The Mixed Crips chat with Shiloh about her time as a caregiver, advocate and daughter to her mother with early onset dementia. The battles she has encountered and how she has had to move as a result.
Shiloh Fulford is a 41-year-old community support worker based in oskâna kâ-asastêki (Regina), in Treaty 4 territory. She's a wife, a mom to two teenagers—and four cats—and a caregiver for her own mom, who’s living with advanced, early-onset Alzheimer’s in a public care institution. Shiloh works with Creative Options Regina and is also studying Indigenous Social Work at First Nations University.
She’s deeply passionate about human rights and social justice—especially when it comes to 2SLGBTQ+ and disability rights—and volunteers with Righting Relations, a grassroots movement of educators and organizers working toward decolonization and radical social change across Turtle Island. When she’s not juggling all of that, Shiloh loves music, board games, true crime docs, and gathering loved ones around the table for good food and meaningful connection.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
