Speaker 1 (00:31):
There you go, there you Kevin. We don't care about

Speaker 3 (00:41):
And she likes it. I guess she could have it
if she wanted. It's been back there for shoot, that's
pretty copy.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
That wig is like six years old.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
The chat said, highly.

Ope, she's got you all right, all right, Well, and Lee,
it's gone And this is a short run on that,
but we got a jam back show for you today. Obviously,
the cameos galore. Teddy's not the only child that pumps
up on this podcast. You never know what's gonna happen.

sort of upcoming video game adaptations in the work, Spider
(01:17):
Punk potentially getting turned into a movie, and you know,
just talking about ESPN and WW and how our Bob
Pockets Man they're gonna be hurting a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Mine will, but not as much because I had a
work around.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Okay, well maybe you'll pass that on to Hoodie and I.
We'll enjoy that.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
We definitely will.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
That is true architect, That is true.
Speaker 2 (01:40):

Kind of cool. It's wild because you're like, oh, dead

one old man yelling at Cloud. It's why I'm gonna
rename it after this podcast. There's me going ooh, there's
a Teddy one, and there's multiple other Kevin ones of
(02:58):
course as well.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
You don't have to Cloud on the way home. Like
why is traffic always dumb?
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Not bad?
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Is dumb? Also?
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Why is it just cloudy and it's not gonna rain?
Pick pick pick pick an option.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, it's been a it's been an odd week of weather.
Like it's been pleasant, it's been.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Like cool, it's been nice, but it's dark. So I
feel like we're we're in Forks, Washington, Twilight love it? Kevin?
Did I tell you also that, uh, you know how
a lot of the movies have like blank movie in concert,
Like last year I went to Avatar in concert. I
think last week wolf Trap, which is in the DMV,
(03:36):
had Back to the Future in concert. There's a Twilighting
concert coming the Friday of Hallow weekend this year in DC,
and I'm really trying to convince more like, Hey, we're
not gonna go out till Saturday. Let's be fancy and
get our Halloween on by watching some Twilight in concert.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Man, how many shows?
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Just so one off? So like, do you think there's
a shot that the closing the closing Oh no, no,
it's it's it's a one in DC, but it's a tour.
So but it lurked out that we're the Halloween one
like that, that's we're the only one that weekend, So you.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Think it's a shot even that one or the one
in d C where the closing number is a Paramo
comes out just does.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
My one regret was not going to see Paramore when
they came to d C lost and I was like,
I really should have just asked for tickets. Are gone
so cool. It's a secret to light.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
What is about that band that transcends? Transcendentder generations? Like
they're kind of like an alternate Lincoln Park.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
I feel like, exactly, you know what I mean, the punkier,
you know, poppier and punkier, you know exactly. It also
is weird.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I don't know if it's just.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Because you know, in my thirties by like a jam
jam a lot to Lincoln Park. Whenever it's on our
front station of DC one O one, I'm like, oh,
ny eight rocks.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
It's sad.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
It's a little inside radio, but it's sad now because.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
If you if you use what like the years of
you know, when of Neusic came out to classic rock,
like say when we were kids, Now Lincoln Park is
classic rock.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Well that's a whole debate too, and that's the state
of radio of why classic rock is still playing stuff
from the seventies when and why certain variety stations are
not playing the two thousands even then just playing about
the eighties.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Because if you listen like to R and B stations
like like like what is it in DC's whu R
they're playing Biggie? It was like, why is Biggie classic?
Speaker 2 (05:27):
R and B?
Speaker 1 (05:28):
I hate Soldier Boy. That's that's almost classic down too.
Practically years ago it's crazy. Oh just made everyone age
because soldier boy tell them twenty years old. Anyway, we
started the podcast probably it was something we like to
call what you're doing besides aging. So we're talking about
the shows and movies. We've been watching the games, we've
(05:49):
been playing lives, we've been living. Man, what you've been
doing besides aging? That's a life statement, life question right there.
Tell your therapist that one. Well, well it's been a week.
It's been a week, and I'm a week older.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
It has been a week.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Dark talks, dark thoughts were positive here. We're positive here.
But because of his Thursday yep Bo gets to go first,
happy to say tomorrow as this podcast recording, more will
return home. And I'm happy because, uh, you know, once
you go, it's it's a very funny TikTok I've seen.
I think it's because TikTok listens to me where it's like, oh,
(06:29):
Day one, Yeah, we're doing it. I'm gonna eat Popeyes
and I'm gonna stay up late and I'm gonna do whatever.
Day two you're like, all right, I'm still doing a
Day three, you're like okay. Day four, like.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
I wish she was back. It never fails.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Whenever Alicia go out, goes out with my sister Laura
mom on one of their old day shopping trips.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
This is great. And then around like four hours, I'm like,
all right.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Come here out, you're coming back, right, coming back, right?
You get me a souvenir tool. But it's excited for
more to be back. But because she's not here, your
boy gets to watch anything he wants forever. So I'm
happy to say dragon Ball Super officially finished. We watched
(07:13):
it all spoilers, Kevin, you've watched super right, or.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
No, don't watch about I've read tiktoks.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah yeah. Android seventeen won the tournament Power, which was
Dope Freezer still in place so much that I watched
the movie dragon Ball Super Broly, which revisionists revised the
Brole movies from back in the day. This one was okay.
I think it was cool to see Braley as a
as a brute and now that the skinny punk that
(07:42):
somehow turns into a brutal all of a sudden.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
He was mad because Google kicked him as a baby.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
You remember that dog, Yeah, I remember that. But it
was cool that that movie, which is on Hulu too,
all of it's on Hulu, so if you're trying to
watch all the series, watch it now. It was cool
because like the first like twenty minutes and it really
was just a very long episode instead of like a movie,
was like a deep dive on Planet Vegeta. So it
was like cool of like, oh, like, how is the
(08:10):
Sayans born? And how's Bardock? You know, how was he
with Goku and Radits because you forget Radits was Goku's
biological brother, and he said, you kill you.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
The sayings man that they are. They are doozy of
a race. I'll say that much.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
That would be an interesting plot line, like we brought
back Radits and we're gonna rehabilitate them. That'd be cool.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
That me interesting, like like I'm gonna kill you.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
I'm coming. But yeah, So now all I have left
in Dragon Ball's Dima, which is the thing that the
series that came out last year and ended this year.
That's also on Hulu now, so if you're trying to
watch it, check it out. The dub is out now,
and it is funny because typical anime super is so
the last episode of dragon Ball Z is set ten
(08:57):
years in the future. Super takes place up to like
five years and then this takes place like a year
after Dragon Ball Z, so it's it's a whole thing,
which is fun. Timelines.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
The Dragon Ball Z timeline is awfully flowed because now
they just ignore Dragon Ball GT.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Which well that's the thing they like. They were like, hey,
we are stopping here and that would be the start
of GT, but we're not. We're not confirming that, we're
not confirming we're going there yet. So and I know
it was weird.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
And kid again and all that kind of stuff, but
I really enjoyed the storyline when he became super say four,
that was awesome.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Well, and that's the thing too. A lot of DIMA
kind of takes bits and pieces of that for sure
from what I've seen already, So it'll be interesting, like
if they do a read GT or whatever they do
as like the after of like what they do. But
on top of that, your boy did get the platinum
for God of War Ragnarrok, which was great because I
(09:51):
had the right armor sets did it boom. I was like, hey,
killed the King, let me go kill the Valkyrie. Got
her in one take and then finished the Mussulheim trailer Trials,
so we finished it started Valhalla. I don't think the
heal is for me, so it was already like, oh,
first five minutes in, I don't like this.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
It's a bit rough.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
It's like so I was like, no, what, I'm going
to see what happens on YouTube.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
I'll enjoy that. But yeah, that's all I've been doing. Kevin,
You good sir. What you been doing?
