Welcome to the, we assume, much anticipated part two of our episode about that game and that transphobe.
In this installment, Kay Jay leads Shim Sham through the rest of the timeline of events, highlighting some of the unsavory characters involved and how the role of ally is to be filled. (Spoiler alert - allyship is earned through action)
So join us for the remainder of this walk through the world of she who must not be...ugh. We can't even enjoy the puns anymore.
CORRECTION: There is also a need to correct a piece of information regarding the 'Star of David' on the floor of Gringotts bank.
Gringotts was filmed in the Australia House in London. Its where the Australia High Comission is housed - and they filmed there. The symbol is found on the Australian flag, which isn’t a star of david.
However, the choice to keep it in and not just CGI it out (Which, given the amount of effects in the movie, would have been possible) wasn’t the best choice on the part of the production. As such, Jewish critics and activists have also pointed out it falls in with a line of decisions that don’t look great next to the rest of the depictions of the bank and goblins. It’s a full tapestry.
