Featured in a special edition of TRUTH IN RHYTHM, Episode 346: Founding member of the iconic all-brothers soul singing group Tavares – Perry Lee Tavares, better known as Tiny Tavares. From their 1973 debut album onward the brothers spent about a decade recording seven Top 20 R&B albums and 20 Top 40 R&B hits. Those included “Check It Out,” “She’s Gone,” “Remember What I Told You to Forget,” “It Only Takes a Minute,” “Free Ride,” “Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel,” “Whodunit,” “Never Had a Love Like This Before,” “Bad Times” and “Deeper in Love.”
Working with some amazing musicians, producers and composers along the way, Tavares continues to perform and delight audiences with their timeless sound.