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Well, I just realized that, I don't know if you
realize this.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
The white range of power Coin was a lot like
Materials mass right, who's not jumping it does?
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Also in lieu of that, Kevin, how excited are you
that Power Rangers coming to Fortnite this season?
Speaker 3 (10:34):
It's interesting. I don't think it's still going to compel
me to play Fortnite just because it sucks because.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
I've missed a boat.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Tommy is locked behind the battle Pass. You got to
buy the battle pass if you want the white and
Green Ranger.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Well, he's also the red and the black one.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Well, they're only doing Mighty morphin right now, Kevin, so
you we're not there yet. They just got him there.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Other than that, I haven't been doing much of this
week since we last recorded, I've been trying to focus
on my diet a lot more recently. Yesterday I came
out I was just really creaming the burger. I want
to burger so bad.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
But I didn't like to go down to Burger. Can't
get a double wapper up.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
I just get rid of the baby that that will
help a lot.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Burger made a turkey burger.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
And then I also use this high its low calorie,
high fiber, high fiber bread that tastes the same with regular.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
But the tortillas are good too, that it's like the
same type of thing.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I've used that.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
And then also I found out that if you know
you go to grocery store and see the frozen fries section, yes,
Nathan's hot dogs fries are probably the best for you
because like there's nothing in them, like everything when you
look at like I did, I mean, and it really
hit the spot to the point where I fell asleep
on the sofa. I fed into a dad sleep.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
It was bad.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Don't wake him up, guys, don't wake off sleep there and.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Then and then it was had a odd night last
night here had a nightmare. Leea had a nightmare, and
I was just like, man, and I love my kids
but I also would love to get straight.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
You know, please never, Kevin, you got wait ten more
years until you get there.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Leave me alone.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
I care.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
So I ended up getting up early this morning and
watching Brooklyn nine nine until time to go to work.
I haven't been able to watch it since the actor
that played Captain hold Pastor, so I'm happy I was
act to get to be able to get into it
and laugh again because he definitely is the the catalyst
of that show, kind of almost like the m v
P to the other shenanigans that are going on with
(12:32):
the show. So I watched a lot of Brooklyn nin
nine this morning, so I'm like, well, get some revision
next now, Michael Shark got me again.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Dangon, there you go. What show are you watching with
the fan right now? Like, do you guys have a
show you guys watched at like eight or whatever right
before bed? For everybody lately, it's been.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
Because we're planning, except on The Money Show, where we're
planning on Disney cruisers next May. Ladies, we've been watching
a lot of fireworks Disney.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
We won't be near any of these fireworks, but you
know what, it's good. Cheers up at the end of
the day.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Because we have we have the what she wants to
call it, the Govie back light on our TV. So
watching that with the fireworks and dark, actually it's pretty cool.
So watching that. We watched Fantastic last night. We want
to try to find We're not sure what what the
Disney World fireworks are called. What we're trying to find
what it was it called on I'm a Disneyland. I
mean I watched those. See what that's like.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Well, actually, because of Disneyland and their seventieth anniversary, they
have walkthroughs of the lands and everything. Yeah, it might
be a cool thing for you guys to watch.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah, we watched those are pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Actually, why we didn't go Disneyland one day?
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Guys, we just booked the crews. Okay, we can't.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Well it's funny, it's weird to say this because they're
both terribly expensive. It's cheaper to go to Disney World.
Need to go to Disneyland because that's light.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Oh yeah, it's five hundred dollars flight itself. So I
looked it up.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
I was like, you sure we won't go to Disneyland
because we can we can go to the boat and
we can get there for a lot cheaper, and then
we go across the country because I think when we
went to E three, I paid like three eighty round
trip to California.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
It ain't three eighty no more.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
It ain't no more, baby, it's it's a bit much.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
I was like, I don't know, because then with with Kira,
it was hard enough getting herd to relax for a
two hour flight. I don't know what I'm gonna do
a six hour flight. Might give give her, give her
melaltone or something.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Like that, because across the country.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
But other than that, also reacting to want to get
into is now that this wrestling news is just crazy
and not even know this wrestling news also Disney app
news because apparently they get rid of whol next year
as well.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
So yeah, what is happening. Well, let's get on into it,
because it is time for the news man. First things first,
I figured out we can do polls now recordings, so
you can enjoy that. And anytime I Kevin's talking and
I can think of a question that Kevin just said,
(15:06):
I'm gonna make a question. So your vote matters, your
vote matters. Do you prefer Disneyland or Disney World? You vote,
and I don't know what it means, but you can
enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
You can use me the vote when you use the motes,
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
There you go. We'll figure that out. We'll figure that out,
but we need to talk about is coming for anyone
using Peacock or someone else's peacock to watch w W
because they've partnered with ESPN slash Disney, so it kind
of worked hand in hand there that starting in twenty
(15:39):
twenty six, pl e's pay per views like WrestleMania money
in the bank, pretty much all of them will be
exclusively streaming on their new ESPN app. It's a weird
like digital media something blah blah blah. But whoever the
new Disney or ESPN app will be is where you
have to do it. But the unfortunate thing is that
(16:02):
app thirty dollars a month to watch.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Things also real quick. So I remember had a phone
like like in two thousand and they got two thousand
and seven, they had an ESPN phone. It's called m VP.
It was weird, nobody bought it. We're the best by
the time. But yeah, is the ESPN's gonna be three
dollars a month and that's another streamer if you're in
the sports that you're gonna.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Want to get.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
They are also because I have the ESPN I mean
the Disney Bundle, so I have Hulu and Plus plus
an ESPN, So my ESPN Plus is getting turned into
an ESPN app or whatever. But the ESPN Plus account
I have converted to a Select Plan, that's what it's called.
Select Plan's like eleven nine nine a month. Fortunately, that
Select Plan does not have access to the pl e's
(16:47):
live every month, so it's kind of a you know,
you gotta get you come and get you going type
of thing.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Then they also acquired ANYTHONWLE network.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Which is, yeah, where where all this money coming, Disney,
But it also explains why it's thirty dollars because all
that stuff too, not just ww But the interesting thing
is thirty dollars a month is expensive because remember like
back in the day, pay per view was like sixty
bucks on like you had Direct TV or what any
(17:16):
of those channels that usually you would go to a
bar or something to watch it because then the bar
would just pay sixty bucks and be able to put
it on one hundred TVs or whatever. Nowadays, you can't
really do that so much I've learned because of Eric
and other people who own bars and stuff like that.
