Nermeen talks about God's hand being on her every step of this journey, from winning the green card lottery to her upcoming advanced training in Africa to learn to train missionaries around the globe to spread the gospel to unreached nations.

that i'm so excited for you to meet a true
true egyptian beauty nermeen todris welcome to the jesus girl roar studio how
you doing today great thank you fam for having me on the show it is such a thank
you for being here we've been wanting to have you on the show for a while.

And we were able to literally snag you in between mission trips,
because you do a lot of evangelism around the world.
So tell us a little bit about yourself and about the call that God has placed on your life.
Sure. I am Egyptian. I was born in Saudi Arabia, but I was raised in Egypt till I was 15 years old.
(01:09):
And then we moved to the U.S. by green card lottery. A lot of people don't know what that is.
Americans don't know what that is, but that's how we got here.
Lived in New York for four years and been in Atlanta, Georgia for about,
this November will be like 20 years. 20 years.
We sort of speed bumped over the green card lottery.
Tell us about that. I don't know what that is. Yeah, a lot of Americans don't
(01:31):
know what that is, but that's worldwide.
The USA does give, a lot of people pay money for application and then you apply
for a green card lottery.
It's literally like a lottery. So they pick 50,000 people per year to be chosen
to just to have the permit residence or the green card lottery win it.
(01:52):
And once you win that, you just have the, you know, permit resident,
you come in the US and you'll be here after four years and nine months to be
exact, you can apply for citizenship.
Oh my goodness. So you literally won the lottery.
That is, I've never heard of that. Isn't that something?
(02:13):
That's something we do need to know. That's right. We do need to know.
Tell us a little bit about your ministry because you are very involved in evangelism outreach.
You're on the streets. You're on the streets. You take people on the streets.
You're in stores. You're praying and over people.
It's very exciting to hear what you're doing. And you're seeing testimony. Yes.
(02:37):
Powerful, mighty testimony. So I always, as I was a little child,
wondered like, what on earth am I here for? Literally, Lord, what is my purpose?
Why am I here in this year specifically? There must be a reason.
And I've always questioned that. And then after that, fast forward, moving here.
And then I got more revelation right now. I understand why I speak fluently
(02:59):
Arabic and English and all this goodness.
But, you know, June 2019, I went to my first mission trip to Zambia with the
Coptic Orthodox Church.
That's where I am originally Coptic Orthodox.
And it was really fulfilling. It was fun. It was great.
It didn't have a lot of like crazy, like, you know, healings and signs and wonders
(03:23):
with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, because that's not something that the church
believes in. But it was very fulfilling.
I knew right away, okay, this is a heart filling thing for me,
especially that I met children that were touched and that healed my heart because
my own children were taken away from me.
So that's something that I was like, wow, this is so good.
Like, Lord, I know now this is my purpose and calling.
(03:45):
And then COVID hit. And then I was like, okay, what is, are you teasing me here?
Like, I want more. I love this. I want more of this.
And then literally after prayers for a while, and then like, the Lord is so faithful.
He does not tease his children. He just gives us a little taste to see if we're
all in or not. I love how you said that.
(04:06):
Yeah. He does not tease his children. No. You knew that call was on your life
the second you went there.
You didn't know what it was going to look like. Yeah. But God does not tease
his children. No, not at all.
And during COVID was the best years of my life where God has revealed so much.
We had like two very like expertise of teachers in the university of like Christian
(04:31):
based counseling courses in Egypt that they actually through Zoom.
We took courses with them for eight months straight.
How cool is that? Yeah, that's awesome.
That is awesome. And I've never heard. I read the book like by Rick Warren,
like what on earth am I here for purpose driven life book. I read it and it was really cool.
And all the courses were actually in Arabic, but I did some read some stuff
(04:53):
in English and it, and it, there was like deep inner healing courses.
There was a lot of healing that was done in my life through this,
the COVID year was really awesome and it enlightened me and it showed me like
God literally purposefully put abilities and like even passion, excitement,
all the good stuff that we have.
He on purpose, he creates our characters like that to be full,
(05:17):
like in the purpose of God's calling on our life.
I love I love so much how you said that. And it brings me back to Psalm 139,
where he says, when I knit you together in your mother's womb.
He did that in the secret place, in that secret place. He knit talents and gifts
and unique, you know, things that are so unique to each one of us into us.
(05:41):
We have that DNA within us. And when you went on that first missions trip.
You're like, this is in my DNA. Correct.
Correct. And it was really cool. And the way even I went, it was a big testimony.
And like I, the one that was sharing in a Catholic church, there are a lot of
people that love the Lord in that church so much.
Church and he was sharing like about mary like
(06:04):
pouring out the oil at his feet the perfume and
it was expensive as a year worth salary and he
was saying i dare you to do something crazy for the lord this year and i didn't
know about fundraising and this trip costs thousands of dollars but i was like
lord i'm i'm gonna do it for you i really want to be part of that and that's
where it's unlocked when you are like literally laying something down for just
(06:27):
a little bit it's It's not much.
You make room for more. You make room for more. That's right. Yes, that's so true.
And that's exactly what happened. So fast forward after that,
I was church hopping because I was hungry.
I knew there was more to the Lord than what I'm being taught.
In the church. So I was like, okay, one of the churches I went to is Passion City Church.
(06:48):
And I volunteered two years back to back in Passion Conference.
