“Politics and Pigskin: Redistricting and Redbirds”
This morning on Delaware County Today with Steve Lindell, presented by Muncie Community Schools, we dove into two big topics shaping Indiana and Ball State.
First, Dr. Chad Kinsella, Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at Ball State University, joined Steve to break down Indiana’s surprise special session on redistricting — explaining how district lines are drawn, why the Governor called for changes now, and what it could mean for Delaware County voters.
Then, Voice of the Cardinals Mick Tidrow called in with a chirp-chirp update on Ball State football — including next week’s Wednesday night MACtion matchup against Kent State, the road to bowl eligibility, and how the team is using their “mini-bye” to regroup for a strong finish.
🎙️ Produced by Leslie Griffin in the Axia Command Center. 📻 Delaware County Today airs weekdays 8–9 a.m. on WMUN 92.5 FM / 1340 AM, The Talk of Muncie, and streaming anytime at wmunmuncie.com