But interesting thing is it mainly we wouldn't use the
ESPN app unless it was for the ww stuff. At
(17:36):
this point. The interesting thing we've learned throughout the day,
because I got announced like this morning, like six am,
really is apparently if you have ESPN already paid for
in your cable package like a FiOS or cocks, you
will get access to the app I don't know from
what they were saying, which includes the WWE content.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
It's kind of like if you have if you paper
came and.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
You have HBO and HBO yeah yeah, like.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Or email AMC you have exit of those apps. That's
how it was gonna work. So you've already if already
paid for cable, or if you have like Sling TV
which has a span in the package, you're fine. It's
us other slackers that have to pay thirty dollars a month.
But I found a workaround.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Well, first, before we get to your workaround, make sure
you talk to your parents, who most likely still pay
for cable uh and tell them, hey, this is how
you set this up, and share the password because we
would want Dresslemania next year.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
You know, logins, get them log ins. Yes, I'm sure
your six year old dad is not going away for cable.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
He wants the cable. He wants to watch his news.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
He wants just Sports Center Sports Center. Yes, Now, Kevin,
what is your workaround?
Speaker 3 (18:48):
So my workaround is this? This this agreement only pertains
to the United States worldwide. WWE is still streamed excuseiuvely
on Netflix.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
So if you live in everything, not just raw but everything.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
H everything Mexican.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
If you live in Mexico, Canada, you live in the UK,
you live in Saudi Arabia, whatever, where to go. Everything
you watched from WW comes from Netflix. So what I'm
gonna do is it gonna called it some money by
thirty dollars a month, but before twenty seven a month,
a NordVPN account will be mine. And I want to
start logging into Netflix in the UK. So WWE as
(19:26):
much as I want to.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
And this is not sponsored by Nord but Nord VPN
if you would like to sponsor this podcast, apparently now
we're open to sponsorship.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
So and this is this is a thing that's been new.
Like if you watch other podcasts on YouTube or listen
to the podcasts. RDVPN has been a sponsored for a
lot of podcasts, and they're literally telling you, hey, if
you want to watch your favorite shows that are on
Netflix in America, get north again so you can log
into Netflix somewhere else.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yeah, Like I uh, when more and I traveled to
Italy and in London and all that stuff. It is
fun just to see, like, what's what does Netflix have
over there that we don't because usually like Peacock and
mother apps don't work there because that's really just the
US mostly app So it's interesting, like oh yeah, like
a like say, all the Shrek movies would be on Peacock,
but they're all on Netflix there, or like all these
(20:11):
other movies, like oh this is pretty dope.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Now, I don't the one thing I do not know?
I know, I like, if I watched.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Uh, I mean Man out of Mexico, I'm getting the
Mexican announcers. I'm pretty I'm.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Like, if you watch the UK version, it's probably yeah,
k it's.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
Still Michael Cole with them, I'm pretty sure. But other
than that, that's gonna be my work around. And nor
VPN I thought to be really expensive like, oh, this
is this, this is down right.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Affordable an okay, yeah, we can only give them so
much of an air check, you know.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
I'm sorry, but I'll let you know if it works
once once I downloaded to a TV, make.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Sure everything's good. Well, you'll try that path. I will
try the bomb guarding off my dad path. So it's
what I do for every other streaming sir is with
Mora's parents are our parents my parents?
Speaker 3 (21:02):
So and also go back to there to be stuff.
Apparently the rights to NXT stuff is still like up
in the air. They're not going to go on totally
the ESPN. They may go to Peacock, they may go
somewhere else, So that's still up in the air.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
Yeah, I assume SmackDown. They did say rab was still
on Netflix and SmackDown still in USA. I have a
feeling and upcoming future SmackDown will be on like a
we'll just say Hulu or well not Hulu not who's
a bad example that Yes, not nocause that's that's that
would be what that it'd be on like Prime Video
(21:35):
or something there you go, that's different. Yeah, uh and
then you have to have both. But Prime video you
have that, you also have Twitch Prime you can subscribe
to us, which is nice. It all comes around back
to that. But the other interesting thing is out of
all this news like that Disney and W and ESPN
had is Hulu will be fully absorbed by Disney Plus
in twenty twenty six. So enjoy your little green logo.
(21:58):
Uh what does that mean if you did have basic
Disney Plus versus Disney Plus Hulu. I don't know. We'll
we'll find out how to get there. But Hulu the app,
a little block on your phone or your Xbox or
PlayStation won't exist. All be on Disney Plus, which I
think makes sense. I mean, it's all practically there. Unless
it's like anime or something that's not that wouldn't be
(22:19):
on there.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
I did it to go. Now, everything that's on Hulu
you can watch through Disney Plus. They kind of already
did it. Now, just gonna say, okay, never get away
with this platform. I guess it makes sense too. I
don't know how many servers Hulu has compared to Disney Plus,
but I guess if we have all the Adam, all
the Disney Plus and we find.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
And we'll go, we'll pay tribute and say thank you
for your service. Hulu. For the longest time, it was
U and Netflix and that was it, and you will
go quietly into the night.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Hu was the place we watched TV today. After it
was like, sweet, okay, what a time.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
I miss I don't know West Wing and the West And.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
If you refreshed right before the ad played, you would skip.
The ad would be in the next segment. Now anymore.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
It was also what a time?
Speaker 1 (23:01):
We were watching our laptops. We didn't have anything else,
No Roku's no nothing, What a time?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
What a time? The early days of streaming. It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
But speaking about what a time, let's talk about a
time in a galaxy far far away in a long
time ago. Exactly because Star Wars Starfighter aka that spin
off movie that has Ryan Gosling and was the director
and who's the director, Charlie Sean Levy. There you go,
(23:33):
and me a goth just added one guy who plays
a real good villain, Jones, who's the villain, Matt Smith
is officially cast in Star Wars Starfighter.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Matt Smith, professional villain.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Professional villain, slash guy. You loved a but you love
to watch it the same time.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Another guy who can played Ready Gorton in a bile
pick about his movie.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
It would work work. But according to our friends of Deadline,
Smith has been cast as the villain in this Galaxy
Far Far Away spin off. Smith will play one of
multiple villain characters that Sean Levy said he's on the
hunt to fill all at least to fill at least
one more role after this, because apparently Honora's Mickey Madison
(24:21):
was in the role in the lead in the running
for a lead female role that guy passed up. So
that's probably assuming we'll get a casting for that. But
I think it's pretty dope. It makes sense. He's been
a villain and a lot of things. House of Dragon
he kills it, so I mean in Star Wars is
kind of Knights, but in Star Wars so you know
it is space Starfighters, so won't be Jedis and everything.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
But see also the one.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Good part of Morebius, well.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
To a degree to degree, you don't redeem that movie
so much, and they're like, all right, well, not taking everybody.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Like I say, he goes from House of Dragon, House
of Dragon. I feel like once he's in.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
The scene, you're locked in because you just don't.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
You don't know what that wild Card is going to do.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Really really, as far as the movie goes, it will
be a standalone project. It takes place five years after
Rise of Skywalker, so that's fun because we've been kind
of clamoring for things post that. Hopefully we're gonna get
there eventually. The film was created by the Adam Projects
(25:28):
Jonathan Troper, which is that Netflix movie where Ryan Reynolds
plays the future version of Percy Jackson which has landed
the kid to get Percy Jackson, which was fun, and
then it was funny. Smith was apparently in the in
the rumor to be in Rise of Skywalker but never
made the cut. So he's finally getting into the Star
(25:48):
Wars galaxy, which is pretty dope.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
And like I said, the second see what happens after
Rises of Skywalker, because everything we've gotten new in Star Wars,
has it.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Happened in this in between period. Yeah, And so the
movie comes out twenty twenty. We do know Mandalorian Grogu
is the next movie in twenty twenty six, and you'll
be able to watch a new Hope which we learned
on Monday in twenty twenty seven, so you can get
a double dosage of Star Wars there potentially. The Ray
movie is still being worked on film still kind of.
