Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerdy news you need to know
throughout the week on iHeart Brady went badcast services around
the world because my name's Hoodie, Okay, and you're officially
listening to this morning episode.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Of What Cap Crisis on Infinite Welcome back, my friend
from the Land of Beautiful Nuptials.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I'm back. I made it. I survived, not really, it
wasn't anything really to survive, but we were here and
we're gonna have a good time, you know what I'm saying.
Rain on Saturday, but in the morning, though barely barely,
didn't affect a wedding at all. But we're gonna talk
about that. We're gonna talk about some summer game fest.
We're gonna talk about some Xbox ID showcase whatever the

(00:54):
hell they want to call it an Xbox presentation, uh,
and so much more on today's show. You can see
everything at infant Underscore pots on the Instagram or the Twitter.
It's it's been a while, so I gotta kind of
remember the rigamarole.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Getting back on the swing of things.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yes, you can always be there or if you want
to be part of the conversation of this podcast right here,
this dairy one right here.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Where can they go, Kevin, Go to YouTube dot com
slash if the Underscore Pods to watch us on demand
at your own leasure, or if you want, you can
join us live twice a week twush dot tv, slash
if the Underscore Pods, join a chat and actually talk to.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Your boys, your boys, and funny enough. You know, it
is weird because June's kind of like a weird. Obviously
we're talking about video games now and then kind of
the this week and the next week's kind of a weird,
like what do we talk about? Don't worry, iron Heart,
she's on the horizon. She's on the horizon, y'all. Two weeks.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
It's kind of sad.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Actually, I was looking around. I was sitting round the
house on a Saturday. My wife was talking.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I was like, you know what.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Five years ago I was heading E.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Three right now now, that was about actually, Kevin, that
was about seven years ago. Seven years ago, you right, yeah, Becau,
actually Kevin, you know it was about.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Ten Now.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
We don't think about that. We don't think about ethere's
dead anyway, it doesn't matter, can't go anymore anyway. But
we are gonna have a fun show. Obviously if iron
Hart comes, then we got Superman right around the corner,
and we got Fantastic four right around there too. Your
boy will be going to at the Universe at one point,
so we'll talk about how that is as well. So
we've got plenty of good coverage for you here on
the podcast.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
How to Tek You Dragging this weekend? That'd be interesting.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
How are we gonna see it? I don't know. I
feel like it's the same thing as Lelo and Stitch.
I don't need to see it.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I don't think I'm think we're gonna see it, but
it'd be interesting to see if and Lethals is dominated.
I think that how leos this weekend will affect how
if it gets to a billion or not. Believe that's
nerdy movie talk.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
We'll talk about that next week when we find the
actual box after supports, But before we start the actual podcast,
we start started off with something we like to call
what sh Doing. We talked about the shows and movies
we've been watching, games we've been playing, lives we've been living.
And because it is Monday, Kevin, you get to go first,
good sir.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Because I'm boring. I hadn't anyone doing anything.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
So besides hanging out with you guys by myself on Thursday,
it was a lot of fun. Guys made it easy.
Thanks a lot for all of that.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
After that it's been.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
It was a pretty low key weekend. Actually on Saturday,
help a friend move a desk, which is fun.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
It's always an adventure, always an adventure.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
It was one of those like I guess how to say,
like office style desks. It was like there's stunt length
of a wall. There was like a testament like the
l part. And then the fun part was the desk
was in Mount Airy, Maryland, and we had to go
to Cockeysville, Maryland, which is like a whole this is
a west basically central Maryland.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Well, that was fun.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Guy got to hang out with other buddy from church
for a little while and just you know, as they say,
chop it up about about being a man in this world,
not like you know, being a jerk about it, but
it's like, you know, it's times its hard. It's hard,
hard to be a good man, I should say, but
that's what that's what I'm the child's dad said, the
black panther, it's hard to be a good man.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
But then that was fun. Did that and after that
watched some Money in the Bank on Saturday evening.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
And then how did that go? Your thoughts on Money
in the Bank.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
It was a pretty good show. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Was it a quick show? It felt like there was
only like five matches or something.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
It was a quick show for two reasons. Number one.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
The first reason was because a w W just acquired
a Mexican restaurant and he had an event the afternoon
of Money in the Bank, so they did that. And
then they only had five matches on this one because
they also had to be done by ten thirty because
UFC started at ten thirty.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
They want to didn't want to.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Actually, it's a long day if you liked both those
things exactly.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
So it was pretty. It ended pretty. It was quick,
but it was like it moved, you know what I mean,
just like kept moving flowing. I watched a little bit
of Triple A because I was going on a road.
My buddy watch all of it, but I saw it
pretty cool. And then watched All the Money in the Bank.
That was fun watching it with Kira and Lee and
my daughter. When our truth came back, that was the

