The concept of these 3 E’s is something we have spoken about on our podcast before. When you have a new client enter your treatment room, this is your time to shine! This is where you make them feel like they have come to the right place to resolve their issue and make them wonder how they ever went to another therapist before that didn’t follow the 3 E’s philosophy.
ENGAGE with your client by making a strong initial impression and by forming a genuine connection with them.
EDUCATE your client. Not only is this more fun, but your results will also be much better! Who wants to treat someone who just wants to lie there and says “fix me?".
By making a strong connection with your client, and by educating them on their current status and how you plan on restoring their health together as a team, you are EMPOWERING them!

The Male Room with Dr. Jesse Mills
As Director of The Men’s Clinic at UCLA, Dr. Jesse Mills has spent his career helping men understand their bodies, their hormones, and their health. Now he’s bringing that expertise to The Male Room — a podcast where data-driven medicine meets common sense. Each episode separates fact from hype, science from snake oil, and gives men the tools to live longer, stronger, and happier lives. With candor, humor, and real-world experience from the exam room and the operating room, Dr. Mills breaks down the latest health headlines, dissects trends, and explains what actually works — and what doesn’t. Smart, straightforward, and entertaining, The Male Room is the show that helps men take charge of their health without the jargon.