(26:20):
I mean, this movie seems like it's more going towards
positive progress more than the Ray movie. But what I
kind of heard over the week is that you know,
we are going to enter this the New Republic era,
which is what post Rise of Skywalker is gonna be
kind of called.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Which is good.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
We kind of got a taste of that, not really,
but just what happens after in that one Star Wars
Visions episode of the new the New Lightsaber and New
Jedies we have like but we haven't dove into it
at all, and it hasn't even been tried really because
he even the Mandalorian that takes my thing between Jedi
and Force awakens.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
I'm excited to see this.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
This like head of I guess the head of the movie,
Ryan Gosling and Matt Smith. I wouldn't expect to see
them in Star Wars movie because usually they're always like
British actors.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Matt Matt Smith makes sense, and because that's an actor
that can kind of like absorb into a role. Brian
Gosling is the one I think is it's just Ryan Gosling.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
I feel like him being on in the cast just
elevates the coolest of the movie, right, I mean, and
that's the thing.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Remember for the longest time, mostly before Barbie, let's face it.
I mean, he's been in other stuff too, Like he
was the Ryan gosher was, like in the indie movies
that are like oh Drive or other or like obviously
The Notebook was mainstream, but like everybody didn't know who
Ryan Goslin was. The Barbie. Obviously, now everyone knows who
he is. And he did The Fall Guy, which it
(27:49):
was last year. I believe that came out, which was
an okay movie, but it was like centered on his
star power, so it'll be interesting. Obviously being a starfighter thing,
you assume we're gonna be in a lot of out
of cockpits. But what do you do? Do you stick
with the the Tired and True X Wing because I remember
we were supposed to get a Rogue Squadron movie at
one point with Patty Jenkins. That was a long time
(28:12):
ago in another Galaxy, far far away.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
And also weeks we saw that at the end of
Last Jedi and the Force awakens the what do they
call it the rebels.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
But the New Resistance.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
This fleet was decimated. They didn't have anything like yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
There's a couple of wings and we're like, well, yeah,
well then at the very end of our Skywalker, then
all of a sudden, here's all the ships that I
don't know where from where we've been here the whole time.
But that's okay, sure, Charlando, the ghost is back there.
Yeah is it? Look do we do a bee wing?
Do we do why wing? Or is it a new
(28:47):
ship that we get behind and try to sell Because
you remember the longest time, we were so hyped for
the Razorcrest. We were like, hell, yeah, this Razorcrest looks dope.
They sold the lego, they sold the toy season two destroyed. Yeah,
you can't buy that lego, no mo. Maybe we'll get
a k wing just I don't know, maybe, but we'll
(29:09):
get we'll get a sea wing. What that looked like
an oh, circles the whole.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Like like a perpetual like motion, like it's like a
ship that's viral.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Sure that, but uh, I think the interesting thing is, yeah,
whatever ship they make, that's gonna be the just how
the Razorcrest and the Mando's Naboo star Fighter is like
the hotness when it comes to vehicles of Star Wars.
Star Wars always gotta have a vehicle. It's it's it's
a vibe yet the Falcon yeah earlier, Yeah, so it's
(29:40):
like it's all yeah, the Ghost Clone Wars you kind
of had that weird wonky ship Anakin sometimes used in
the beginning seasons. They tried to sell it, didn't uh.
And then obviously the new ones you kind of Poe
and the x Wing again obviously the iconic x Wing
if that ship Kylo Kylo Wren's Modi ty fighter thing,
(30:01):
which is cool. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
Yeah, so I'm excited about this. I'm also excited that
we're getting a mainstream Star Wars movie for only the
second time, I believe, maybe the third, I'll say second.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Did that forced focus? You know what I mean? Because
even Rogue one was kind of forced focused.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Well we'll see on the premise, but do you know,
like just ninging in there just a little bit.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
I won't be surprised that the film comments like, oh,
he's the last Jedi.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
I get, I get, I get it's that always sunny thing.
I get it. But something we're excited to hopefully get
a Spider Punk movie, because, according to our friends the Deadline,
Daniel Kalua has signed on to do a Spider Man
or Spider Punk animated feature film in the near future.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
They want to do everything to make me give me
Spider Verse three.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
Hey, well you asked, you said, I want an update.
Well hey, here's here's it's animated and it is a
Spider Man.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
So good lord, it is cool.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Fidum is a cool character.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
And I'm being honest, Spider Verse across the cross and
beyond it's across right, Yes, really cool character, very very
very well stated. It wasn't like two in your face,
but definitely aura about him. I'm happy for Daniel Kalulu.
I think he's actually involved writing the movie.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
Great. We were supposed to have be honest Spider Verse
twice just by now it once.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Don't worry about Kevin. You'll get eventually.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Oh god. But yeah, cool, it's very cool.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Uh So obviously, like keV said, where we are waiting
for Beyond the Spider Verse and some someday I don't know.
Twenty twenty seven, but according to the Deadline, Sony Pictures
Animation is in early development on the spider Punk animated feature.
Daniel Klue will actually be a co writer with a
Jean Singh. Besides that, remember Klua played Hobart Hoby Brown.
(31:57):
Spider Punk in twenty twenty three is across the Sider Verse.
Twenty twenty seven, when it's beyond the Spider Verse comes out,
would have been a good time to release this movie. Now,
just give us something. But it is what it is.
But spider PUNKT is kind of a new character twenty
fifteen obviously for most of us, probably a prominent fame
besides the movie was it was a costume in the
(32:20):
Spider Man twenty seventeen game Insomniac Spider Man. I was like, oh,
what is this? And then he's in the movie. But
besides that, that's all we kind of know. I'd be
excited for it. Obviously that character. You would have to
probably stick with that animation style and just get ready
for a lot of Kolkroney accents the entire time for
that movie.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
I love and he's using the most right.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
Spider Spider Man.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
I'm not run on the parade. This is really cool,
never branching out of getting the other Spider Man, but like,
come on, man, like I said, mouths still hanging there.
We don't know what's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
Yeah, I would assume we're gonna get this after, uh Spiders,
I hope, I hope we're not getting in before. But
it makes sense, I mean, across the Spider Ever set,
it gave us so many different variations, it makes sense
that there was a sort of spinoff farm of hey,
what do people really relate to? Can we make something
out of that?
Speaker 3 (33:24):
And even in beyond the Spider Verse, like the I
mean across Spider Verse, the Anime Nation style of Spider
Punk compared to the other Spider.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Man in that world, it was like different.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
It was like twenty second, twenty frames a second or something.