(05:08):
fun part.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Ron killing sir. His name is Ron Killing and you
know a.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Lot of people are saying he was actually fired and
they actually had to go. But if you pay attention,
the shirt they're selling right now, Ria had on last Monday.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
So I don't know who's to say. I'm not a
big conspiracy theorist, but she had the shirt on a
Monday night. I don't know, whatever, whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Maybe it was more of an advertisement my cool hairs prevail.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
We're talking on Friday type of thing. Maybe what's it happened?
But that was fun.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
And then on Sunday I went to my mother in
law's seventy fifth birthday party, so that was cool.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
And how that go five?

Speaker 3 (05:45):
So it was great, turns out five. You know, when
you party with most of the old people, it's a
very chill happen.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Were reading the cake and then sorry, go leave. I
don't one.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
It's really just eating food, eating cake and then listen
to him reminiscent and ask some questions. Just you know,
it's a pretty easy time. I hope when I'm that
age and the party happens for me.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
But we are is nice.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
People are gonna be like, hey, Kevin, you remember seeing
Infinity War and THEATA. I remember what a chide.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
You guys have no idea what was like this? You
can't pick up that hammer? Yeah, you don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
You my cat, not my caps as the kid five
generations of Captain America later.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
But that's not all I did this weekend. But you
had a much more fit taxicekend, so I wanted to
get it.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
So we'll get through the the boring normal stuff and
then we'll talk about the whiting is part of the
news because it is a news story because it was
on the news in Virginia Beach actually, so don't worry
about that. But this week this weekend was my brother's wedding,
so we'll talk about it in a hot second. But
he did get a Nintendo switch to on launch date
last week, as well as a majority of the groomsmen

(06:51):
besides met switch tos because they said, hey, we know
there's an important wedding this weekend, let's get switches and
try to install them. And didn't happen at all, because
I saw switchboxes everywhere in his house and it was
wild as hell. But just the second hand stories I've
heard from them, my brother, I think I believe he
pre ordered his switch to a week before, got at

(07:14):
game stop, got it lined up in out easy, no problem,
got his. He just got the switch to and the
Mario Kart pack in game. It was interesting we found
out and probably a lot of people did. There was
two versions of the Mario Kart like pack in for
that version of the game, where one was pre downloaded
on the game and one was you had to then
download the game yourself, which is weird.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Okay, So it basically they got lazy probductions like no way.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah, so if you two, if you see two, if
you see them in the wild, because they're not as
hard to get as they should be, which I've seen
tiktoks everywhere. And we'll get to a second end story.
But one has Mario Kart like on the box. That's
the one that's packed in, and one's just a sticker.
That's the one where they're like, oh, here's the code

(07:59):
for the game. So just interesting if you're looking forward
to that. There's different versions of even the bundle for
the switch took.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Be more rare in twenty years and you get so
you can make some money.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
He's my box. Enjoy it. You can't use it. You
can't use the game at all because it doesn't come
with the console, but you can enjoy the box. But
he did get a pro or no, he didn't get
a pro controller because he still has his OG so
if you have your OG one from the switch, you
can still use on your switch to I think it
doesn't have the c the chat feature, which it is
what it is. I've had seen mixed reactions on the
chat feature. But his now brother in law, my I

(08:34):
don't know how that works with me, did get the
pro controller in law? Yeah, It's just simple like that.
And funny enough, none of them could play it this
week because why well, they're busy wedding this weekend. So
you get go to chapel and get married exactly exactly.
And just before we get into the wedding part, I

(08:55):
watched through the first real big arc of Dragon Ball
Super now that it is officially on Hulu, so uh,
fun fact, I did buy that Sparking zero game for Christmas,
or I got it for Christmas, and I was gonna
watch Super and then play the game. Super went to
Crunchy role, like damn it, I was gonna watch it.
It's back on Hulu now, so if you want to
watch it with me. I'm through the Beerist arc, the

