För Johanna Kraamer gick vägen till Chalmers via Camp Vera och militärtjänst som flygplansmekaniker. Hanna Monastyrski upptäckte sitt intresse för ingenjörsvetenskap när hon läste tekniskt basår. Båda är i minoritet som kvinnliga studenter på programmen Elektroteknik och IT, men tycker att det oftast har fungerat bra. För att fler tjejer ska känna sig hemma på Chalmers har de jobbat med det årliga evenemanget Camp Vera där de vill bredda bilden av vem som kan bli ingenjör, och locka fram teknikintresset – som en del inte ens vet att de har.
