like
kind of like a freezer pack yeah they have that same thing in louisiana oh um
snowballs they're simply the same thing yeah and they except snowballs to me

(12:11):
i think i I don't like the syrup that they use for those sometimes.
It tastes nasty. Oh, really? Yeah, I don't. Well, I haven't been down there
in a while. I haven't had one for a while either.
Well, I can promise you everything's better in Chicago.
Yeah, Chicago got going on. They got some good food over there too.
Maybe I'm about to go back there for market days.
Oh blessed market days market

(12:33):
days y'all know them cheering was going
there last time i forgot what was going around and it
was market day oh it was like that second round of like what was it it was not
wasn't covid it was something that broke break your skin out monkey pox and
they i was like y'all finna go to a party because i think we were all there
yeah i was like i'm not going to no damn parties where we finna be touching

(12:55):
each other my monkey pox are going on i will pass on
that honey but i'll tell
you something about them white gays do not give a damn oh girl
they finna go do their party and they don't care
what's going on maybe that's most of them do enough cocaine to
kill anything no they'd be wild i'd definitely be enjoying myself at them i

(13:17):
do the only reason why i like going to market is because i like to shop i like
to shop and it's also nice to see the chicago girlie yeah you know the drag
scene is amazing lucy bambi all of them yeah Yeah, except for that one bar we went.
We don't have to name it. The one where you walked in and it was just bodies everywhere.
Oh, is it? Oh, I think that was one that I passed on. They're at the gas station.

(13:38):
I think I know what you're talking about. No, by the 7-Eleven?
Yeah. Oh, the one that had the lines?
Charlie. That was Charlie's. Yeah, I passed on that one. Yes.
Yeah, because Demita was there as well. We both stayed outside.
And then they're like, oh, we're going to perform. And I'm like, where?
They have this little bitty stage, right? Let me tell you.
Isn't it like a little bitty stage? well it's basically like you've been
to like like a western like square dance it's

(14:00):
like the size of his table where no it's actually they have a good amount
of space to dance with and they have barriers too and
when i tell you them queens walk up and like genuinely
get everyone to you know what i know what you're talking about now yeah
i don't know how they do it it's like the magic of god
them bitches walk up and go all right we're about to start the show i need everyone to
move and them bitches scatter like roaches well you know queens and they have

(14:22):
all that space up there to perform they have a really nice i do know they have
that mirror space behind them i know the bar oh girl i think i was thinking
about being able to look at yourself while you perform i think i was thinking
about the other spot that they had you're thinking of berlin yeah unfortunately,
they're gone berlin that was berlin yeah well a lot of them have tiny stages
because uh hydrate has a sort of small stage relative to what we usually perform

(14:46):
on and i would say roscoe's is.
Roscoe's is the one that has the viewing parties right yeah Roscoe's is pretty
pretty good too that one is always pretty packed though because of the viewing
parties yeah that's where Nisha I think some of y'all with Todrick Hall and
Lorraine that was Demita baby we did I was with Demita are you with her during
that one too yeah it was a good show though.

(15:06):
Period like despite in spite of in spite of everything
that they say about that young man that the bitch can perform
her ass off oh she is talented yeah she's so talented
i do too i like the music i think some of it is
not for me but like for most of it i do like
yeah i feel like when taj was here we got
robbed because it was cheap at the varsity

(15:26):
the varsity and because half of that and
half of the crew got stuck on the
way up here yeah i heard the costume it was a snowstorm yeah so
it's like they kept coming out and doing all these dances but
i'm like where's the show bro you wearing the same shirt
and tajik had like the same outfit on the whole time but didn't
he didn't they say that though before we start this time they said they

(15:47):
wanted to let you know that we still want to put it on but i was
like i feel like we i would have counseled i would have i would have to
i would have counseled that was the same night he came out to the saloon after
oh he sure did and being fake he needed he
needed to come out to the saloon after that she was being fake honey
if you want if you want caucasian she sure wasn't being
friendly that night i'm just keeping it real jolly i remember

(16:07):
meeting her i like her music i just i didn't say
i would like to be friends with her no yeah but i just didn't get good energy
from her right away even someone i just even being in the industry you really
learn like when your fans or people that respect you come to you no matter how
you're feeling you just always be polite you can be if you're tired stay your
ass at home like you don't have to come out and be rude to

(16:28):
people that come and support you and appreciate you.
You should be willing to show some love because without fans or people.
None of us would be doing anything in this industry.
I didn't have like the best meeting with her in my life. But the concert,
I like to see her perform.
She slayed at Market Days. Who they having this year? Are they having anybody
y'all know? I haven't looked at the festival, festival lineup.