One of them was in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. And that's like a huge conference
with people come from all over the world.
It was literally 55,000 that were sold out for college students from 18 to 25
years old of age. That's awesome. And it was incredible.
But out of the 60,000 people were in that conference, I meet the one person
(07:11):
that I have a five minute conversation with her and she connects me to.
I've never heard that you could do such a thing all over the world like missions.
I never knew that there's so much I didn't know.
She gave me a number to a person who is a team lead in Overland Missions,
who I'm now connected with.
And seven months that was in January of 2022. 22, seven months later,
(07:32):
I meet her for the first time in the first expedition in Turkey. My goodness.
Don't you, you know, when you say that, Nermeen, I think instantly how God directs our steps.
He, you know, God directs our steps. He is Jehovah Shama.
He went before you and out of those thousands and thousands of people,
he makes sure that your path collides with the one
(07:55):
person exactly 100 that you needed to
connect with at that conference amen he's so
good yes he is awesome as much as we prepare the way
actually the lord prepares the way for us too yes he
does he goes before us and he prepares the way for us prepares
the way but that's how i actually for the first time was introduced in august
2022 for the fact that there are signs miracles and wonders there there's manifestations
(08:21):
the holy spirit gifts there are speaking in tongues i I never knew that in my life, all of my life.
I never heard of that. I didn't know it. What does that look like?
I would go back to the hotel room and cry like a baby. We were 20,
like 19 of them are all like this.
And I'm like, what is wrong with me, Lord? Why am I not the only one?
And that's just like, really, there was nothing wrong. It's just a lie that, you know, you just knew.
(08:44):
And to be honest, I confess, I was seeking the gifts first, not the giver.
So that is so important. Very important. That is so important.
Very important. So the Lord was like, no, you seek my face. And all these things
will be added into you. That's right.
I'm delighted to give you everything else. It is my gift for you and you don't have to earn them.
(09:04):
So eventually, you know, and then every year I would with work,
I would just save all my time off and make sure I go on that mission trip overseas.
So how many mission trips have you been on? Total four so far.
I have been to Zambia, I've been to Turkey, I've been to Lebanon, and I've been to Egypt.
(09:24):
And then since last year, this powerful, because in June of last year,
this is when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit.
On the mission field in Lebanon. Oh, how cool is that?
Come Lord Jesus! Exactly. Seriously.
And then I was like, this is awesome. But I, I uttered like a baby, like just two syllabus.
(09:48):
Like I was like, okay. But I just knew that, you know, he unleashed so much
in me since then, since last year. You knew you would never be the same.
I literally am never the same.
Since last year I did, when I was there, I literally said, I'm quitting my job.
I'm leaving everything.
I'm dumping all in. Like there's nothing more fulfilling than to be one and
(10:08):
see God at work in you, through you, and how mighty he is, and how much love
he has for his people that are hurting, that are lost.
The sweetness and the kindness from the smallest thing to the mighty,
crazy things that have experienced recreation miracles.
Like you can see from beginning to end and nonstop of testimonies.
Let's camp there for just a second, Nermeen.
(10:31):
Tell us about some of the signs, miracles, and wonders that you have seen on these mission trips.
Amen, amen. Or maybe even just in the streets, because you're out on the streets here in Atlanta.
Yes, we actually are locally here in downtown Woodstock. And the Lord wanted
to make sure I launched that before I leave, because I leave the country in
10 days. And we're going to get there.
(10:51):
That's a big one. But what are some of the greatest, the most astounding signs,
miracles, or wonders that you've seen?
I have seen a lot in Egypt. That was literally in May of 2024.
So you're talking about less than three months ago that's when we
were on we usually do like two weeks expedition people
(11:12):
from all over the u.s they just gather go there and you
know i've seen people i can definitely talk about ramadan which is ramadan is
the holy month of the muslims the people and his his name was ramadan the expedition
was done we were we checked out of airbnb we're leaving completely but the night
before me and two other girls were like how cool would it be If we say,
(11:34):
look at somebody and say, rise up in the name of Jesus and walk.
We want to see that. Like I, that's another thing. The Lord is,
is always like encouraging me, like faith, the more, the more risk, the more faith.
That's a good word. The more risk, the more faith. Yes. And I want to write that down, audience.
I learned that from Bobby Dawkins. Like he's like the more risk, the more faith.
(11:56):
I love him. Yeah, he's awesome. He's awesome. And even like the simple simplicity
of like how to approach people and see, experience miracles right away and not
complicated and pray for hours.
I've learned that room too. It's just seconds and minutes. The Lord just wants
to touch them. And that's what you allow.
But Ramadan literally never walked all his life. is
51 years old he was literally on his knees
(12:19):
and hands in the street and i look
at the girls and i said okay this is last minute we leave back to the u.s tonight
but this is no this is a perfect candidate this is our moment let's do it so
i talked to i i look at ramadan and i say come and i praise god for knowing
the language the language fluently i know i know why god had made me Egyptian.
(12:42):
So anyway, I was like talking to him. I was like, come on, let's sit on the
side. He's like, yeah, sure.
What do you, do you have something for me physically? We said, we'll get to that part.
But most importantly, Jesus wants to heal you. So he's, they,
a lot of them never heard of the, of the salvation story.
And that's another thing that touched my heart. Like a lot of people all over
the world never heard of what Jesus has done for them, How much God loves them.
