real life people in Saint Louis. You laugh, you cry,
and you're inspired, and you can't believe how much talent
we have right here in Saint Louis. It's stories about
moms and what's just completely amazing. PBAs picked it up nationally.
Two of the talents that we have in the studio. Now, Heather,

enough about this show and how it really just gets
to your soul in your heart, and it's more than

and shown all over the country. Spotlighting Saint Louis on
PBS earlier this week, we were talking about jobs that
you don't get paid enough to do, and we have
this message on talkback.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
One job you don't get paid enough to do well.
I'm a teacher, damn.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Yeah, I totally agree with that. My son is a teacher,
and yes, you do not get paid enough. You should
get paid millions as nurses. It is Teacher Appreciation and
Nurse Appreciation Week, so they are businesses that are thanking
teachers and nurses by offering discounts this week.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Teachers Appreciation Week.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Runs through tomorrow and Nurses Week is happening through the twelfth.
Buffalo Wild Wings is supporting workers in both fields with
a twenty percent discount. Teachers can also get a twenty
percent off in store purchases at Staples. Nurses can get
discounts from Nike and Sketchers. Chipotle is inviting teachers and
healthcare workers to sign up for a chance to win

(02:45):
free food through their website, and that's your food for thought.
It talked about the tinker Bell effect and how researchers
were saying that if you believe in your mind first,
if you want to manifest something, believe it for and
then do the work, you're more apt to achieve it.
And I do totally believe in mindset first.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
It's very important.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
If you're telling yourself no, it's not going to happen,
then it may not happen. You got to think positively.
I was, you know, asking, what is something that has
improved your life, your world?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Breathing through my nose, breathing navally at all times, even
especially while I sleep. My sleep has improved like tenfold.
I have a totally different night's sleep now that I
breathe only through my nose. And I wish I would
have known this my entire life.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
That was a message on our talkback feature on the
iHeartRadio app. And my question was, is that because he
has one of those sleep app dea things, Because if
you're asleep, how do you know if you're breathing through
your nose or not? So you must be using what
what are those called? And drying me crazy? And I'm
sure I mean that it would improve, but I guess
you'd have to wear those contraptions that I can't think of.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
The name of.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
What is something that you could share it has improved
your life? On this therapy Thursday to help each other out.
Mother's Day is Sunday. You gotta make sure you get
the right gifts. So there is a list of the
worst gifts what not to get. So here they are
gift cards to stores you like homemade coupon books. I
used to give those when I was little, all right, whatever,

(04:19):
gas stationed flowers, Yeah that's true, leftover.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Holiday candies and it self help books. How two cookbooks?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Don't ever give that cleaning supplies and the number one
gift you should never get a mother for Mother's Day
weight loss products. Trust us, we know we have to
lose weight. You don't have to remind us. Good idea
for great gifts. Homemade gifts is the number one thing
that a mother wants, and special experiences is the next thing,
along with handwritten letters, cards and a day off from

(04:49):
her responsibilities.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
God, I need to share.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Leave it on the iHeartRadio app for you to download
talkback message and we will play them tomorrow along with
your mom shout outs. I'm excited about this and please
don't judge me, and I won't judge you, I promise.
But I did love the show wife Swap, and Bravo
is bringing it back, but with a twist that will
be Wife Swap the Real Housewives edition.

The log line read when a.

Real housewives shoes, All bets are off as two of

out loud moments, personal epiphanies, and an opportunity to see
if the grass is truly greener.

Speaker 2 (05:33):

Speaker 1 (05:34):
It reminds me that show with Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie,
The Simple Life, which I was a fan of. Did
you watch that show? Okay, don't judge me. I'll let
you know when wife Swap. The new Twisted One is