I remember something like that.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
Yeah, So I was like the second seed to see
them kind of flushed that whole world out on him
in his own world and how that looks. So that'd
be really cool to see that. And even the music,
because I mean I remember, for think Scott Pilgrim versus
the World, the live actions Michael Sarah Won, I remember
Beck did the soundtrack for that. Because when they want
to have real punk sounds, so they haven't have punk
sound and Spider would be.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Really cool too.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
Album. It's excited to see who they get to record
all that music.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
That'd be really cool.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Yeah, yeah, but also a friendly minder we do have obviously,
be honest. Spider Verse. You got Brand New Day, which
comes out next year. Spider Noir is also due next year,
which I think is a series.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
If I remember No Prime, I feel like Brand New
Days a way ahead of schedule too. I have seen
like this.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Yeah, oh they're filming. I mean it's probably all the
practical stuff they're filming, But yeah, Spider Noir is scheduled
for nineteen twenty six or twenty twenty six. Nicholas Cage.
It will, as far as we know, not really cannon
to the across the Spider Verse movies, but nineteen thirties universe.
So I mean it's got the same actor. But besides that,
(34:43):
it's kind of doing its own thing.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
I think. Two, I'm still kind of saying that they'd
canceled a Silk series.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Remember that.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Yeah, so there was supposed to be a Solk series
on Prime that got canceled, probably because of that. Another
thing is still in development is a Spider Woman Woman
Woman animated series or movie. Who knows, and then a
Venom animated series or movie, which I'd be delighted to
see that of just doing its own thing. Maybe you
(35:12):
could get Tom Marty. You don't have to, but it'd
be cool see what they could do with the animation.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Man, there's some.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
Comics, Miles Morale's comics where he doesn't get venom, he
gets carnage and he is terrifying.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Well like not like none of not the Miles.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
We all love this, mouths like oh Miles, oh please
please find heulp please.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
But talking about different adaptations of projects, well, let's talk
about the state of video game adaptations in twenty twenty five.
We kind of been teasing this for a week and
we got time to talk about it because it's not
a lot of news going on. That's totally okay. So
in honor of we were talking about God of War
last week and who we thought would be the best
(35:56):
live action version of Kratos this triple h five years
ago been fine. Well, it's fine. We're gonna talk about
all the video game adaptations currently in the works, whether
it's gonna be a TV series or a movie, and
kind of just we're excited for it, or were not
other tidbits like that, because we know still for this year.
I mean we're right now. Twisted Metal Season two is
out right now, which is great. We had the Last
(36:18):
of Us season two early this year. We had the
Until Dawn movie, which is on streaming if you want
to watch it. But it's okay, okay. We have Mortal
Kombat two coming out this year in October. He got
five nights at Freddy two come out December. But let's
talk about twenty twenty six and beyond, Kevin, You're ready.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
Twenty six and beyond and beyond beyond buzz right here,
that's next.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Thing, next Disney trip. So we know in twenty twenty six.
Apparently March twenty twenty twenty six, which doesn't seem right
to me based on what we've learned, is when the
Street Fighter movie is supposed to be comeing out.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Every time I heard a Castle movie, I feel like
the movie is not taking sof seriously Cody Rhoades, it's
gonna be Guyle. I mean, I love Cody, I love
Roman as well. It's gonna be the Coola. But I'm like,
come on, really, I think so seriously, like the more
and more I hear about this. This is definite gonna
be a Netflix or a Prime movie. It's not gonna
be a theatrically released movie.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
It's like, yeah, so as of right now, still fifty
cent is casting it Jason Momoa Alan Richson, which okay.
Speaker 3 (37:27):
That actually, no, that's wrong, that's old.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
That's another right, guess in what I light on that one?
Speaker 2 (37:32):
I think I think fifty is wrong.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
I think yes, correct, Uh, where is the okay? Here
is it's through not helping me this. Noah Centeno is
an actual actor that's in it. It's kind of all
the place. But hey, you know, if we get a
new street Fighter, just get it right. You know, we've
had we had that weird one where it's like the
(37:55):
legend of Chun Lee, which I didn't even know what
that was. It was different. I think there's a directive
DVD that I watched as a block Pluster days.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
There's not a laying from Small Villa Lee. It was.
It was. It was a thing.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
It was the thing. But I mean, if they get
it right perfect. If they don't, that's okay. We wouldn't
really have a lot of faith in it because, like
the Moral Kombat movie, franchise right now kind of the
same thing. I'm like, I'm just here for a good time.
I'm not here for you to change the way of
movies forever.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
You know.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
I'm here to see sub zero Freeze somebody's blood stem
with it. I'm not here for five.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
Also supposedly in twenty twenty six. I don't think so
on this one. Super Mario Bros. The movie too, I
doubt unless's the end of twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
I haven't really heard anything about in develpment all of that.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
I mean, we got to tease at the end of
it of Yoshi come out the pipe. Other than that,
I haven't heard anything about this movie.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
Yeah, I mean the other The main thing is the
it is the fortieth anniversary of Super Mario Brothers. So
I would assume we're going to get a Nintendo direct
that that probably we'll have the trailer or something. Actually, yeah,
you wanted Super Mario Bros. Release. It was April last
September thirteenth, nineteen eighty five, so September calling it here
(39:11):
right now, we're getting a Nintendo direct. Here's the trailer
for upcoming Super Mario Bros. Two movie.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
I think might be right on with that one. I
think you're right about that. There I go, thank you.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
Also in twenty twenty seven, Angry Birds three. I'm okay.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
I did the second one, but the first one was
pretty funny.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
Actually, no, I'm okay. I didn't watch any of them.
I'm good Kevin won't have to go see them because
I don't played it in Forever Blame Kira. Kira's gonna
want to go see that movie. Play that game on
your phone. She is an angry bird. Definitely, you said
that one. Sound like the Hedgehog four. Also in twenty
twenty seven, Yep, we'll go watch that because those actually
been pretty good. Fallout Season two comes out this year
(39:46):
as well. We've talked about that to death Legizelda. We
already know a little bit about this. This article is
a little old, so I'm just reading out one told me.
But here we go, starting off with things that haven't
really our TBA God of War the TV series. Yeah,
we talked about Credos, Kevin, who would you want let's
go with as Freya. Who would you want as Freya?
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Freya? What is her name?
Speaker 3 (40:11):
Hold on?
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Because the trey is they can just cast a young
actor and then just pop with him, because I mean,
the the kid who voices him. Now he's too grown
to be traded.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
So I'm not sure if she's still acting or that.
But if this was me twenty years ago, Kate beckon
sale would have been amazing.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
Let's see Kate beca sale type that can sell type.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
Give me.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
So here we go, Kien Knightley, that'd be gosh, pretty cool.
Emily Blunt, Emily Blunt, Emily Blunt.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Do it. Yeah, I think maybe get Dad Brandon wool
in there. Yeah, obviously has Crados's wife, because that's who
she is in the actual game. Yeah, you could do
the same odin actor Thoor. That would be then interesting
one because that's gonna be your first big lot like
(41:08):
TV show adaptation of a Thor in the video game.