(13:07):
All they have seen and known and learned is religion.
Which is definitely not from the Lord. That is not from the Lord.
And then we talked to Ramadan a little by little.
And I say, man, he wants to heal you right now. He's like, two things.
That's what I've been praying for. I want to walk. And I was like,
you know what? He will do it. He can do it. I've seen him do it and he will do it again.
(13:29):
So I just simply laid hand on his right knee and I was praying.
And then the other two girls that I had with ministering at the same time were
just praying and ministering to him. and telling him what Jesus has done.
Little by little, he said, what's in your hands? I said, nothing.
He said, no, no, I literally felt water and electricity coming out of your hand,
(13:50):
going through my leg from the knees all the way to my hip with a sharp pain.
I've never felt anything in my right leg for 51 years.
I was literally crippled, like the crippled man in the Bible.
He's feeling something for the very first time. For the very first time.
And the expressions on his face was priceless. was
like he's like you guys are gonna give me a heart attack like what
(14:12):
is happening here it was funny he was frightened or absolutely
he said i want to walk but it looks like i'm
gonna die before i walk i mean he was just being he was just being funny but
then we said no that is what healing is taking place and started explaining
to him what the holy spirit is we don't have anything in our hands but god's
power and touch will do that and will manifest itself in an evident way in an
(14:34):
And so later on, we continue praying and he's like, okay.
And we tell him anything you're feeling, anytime you feel anything, you just tell us.
So he started feeling his right toes, all the five right toes.
And he's like, I'm feeling tingling. I have sensation.
This is crazy. I don't know what that would look like. Imagine like,
you know. Can you imagine? Yes.
(14:55):
He didn't know what that is. We continued praying and ministering to him.
And he's like, I feel sharp pain in my knee. So the Lord has just every single
like connection of his connection point on that left leg was starting to manifest.
We shared with him the gospel. We told him what that looked like.
We exchanged numbers with him and he was so receptive.
(15:17):
A lot of those people don't have financial resources and materialistics to rely on.
And it makes it so easy for them to receive, to receive God has for them.
So he was very receptive. And he said, okay, well, I told him,
listen, just like a baby, you know, they learn to walk, crawl,
you're going to recover and you're going to get a walker.
(15:37):
We called his friend and he said, you help him walk because he's already healed.
He's already healed. He's already healed. So he said, okay, I'm going to get
a walker. I'm going to start walking. We exchanged numbers.
We said, you, when you walk, you let us know and we will know.
And I'm still in touch with the long-term team. They're checking and seeing how things are going.
I love that. And it's just so beautiful. I just, I will never forget that.
(15:59):
And someone even told me something so prophetically.
On point. He said, Ramadan, the Lord wants to change that celebration from the devil to his glory.
So him even meeting that specific person and seeing that his name is that like,
you know, that celebration that comes to the Lord and we glorify his name and celebrate with him.
(16:22):
Amen. What a powerful testimony.
Yeah, I have so many. Can you share another testimony with us? That is fantastic.
And then we're going to get into talking about your next mission trip.
Yeah. So I will never forget also.
I can share more than one, but I'll be brief because I know of the time.
(16:45):
But I will never forget Yusuf is a nine-year-old boy that we met.
He was like begging in the street with his sister, Rahma, which means mercy.
Was this also in Egypt? Yes, it was also in Egypt.
And that that yusuf he was he sells quran for a living to make quran is the
is the bible for the for the muslims or it is like the bible for the muslim
(17:07):
their holy book and i you know i'm not gonna say how we connected with him because
it's gonna be long but it was definitely divine.
And when we met him and i was talking to him about jesus we had a video to show
him that how jesus gives a new heart even if you're rejected and hurt and it
will change and transform your life
and then i have a picture on my phone of
(17:29):
who jesus is and how he looks like you know
hugging a little girl and that's a personal thing to me but
i was just wanted to say baby this is who jesus is he looked at me he's like
is that who you're talking about i'm like yeah that's who i'm talking about
he's like well i've seen him and i'm like what come again i don't understand
like i was shocked little nine-year-old boy yeah i've seen him yeah he said
(17:51):
for the past five days straight.
Jesus would come to him in a dream and lay down and sleep next to him and he wouldn't say a word.
I was like, I asked him to tell me multiple times, literally.
And literally, that's another thing. Like there's so many people that are hungry, especially Muslims.
He's been showing himself in dreams a lot and visions. It's mind blowing.
(18:16):
And then they took him to his mom and asked him, does your boy ever lie? She said no.
And then we ministered to his mom and his mom's friend, and they were all receptive
and receiving from Jesus. How beautiful.
That, honestly, that story puts a lump in my throat to think that Jesus would
show up to that little nine-year-old boy, his son.
(18:39):
For the five days to prepare him and just lay down next to him. Yeah, amen.
It is so Psalm 93. That's what he does. He just is our good shepherd.
He's so good, you know. He's awesome. He quiets our soul. He restores our soul.
Well, that is a beautiful, beautiful testimony.
(19:02):
So, Nermeen, you're getting ready to take off in 10 days.
You've been going through a lot lately. getting packed
up you're selling your home
yes I close in one week actually I'm selling the Lord
said to sell I quit my job and left my career I was
going to be a project manager and last week was my last week
with work it was almost six and a half years of I was growing so much in that
(19:25):
career but it was nothing more fulfilling and purposeful than to be on who God
made you to be it's so true and just walk in that so yeah I do and then in 10
days I go to advanced mission training over in Africa.
