39. Checking Mental Health

In our seventh episode of season 4 Pastor John sits down with Dr. Steve Johnson to discuss what a Biblical approach to mental health looks like. This candid conversation centers around the misconception that Christian's and the church don't take mental health seriously. As we examine scripture and discuss of Christ Himself showed us the importance of mental health we will debunk and realign this misconception!

Dr. Johnson is a head of the Albert Ellis institute in NYC as well as head of the graduate school of Psychology at Columbia International University. Dr. Johnson has Doctorates in both philosophy and psychology which he earned after receiving his Masters degrees in marriage and family therapy and historical, philosophical, and comparative studies of education.