We kind of gave us some great it was a
video game, but once you get TV it's like, well,
that's like I think he.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
Showed up in the episode of the Vikings, but it's
like in the vision, Okay, we know a mass effect movie,
it says, but no, it's TV show is currently in
the works.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
Suprime video. We talked about that a little bit on Monday.
I believe uh Ghostsushima is currently in development. Chad Stahelski
is directing it and everything. Don't know too much beyond that,
but I would assume with Gostyote coming out this in
a couple of months, actually, that's probably when we get
a little maybe some updates on if the movie is
(41:50):
still in the works or who is a lead actor.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
At least, I think go to Tsushima has the opportunity
to be kind of like a throwback to the old
Samurai movies the seventies and eighties and kind of put
like a new flare on.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
It, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
Yeah, I think obviously they here Hiro Yoki Sonata, who's
been in a bunch of stuff. He's Scorpion the Mortal
Kombat movies, He's in Showgun. That would probably be your
go to actor for something like that, even though it
is very akin to Showgun, like same type of vibes
to a degree, but nonetheless pretty cool. I think they
(42:25):
could do make it like Showgun but a little more
action John Wick like, which would be cool.
Speaker 3 (42:31):
He could definitely be the main character. I can't remember
his name right now, but or his uncle either one,
and he'd be fine. In.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Yeah. They we're all supposed to get a Gostu Shusuma
anime which is supposed to be on crunchy roll in
twenty twenty seven, which hell yeah. I don't know if
it'll be like added to the show or whatever they're
gonna do, but I'll die with it. On top of that,
we have a Horizon zero don movie or TV show
(42:58):
in twenty twenty five. Was it was announced that was
very early in production.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
Because I believe Netflix had the rights to I believe.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
Oh actually no, sorry, it lost the rights in twenty
twenty four, but then Sony said it's still in production.
Early in production.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
Okay, okay, I think this could be a really cool
show if they do it right. Alloy is an interesting character.
She's pretty much want you see that red hair?
Speaker 1 (43:33):
Iconic thing?
Speaker 2 (43:34):
Yeah, iconic, And I'm not going to spoil it because
you haven't play your on yet right.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
No, it is downloaded. I bought the re mastered version
because it was a ten dollars upgrade that I had,
and I was like, well, I'm playing ten dollars for it.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
It's the story is really good because it's it's I
want to call it surprise science fiction. You think you're
can one thing, and it's like surprise, science fiction surprise.
And I think the twist and a series that will
probably happen if they did twelve episodes, probably episode eleven
ten Toby nine. The twist will throw everybody off, and
(44:07):
I think if if it was done correctly, this could
be a really really cool show. I also just in
my head canon, what's his name? Kid Harrington's wife?
Speaker 1 (44:19):
Oh, Egret is the is the character Rose Leslie?
Speaker 2 (44:24):
I mean I think she that's kind of her role
to lose.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
I think they will. I think, oh, dang it, what
who plays Max in Trader Things? Sadie sink Is? Would
that would be that? If if it was on Netflix
still immediately she would have been casted as that. But
I think probably her, especially because if she's if it's
a Sony property and she's gonna be in Spider Man.
Sony likes to cross pollinate its actors and actually it
(44:50):
can still happen.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
That's a good point. Yeah, I definitely like that. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
I think we have a hell Divers two movies still
uh in early production into a movie that's pretty much
do Starship Troopers but make it modern to a degree,
which is cool. I think that you can kind of
cast anybody you really want to as an action star
and watch it.
Speaker 3 (45:10):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
I feel like you do cast Caffin Dean as a
kind of.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Like a cameo. Yeah, he's like the general or something. Uh,
there's a there's a movie adaptation in the works for
the simms.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
No.
Speaker 1 (45:23):
I mean, hey, Barbie worked.
Speaker 3 (45:26):
The sims.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Wouldn't be too hard.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
It be probably like free Guy, you know what, You're right,
maybe a freakam mix a little bit Jamanji.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
It wouldn't be that hard. It wouldn't be And it's
like them realizing someone's controlling them or the Lego movie
something like that. Also in the works. We kind of
talked about this already the Gears of War movie and
also supposed to be get in an animated series. Apparently
John Spates, who did the who did Doctor Strange One
in the First Dude Movie is writing the movie See
(45:57):
what Happens? That seems like one of those ones we've
heard from for about that. Just Xbox and Microsoft haven't
pulled the trigger right yet, you know.
Speaker 3 (46:05):
If done right, Gere's a what can kind of be
like a private I think a private Ryan in Space
and it would be Heartbreak Maker.
Speaker 2 (46:11):
I feel like it'd be real good.
Speaker 1 (46:13):
Uh. I'm gonna skip a couple that were like, eh,
return to Silent Hill that seems like a Netflix thing
that will probably have it. Most likely Death Stranding that
would make sense. I mean, hey, A twenty four is
supposed to be adapting it, you know. Oh Lord, death
Stranding too did great. I mean it'll probably be like
The Green Knight. I've never seen it, but I've heard
good things about it of like how style. I mean, really,
(46:34):
if Kojina was involved, just do the damn the damn
game at most, Like I think fifty percent of the
game is cut scene, so legit.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
Is like literally in it.
Speaker 1 (46:43):
So just like take Norman Radis, do the things you
did and get it working. Uh, same thing with the
Days Gone movie, which is also a development. Uh just
get Saan Witwerk to put a hat on and dravorcyc.
It'd be good to go, uh copy and paste. It's okay,
But something I kind of want to talk about, uh
with you. Pokemon Detective Pikachu two. That's something that like
(47:08):
should have happened by now because Detective Pikachu was good
and it got people in theater and got people buying
the car like it was like nineteen ninety five. Again
when the movie came out, we gotta get the cards
that came stop or whatever for this, And I.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
Watched that during a COVID. That's one of the few
movies that I watched. Was like the movie ended credits,
rands like I want to watch this again because again
growing like you did go to a Pokemon. I've never
seen Pokemon realizing the real world, and it's like and
it worthing to see that. Yeah, it works really well.
I don't want to see more of that. Yeah, there's nothing.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
I just did a quick google. Nothing really like pop Well, actually, here,
what's IMDb? So I can trust this? I guess. Okay,
nothing really in that article. But I mean the main
thing is it makes sense. People will go see this
if you're looking for the same Nintendo and game freak.
(48:03):
People will flock this movie just because it says Pokemon
on it or Pikachu is on the cover. You know, adults, families, anything, millennials, nineties, babies, everything.
It's still in production. It apparently does have a director
and a writer. If they are going to do a
second one. I do think Unfortunately, they're probably going to
(48:23):
expand it to some of the newer Pokemon, which is
gonna suck. But I still think you could easily just
do a live action show or a movie of just
the first season of the anime or whatever and just
people will watch it immediately. You know, that's easy money.
Speaker 2 (48:42):
I heard just say that. So have you reached that
era of where I was like three year like who
is this Pokemon?