Half of it is in Zambia, six weeks, two weeks in Cambodia and four weeks in Vietnam.
I come back fully equipped in Jesus name and I'm going to be on staff for full-time
(19:48):
missions all over the world, whatever the assignment looks like.
As soon as I'm fully funded with monthly partners, then I go.
That's how beautiful, how awesome.
And there is really no joy that compares to the joy of knowing that you're walking
in the plans and the purposes that God literally created for you to walk in.
(20:11):
And nothing compares to it.
When you find that lane that he's created for you to be in that territory,
he says, enlarge the pegs of your tent.
Man, I'm giving you, I'm giving you this territory.
And that's what he's doing for you right now. Now, Nermeen, so this is where
I'd like to camp right now.
(20:32):
How can our listeners partner with you?
And we're going to be dropping all of Nermeen's information into the bio section
so that you can partner with her as she is partnering with Holy Spirit and bringing the kingdom,
to earth. Amen. Yeah, absolutely.
(20:54):
So like you said, it's the work of the body of Christ. I will not be able to
go if I am not supported financially or covered in prayers.
So absolutely, if you feel led by the Holy Spirit to partner with me on a monthly
basis, please do so. Do not hesitate.
I have mighty testimonies of how when I laid and the Lord would provide four
times that just right after because he does not owe anybody anything.
(21:17):
He's mighty and he is more than anything else. So yeah, just...
Partner with me financially, pray, cover me in prayers.
If you're not able to do that, please do so because there is a lot of,
you know, scenes where we go to the unreached nations.
This is the organization I'm with, unreached nations where Christianity is banned and illegal.
We go to the places nobody wants to go to. We go to places that nobody can get
(21:40):
to except through a boat or a dirt bike or even through the bushes or villages.
So it's not comfortable. It's very hard. and we
go through a lot but definitely invent your calling can
be this is your opportunity that your calling can
be investing in and supporting the kingdom
of god by expanding it when you support financially a
lot of people this is an opportunity for you to partner
(22:03):
in and just just walk in that calling because
that's that could be your calling and a lot of people
out there yes that's so true their calling is to
just fund the kingdom of god and expand the
gospel throughout the world and so what
what how do you maneuver in areas
that are where christianity is
(22:26):
banned where it's illegal how do you maneuver in those situations out
of you know that's something i think like it is
i'm sure it's very very dangerous and the
church is underground yeah so how how
do you it's definitely by the lead of the holy spirit
every single person he puts on your heart we have a
lot of words of knowledges or he will give you something before
(22:46):
you go out and you chase that excuse me
or literally the holy spirit would be like this is the person that's open and
stops you there and i have a a very short i remember this woman we met and we're
ministering to her and two people in the car right there they wanted to spot
us and security with calm and and question us interrogate us or torture there's
(23:08):
a lot of things that can happen because
it's illegal to minister the gospel in those countries.
The Holy Spirit made sure everyone around, like there was noise out of nowhere,
all of a sudden around us that covered our voices when we were talking to her.
My goodness. Like cars were, you know, the beeps were honking.
Like I'm telling you, it was an hour team was like two, three miles away,
(23:29):
filtered in the spirit that something was happening and they were praying for us.
So it's definitely divine and supernatural.
It is, it can be very intimidating because it's scary.
Scary but but what would the again the
higher the risk of the more the faith and the more the mightier the
lord you you know will will actually help us
maneuver us and actually lead us in the holy spirit just to direct our path
(23:53):
every single step of the way so we just rely on him we know we're covered that's
why i said it's important if you can't financially support make sure you cover
in prayer cover me in prayer cover our team in prayer and everybody's doing
that work it is very important.
Amen. And, and as you pray and as you financially support this ministry, you're a part of it.
You're a part, you're a part of that harvest. And we would just encourage you to,
(24:18):
to be a part of this work that is happening in some of the most dangerous areas of ministry possible.
And I, as you were sharing that story, Nermeen, I was thinking that how you,
We literally cannot lean to our own understanding.
When you're in those situations, it's impossible to lean to your own understanding.
(24:41):
You have to acknowledge Him, Holy Spirit, and you have to know that He's directing
your path to go to whomever He is highlighting in your path to go to.
And when He does that, He will...
He will protect you. Amen. He will protect you. He will. And,
well, it has been, wow, such an honor, honestly.
(25:03):
I'm blessed. Thank you for having me. Such an honor having you here.
And I know that it wasn't easy for you to get here today.
No. There's a lot going on in your life to prepare for.
Exactly how long are you going to be gone?
Three months. Three months. That's obviously right around three months. It's true training.
True training. It's like real training. We camp in tents. We sleep in the bushes.
(25:24):
We will go to villages with a sleeping pad, sleep there to minister to those villages for a few days.
Yeah, you're in Holy Spirit boot camp. Amen. You are Holy Spirit boot camp girl.
Okay. Call to action right now. We are, we are lifting or mean up in prayer.
We are lifting this ministry up in prayer. If you can financially support,

We're all in a mission field, but for the kingdom.
But if God just pray, if God puts us on your heart to partner with Nermeen and
the work that God has called her to. and really some very dangerous,
very dangerous areas of ministry.

