Speaker 1 (00:03):
Bite, lick and type. This is the Kelly Golden Show podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
With more than two hundred and sixty eight thousand listeners
in over twenty four countries. I appreciate you, and I
want to introduce someone to you. Tim is my health
coach at myphdweightloss dot Com. Tim who's lost over one
hundred and forty pounds on this program. This is the
number one thing people are asking me about when they

(00:32):
see me now, and I'm twenty four pounds down, that
is a drop in the bucket to your one hundred
and forty five. We got to get into what my
phdweightloss dot Com is. How are you congratulations?

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Oh great? Thanks? Jelling one hundred and.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Forty five pounds. This isn't something to sneeze at. And
I constantly say to people, what is your why? Like
why are you waiting? What will it take for you
to go to my phdweight loss dot Com pick up
the phone and talk to people like Tim? What's the why?
What was your why? For me?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
My cancer had become aggressive after I had retired, and
I was too big to operate on and at the
last minute I thought out I was too big for
the radiation table. So although I was very tired and
I was sort of okay with dying, which is a shame.
I'm embarrassed to say, I did not want to die
like that. So I went to PhD and I'd never
looked back. I had such a good experience that I said, Hey,

(01:21):
I got to come out of retirement, I got to
work here. So for me, cancer was actually a blessing.
And not many people can say that.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
That's incredible, and one hundred and forty five pounds is incredible,
and a lot of people and they hear big weight
loss totals like that, think oh it's a needle, he's
getting injections. There are no pills, no needles, no injections.
My PhD weight loss is all natural.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
It is natural. We take a very holistic approach because
it is mind and body, and if someone is not
mentally engaged in the program, it's not going to work.
And for me to lose one hundred and forty five
is found. When I said I was in the program
in twenty twenty two, I mean all of twenty twenty two.
It's a slow process, but I didn't gain it overnight.
I wasn't going to lose it overnight, and you just

(02:03):
got to stay determined. If you follow the plans, you
will lose weight.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
And I love Tim that you're all in now literally
now my health coach sharing your success story, I get
to share my success story. You can actually go to
my psgue weight loss dot com and listen to other
success stories too. And I'm curious, Tim, my health coach,
how is keeping the weight off going? Because I've hit
a goal now and I'm wondering moving forward, am I
going to be able to keep this weight off? This

(02:26):
is another question people ask me.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I'll try every diet out there et step one and
I won't name it. And I always lost weight to
regain it. In between my daughter's weddings, I put weight
back on. I couldn't sustain it. This is the only
thing I've done that's been sustainable. It gets to a
point where it's not about the panels you've lost, it's
how good you feel. I'm doing stuff I haven't done
in twenty years. That's a good.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Feeling, sleeping better, looking better, feeling better. Tim the knowledge
and education that I've learned because I've done all the
diets too. We could go down the list of them
that you're talking about as well. Likely, but that's the
point in mentioning them when we all know you put
the weight back on in the end. So I'm being
re educated in a way that I never, frankly in

(03:08):
the first place, realized that I didn't know what I
didn't know. I guess, yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Not about all count calories. Well, we'll never ask you
to count calories. Of course you're going to be calorie
deficient to drop weight, but we don't want you concentrating
on that. We just want you to eat healthy. If
you eat to feel your body and not to feed
your emotions, you will be successful.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
And boy do I love food.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
I just we all love food. But when you get
to maintenance, you can enjoy some of those foods. You
bring them back, but you prioritized I love to go out,
I can have Ribbi on this program. I want the
baked potato that goes with it during weight last and
then break your heart, there is no baked potato. But
when you get to maintenance, so you're going to sustain
the rest of your life, that baked potatoes there. But
you know what, I prioritize it. I only have half

(03:50):
of it. I still get to satisfaction of having this,
I just don't eat as much. But to be honest,
I don't want as much.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I have cheated because I'm human on this program when
it comes to foods that I'm not suppoked. I mean
because I started this literally the day after Thanksgiving, like
the week after Thanksgiving, so I had to get through
Christmas and I'm like, all right, I really want some
of this mac and cheese. And I took one spoonful
and that was it, and I got back on the
program the next day.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Kelly, it's progress, not perfection. None of us are perfect.
You're going to have those days, but you want to
limit it and you shouldn't be hungry on the program.
So if you have a craving, you know it takes
six or seven weeks to break a habit. It takes
one or two occurrences to French gum roaring back. But
when you don't have access, you had to bite it
back and cheese. If it's not at your house, you
don't have access to anymore. I would encourage you not

(04:35):
to do that. I call them belts, bite, lick, and taste.
They all add up to minutively. So you got to
be careful, but the weight loss phase is probably the hardest.
The maintenance phase is the most important. That's for the
rest of your life.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
You see how Tim's my coach. I certainly keep you entertained. Tim,
I have no doubt we talk about some crazy Tim.
I don't even know if I want to go there
on some of the things that we talk about, because
I'm sure you've heard it all. So you losing one
hundred and forty five pounds on this program, not only
are a believer, you now work for my PhD weight

(05:09):
loss dot Com.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Go there.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
There's a phone number that you can pick up the
phone and talk to people like Tim and ask your questions.
And frankly mentioned my name, It's Kelly Golden. When you
mentioned my name, you get a free two weeks. So
that's important. We like free.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
We like a deal, of course, but more importantly you
get healthy.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, there are people who have gotten off of drugs.
There are people who have gotten off of their seapaps.
What do you have to lose? It's, you know, other
than weight. There's a lot, really And if I.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Came off two prescriptions for like high blood pressure and
some of my hard stuff. But the biggest thing. The
biggest difference in my life is I came off of
my seapap. I lost the weight, I got a little confidence.
I started dating a little bit, and do you know
how liberating it is not to strap up to a
seapap machine if you're dating. I felt like Tom Cruise
and Top Gun, I'm masking up in this thing and

(06:00):
you don't have to do that. That was the biggest
change for me. It's so nice and I'm sleeping fantastic.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
That's a funny analogy because in Top Gun those are
hot and the seapap is not.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
No, it's not. You're right. I appreciate you pointing that out.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
The sea PAP's not sexy. Like I'm just gonna say
it out loud, this is the out loud art. Well nobody, Yeah,
who in the world was like, yeah, I really like
wearing my seapap and how it digs into my face.
And so we do talk about the quiet stuff out loud,
and that's what the weekly coaching sessions are all about.
With my PAHG. I do like that too, because at

(06:35):
first I was a little bit like, oh man, this
is something I gotta do, and then I realized, oh no,
I got questions, so I need some tweaking here or
it's just nice each week to have someone to talk
to to keep you accountable.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
To accountability is a big things, all.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Right, Tim, Well, thank you for spending a little bit
of time with us here. And it's kind of cool.
We've got fans listening in Japan. Tim, So now you
might have to sign some autographs for people I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
There we go, I'll happy do it.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, you're healthy, that's right, let's get healthy. So it's
my phdweight loss dot com. And by the way, people
can do this anywhere nationwide.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
It's the bulk of our business, to be honest.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
That's fantastic. So my phdweight loss dot com. Go check
out pictures of Tim there. You can see Tim before
and Tim after. It's my phgeweight loss dot com. Be
sure to mention my name if you give them a
call at the eight six four number I mentioned. It's
six four four nineteen hundred. It's Kelly Golden. Thank you, Tim.
I'm sure I'll be talking to you here later on
this week about well, Lord, I'll keep a surprised sound great,