Speaker 1 (48:48):
A little bit and a lot of it is because
I play TCG Pocket every day and I'm like, I
know these ones. And it's funny because right now the
season it's in is for like Joto, It's like Lugiah
and and all those type of Pokemon and like Typhlosion
and Tote Dial. But the pack always incorporates random new Pokemon,
(49:09):
like oh, there's like I know that one. I know,
like what that.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
Forget when when I got it was a crow rock
comes krowgunk. Yeah, and then the gears what do they call?
Clank clean clang and clean clean, like who's going on vacation?
And just this real quick and left out the door
a couple of man some Gears.
Speaker 1 (49:36):
But yeah, I think I mean, obviously you could have
those a set dressing, but the moon, the ones they're
going to interact with, have to be the O G s. Okay,
I'll give you till now. That's the is the end. Sorry,
you know, I'll give you sit now, I'll give you now.
That's the fourth one.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Was cool, wasn't Sina was like my limit, That's what
went back, and I was like, Okay, I'm done. I
am no longer. Yeah, I'm o G now no longer current.
Speaker 1 (50:01):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
A to Z.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
I'm probably not gonna play. Other movie adaptations still in
the works. BioShock, Yeah, I think it'd be really cool.
I think you just got to get the right director
for that, because it either go the either go the
horror route or your actually probably work pretty well, or
you go the thriller route with that one. And there's
two different paths you can go with that one.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
I feel like kind of like how like I haven't
seen it yet.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
I don't know if you saw screening My Weapons is
kind of like a horror, thriller, horror something like that.
Speaker 1 (50:30):
And that movie looks scary. I'm not watching Close my
Eyes with a Minecraft movie too. That makes sense. Yeah,
I guess they can kind of do whatever the hell
they want make up an imaginary villain. They can do
probably more Nether stuff, which they kind of teased but
didn't really go too much into, like Nether dragons and
stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
But I've decided whenever I'm down with a cold this fall,
that's when I watched the Minecraft movie, or.
Speaker 1 (50:55):
When you're high, you could watch them when you're high
as well. Kevin to correct, we've talked about the Assassin's
Creed TV series for a little bit because that got
announced like officially, like a month ago. Splinter Cell, that's
a movie that could have happened. I think at one
point Leave Schreiber was in the works to voice the character,
(51:17):
but that one's according to this, seems like it's canceled
in TBA for the series.
Speaker 3 (51:23):
So sorry, I will say about the Assassin's Creed series.
I hope what they do with that series, whatever timeline
they picked to go in, whatever part of history, do
not reveal the whole animus thing till the end.
Speaker 1 (51:38):
Don't immediately show me here it is. Don't go back
and forth.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
It's gonna tell people along do it? Do it at
the end.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
Oh my gosh, it was this guy along living his
his his ancestor, because otherwise people are.
Speaker 2 (51:50):
Like, what's what is happening?
Speaker 1 (51:51):
What's happening?
Speaker 3 (51:53):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (51:53):
And then go here.
Speaker 1 (51:56):
Uh. The last one on here is the tomb Raider
series with Sophie Turner. That one's still kind of up
in the air too. I think it was Lisa vic
Can or Alicia vacandor we remember that one was good
and Moulton Goggins was the villain, but then they just
I don't think it did well financially. The game was
(52:16):
good too, Yeah, and that was the movie was more
kin to the more modern U Lower Cross Tumbraider games. Yeah,
that's an interesting one. That's like what's happened with that?
I think it would work obviously having Sophie Turner, And
it makes sense because Sophie Turner is kind of a
weird period right now where she's more influencer celebrity than
(52:37):
like acting celebrity, just because of the Joe Jonas thing
and everything.
Speaker 3 (52:40):
So and then she hasn't really, I don't just been
anything big since X Men really.
Speaker 1 (52:46):
Yeah, probably the other like small stuff that we probably
haven't seen. But yeah, but Kevin, we're not done. We've
talked about the things that are currently being adapted. I
want you to give me two things you think need
to be adapted into a TV show or movie. Interesting
good one questions, what does he pick? What does he pick?
(53:06):
I think the easiest one red Dead, Redemption because the practice.
The second one is practically a movie. I think just
the current climate we are in of movies and TV shows,
doing a Western something like that would stand out. Well,
people see it, that's the whole thing, a Western and
twenty twenty whatever. But I think you can adapt that
(53:29):
show probably could work. West World worked for and most
of it was the Cowboys stuff, so that was like
the game. Yeah, off the top of my head.
Speaker 3 (53:39):
One would be, actually it's not a PlayStation game, Infamous
Oh okay, yeah, infamous if if not for my Infamous
came out on PS three, Oh god, twenty tw year was.
But it's basically part of post apocalyptic chaos, part science
(54:01):
fiction time travel, part.
Speaker 1 (54:02):
Superhero movie, supero game.
Speaker 3 (54:04):
So you got a lot going on with it inside
the game, and I feel like if you got the
right the right actor, we got the write script to
that to how the game went, that could really be
a really compelling TV show or movie. I think it
would be either or I think I think a movie
would be a little more palatable if don't we want
to draw out over ten episode or like that.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
But I think if it be a really good one,
actually another one, this one's more of a joke, Arkham
Asylum would be a really good adaptation. I know it's
had the animated series, but if you're making a movie,
that'd be pretty cool. But my real one I think,
unfortunately these have been failed because of the Ratchet and
Clink movie in twenty sixteen. But Sony easy money is
(54:49):
doing a Crash or a Spiro or a Sly Cooper
movie series, whatever you want to do, that's money on
the table you can make right now.
Speaker 3 (54:59):
Sly Cooper will be a amazing animated movie. I feel like, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1 (55:03):
And then I mean, ultimately in the same kind of realm,
depending on how Nintendo wants to play this, you could
build it to a super Smash Bros. Movie and it
would work because if you're doing Detective Pikachu too, you'd
be like, I got a letter and you see just
the Smash Bro's logo on the letter, and you're like, oh, dude,
Smash Bros.
Speaker 2 (55:23):
They're crossing over baby.
Speaker 3 (55:25):
That would would be pretty cool. My other one, this
is the thing off off the top of the top
of my head. Another one I think would be really
cool would be Crackdown.
Speaker 1 (55:34):
Actually a good show. That'd be a good show.
Speaker 3 (55:37):
Yeah, just you kind of can use like robo Cop
as a template. It's a city that's been run down
by crime and urban decay, and then there's this company
who's developing super cops.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
And then you can.
Speaker 3 (55:49):
Follow maybe one of the people who sign up for
a program basically and go through his or her journey
at getting all the powers, getting big and Buffy be
able to jump thirty feet in the year to be
able to have driving skilled thing.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
And then of course.
Speaker 3 (56:05):
I'll spoil crack Down because who cares. But then, of
course here's the here's the side note. The reason why
the city is that because the company made you made
it like that. The second one is you're building against
the machine exactly.
Speaker 1 (56:19):
Saints Row would be a good one or d T
a Saints Row. I just know because I remember the story.
It was like the big turn that happened in the
Spikes poiler where your leader is has been working with
the cops the whole time. You're like Oh my god,
what the hell? Damn you, Keith David. I trusted you.
(56:40):
Dishonored could be a cool one. I think that's a
cool franchise that anime form or whatever. I mean. Cyberpunk
did get edge Runners and people really like that and
got people a lot more to play Cyberpunk. But I
think another one, this is kind of along the lines.