(09:16):
first one.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
That's funny.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
I'm actually going through a little bit of a withdrawal
here because for some reason, Rick and Morty isn't they
after streaming on Hulu anymore.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Which is wild because I was like, oh, that it
is out now, Like I saw another the recap article
was like, I didn't even know this was out right now.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
The last night episode was about like through Revenge of
the Council of Rix. I'm like, dang, I want to
see that.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Also, I'm like, I need the recap on that too,
because that's a lot. That's a lot in that storyline
right there, a whole lot.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
But I happen to get get throughdragon Ball dragon Ball
Super should say.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Yes, and uh, mister Eric V get ready. I want
my copy of my game back. I let you you
guys definitely aren't plaing because you're playing Fortnite instead. Give
my stuff back, give it my stuff back. I paid
for that, really, my family paid for that as a
gift for me.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
And then oh yeah, I'm on the train ride down.
I did play a lot of Pokemon Crystal and you
boys got Cyther and I figured out a way to
get all three starters in Pokemon Crystal. So that's that's
that's been fun. Yeah, gaming the system, gaming the system,
which might have also broken the game at the same
time for a little bit of sometimes it works and
then nope, it just reset. Well, gotta save every five

(10:20):
seconds on the game now.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Every five seconds, five steps, save five steps boot.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
See But what you here for, Well, that's a news story,
So let's get on into it. It's time and first
things first release, let's break down Brother John's wedding. Would

(10:47):
have had like a little logo for Brother John's wedding
at the bottom right of this podcast be hit like
like post up to yeah yeah, you don't say yeah?
So in case you didn't know it, John, Uh, my
brother married his now wife Jen this weekend and it
was a time to have because your boy was best
man and did my best man duties, you know what I'm.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Saying, Because you were he was the best man at
your wedding. And I hope you guys are satisfied with
each other's service.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
I hope. So you know, you know, you get anxious
about it. Once she's like all right, it's done, Like
did I do a good job? I think I did.
I'm not sure, uh, but pretty much how the wedding
weekend worked, your boy. Why I wasn't here because Kevin
was here because I was traveling on train. So that
was fun. Thursday we did get gents haircuts. My brother
had blocked out a whole block of a barber's time

(11:40):
to get haircuts and all the good stuff. And it
was fun. It was the first time I've had a
dude actually hair cut my hair, which was weird because
I've always had lady cut my hair.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I only lad to cut my hair once I was
like seven, and she smoked it was it.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Was real and that was the time Kevin said never again,
and that happened again. But yeah, it was cool, just
have all the gents hang out get excited for John.
I will say it was a lot. It was busier
than I thought it was going to be. That's okay,
you know, that's what happens. Last minute. You got to
get all these flowers, you gotta get all these get

(12:16):
all these what notts and who was it? And what's
its scalores? And it's my job make sure John ate.
Sometimes he forgot to eat. I was like, all right,
let me go get your food real quick, get you
some Chick fil A, and then we will come. All right,
it is now ten thirty at night on Thursday. We
will go sit down, you can eat, and we will
watch Captain America Bravey A World for you for the

(12:37):
first time. And it was funny because the first time
I watched it since we saw it, and uh, it
was funny, just a pinpoint like oh, yeah, that's in DC.
You're like, yeah, I asked them about that question. You know,
they're my best friends. Now they're not, but it's okay.
But that was night one and we slept in the
same room because his his room was filled the wedding stuff,

(12:57):
so he's got to sleep in my room.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
I mean you you did it.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
The stuff, the amount of stuff that we brung in
from uh More's mom's car, and there's a lot of stuff.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
A lot of stuff. But then Friday morning we awaken
and John immediately has to leave because the flowers they
are not white, they're off yellow, and so he had
to go punch some fists with Costco because Gosco failed
him and his wife. But they figured out. But in
the moment, it was like, oh, hey, do you know.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Who I am I am John hood of I don't
know what channel with his dude seven.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
You don't do news three, Kevin, We'll get the number
right at least.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
I don't know. I don't know. I didn't know what company.
I knew it was number on.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
CBS figure there. But so that he had to do
with that. And so Friday was kind of chill for
me because that was the rehearsal dinner day. Because he
had to do with that. I gotta help him with that,
but that was rehearsal day, So I hung out with
my mom. Maura did drive down to was separate because
she wasn't part of like the actual like doing so

(14:00):
for ceremonies so she could go straight to the Burstal dinner.
Took her seven hours to get from Arlington to Virginia Beach,
so she was not the best uh energetic moon seven
hours would due to somebody would drive.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Somebody's been done about these beach channels because like sometimes
the ant take like foun out to get the ocean city.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
For me, I'm just like it's just to cross the thing.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Why does it take it says one hundred and eighty miles.
It needs to be one hundred and eighty minutes exactly
like literally what it should be. Whoa, here's okay, it's okay.
But then what happened we were was that Thursday or Friday? Intricate? Yeah, yeah,