(16:52):
Right now because i'm i'm like i'll wait till i get back
from la before i start work i am going
to go to lollapalooza though that's my first lollapalooza that's
my name where they're having it's in chicago yeah yeah
girl you did not know about huge festival yeah
geo's gonna be there oh i know
geo it's gonna be in august they're gonna

(17:13):
have victoria monet is gonna be there sizzle yeah
me yeah me too i fell in love because you lollapalooza yeah it takes place in
grant park you know the big area where the bean is well it's not gonna be beans
in the construction area right now but that park that goes all the way down
to the museums all the blues is right there in the lakefront that's a huge popular
with a lot of really good entertainers coming.

(17:35):
And it's right next door yeah that's why i'm going girl i
might just break it out just fuck around and go down because you
know my family is usually the ones working security well yes in
august you what you know i'm excited my first
august first geo flies back august first he's in
college i don't know after going to edf like i really want to
go to another festival like so much fun they

(17:56):
come to riot fest with me i don't know what that is what is
that it's a heavy metal festival oh no honey
right oh no all i
think about is advil because i'm
gonna have a headache and lost a black i do like
some heavy i do like some heavy metal things i
really do like i do like music in general but

(18:18):
the heavy metal is just like me going into a sexy red
concert eventually i'm gonna want to leave we'll see
then again i like her let's go
30 minutes in okay time to go great now
i you know honestly i felt that way and
and this is no shade when i went to doja i

(18:40):
loved it up until a point where i was like i don't know none of
these damn songs how much longer is this concert gonna
be she was good but yeah it did get
to that point that's how i officially know no that's why i was like i have
to really like be listening to your album top to
bottom in order for me to go to your concert because i
have to like really be able to enjoy the entire show and not want
to leave it at that point that's crazy because i love megan i.

(19:02):
Wish megan's concert was just a tish longer i do
too i like that i just in because people said
that she had a lot of technical issues it was our first concert i wasn't
really keeping any of that i really enjoyed like
how happy she was that's what i read like
she was so giddy like fun i can't believe
this i'm here like that's the energy that
i got from her and it was like even though i'm just a drag queen i know what

(19:26):
that feels like that excitement of getting to a place where you want it in life
and you're like wow baby girl just graduated too oh she did she graduated college
what was that what was she majoring in let me look we'll figure it out we'll
figure it out i don't want to lie A lot of ain't nobody. I got you.
Oh, you pulled up a lot of people. She was up in school. I did.
When she first started popping off, she was in school.

(19:47):
Yeah yeah oh she was in school when she i
know one of her lines said these people these bitches be
out here buying perkins and she says
she be doing something she out here buying buying she out
here buying stocks like she's just be buying broken and i'm out here buying
stocks yeah she i love megan megan seems like the kind of girl that's gonna

(20:07):
be wealthy from this oh well and long term yeah and long term and i just i love
her personality i think that no shade to like Cardi and Nicki,
and they've kind of made the rap game a little like, it's not.
It's like you're dealing with a bunch of mean girls.
So when you see somebody like Megan, who like, she is amongst the mean girls,

(20:28):
but when she come out, she's like, I'm defending myself.
Y'all push me in this corner and I'm banging you bitches up.
I like Megan. Megan. I love her.
Glorilla was good too. Glorilla. I love me. But in fact, I applied to be her assistant.
Had you? Mm-hmm. when she first started popping
off and no one really knew who she was because i followed i followed

