Welcome back to our half way point episode of this fifth season of Theatrical Shenanigans!
Today's play is entitled "Another Life" written by Southern California based writer, improv performer and actor Rob Kirby. Rob has a MFA in screenwriting and is the 2023 Online Improv World Champion. He describes his main goal is to entertain the audience in anyway possible to help provide an escape from life for however long they are there.
When talking about "Another Life" Rob says "This is the first non comedy, straight drama I have ever written in anything. There was no specific inspiration. The idea for the ending popped into my head one day, and months later it was still there. I tinkered around with a few different ways to tell the story to get to the ending, and finally just sat down and wrote it."