(14:42):
it's a whole. It all blurs together now now throughout
the end of it. Friday. Oh yeah we did. Uh.
I had to drive my brother's car because it'd play
some switcheroo because he wanted He has a Mazda or
Miata sorry Amada car, which is you know, a little
sit down little kind of looks like a Corvette. Not
for you non car people, that's what it is. And
I drove his Element around. Let me tell you that

(15:03):
Element is from two thousand and six and it drives
like from two thousand and six.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
It is.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
You get hear that car coming. Don't worry about that.
But drove that around because he wanted to drive his
car out from the venue, just like as a married couple.
And the other car was just filled the stuff. So
I was the storage car.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
You know, do you have to put like do you
like tie cans to it? All that kind of stuff.
We did.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
We'll get there, Kevin, Don't worry. We're just on Friday.
We still have a day and a half to go to.
Don't worry. This is why this is news, because this
is gonna take the whole episode. Don't worry. But we
we eventually we get to the rehearsal, and it was
it was a Catholic wedding, so let's preface that too.
And if you've been to a Catholic wedding or even
a churchy wedding, that ceremony is long.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
It is long. There's a whole script. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
One time, my brother, who is a pastor, he showed
me like the Catholic section of the wedding scripts.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
He's like, yeah, look at all this. I'm doing a
Catholic wedding.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
I also say, Jen is Filipino. So it's also even
longer to incorporate cultural stuff in there too, which is great. Hey,
it was beautiful. It is a a lot of standing,
a lot of standing. It was also their priest or
father's first wedding ever in their church, so it was

(16:25):
a lot of like what.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Do I do?

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Like, oh, you tell us what we gotta do?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
That's interesting that it was the first wedding. Yeah, that's
that's very interesting. You guys were the she was guinea
pigs to a degree. Guinea pigs, Yeah, to a degree.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Everything worked out well, it just you're like, you know,
you tell me, I don't know what I'm doing. You
can tell me where I gotta you tell them where
they gotta stand.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
They don't know anybody, did you know of real quick
when you were there, anybody crashed a waying.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
I watch wedding crushes over the weekend as well.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Not that I know of. I don't think so oh will.
They did have a drop last minute, I don't know
how last minute, and they did replace it. So that's
the closest thing to a crasher. I guess, I guess,
but not really they were. They were technically invited just
later exactly. But we had to do the ceremony rehearsal
twice just to figure out what was going on, and

(17:19):
I didn't realize I had to move some chairs around.
I had a little bit of like as best man,
had a little bit of like, get these chairs out
of here, bring these chairs back, give them the reading materials.
And because we were practicing everything, they have to bless
the rings. They didn't have any like the rings with
them in the moment to bless so we use my
actual wedding ring. So half of my marriage is now

(17:41):
blessed by the Catholic Church.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
So good, look at that. Look at that covered both ways.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Now, yeah, we're good that you know it. It was
a dual purpose, full coverage. There we go, then we drove.
Oh it was funny too because the wedding was in
Chesapeake and Chesapeake, Virginia, which is like near Virginia Beach
Hampton Roads, and there's a bridge that leads that you know,
they lift up they let boats go by sometimes and

(18:06):
lifted up right before the rehearsal happened. So half the
wedding party was like thirty minutes late because we can't
go anywhere. We stuck behind this damn bridge.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
That'd been like you know what, I've seen a lot
of video games. I'll keep the wheel streight, hit that jump.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
As long as we got As long as we have
the majority here, long in the bride and groom are here,
that's all that really matters compared to anything else. I
can't really start the wedding without him, but flash for
the rehearsal dinner, that was great. We had at stein Hibbler's,
which is this fancy ass restaurant Virginia Beach. We got
our groomsmen's gifts, which, as you saw, was a little

(18:41):
like a supreme little satchel that all the groomsmen had,
which was dope. I did get Meta sunglasses and thou
those come in clutch, Those come in clutch for partying,
like Kevin. I can't show the videos here until John
approves them, but like having those on a bus and
just bloop, all right, got that moment, Bloop got that moment.

