Movers and Shakers - Ellen Pomer

Ellen Pomer is the Co-President of the volunteer-based group the Wilton-Lyndeborough Women’s Club and its initiative Wilton-Lyndeborough Cares. After over 44 years at an abrasive manufacturing company in Massachusetts, she retired in 2018 to spend more time with her family and give back to her community. As Co-President of the Women’s Club, Ellen has helped organize several community fundraising events in Wilton and Lyndeborough. Their latest initiative Wilton-Lyndeborough Cares, began in response to COVID-19, helping food insecure residents and supporting essential businesses. Since the initiative began it has grown to over 70 volunteers proving the impact that a community can have when they come together and support each other.