(20:49):
her on facebook she made a post that
she was looking for a personal assistant and i was like you know what let's
let's shake shit up a bit let's see where this takes us and i sent it in but
i never memphis royalty honey even though yeah we had games to boo we had project
pad we had little chat gloria's doing her thing mainstream yeah i love it and

(21:10):
i'm talking about the girls
i know people like me there was sasha there's a lot of people from
memphis that now i'm talking about the females that i know there was
the rapper and glows just doing her thing on in a major
way oh tiger's headlining on thursday yes a lot of good people back to lollapalooza
so y'all can know what we're talking about now talking about lollapalooza oh

(21:30):

something who where ben stellar,
you're thinking of ben stiller being stiller i think is a fair
oh got you oh renee rap is gonna be there
oh gee we're talking about lala pusa in chicago this
year it'll be happening august the what's the date up there august first august

(21:53):
first first through the fourth i'm going this year i'm absolutely looking forward
you're going all four days i'm somebody it depends some i'm not gonna lie this
lineup ain't making me want to go all four days um i don't know.
Yeah i might go to first two like i see scissor victoria i want to see i don't
know if i would want to sit and watch listen to blink 182 drink is that no i

(22:15):
would go for blink 192 i do know a lot of blink 182 though it's straight oh
the killers wait now wait a minute i love the killer,
you see me do emo drag brunch that's like my go-to scissor,
yeah scissors like scissors i don't know
i think i might really go to these because i like
the killers i can tolerate blink 182 and

(22:36):
what's great about lala is that like if you're not watching a show
at the stage you can be like camping out
it's a festival right festival yeah i think this
is yeah definitely going out four days in this uh this will happen
out four days and you're right downtown too so if you yeah you know
if you want to leave you can always go shopping i
mean yeah you already know shop shop shop

(22:58):

run a drinker a lot two to three hundred dollars
a day yeah unlimited access to platinum
lounges north and south with relaxed seating see
yeah you know yeah there's a lot of vip stuff but
that's a little between oh my gosh entrance lounges
and stage girl that's somebody you don't have to go walk you

(24:28):
just got a golf cart okay but that's $4,500
a person right complimentary complimentary full
service bar in both lounges i would just be in
the lounge all day i'm like this
is complimentary right you're gonna get your $4,500 i still
got 399 to go this is

(24:49):
you pay all that money and you get you get to basically just go play mysterio
goes i had a macaroon we gonna take about 15 off from that 45 i'm making sure
i get exclusive festival gift but this is similar to edc oh wow i'd share a
massage too yeah dedicated part of my energy wow this is sick.
But that's just for one person, though. Yeah. No, ma'am.

(25:13):
A bitch got bills to pay in costumes. Girl, that part.
But you, no, ma'am. Obviously, they could charge us some out because someone
pays for it. Yeah, somebody gonna pay for it. But not this girl.
$1,600. The one we just read off was $4,500. The one was $4,500.
That's ridiculous, though. Well, it's starting yet, so I feel like it's gonna go up.
See, for me, I'm like, I have to like at least 70% to 90% of all four days line

(25:38):
up. For me to drop $4,500.
Yeah. And right now, I only want to see about a good 15%. Right. No.
I'm going to keep the cheap money. I'm just going to go. I don't mind using
my legs and walking. If it gets too hot, I'm leaving. That part.
Simple as that. Oh, speaking of too hot. EDC.
Hunter, not hot in a sexy way, but Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden,

(26:01):
was literally prosecuted. He was found guilty.
Yeah, he was found guilty. I think, was it three charges? He was found guilty.
But I think what I find weird about this thing is he was charged for having
possession of a gun and he's a felon now, but the people who were like school
shooters and et cetera, you know, I don't know.
Some, some situations, I feel like some gun toters who like that kid that shot that person in that.