And I love what you said, the greater the risk, the greater the blessing.
And that's what Jesus said, like that's His commandment before He left.
Go preach, make disciples and tell them about me in Jerusalem,
Samaria, and all the nations.
So that's what we're doing here in downtown Atlanta and downtown Woodstock and
locally, internationally. nationally.

So expand your tent to just like, you know, Pam saying, and yeah,
that's the body of Christ.
Again, I am the hands and feet. You're the financial supporter and the prayer
warrior behind. That's right. We are the body together. We are the body together.

And then we moved to the U.S. by green card lottery. A lot of people don't know what that is.
Americans don't know what that is, but that's how we got here.
Lived in New York for four years and been in Atlanta, Georgia for about,
this November will be like 20 years. 20 years.
We sort of speed bumped over the green card lottery.
Tell us about that. I don't know what that is. Yeah, a lot of Americans don't
(01:31):
know what that is, but that's worldwide.
The USA does give, a lot of people pay money for application and then you apply
for a green card lottery.
It's literally like a lottery. So they pick 50,000 people per year to be chosen
to just to have the permit residence or the green card lottery win it.
(01:52):
And once you win that, you just have the, you know, permit resident,
you come in the US and you'll be here after four years and nine months to be
exact, you can apply for citizenship.
Oh my goodness. So you literally won the lottery.
That is, I've never heard of that. Isn't that something?
(02:13):
That's something we do need to know. That's right. We do need to know.
Tell us a little bit about your ministry because you are very involved in evangelism outreach.
You're on the streets. You're on the streets. You take people on the streets.
You're in stores. You're praying and over people.
It's very exciting to hear what you're doing. And you're seeing testimony. Yes.
(02:37):
Powerful, mighty testimony. So I always, as I was a little child,
wondered like, what on earth am I here for? Literally, Lord, what is my purpose?
Why am I here in this year specifically? There must be a reason.
And I've always questioned that. And then after that, fast forward, moving here.
And then I got more revelation right now. I understand why I speak fluently
(02:59):
Arabic and English and all this goodness.
But, you know, June 2019, I went to my first mission trip to Zambia with the
Coptic Orthodox Church.
That's where I am originally Coptic Orthodox.
And it was really fulfilling. It was fun. It was great.
It didn't have a lot of like crazy, like, you know, healings and signs and wonders
(03:23):
with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, because that's not something that the church
believes in. But it was very fulfilling.
I knew right away, okay, this is a heart filling thing for me,
especially that I met children that were touched and that healed my heart because
my own children were taken away from me.
So that's something that I was like, wow, this is so good.
Like, Lord, I know now this is my purpose and calling.
(03:45):
And then COVID hit. And then I was like, okay, what is, are you teasing me here?
Like, I want more. I love this. I want more of this.
And then literally after prayers for a while, and then like, the Lord is so faithful.
He does not tease his children. He just gives us a little taste to see if we're
all in or not. I love how you said that.
(04:06):
Yeah. He does not tease his children. No. You knew that call was on your life
the second you went there.
You didn't know what it was going to look like. Yeah. But God does not tease
his children. No, not at all.
And during COVID was the best years of my life where God has revealed so much.
We had like two very like expertise of teachers in the university of like Christian
(04:31):
based counseling courses in Egypt that they actually through Zoom.
We took courses with them for eight months straight.
How cool is that? Yeah, that's awesome.
That is awesome. And I've never heard. I read the book like by Rick Warren,
like what on earth am I here for purpose driven life book. I read it and it was really cool.
And all the courses were actually in Arabic, but I did some read some stuff
(04:53):
in English and it, and it, there was like deep inner healing courses.
There was a lot of healing that was done in my life through this,
the COVID year was really awesome and it enlightened me and it showed me like
God literally purposefully put abilities and like even passion, excitement,
all the good stuff that we have.
He on purpose, he creates our characters like that to be full,
(05:17):
like in the purpose of God's calling on our life.
I love I love so much how you said that. And it brings me back to Psalm 139,
where he says, when I knit you together in your mother's womb.
He did that in the secret place, in that secret place. He knit talents and gifts
and unique, you know, things that are so unique to each one of us into us.
(05:41):
We have that DNA within us. And when you went on that first missions trip.
You're like, this is in my DNA. Correct.
Correct. And it was really cool. And the way even I went, it was a big testimony.
And like I, the one that was sharing in a Catholic church, there are a lot of
people that love the Lord in that church so much.
Church and he was sharing like about mary like
(06:04):
pouring out the oil at his feet the perfume and
it was expensive as a year worth salary and he
was saying i dare you to do something crazy for the lord this year and i didn't
know about fundraising and this trip costs thousands of dollars but i was like
lord i'm i'm gonna do it for you i really want to be part of that and that's
where it's unlocked when you are like literally laying something down for just
(06:27):
a little bit it's It's not much.
You make room for more. You make room for more. That's right. Yes, that's so true.
And that's exactly what happened. So fast forward after that,
I was church hopping because I was hungry.
I knew there was more to the Lord than what I'm being taught.
In the church. So I was like, okay, one of the churches I went to is Passion City Church.
(06:48):
And I volunteered two years back to back in Passion Conference.
One of them was in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. And that's like a huge conference
with people come from all over the world.
