Happy Tuesday, Everyone! Buffy was one of those shows that genuinely inspired me to become an actor. I have been such a fan and admirer of Charisma Carpenter ever since her iconic performance as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel and it was a treat to sit down with her for a longer conversation. And this was a LONG conversation— in fact, we had so much fun talking, we had Charisma come back and record a second day just so I could ask all the questions I had for her! Charisma is passionate about everything she does and her passion is infectious. We talk about hard lessons she's learned over a long career, how to advocate for yourself on set and how to create healthy conversations around body image with kids. It's a conversation that goes deep fast, and it's also full of laughter! Charisma has a new podcast called The Bitch Is Back, where she is re-watching Buffy and Angel for the first time and reflecting on how her life has changed since those iconic shows first aired.