(26:27):
In the protest and they soft-handed him
you remember like the kid who shot someone in one of the protests you
see like the george floyd thing oh no it was in another
state oh but he was soft-handed i
don't think they prosecuted they soft-hand all of the yeah i
think they chopped it up to like self-defense even though this is also
oh how ridden house yeah i know he did shoot another caucasian person that wasn't

(26:52):
so but they said it was in self-defense and i saw the video i didn't think so
i think that was a scared person with a gun who shouldn't have one but this
man and then we all know this is political as hell hunter biding has been,
prosecuted because he was on drugs and
got a gun but he didn't shoot nobody he didn't do nothing he just had illegal

(27:12):
possession he's being charged for having a gun when he can't have a gun like
he was going through because he was going through i believe rehab and treatment
so you know how many So when you get caught with those things,
you're not supposed to have them.
And if you get caught, this is what happens. But I think this is more.

(27:34):
This is definitely politically motivated. Oh, God. Yeah. Girl.
Definitely. Because of 45. Watching through those TikTok videos, Miss Thing.
Like, girl, they were trying to use this as a way to get.
Because they haven't been able to get since Biden's been in office.
Yeah, they want Joe Biden, but they can't get Joe Biden. Exactly.
So I think what I do like about this, if I can find some civil on it,

(27:58):
is that I like that Joe Biden was like, I'm not going to pardon my son if he's guilty.
He's going to do his time. And he still showed up and gave his son a hug and
told that he support because he knows that this was a rough time in his life.
But I think I find it really hypocritical when they go so hard on this person.
And then Donald Trump has like layers and layers and layers of things that these people.

(28:19):
Oh, well, it's Donald Trump. he's not
a regular politician i'm like okay but
he's still a regular american citizen he's not
a regular politician he's not a politician at all rules i think
what they're doing what they think they're doing with government
is again i keep saying this on different podcasts if y'all
are really trying to tear down the rule of law and what people feel about government

(28:42):
keep doing the stuff that y'all doing on both sides y'all are hard-handedly
punishing people like hunter biden for things that Trump should also Trump didn't
have a gun but he clearly caused a lot of issues in our governmental world that he's not being,
nowhere near has for it right now.
And Steele just got convicted of all of, what was he convicted of, like three himself?

(29:07):
And he can run for president. And he can still run for president. Like 34 charges.
And Steele can run for president. No problem. And he can be on house arrest
in the White House. Yeah. Yeah, they said that he should do that.
Right. This is my thing, though. The thing is that when he gets in,
he can pardon himself. Yeah. He will. The day he signs.

(29:27):
Wait, so you can pardon yourself? Yeah. Yes.
Girl. Girl, because I'm sitting here like, how? But it's not something you want
to do because it just shows that. No, no, no, no, no. That's something that
a logical person doesn't want to do.
Donald Trump don't give a fuck about nobody or anyone's opinion.
He don't go in and be like, pardon me. Boom, I'm pardoned. Aaron, did you see that rally?
They just posted a rally of him. They said it was like 110 degree weather in Vegas.

(29:52):
Oh, yeah. And he goes on and he's like, I don't care about you.
I just care about your vote.
He like legit said you can find a video if
you want like where he legit says this and you still see that he still is as
popular with the migrant people as he was at first i just don't understand your

(30:12):
vote yeah that's what he said my campaign for the minnesota queer we need to
get that on a shirt for this upcoming for the queer war,
no shade y'all i'm just making fun i'm having a good time but literally i'm
definitely we should I don't care about you, I just care about your vote.
The Minnesota Clars Awards. Nominated best MC.

(30:34):
Should, you know, and on the back, it should be every category that a Casadine
is nominated for and who's nominated in that category.
And the front of the shirt says, I don't care about you, I just care about your vote. The scandal.
No, we just playing, y'all. We are just playing. That'd be so funny.
Oh no, I'm actually making this shirt. Oh, Camille, I would legit wear it though.

(30:56):
Oh, yeah. Here he is. Here he is. 110 degree weather in Vegas.
I don't care about you. I just care about your vote. That's what he said.
That's what he said. And you know what the crazy part is when you look at these
people that he pays to be stand back behind him because these people are paid.
They've already found out that a lot of these people are paid.
These people don't give a damn. This one woman over here to the far right.