It was literally 55,000 that were sold out for college students from 18 to 25
years old of age. That's awesome. And it was incredible.
But out of the 60,000 people were in that conference, I meet the one person
(07:11):
that I have a five minute conversation with her and she connects me to.
I've never heard that you could do such a thing all over the world like missions.
I never knew that there's so much I didn't know.
She gave me a number to a person who is a team lead in Overland Missions,
who I'm now connected with.
And seven months that was in January of 2022. 22, seven months later,
(07:32):
I meet her for the first time in the first expedition in Turkey. My goodness.
Don't you, you know, when you say that, Nermeen, I think instantly how God directs our steps.
He, you know, God directs our steps. He is Jehovah Shama.
He went before you and out of those thousands and thousands of people,
he makes sure that your path collides with the one
(07:55):
person exactly 100 that you needed to
connect with at that conference amen he's so
good yes he is awesome as much as we prepare the way
actually the lord prepares the way for us too yes he
does he goes before us and he prepares the way for us prepares
the way but that's how i actually for the first time was introduced in august
2022 for the fact that there are signs miracles and wonders there there's manifestations
(08:21):
the holy spirit gifts there are speaking in tongues i I never knew that in my life, all of my life.
I never heard of that. I didn't know it. What does that look like?
I would go back to the hotel room and cry like a baby. We were 20,
like 19 of them are all like this.
And I'm like, what is wrong with me, Lord? Why am I not the only one?
And that's just like, really, there was nothing wrong. It's just a lie that, you know, you just knew.
(08:44):
And to be honest, I confess, I was seeking the gifts first, not the giver.
So that is so important. Very important. That is so important.
Very important. So the Lord was like, no, you seek my face. And all these things
will be added into you. That's right.
I'm delighted to give you everything else. It is my gift for you and you don't have to earn them.
(09:04):
So eventually, you know, and then every year I would with work,
I would just save all my time off and make sure I go on that mission trip overseas.
So how many mission trips have you been on? Total four so far.
I have been to Zambia, I've been to Turkey, I've been to Lebanon, and I've been to Egypt.
(09:24):
And then since last year, this powerful, because in June of last year,
this is when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit.
On the mission field in Lebanon. Oh, how cool is that?
Come Lord Jesus! Exactly. Seriously.
And then I was like, this is awesome. But I, I uttered like a baby, like just two syllabus.
(09:48):
Like I was like, okay. But I just knew that, you know, he unleashed so much
in me since then, since last year. You knew you would never be the same.
I literally am never the same.
Since last year I did, when I was there, I literally said, I'm quitting my job.
I'm leaving everything.
I'm dumping all in. Like there's nothing more fulfilling than to be one and
(10:08):
see God at work in you, through you, and how mighty he is, and how much love
he has for his people that are hurting, that are lost.
The sweetness and the kindness from the smallest thing to the mighty,
crazy things that have experienced recreation miracles.
Like you can see from beginning to end and nonstop of testimonies.
Let's camp there for just a second, Nermeen.
(10:31):
Tell us about some of the signs, miracles, and wonders that you have seen on these mission trips.
Amen, amen. Or maybe even just in the streets, because you're out on the streets here in Atlanta.
Yes, we actually are locally here in downtown Woodstock. And the Lord wanted
to make sure I launched that before I leave, because I leave the country in
10 days. And we're going to get there.
(10:51):
That's a big one. But what are some of the greatest, the most astounding signs,
miracles, or wonders that you've seen?
I have seen a lot in Egypt. That was literally in May of 2024.
So you're talking about less than three months ago that's when we
were on we usually do like two weeks expedition people
(11:12):
from all over the u.s they just gather go there and you
know i've seen people i can definitely talk about ramadan which is ramadan is
the holy month of the muslims the people and his his name was ramadan the expedition
was done we were we checked out of airbnb we're leaving completely but the night
before me and two other girls were like how cool would it be If we say,
(11:34):
look at somebody and say, rise up in the name of Jesus and walk.
We want to see that. Like I, that's another thing. The Lord is,
is always like encouraging me, like faith, the more, the more risk, the more faith.
That's a good word. The more risk, the more faith. Yes. And I want to write that down, audience.
I learned that from Bobby Dawkins. Like he's like the more risk, the more faith.
(11:56):
I love him. Yeah, he's awesome. He's awesome. And even like the simple simplicity
of like how to approach people and see, experience miracles right away and not
complicated and pray for hours.
I've learned that room too. It's just seconds and minutes. The Lord just wants
to touch them. And that's what you allow.
But Ramadan literally never walked all his life. is
51 years old he was literally on his knees
(12:19):
and hands in the street and i look
at the girls and i said okay this is last minute we leave back to the u.s tonight
but this is no this is a perfect candidate this is our moment let's do it so
i talked to i i look at ramadan and i say come and i praise god for knowing
the language the language fluently i know i know why god had made me Egyptian.
(12:42):
So anyway, I was like talking to him. I was like, come on, let's sit on the
side. He's like, yeah, sure.
What do you, do you have something for me physically? We said, we'll get to that part.
But most importantly, Jesus wants to heal you. So he's, they,
a lot of them never heard of the, of the salvation story.
And that's another thing that touched my heart. Like a lot of people all over
the world never heard of what Jesus has done for them, How much God loves them.
(13:07):
All they have seen and known and learned is religion.
