Movers and Shakers - Sharon Chin

Sharon immigrated to the US with her family at 11 years of age from Taiwan and grew up in Los Angeles. She attended the University of California at Berkeley. After graduating with a double major in Neurobiology and Chinese Literature, she switched career from scientific research to business, working as a commodities trader for the first few years. Then she transitioned to health care and built a career in pharmaceutical and biotech industry in various roles, including sales, science consulting, and corporate learning & development–all the while building a personal portfolio of real estate investments. Sharon is also a performing artist and currently resides in San Diego.