(31:19):
She look like, damn, how much longer we can.
She looks miserable as hell right there. She's like, oh, this man just wants my vote.
If I was a queen in Vegas, I would be walking around handing out clack fans.
Oh, hell yeah. You would make something.
$5 donation. And make sure you wear a Trump outfit when you do it.

(31:40):
Girl, you would make something much more.
And you could charge them things $100 a fan. I guarantee you.
In that degree? Yeah, at a Trump rally, period, daughter.
$100 a fan. So you want to die of heat, or do you want to take this drag queen
fan? Man, look, drop your vote before you die, okay?
I don't care about you. I just care about your $100 for this fan.

(32:00):
He also said that he wanted mail-in ballots, too, this year.
I'm not going to lie. Please mail it in. If you can't make it,
mail it in. Well, didn't he say that he had an issue with mail-in ballots? Yeah. Yes. Wow.
You know why he's doing that? Because the polls show that him and Joe Biden
are naked naked, and Joe Biden is slightly still winning.
Well, I mean, if it goes the way we want it to, we're going to get four more

(32:22):
years of Joe. But then we're going to get a year and a half.
And then I think if the Republicans keep doing what they're doing,
then we're going to get four more years of job.
Because right now they said this is the most dysfunctional Congress that we've
ever had in multiple people's lives.
Marjorie Taylor Greene is the best weapon the Democrats has ever.
They better learn to use her.

(32:43):
Yeah, baby. You mean like a little built body beach?
It's badly built bleach blonde butch body.
Yeah, there you go. Ms. Jasmine Crockett is like one of my like AOC has always
been my top congressperson.
I love her. The lack of care when it comes to like equity because she's that baby girl.

(33:05):
I said when you get a Puerto Rican to say baby girl.
Baby, I'm telling you, I love Jasmine Crockett. Jasmine Crockett, baby.
She said, so let's say someone on this council comments on her badly built bleach bond butch body.
You saw homeboy's face like huh and
then the other guy laughed i think his name was rasping that

(33:27):
was so funny that was fun it was i love seeing her
videos because she was so mad and then jasmine spilled the tea that they actually
made merch and they're selling it to help with the biden campaign that's funny
though that's amazing i just thought about that like why not sell merchandise
to the other side and like donate it to the exact opposite of what they They want it to happen.

(33:48):
Like, you don't want queers to be around? Well, we're giving all this profit
to queer organizations. Period.
We're going to make sure they have all the rainbows we can give them.
I'm not a fan of politics right now, but if you really want a good laugh,
I'm telling you. I think it's the best free entertainment.
It is. It's all good. I mean, we have to deal with the consequences of these
idiots, but as far as the entertainment value, sometimes it's quite funny.

(34:12):
You can't write this shit. No, you cannot write this shit. Like,
people say that some of these are AI, and I'm like, no, that's exactly what
it is. Can you imagine the kids, like, when they become adults,
like, late, late, late in the future.
We'll probably all be dead and gone. But when they talk about this period in time.
Well, these kids talking like adults to begin with now. Oh, I know.

(34:32):
I follow this teacher on TikTok. And she just tells stories about,
like, you know, her time teaching.
And she goes, these kids just, like, walk in and, you know, call you a stupid-ass bitch.
Or, like, you know, they talk to you like you're an adult.
And I've been in. that's why i tell like when i do teaching artists
work i only work with high schoolers because i

(34:53):
can be blunt with them and it's not going to hurt their feelings yeah but i
can't handle a five year old coming up to me you know you're
saying something out the side of their neck like my reflexes is to my reflexes
get the best of me i literally i just kick them like mini me do you see you
remember that video it was back in the day where the little kid the teacher

(35:14):
hello boys and girls and it's like shut the fuck up.
I was like when a child talking like that honey
that's when you know the world is turning upside down i know and then they look
bad and he's like what you can feel the stress coming from that child when that
lady was talking i felt so bad for her because the kid was like respond to that

