Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's to be and Jay replay, and of course you
get extras, including today's Skyvibe report from the sky Vibe
podcast professional astrologer Thomas Miller.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Thomas, what's the vibe today?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Hey? We have a full moon today, Judy, and it's
just before noon this morning, so tonight would be a
great time to see it in the sky if the
clouds give us a break. But from a sky vibe,
this full moon is in the sign of Scorpio, and
those Scorpio moons can be a wee bit heavy. Just
ask Billy, he'll be glad to tell you. And there
could be some surprises for some of us too, And

(00:34):
that goes all week. So what do we do? Well, First,
we stay aware of this through the day and through
the week. It should lighten up a little bit Wednesday,
but today and tomorrow especially tread lighter than normal. You know,
full moons can be Craig cray and have a lot
of grace. People around you could be feeling that Craig
cray and not knowing what to do with it. Watch

(00:54):
your communication could get a little messy today and tomorrow.
Not you and Billy. You guys are amazing and keep
us laughing every morning. I'm talking about at home, at
the office with other people and traffic, et cetera. So
bottom line, enjoy this beautiful full moon if we get
to see it, and mind your p's and queues as
you go through the day. Don't react, just walk away.

Speaker 1 (01:15):

of things astrology that's practical, just find the sky Vibe
Show podcast with myself, Judy Diamond and professional astrologer Thomas
Miller free on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get
your podcasts. So you're in the middle of a job
interview or something like that, and all of a sudden
your stomach starts rumbling. It's so embarrassing. The first thing

(01:36):
you do normally would be to like hold tight tense
your abs to stop it, right, And.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I never know it is my tummy rumbling because I'm
hungry or is it because I have an offset stomach,
And either way it's embarrassing exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
So there is a hack for that, just for the
hack of it, to stop your tummy from brumbling. And
it's the opposite of clenching your abs. What you want
to do is gently push yoursel stomach out like you're
rocking a beer belly and the movement reduces abdominal tension
and shifts internal pressure, calming those embarrassing stomach growls.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Why instantly?

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Why is that? Why does that even happen?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
I'd love to know that, like the science behind that,
Like why does your stomach growl when you're hungry?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Well, apparently the gurgling no noises is known as bubbo.
It's some science word, and it's caused by air and
fluid moving through your digestive tract.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
That's it, Ah, That's why I release the air and
then I feel better.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yes, well, don't do that at a job, intter you
instead push your tubby out.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
That's just for the heck of it.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Some food for thought this morning, Judy. That has to
do with food, eating healthier perhaps, and how it's been
impacted by inflation. This, by the way, a new Pew
research survey pu peop PEWW it is expensive.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
I know this to eat healthy. I've been eating healthy
pretty much my whole life.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Right.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Thirty one percent of us say that the rising food
prices have made it more difficult to eat healthily, or like,
what has it changed the way you grocery shop.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Absolutely, because it used to be that I would get
stuff in advance. But eating healthy means fresh fruits and
vegetables which go bad quickly. So I shop, and I
do more daily shopping than I do weekly shopping.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
I try to eat a lot of salads. They go
bad so fast fast. Yeah, bananas. I mean I have
three upstairs in my house right now where I'm like,
oh jeez, I, I gotta bang that out because it's
like starting to turn black on me all of.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
A sudden, right, exactly, that's the problem with it.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
But here's my follow up question, and I actually found
this even more interesting. When it comes to our top
priority of enjoying food, what comes in at number one.
So if you're going to buy something, what's the number
one reason you're buying it?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Because everybody likes it and we get to share it.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
I mean, it's kind of close the number one reason
we buy something. Eighty three percent of a say it's
the way it tastes. Very important to us. It has
to taste good.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
That's true. That that's true.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Followed up, sixty two percent say by the cost, So well, yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Eighty two percent of us.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Eighty three percent of us decide that we buy something
just because it tastes good, sixty two percent say it's
because of.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
How much it costs.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
And then, finally, coming all the way in last place,
only fifty two percent of us buy it because it's
good for us.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Oh, that's sad, because we've got a problem in the US.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
We need to get healthier.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
There you go, according to the Pew Research Survey, pep
you little food for thought with us.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Philly and Judy of the morning.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
It is garage sales season.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
I know you just had yours at your subdivision neighborhood, correct.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Matt House, And yes, my neighbors across the street actually,
and Derek, I think they raked in thousands of dollars.
I'm very envious, and I'm mad at myself now because
we decided we opted out this time, and I'm not
going to make that mistake next time.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
You know, with the rising prices of everything, a lot
of more people are garage sailing, as I like to
call it, and there's so many We wanted to know
things like what do you look for garage sales? So
the other question was have you ever found something like
some sort of a treasure.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Yeah, the hidden gems now And the reason that I
didn't garage sale, that we didn't take part in the
garage sale is because although we have a nine year
old and seven year old sons at the house, we
don't have the toys that we did when they were
like more like five or six, and that to me
was always gold. At the garage sale, it seemed like
a lot of especially even grandparents, would go garage sailing

