Today on The Warhorse Journal we talk with Julie Copper of Copper Horse Crusade in Ohio. Julie has worked tirelessly to create a method of saving slaughter bound horses. I know this is a difficult topic, though also know that as champions of the horse, we often see the pleas to rescue horses come galloping across our social media newsfeeds. Today Julie and I will discuss the type of horses that find their way waiting to get on a truck to the slaughter houses and what we can do to help save one more in a responsible way.