(35:37):
and then she's like oh you're talking to you bitch like the kid reaffirmed like i was like wow
damn this is where we at when i was a child i was worried about the next cartoon
and i wasn't no cuss words the new ninja turtles and barbies because i play
with them every now and then,
but wow kids are like really expressive these days very adult like them they

(35:57):
come out of the womb ready to vote like i'm a republican they come out with
a tablet a phone a computer right.
Like i don't want no rattle i want an apple watch i don't want no they've already
been to the top of mount everest like they've done it all they know how to order
amazon already literally already,

(36:21):
i don't know if i could have any kids now with technology the way it's going
we've decided we were not gonna have any children y'all make me think of kids
for us that movie demolition man it's in you know it takes place everyone's
more stiff and upright but everything they say is more
computerized like they use they sound more stoic

(36:44):
as opposed to now so that when y'all
talk about that that's what it makes me think of like eventually kids will be
like that like computers like actually computers x-men
97 like we are now because this weed i don't know what's in it but they will
tell you normally usually doing the podcast i don't snack that much but maybe

(37:05):
the snacking is snacking i'm gonna call it boom ball stick this got me over
here busting and these chips down.
These are good. I don't even eat Flamin' Hot Cheetos like that.
But when you get that craving though. Yeah.
When you get that craving. My indigestion is going to talk to me later though.
She's going to have a problem with me and I got all those bingos tomorrow.
I'm not going to enjoy how I'm feeling doing them.

(37:27):
What else? What else is the tea, honey? What else is going on in the community?
Flavor has been doing really great. We just had a fourth one at the Gay 90s. Show number four.
Number four. Working on number five now. Y'all doing a good job over there. Thank you. Thank you.
Okay. It's nice to have another King show in the community because I feel like,
yes, Kings are a little underrated.

(37:50):
And regardless of what they present, I think if they're given the chance to
get the success of the drag queens, the financial stability from it,
I think most of them will grow.
So as much as I can possibly do, I was happy to put together an all-king show.
It was nice. It's a change, yeah.
Especially in a legendary venue like the Gay 90s. I really do like that.

(38:13):
Because it gets a lot of attention from not just the queer community.
There's more of them now, too. Yeah, it's a lot. You're getting attention not
just from, you're getting attention from like the tourists and stuff that come in.
And during Pride, it's going to be, you're not going to have a Pride one.
That's what I'm fortunate. Because it's the first one.
This was going to be, it was supposed to be, but then I was like,
I wish we could do something else. It's so early in the month, I'll save it.
Maybe I could see if there's something else that could be squads out so y'all

(38:35):
could perform during Pride.
Because it would be nice. That would be cool. That's when it'll get lit.
It's going to get crazy, I know. Oh, yeah.
I'm looking forward to it because this year, I'm not
going to work as hard as I work like I do work a lot but
usually I would go and work night shows and then brunch shows if I'm working
it that means it's making me a lot of money this time and I'm going to relax
more because I was and I'm not going to be drunk this year not doing it last

(38:59):
year I was succeeded it I'm not succeeded in it I'm not going to do it this
year I just can't it feel better I just.
I'm going to have time to drink no I'm not even going to have time because you
feel disgusting you have to get up the next day and do your makeup and I just
can't no Now that's Sunday night.
Oh, baby, you already know. I will see you. We'll probably be there.
I might be in drag, too. This will probably be the first and maybe in a long

(39:22):
time when you get to see me drunk in drag at the 90s. Well, are you going to
be in the 90s? After, yeah. My last round, yeah, I'm going to get turnt.
Yeah period oh no i'm not gonna be at the nineties i
haven't seen i have a dinner show yeah no i have a dinner show sunday night
yeah yeah because ken's in it yeah i think
i still might make it to the 90s because dinner is we are done at
seven about seven eight yeah oh you're going to the 90s yeah i like hanging

(39:47):
out tonight it's again it feels fresh there's not a lot of people in there because
i'm sorry i love the saloon but you just walk in for you're going to hit a bunch
of damn depressed ass landmines. And I don't have time to.
I'm being real. I love my friends. I love some of them so much.
But it's like, you go to a bar to drink and have fun and have a good time.

