Speaker 1 (00:00):
Sure on your resume could fit on a cocktail napkin,
and Andrew your failures could fill a public school library
in New York City. This is the Kelly Golden Show
podcast powered by Disaster Plus.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
On a Big fail Right California refugee now Charlestonian Philip
Graham in New York City for the final face to
face debate in the New York City Mayors raise, What
are you doing there?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Yeah, I'm in New York City to meet with some
supporters of the company that I'm lucky to work for,
the Media Research Center. But the Media Research Center was
founded by Brent Bozell, the Great Brent bozel Our mission
is the document combat the false physion censorship of the
news media, entertainment media, big tech in order to defend
and preserve America's founding principles and Judeo Christian value. So

(00:49):
we expose a lessling media bias like nobody else.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Well good, I'm glad to hear it. So let's get
into this. Philip Cammy mum Donnie promising free bus a
thirty dollars per hour minimum wage. Kudos to Curtis Leewi,
I will say for calling him out on that saying
someone's got to pay for this.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yeah, I was able to see at the front center
with a bunch of New Yorkers. It was fascinating, very scary.
I thought the politics in California were bad, but it's
it's some way worse than New York.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
That must have led to some interesting conversations.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
The thing that kept coming up in my mind was
the similarities to California. I am from California, born and raised,
and I'm a refugee, as you said, and how California
has gone off the edge and it's become somewhat unlivable.
But it's a place where my all, my friends and
family have either left California or or are leaving, and

(01:43):
I see New York on the exact same spot.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Back to the debate stage, they're clashing over not just affordability,
but Israel and immigration and even President Trump. Now, this
one stuck out to me when Kami mom Donnie actually
called former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Donald Trump's puppet
and then said he was a washed up politician who
was desperate for power. What do you think about that?

Speaker 3 (02:05):
So, sitting in the audience, Cuomo is clearly not liked
by most New Yorkers, but from my point of view,
he founded the most professional, most able to probably run
a difficult city like New York. Then again, he's losing
in the polls. Mndami's clearly in the lead, and what
mdami did was very smart. He knew he was leading,
so he just decided not to make any mistakes. He

(02:27):
didn't answer any tough questions. He dogged multiple questions and
basically smiled, and he didn't say a whole lot. He
attacked a few times, but he knew he was in
the leads. Though he didn't have to really go on
a limit anything.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
I'll give it to Cuomo. He hit back. He called
the self proclaimed socialist inexperience and a threat to Jewish people.
And I know that you were there watching with Jewish conservatives.
I'd be curious what they had to say about that.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
They are outraged at the possibility of someone like Mndami
getting into office. Absolutely, Mdammi is clearly anti Semitic. He
has refused to condemn the terms globalizing. At Desada, he
is essentially praised to mos So the Jews in New
York are rightfully scared.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Republican challenger Curtis Leew. I'll give it to Curtis here.
He actually took Cuomo's side on that and said, my
own kids are Jewish and they're afraid of what will
happen if mom Donnie wins.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah. I tell you. It's sort of like in California,
through most of California, if you have an R Republican
next to your name when you run, you can't win.
That's just the fact. And it's the same in New York.
And so Sleevo for me. I would vote for him
over the other two very easily, but his polling's not there.
And the other problem is that they're going to split

(03:43):
the vote. So the right thing if one of them
should have dropped out, either Sliva or Cuomo, they didn't,
which is going to lead a right to a Mandamie
election win. So it's a mess. I think that Madamie's
going to win hands down, and you're going to see
a exodus of New York, just like a staffen in California.

(04:03):
Next step. The one exception is if you have enough money,
you can live above the fray and you can have
your private schools and your drivers, and you don't have
to deal with the socialist policies, marksist communist policies of Mandami,
similar to California.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
So Philip Graham mentioned it, He's now a low counter
resident upon fleeing Gruesome Newsom's calmedy Fournia joining us from
New York City. So Early Ring starts tomorrow, that's Saturday,
and then you've got election day quickly approaching on the
fourth of November. What was the conversation like between you
and these New Yorkers when you said I had to

(04:39):
flee my own state and you're on your way. You
literally watched the death spiral of California and had to
flee you.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Well, I prefaced my conversation with them as you don't
want to hear this, because they don't want to hear
that their states or their city is ruined and there's
no way out of it. There is no way out,
just like California. California. Point on California is the state
legislature is a supermajority Democratic Party is not a single
state elected Republican and that just leads to more socialist policies,

(05:10):
which leads people like me leaving New York City is
exactly the same place. I think it's actually worse some
of the things that the candidates talked about. It just
showed you. I mean, what a complete mess New York is.
From housing to affordability, to crime, the homeless, to education.
There's all the things that matter to voters. And that's
the same thing at California. That's why I left for

(05:32):
those reasons alone. So I think actually New York is worse,
and a Mandami win is going to accelerate that downward
spiral into the abyss. It's so sad.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
What do you think, Philip about the argument that him
winning the mayor's race in New York City could actually
be positive for Republicans in winning the governorship in the state.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
First of all, I don't believe that his style of
politics is going to spread to other states. I just
don't see it. That's not who America is. So New
York is going to be somewhat unique in that. But
you're right, this is a gift to the Republican Party.
And there's some people will say, let him win and
let people watch me or dissolve into a socialist hellhole,

(06:14):
and then it'll show the rest of the country. Please
don't do this. I am on that side. I think
it's so sad, but you get what you vote for, right,
and you're going to see New York dissolve and it's
going to be a gift to the Republican Party.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yeah, they're talking about least Stephonic and how this could
be good for her and to run for governor in
New York. So, Philip, what are your thoughts about Many
were saying, well, Clomo is the Independent, why doesn't he
drop out as opposed to the Republican.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Well, you're right, one of them should have dropped out.
The Republicans do this far too often, where we split
the vote and we have people with big egos aside. No,
I'm not going to drop out. He should drop out
and then the Democrat win. So this was an unforced
error on the the Republican side, but the non communist side,
and you're going to see the results of it very soon.
To be interesting to watch and very sad.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Anything else before I cut you loose, I know you've
got to go get a plane and get out of
New York City.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
It's a beautiful city and it's one of them. It's
one of the world's great studies. There's no question. And
my fear that I think is going to come true.
If the voters of New York City are about to
vote in a person that's going to lead to high crime,
anti senitism, failed social experiments that never work, and hopefully

(07:28):
people learn from this. It's incredibly sad to see, and
I know they're going to you know, there are other places.
You don't have to come to the Low Country. You
can also go to Florida. So how about that.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
You know, there's one thing that was very sobering for
me to read That was a take from a Senator
Tim Sheehey out of I believe Montana Republican. He said,
Zorin Mondani is the real leader of the Democrat Party
and Chuck Schumer is working for him. I thought that
was quite interesting given the government shutdown. This is all about,
he said, the survival of Chuck Schumer in his prime.

(08:00):
I'm mary that he's going to lose to AOC and
it's about a party that has lost a message and
has no messagers.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Well, you know, I'm not the only person who says this.
Democrats say this Democratic Party is defeated. And if there's
one thing you can say out of the many great
things that Donald Trump has done, he's destroyed the Democratic Party.
And here's a great example. You've got a communist Marxist
winning the mayorship of New York City. It is a
gift and I think it's just going to mean that

(08:27):
the Republicans are going to win more and more across
the country.