Which is definitely not from the Lord. That is not from the Lord.
And then we talked to Ramadan a little by little.
And I say, man, he wants to heal you right now. He's like, two things.
That's what I've been praying for. I want to walk. And I was like,
you know what? He will do it. He can do it. I've seen him do it and he will do it again.
(13:29):
So I just simply laid hand on his right knee and I was praying.
And then the other two girls that I had with ministering at the same time were
just praying and ministering to him. and telling him what Jesus has done.
Little by little, he said, what's in your hands? I said, nothing.
He said, no, no, I literally felt water and electricity coming out of your hand,
(13:50):
going through my leg from the knees all the way to my hip with a sharp pain.
I've never felt anything in my right leg for 51 years.
I was literally crippled, like the crippled man in the Bible.
He's feeling something for the very first time. For the very first time.
And the expressions on his face was priceless. was
like he's like you guys are gonna give me a heart attack like what
(14:12):
is happening here it was funny he was frightened or absolutely
he said i want to walk but it looks like i'm
gonna die before i walk i mean he was just being he was just being funny but
then we said no that is what healing is taking place and started explaining
to him what the holy spirit is we don't have anything in our hands but god's
power and touch will do that and will manifest itself in an evident way in an
(14:34):
And so later on, we continue praying and he's like, okay.
And we tell him anything you're feeling, anytime you feel anything, you just tell us.
So he started feeling his right toes, all the five right toes.
And he's like, I'm feeling tingling. I have sensation.
This is crazy. I don't know what that would look like. Imagine like,
you know. Can you imagine? Yes.
(14:55):
He didn't know what that is. We continued praying and ministering to him.
And he's like, I feel sharp pain in my knee. So the Lord has just every single
like connection of his connection point on that left leg was starting to manifest.
We shared with him the gospel. We told him what that looked like.
We exchanged numbers with him and he was so receptive.
(15:17):
A lot of those people don't have financial resources and materialistics to rely on.
And it makes it so easy for them to receive, to receive God has for them.
So he was very receptive. And he said, okay, well, I told him,
listen, just like a baby, you know, they learn to walk, crawl,
you're going to recover and you're going to get a walker.
(15:37):
We called his friend and he said, you help him walk because he's already healed.
He's already healed. He's already healed. So he said, okay, I'm going to get
a walker. I'm going to start walking. We exchanged numbers.
We said, you, when you walk, you let us know and we will know.
And I'm still in touch with the long-term team. They're checking and seeing how things are going.
I love that. And it's just so beautiful. I just, I will never forget that.
(15:59):
And someone even told me something so prophetically.
On point. He said, Ramadan, the Lord wants to change that celebration from the devil to his glory.
So him even meeting that specific person and seeing that his name is that like,
you know, that celebration that comes to the Lord and we glorify his name and celebrate with him.
(16:22):
Amen. What a powerful testimony.
Yeah, I have so many. Can you share another testimony with us? That is fantastic.
And then we're going to get into talking about your next mission trip.
Yeah. So I will never forget also.
I can share more than one, but I'll be brief because I know of the time.
(16:45):
But I will never forget Yusuf is a nine-year-old boy that we met.
He was like begging in the street with his sister, Rahma, which means mercy.
Was this also in Egypt? Yes, it was also in Egypt.
And that that yusuf he was he sells quran for a living to make quran is the
is the bible for the for the muslims or it is like the bible for the muslim
(17:07):
their holy book and i you know i'm not gonna say how we connected with him because
it's gonna be long but it was definitely divine.
And when we met him and i was talking to him about jesus we had a video to show
him that how jesus gives a new heart even if you're rejected and hurt and it
will change and transform your life
and then i have a picture on my phone of
(17:29):
who jesus is and how he looks like you know
hugging a little girl and that's a personal thing to me but
i was just wanted to say baby this is who jesus is he looked at me he's like
is that who you're talking about i'm like yeah that's who i'm talking about
he's like well i've seen him and i'm like what come again i don't understand
like i was shocked little nine-year-old boy yeah i've seen him yeah he said
(17:51):
for the past five days straight.
Jesus would come to him in a dream and lay down and sleep next to him and he wouldn't say a word.
I was like, I asked him to tell me multiple times, literally.
And literally, that's another thing. Like there's so many people that are hungry, especially Muslims.
He's been showing himself in dreams a lot and visions. It's mind blowing.
(18:16):
And then they took him to his mom and asked him, does your boy ever lie? She said no.
And then we ministered to his mom and his mom's friend, and they were all receptive
and receiving from Jesus. How beautiful.
That, honestly, that story puts a lump in my throat to think that Jesus would
show up to that little nine-year-old boy, his son.
(18:39):
For the five days to prepare him and just lay down next to him. Yeah, amen.
It is so Psalm 93. That's what he does. He just is our good shepherd.
He's so good, you know. He's awesome. He quiets our soul. He restores our soul.
Well, that is a beautiful, beautiful testimony.
(19:02):
So, Nermeen, you're getting ready to take off in 10 days.
You've been going through a lot lately. getting packed
up you're selling your home
yes I close in one week actually I'm selling the Lord
said to sell I quit my job and left my career I was
going to be a project manager and last week was my last week
with work it was almost six and a half years of I was growing so much in that
(19:25):
career but it was nothing more fulfilling and purposeful than to be on who God
made you to be it's so true and just walk in that so yeah I do and then in 10
days I go to advanced mission training over in Africa.