(40:10):
I don't want to come to talk about no drama that's going on.
I honestly don't give a damn if your rabbit jumped off the cliff yesterday.
I just want to chill, honey.
That's it. It's it. Let's cry about the rabbit on Monday.
I don't know whose rabbit the weed is
making me make things up that's but like yeah i just

(40:30):
want to go and have fun i think that's what i miss about
coming up here in minneapolis it just was not
so depressed and if it was i think
people just did a better job of like keeping it to themselves and respecting
your energy because i think that's what's missing around here i don't care like
i want to be there for you but like look at me when I walk in if I'm smiling

(40:52):
and I'm radiating why do you think I want to be torn down by a club is not therapy.
It's not that's the thing though it's like we're not saying like,
Yeah. We all go through this. We all have issues, you know, and we're not saying
we don't want to talk to you about it, but there's a time and a place.
And I, like, I agree with that because there are so many times, especially lately.
And this is one of the reasons I stopped really going out is that like,

(41:14):
I'd go out. Cause I'm like, you know, I work hard.
I'm doing this. I'm at Paisley, blah, blah, blah. I want to go out and have
a drink with my sisters or, you know, run into people that I know.
You know kiki yeah and there's
always one or two people that corner
me and then start trauma dumping yes and it's and it's and it's not that i don't

(41:35):
want you to feel better and i don't want you to process this but it's also like
can you be mindful of the fact that like you didn't even ask me if i was even
able to hold space for this and trauma don't taste good with booze honey.
Because you said you're like dancing and they're
like now i'm fucking depressed like exactly and like
that's what turns it around to you and then you're like well now i'm

(41:55):
in a bad mood yeah and it's like the lack of awareness is
just insane but you know there's the girls
out there they're gonna be like oh well everyone's dealing with
something it's like yes everyone is dealing with something so let's
be mindful of that and not try to give someone else our and that's
why we have to make sure the spaces that we are going to call
you know our queer safe spaces we also

(42:16):
have to remember they're for fun yes they're for
a place that we could a place that we can come and release and
get rid of the stresses of the work because we all see what's going on but we
don't want to see the shit when we're in our safe spaces yeah i want to feel
safe i want to feel equal to everyone around i don't want to talk about drag
when i'm out i don't want to talk about non-depressed i just don't it's just

(42:37):
not fun i want you to treat me like and people don't realize especially with
me i'll speak for myself if you really want to get to know me just sit down
and talk to me about random stuff yeah but talking to me about business and
getting booked and drag i i get,
immediately over it like immediately i'm like yep time to go playstation quality
me no literally like one of the things i've noticed too going out a lot more because like.

(43:00):
I stopped for a while, is that no one asked how I'm doing.
Bam, Camille. I literally just stopped talking to Greg about that.
No one, like, very few, like, obviously, like, the family, like,
aunties, like, Shia will ask me how I'm doing, you know, the bartenders.
But, like, some of these folks come up and come trauma dump on me or tell me
about this tea or that tea or whatnot.
And not one of them have been like, how are you doing, Camille?

(43:24):
Like, I haven't seen you for a while. There's a handful of them.
It's like, I haven't seen you for a second.
Like, where have you been? you know but no one ever asked how are you doing
no they just immediately walk right in oh this want to talk business i want
to book you for this and i'm like thank you i appreciate that but we're at a
bar this is not the place to talk business because we're both drinking,
and like the date took it and that just happened to me with a day earlier this

(43:46):
month and i hate that you get labeled as like rude and dismissive and it's like
i'm protecting myself yeah exactly and there's nothing wrong with that so this
year i challenge people this year especially in our bars, if you listen to this podcast,
if you are feeling bad, no one is saying that you can't talk to them,
just say it's a time and a place for everything.
And just be respectful. Just because we are smiling and coming out and having

(44:09):
a good time does not mean that we're ready to take on your load of them.
Exactly. And I think if we're talking about respect and understanding.
Invading someone's space you can do that mentally as well
it does not always have to be consent is not physical exactly
we started something camille consent is not just
physical yes you have to ask if someone has the
capacity to hold space for you yeah now granted we have those relationships

