Walk with me down Mimmers Lane into the low light and spend a few days in the Green with the human and not-so-human residents of Lower Leigh as its dark past is clawed from the ground. Meet the neighbours of Lower Leigh - the well-meaning, the curious and the devious, as they struggle with deranged Mims to uncover the truth, all while going about their humdrum daily business and continuing with their petty battles and secret yearnings as ordinary northern folk do, under the watchful eye of Owl and a bright crescent moon. Low Light is an ongoing narrated audio drama set in a northern English town. It has a dark edge and a sense of humour. One cold February evening, a Storyteller dies suddenly, bringing Officer Ruby Hussain into the lives of the locals as she sets out to track down the killer but soon realises there’s more to the place and the people of Lower Leigh than first meets the eye. Recommended to listen in episode order. Written, narrated and produced by Melanie Crawley for Crawley Voice Studio.

Louis brings news to the gathering and Eric takes to the stage for the first time in two years to expand on the story he began the night before. This time, the crows are listening and the wind waits impatiently.
Tanya and Charity meet after they both attend the planning meeting for Padma's celebration. Accusations are made and warnings are given, driving charity away to contemplate her mistakes. The dark track is waiting for her and the Mims are unsettled as the cold day draws to a close. Eric and Gavin investigate the extent of the damage so far...
Strange things are afoot in Shirley's house as the fog swirls over the snow-covered cul-de-sac. Gavin and Shirley discuss the day's events and try to decide whether Eric's prophecies will become reality and Kat makes a difficult phone call. Only Panko and Reg seem to sense that the Mims are beginning to get jiggy with it until there's a bang on the front door...
Tuesday morning dawns and the fog is menacing in its grip of the neighbourhood. The police are on the hunt for Charity, Louis tries to make things better with Sarah, Sally comes to a difficult decision. And there are more Mims on the loose as they realise that Padma isn't coming back...will Eric do anything about it? Or will he watch TV all day instead...
Worried about the level of Mim activity in the neighbourhood, Gavin decides to take action. Shirley is brought face-to-face with her childhood and Charity is running from the police. Join the neighbours in their quest to find Padma's heir and stop the old stories causing havoc.
There's a reunion at the police station. Ruby returns to Lower Leigh to follow up on her suspicions and Gavin begins a search for more information. Preparations are stepping up at the church and Eric continues to hide away from the ever-rising tide of Mim activity which is getting so lively that something is going to go wrong at some point, you can just feel it in the warming air.
With Piggy pegged, the neighbour comrades discuss a plan to get the Mims back under control. Eric doesn't want to play but when Ruby gets involved they learn much more about what might be going on. Meanwhile there's an outbreak of misery in the area and several neighbours find themselves at the mercy of the Mims and their bizarre activity. With only 24 hours to go until the Mims really let loose, will the neighbours work out what o...