(05:25):
to try to find those toys so that they would
have toys they could put at their house when the
grand kids come over.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
It's one of the things that's on a list I
have about things that you should look for that you
might not be able to realize our good deals.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
Okay, so what else will be on the list?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Then, well, this is interesting because the list from Country Living,
and I'll share it is things that you could secretly
be worth a ton. And they bring up toys because
not just toys, but also first edition Barbie somebody found
one for a dollar was worth three hundred and then
toys going all the way up to valued at eight
thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
All so card I can tell you that, ye people,
I forget what the cards are like the weird cards
that kids used to collect.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I think garbage, pale kids, those kind.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Of those are fantastic. Yeah, these were more of like
this Pergamonts. Maybe that's it. Yeah, and there were there
were like people specifically just searching those out the last
time I did do a garage sale.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Now, I will say one of the things on this
list is jewelry, and the reason why is for a
few bucks, you could be buying a ring that looks
like it's costume. Turns out it's worth eight hundred and
fifty thousand dollars. That has been done.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Very interesting. Let me just do this.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Let's share this entire article because this is pretty fascinating
and we are right in the beginnings of garage sales season.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, this is a great one.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I'll share it on our billion Judy Facebook page and
other socials.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
If you're new, it is Billy with.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
A Why and Judy with an eye spring. We'll call
this one out of left field. Hey, maybe that could
be something new with you. With this show new study,
I was showing country's biggest cities, Judy Diamond are sinking
and I'm not just talking. You would assume that would
probably be the case for the cities on coasts yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
You would think, like California or wherever you know that
they're going to the ocean.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
They've conducted a massive study on Apparently this has to
do with groundwater extraction in major cities, right, so they're
going into the ground pulling out the water because you
need it. You have so many people causing land subsidence
or sinking. In every city they studied, at least twenty
percent of the urban area twenty percent sinking. In twenty

(07:32):
five of the twenty eight cities, at least sixty five
percent is sinking, which says will have an impact on
the structural integrity of buildings, roads and bridges and dams
in the near future.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
So basically, if you're in an urban area, try to
move inland.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
I mean, it doesn't really matter. I supposed to get
away from the city apparently. So, for example, in Houston,
more than forty percent of its area is dropping at
about the fifth of an inch per year, twelve percent
sinking twice at that rate. Other cities they say experiencing
sinkage Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Denver, New York, Indianapolis, and Charlotte's.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
I'm moving to Big Sky Montana.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
You gotta be saying there, Ali, shit, I love these
kinds of studies. It's always interesting and there's so much
more we don't get a chance to talk about in
regards to this. So I'm gonna stick this on our
billion Judy Facebook page.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
How's that sing?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Yeah? I want to read all about it and where
I should move to. And if you are.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
New, it's Billy with a y and Judy with an eye.
Shrinkage is not good. The best thing you ever discovered
in the garage sale. You always hear those stories of
someone who buys like a picture, and then they take
the picture out of the frame, and the behind that
picture in the frame is something that's worth like millions
of dollars.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
I mean, I love those stories, and I love treasure hunting.
I found a purse once and I bought the purse
because I thought it was cute. I opened it up
and there was a pearl necklace inside.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Wow, that's pretty impressive.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
I know, I was really excited about it. I still
have the necklace.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
I am one who has never really been a garage sailor.
I did grow up with a garage sailor in my
mom and I do recall and this is something that
to this day haunts me. I grew up in a
very rural small town, and so when you go garage
sailing odds? Are you know the family that you garage
sale from? M hm? Well I go to school with

(09:20):
really cool shirt that I got and then Tim True said, hey,
that's my old shirt.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
See I do. I do have that nightmare when I
go to like Good Willing or through store.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
I'm gonna wear a pair of shoes and people go, oh,
those were mine, and I'm thought, you know what?

Speaker 5 (09:35):
So what there you go? So what best garage sale?

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Five? We're already getting some really fun talkback messages.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
I bought this vintage blazer and I guess the owner
never tucked the pockets, but I found one hundred dollars
in the pocket.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
Why does that sort of thing never happen to me?

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Because you're not looking enough?

Speaker 5 (09:54):
You know there?

Speaker 2 (09:55):
I don't know which is better?

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Is it more fun to go to a garage sale
or go to those you know what do they call
the state sales?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
You can find online? Those are really fun.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Wish that Tim True had left money in his pockets
before my mom bought his clothes.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
I won't scribe best fines you ever had. And then
my follow.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Up question just because I'm kind of curious, why, like,
what are you looking for when you go garage sailing?
Is there something on top of like are you looking
for clothes? Are you looking for furniture? Or are you
looking for what seems to me gold at garage sales
and that's toys for kids?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
That's a great question, or gold? I look at things
that could you could upcycle too.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
There you go, real simple to use the talk back
button on the free iHeartRadio app. We also have the
call nowt button on our Billy and Judy Facebook page.
If you are new to the show Billy and Judy
on Facebook is Billy with a Y and Judy with
any One in five people used the cup holder in
their car for this what is it?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Loose change?

Speaker 4 (10:55):
That would be probably one of my top answers, which
is probably why more than one of five people do that.
I was always told, living in the city, to leave
a little loose change from your cup holder and leave
the window and leave the doors unlocked, and that way
somebody who was going to break in, they could just
open the door. They would take the change of the
cup holder and they move on to the next car.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I'm not ruined your car by breaking a window exactly.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
That is, however, incorrect. Amando against one in five people
to use the cup holder in their car for this?

Speaker 5 (11:23):
But what is this?

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Billy and Judy in the morning looking for some closure?

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yeah, Google Buster questions, and we have Roberts who wants
to play along with this. Robert, where are you call
it from?

Speaker 2 (11:32):
I'm calling from Saint Clair, Missouri, got.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Old Saint Clair.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Judy, do you think that Robert has the skittles it
takes to one of these Rob Thomas.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Tickets, considering his name is Robert and he would be
seeing Rob Thomas.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
I say, yes, okay, fine, Judy has confidence and faith
in you, Roberts. One in five people to use this
the cup holder in the car for this?

Speaker 5 (11:50):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Trash?

Speaker 5 (11:53):
Trash?

Speaker 4 (11:53):
Roberts is absolutely correct. Judy will also admit her cars
full of trips.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah, well, you know, I'm busy.
