לאחר שחוותה את זה על בשרה, היא ליקתה כלים ותובנות מהמסע שלה על מנת לעזור להורים אחרים שעוברים משבר כואב, מטלטל,
כשילדיהם מנוכרים מהם ללא כל הגיון למשכי זמן ארוכים. בתופעה זו הניכור הוא לא רק מהם אלא גם מהמשפחה המורחבת.
לאחרונה היה בכאן 11 תוכנית על ניכור הורי. צופית גרנט העלתה את הנושא לתודעה הציבורית בקידום חקיקה בכנסת, ועם זאת כיום ב 2024 עדיין אין מספיק מודעות או עזרה להורים שחווים משבר כה עמוק ובלתי נתפס.
