Hulk Hogan was once one of the biggest legends in sports entertainment. Arguably, the industry of pro-wrestling as we know it would not be what it is if not for the man who became such a cultural icon of the 80's and 90's. He transended wrestling and sports entertainment and became one of the most recognisable faces in the world and remained so for decades and until his recent passing. He wasn't always held in the highest regard and it would be hard to argue that he tarnished his own legacy in one way or another in the latter years of his life. He said and did things that would have a great many fans and peers lose respect for him that he would never get back. How much does that take away from his impact on the industry? How does that compare to the millions he would inspire over the decades, especially those whom he would inspire at a young age and become the stars we watch on TV today?