Half of it is in Zambia, six weeks, two weeks in Cambodia and four weeks in Vietnam.
I come back fully equipped in Jesus name and I'm going to be on staff for full-time
(19:48):
missions all over the world, whatever the assignment looks like.
As soon as I'm fully funded with monthly partners, then I go.
That's how beautiful, how awesome.
And there is really no joy that compares to the joy of knowing that you're walking
in the plans and the purposes that God literally created for you to walk in.
(20:11):
And nothing compares to it.
When you find that lane that he's created for you to be in that territory,
he says, enlarge the pegs of your tent.
Man, I'm giving you, I'm giving you this territory.
And that's what he's doing for you right now. Now, Nermeen, so this is where
I'd like to camp right now.
(20:32):
How can our listeners partner with you?
And we're going to be dropping all of Nermeen's information into the bio section
so that you can partner with her as she is partnering with Holy Spirit and bringing the kingdom,
to earth. Amen. Yeah, absolutely.

So like you said, it's the work of the body of Christ. I will not be able to
go if I am not supported financially or covered in prayers.
So absolutely, if you feel led by the Holy Spirit to partner with me on a monthly

I have mighty testimonies of how when I laid and the Lord would provide four
times that just right after because he does not owe anybody anything.

He's mighty and he is more than anything else. So yeah, just...
Partner with me financially, pray, cover me in prayers.
If you're not able to do that, please do so because there is a lot of,
you know, scenes where we go to the unreached nations.
This is the organization I'm with, unreached nations where Christianity is banned and illegal.
We go to the places nobody wants to go to. We go to places that nobody can get
(21:40):
to except through a boat or a dirt bike or even through the bushes or villages.
So it's not comfortable. It's very hard. and we
go through a lot but definitely invent your calling can
be this is your opportunity that your calling can
be investing in and supporting the kingdom
of god by expanding it when you support financially a
lot of people this is an opportunity for you to partner
(22:03):
in and just just walk in that calling because
that's that could be your calling and a lot of people
out there yes that's so true their calling is to
just fund the kingdom of god and expand the
gospel throughout the world and so what
what how do you maneuver in areas
that are where christianity is
(22:26):
banned where it's illegal how do you maneuver in those situations out
of you know that's something i think like it is
i'm sure it's very very dangerous and the
church is underground yeah so how how
do you it's definitely by the lead of the holy spirit
every single person he puts on your heart we have a
lot of words of knowledges or he will give you something before
(22:46):
you go out and you chase that excuse me
or literally the holy spirit would be like this is the person that's open and
stops you there and i have a a very short i remember this woman we met and we're
ministering to her and two people in the car right there they wanted to spot
us and security with calm and and question us interrogate us or torture there's
(23:08):
a lot of things that can happen because
it's illegal to minister the gospel in those countries.
The Holy Spirit made sure everyone around, like there was noise out of nowhere,
all of a sudden around us that covered our voices when we were talking to her.
My goodness. Like cars were, you know, the beeps were honking.
Like I'm telling you, it was an hour team was like two, three miles away,
(23:29):
filtered in the spirit that something was happening and they were praying for us.
So it's definitely divine and supernatural.
It is, it can be very intimidating because it's scary.
Scary but but what would the again the
higher the risk of the more the faith and the more the mightier the
lord you you know will will actually help us
maneuver us and actually lead us in the holy spirit just to direct our path
(23:53):
every single step of the way so we just rely on him we know we're covered that's
why i said it's important if you can't financially support make sure you cover
in prayer cover me in prayer cover our team in prayer and everybody's doing
that work it is very important.
Amen. And, and as you pray and as you financially support this ministry, you're a part of it.
You're a part, you're a part of that harvest. And we would just encourage you to,
(24:18):
to be a part of this work that is happening in some of the most dangerous areas of ministry possible.
And I, as you were sharing that story, Nermeen, I was thinking that how you,
We literally cannot lean to our own understanding.
When you're in those situations, it's impossible to lean to your own understanding.
(24:41):
You have to acknowledge Him, Holy Spirit, and you have to know that He's directing
your path to go to whomever He is highlighting in your path to go to.
And when He does that, He will...
He will protect you. Amen. He will protect you. He will. And,
well, it has been, wow, such an honor, honestly.
(25:03):
I'm blessed. Thank you for having me. Such an honor having you here.
And I know that it wasn't easy for you to get here today.
No. There's a lot going on in your life to prepare for.
Exactly how long are you going to be gone?
Three months. Three months. That's obviously right around three months. It's true training.
True training. It's like real training. We camp in tents. We sleep in the bushes.
(25:24):
We will go to villages with a sleeping pad, sleep there to minister to those villages for a few days.
Yeah, you're in Holy Spirit boot camp. Amen. You are Holy Spirit boot camp girl.
Okay. Call to action right now. We are, we are lifting or mean up in prayer.
We are lifting this ministry up in prayer. If you can financially support,

And that's what Jesus said, like that's His commandment before He left.
Go preach, make disciples and tell them about me in Jerusalem,
Samaria, and all the nations.
So that's what we're doing here in downtown Atlanta and downtown Woodstock and
locally, internationally. nationally.

So expand your tent to just like, you know, Pam saying, and yeah,
that's the body of Christ.