I think they need to retry doom Uh again and
(57:00):
just you know, there were there are some concepts and
stuff in that in that movie from forever ago that
was good, and there was a lot that wasn't. But
do it again and give it a good try, because
I think that in a dead Space would be really
cool if dead Space has the same similar vibes to
a degree.
Speaker 3 (57:15):
Another easy one they should do, because basically said, it's
already basically done.
Speaker 2 (57:18):
Formed Life is Strange that.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
I gotta play that, I gotta play that new one.
Maybe that's the game I want to play next door.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
Right like this, it's right there, just like, hey, go
do it?
Speaker 1 (57:32):
Did you play the first Life is Strange?
Speaker 3 (57:34):
keV? The first one?
Speaker 2 (57:35):
Yes, I haven't play anybody since.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
That first one. That one's good. Everyone, Actually they're all good, keV. Actually,
hold on, hold on, I gotta remember which one, Kevin.
If you're looking for a new game, they're probably cheap
or they're on a PlayStation plus. All right, let me
make sure I get the right Uh no, no, no, okay,
that's the one I want. Life is Strange is good.
Two is pretty good if you like. It's a good brother.
(57:59):
It's about mostly like a brother relationship.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
And they're escaping because yeah, they leave their home because
their dad died and it was old. It was the
whole thing. It was wild. Uh. True Color that one,
it was a lot. It was like this is too real.
But then True Colors was really good because you're set
in a small town. You have the power of empathy,
and there was a lot of good music, and music
is great in these in these games, like you'd love it.
(58:24):
Double Exposure is that's the one I got played, So
I think that's my next game. I'm gonna play now.
Speaker 3 (58:29):
Another music kind of both find the same development. They
could totally do Skyrim and StarCraft totally.
Speaker 1 (58:36):
Yeah, or I mean we got the Warcraft episode in
South Park said they don't need to do that. I
guess you're yeah, but StarCraft would be a cool one,
because I mean, there is so much story in that. Obviously,
we we've we've had you know, Dungeons of Dragons, worked
the movie, and I don't know if we're still on
the slate to get a second one or something like that.
(58:56):
But that and then sorry was the other one, Kevin
Sorry for some Skyrim. Everyone has had Skyrim or played
it or demoed it once upon a time, so why
not do it at least gog Yeah, and I really
think that could be. I mean, if HBO is looking
to tap into something that's that's a perfect HBO show.
(59:17):
You know, it's Game of Thrones, but a little mod anti.
Speaker 3 (59:21):
It's more magic and less I guess it's Game of Throne.
Speaker 1 (59:25):
Oh yeah, well you think there's less talking, but then
you're like, oh, it's HBO, so they got to talk
HBO up. But yeah, So a lot of room for adaptations,
a lot more room to get some new adaptations in there.
Obviously there's a new video game every day, so plenty
of adaptations and the works.
Speaker 2 (59:44):
I'm really excited.
Speaker 3 (59:45):
The one that still worries me though we're talking about
it is the mass effect one because I don't understand
how you going to how are you going to just
make everybody happy, because as soon as you pick a
male ship, everybody's.
Speaker 1 (59:56):
Like, oh, I mean, hey, the experience as much as
you can say they fans were just massive, but I
know that's a whole different thing. But the closest you'll get.
Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Yeah, I actually thought it's an expands That's kid is
pretty good. I only got to like the first three
episodes to start with.
Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
Maybe just said we'll have an expanse talk. Let's expanse
your mind with some expanse expand uh not. As Drew
p said he would like a splinter Cell adaptation. Yeah,
leave Shrever was in the running for that at one point.
That or I remember Oscar Isaac was supposed to be
(01:00:33):
uh solid steak or for a splinter or not a
metal gear solid movie. That's also kind of in the
air because you know, Kojima kind of left it and
I've Konami def training and everything. So that's an interesting
one too. Let's kind of dropped the ball.
Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
One one here too is The Witcher seasons four and five. Yeah,
I get you want to stay true to the books.
Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
I respect that.
Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
Stop It make It again, which is three blood that's.
Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
Not care because they play the game. Sorry, it is
what it is. You gotta do it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
It was a book, it was written. I think it's
in Polish.
Speaker 3 (01:01:11):
I don't think that it didn't incating to English to
like years after after it came out originally, but it's
originates in Polish literature. It's not even like people in
America know the Witch because of the game. They don't
care about the books.
Speaker 1 (01:01:26):
Also, we are uncharted too, that's in development still. I
thought they were filmed. Maybe that was a fake thing,
but I think they did a second the second one
of one charted, just because we're talking about like the
single player like adventure games like that. They'll get refined,
you get you'll get an older Tom Holland now after
brand New Day, because he's got to film that first
(01:01:47):
beats and stubble, I think will be great and then yeah,
so much more. It's a good time. A lot of
a lot of things in the works.
Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
It's funny that he's right now, he's currently supposedly in
the running for James Bond. I'm like, you can't beat
Spider Man.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
Here's the thing. Every time we do a fancasting, it's like, whoop,
those are out the window because the next day, hope
they're not gonna be James Bond.
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
Here's here's a stage actor you've never heard of them.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
Okay, cool, I'll see why I see it. But let
us know what video game adaptation are you hyped for?
Do you want to see happen at infandund score pods
on the Instagram or the X go and give it
to you, uh, just to see maybe we missed one,
because sometimes you're like, oh, yeah, I play that game,
Like Kevin bringing up life is strange. I'm like, oh,
that unlocked the whole thing in me. So you mentioned
(01:02:31):
those three words tech.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
But there's been a number of techn animated movies, right.
Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
Yes, man. They got to get through the Street Fighter
one and Mortal Kombat this year to see if we
can even get to a TECHU one.
Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
So tech is more emotional than those two games. So
I feel like if they wanted to, like it's about
like you know, basically a father makes his son.
Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
Seafood could be a good one. Seafood if they do
it right with Chad Staholski and John Wick peeps, that
could be a good one.
Speaker 2 (01:02:53):
Or just do a throwback in like an eighties movie.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
This Streets of Rage, Grete Kevin. They we're probably getting there.
We're doing street Fighter. We're getting real close. Don't worry, uh,
but you want to have your voice be heard, well,
you can join the podcast when we actually record it,
Twitch dot tv, slash Infinite Underscore pods, or you can
check out our beautiful faces sort of some of the
behind the scenes things that go on, like when Teddy's
doing the intro, when Kevin's eldest daughter Lea was wearing
(01:03:17):
his Rambow wig during the beginning of this podcast, YouTube
dot com or Twitch dot tv, slash Infinite Underscore pods
as well fun Time here Christ's voice fun Time and
Kevin's Kevin. I'm just saying, you gotta get that new Megasord.
I'm seeing a vacant spot in your Megasord wall behind you. Yeah,
but already have it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
Nina game, that's.
Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
We'll get. We'll see how those games, the first game
that came actually the new games have been good, and
we get the new one come out later this fall,
so we'll see what happened.
Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
Ninjas come on, who does love ninjas?
Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
Who doesn't love ninjas? But as always, my name is
Hoodie and and you have officially listened to this video
game adapted episode, What Kevin Crisis on Infinite but ca
Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Like a dictum