(44:31):
where we know you know oh i can't talk to this person about this no matter where
we are you know or i can't talk to this person i mean you've seen many a times
i've had my moments at brunches i don't like to you know be like that in public
but sometimes exactly Exactly.
There are different relationships that we can guarantee those safe spaces at all times.
But if you don't have that relationship with someone, you got to,

(44:53):
you know, I don't want to say assume that they're dealing with something,
but assume that they have their own baggage coming into this space to begin with.
And maybe they're trying to escape that baggage by coming into this space. Yeah.
When you are feeling bad and you go out and about, you should be going out to
try to escape that a little bit, not be trying to dump it off on someone else.
That's part of the reason why I like to go out, you know. know because i

(45:15):
understand your sentiment i'm walking
in i'm smiling and having a good time because i'm leaving all of
my crap outside right exactly and we can't
talk really over loud music so it's like what's the point
my goodness the worst i hated
you on the dance floor you literally trying to have a full conversation with
me i'm like boo i'm trying to dance can you please wait what's that tiktok come

(45:38):
on let's dance i just want to dance let's dance right like get back The only
thing I want to hear is what's your name or do you want to drink? Okay. That's it.
But you're trying to have a full conversation. I'm like, boo,
I can't, I can't, I can't hear you.
It's too loud. I've started walking away from people. Oh, me too.
Like literally. I would walk away.

(45:59):
I would have to like just walked away. Like we weren't even having a conversation together.
Cause I couldn't, I couldn't hear cause of the music. I'm so sorry.
Yeah. Oh, I didn't realize you were talking to me. You know, music happening.
You know, I'll dance off in a heartbeat. I'm a dance. Oh yeah.
You are good. You are good.
Mysterio definitely will play a disappearing act I've seen you literally walk
up to people talking to me and you can hear what they talk about and you be

(46:20):
like and I'd be so mad I'm like why do you bring your ass over here,
just so I can walk away can you not see my face.
I'm usually happy in the bar but I look distressed
clearly and I can't hide
my face I can't hide it I
started telling folks I'm like once you start seeing my eyes dart everywhere but

(46:43):
at you it's time to wrap up the conversation i'm not doing
it purposefully i take your phone are you looking at your watch i
just habitually start doing that when i'm looking for an escape route but now
we just gotta start being real girl we gotta be like okay okay sis
okay gonna work tonight one more one more come on now
this hasn't happened in a while but i remember this used to happen when i lived in north
carolina if you have an issue with me don't wait

(47:03):
till club night and then roll up on me and say
something there and be like oh i heard you had said this and did
this okay well if i did that was like two weeks ago girl
you could have texted me sent me
a message it could have been an email and i would have told you no or i would
have told you yes but either way you trying to come up to me now i literally
have no time for you subject girl you're not making a spec we're not making

(47:26):
a you're not gonna make a spectacle out of you tonight not tonight darling nice
try you're trying to make a statement okay Too late for that.
Too late. I just hope this year is a fun pride, especially with everything that
we've going on. I'm not looking forward to the November elections.
So I'm saying to everybody, we need to have as much fun as we can.
We got plenty of time to be miserable.

(47:48):
November's around the corner. We don't want Joe Biden. We don't want Trump,
but we're stuck with one of them.
So it's like, we need to learn in the community to treat ourselves better and
to remember what we are queer and happy for. Like, you know, Wow.
We chose to be around each other to be safe and to be happy and to feel accepted in our communities.
So we have to make sure this year is all about that. I'm definitely looking

(48:13):
forward to having a good Pride with everyone.
But before we go, we have to make sure we give our commercial break.

bingo at Ikea. I love it. What is bingo in Swedish?
Because they have all the furniture in Swedish. Why isn't bingo...
They even have a Swedish restaurant in there. I love it. Like the meatballs.
Are the meatballs good? The Swedish meatballs? Yeah. Never had them.

(50:46):
I'm going to try them. And honestly, I'm not going to lie. I do like Ikea's hot dogs.