(19:02):
Bloop got that moment. Pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
I know it's crazy because we would have had this
like in twenty ten Google Glass, but for some reason
they stopped.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
They stopped doing it. They didn't really want to. Yeah,
it was cool because I wasn't like doing this the
whole time. Is my vision is your vision? Whenever you
see this video.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
I actually remember you said a couple weeks ago when
you guys went go cart riding that was that was
John medic last year.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
It looked really good, really good video.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah, so we'll see what he approves and then see
where those go or they just stay on my phone
or not. But then we stayed on the ocean front
for the hotels, which is great. Our hotel room looked
right over the beach, which was awesome. It was the
toll floor up. Which is weird too, is that they
were the wedding couple and they got the third floor

(19:46):
but more and I got a toll floor. For some reason.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
I was like, wait a second, Maybe it's because they're
like eve been married longer.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I think it's I think it was through like because
of Marriotte points or like your status or whatever. But
I feel like if you have a wedding block, you
would make sure that the bride and groom are like
the furthest away from everybody on the highest floor, you know.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
But everybody else will be here.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Put I'm over there exactly. Give them learn alone time.
But we wake up Saturday morning and it's a go
time because we found out John well he wants to
go on a morning run at six thirty in the morning.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
God bless y'all. I'm like, man, I love you, John.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
And I think I'm not doing And I did it.
I walked with him for a mile and a half
of my uncle while they did three miles and they
turned around came back. So I was a good start
of the morning and work out them calories and then
John and I we quickly had to get out of
there and pick up the cake, which barely fit Morri's car,
but it fit More's car, which was great. It got
there and I was worried, like, oh, these turns they

(20:43):
got to be wide. They cannot be let me stop. Yeah,
because if this kike gets messed up, they will know
who to blame. If this Kike gets messed up.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
It was it was telling. It was me.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
It was gravity with me.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
It was gravity.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
It wasn't me. Don't blame me.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
I was defying it.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
That's a wicked reference for last weekend's episode. But yeah,
we get to the venue and it was cool. They
their wedding. They had their wedding venue. The reception space
was in Virginia Beach where the wedding the ceremony was
in Chesapeake. It was a big venue. And then they
had two sort of getting ready sweet slash rooms or whatever.
One for the guys, one for the girls. They've been

(21:20):
there since like six am or whatever. At that point,
the TV had a Roku channel and had Netflix. We
pulled up Raw Baby and we were watching Raw while
getting ready. We had Chick fil A introduced the gents
to some summer side, which is those is Vodkay's teas
that are very popular now. And yeah we got ready,
which is good. The photographer came in and I was

(21:41):
making sure, just just taking a lot of photos of
random things, just on my phone or through the meta
glass thing, just because if the photographer wasn't looking in
one direction, I was making sure, like, oh, looking the
other direction. They weren't looking. Just so John had those
memoirs like the photographer was busy with something, so he
didn't see my mom putting the boot in ear brother.
So I think I'm the only one who took photos

(22:02):
of him that happening. So now they have that, which
is good.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
That's a producer in you, like, okay, they're there, camera
be over here.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Another good photo I think is I don't know who
posted it, but my uncle Evan is helping my brother
with his tie, I believe, and my dad's just drinking
in the Hey, you are right, say this is this
is just me.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
As a dad looking at a dad. You can tell
he's so proud of you guys, and I just love
seeing him his smile at you guys. I'm sorry didn't
make get musky but you can have seen that man's
he's so proud of his two sons.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
But then we bore the bus. And obviously I'm not
telling everything because it's John's Wedding's not really mindaddy, even
though I've told a lot, it's just my perspective. Uh.
Party bus was dope. It was fun And I can't
tell you what happens on the party bus until they
tell us. We could sell it on the party bus.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
I said something to my party bus, and I've never
left the party bus, so I don't want to worry
about it.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
We get the venue. The wedding started immediately. As as
soon as we got there, I was like, Okay, get
shit together, we're gonna go. We're gonna go face the piano.
Man has the piano has started. Just as we're going
we get down the aisle. Uh. There was a little
hiccup with their missing some of the like the I

(23:14):
guess it was like the cultural touch points of the wedding.
But the the Matron of honor improvised and got that
under clutch and so it worked out perfectly for their wedding.
They look beautiful. Wedding went out well. Hitch I did
sign the little wedding certificate, and let is be a
friendly minder. John, if you have not sent in your
wedding certificate, you gotta send that in before your honeymoon, bud,

(23:36):
because you won't be technically legally married.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Actually happened to a friend of mine.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
They got married in Prince George's County, but they got
their wedding certificate in Baltimore County. But technically they weren't
married until like they got married in like a like
a May, they weren't literally until September.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
That's pro tip if you are engaged or getting married anytime,
make sure that's taken care of because if it doesn't
technically have to go do it again, and if it's
church wedding, you gotta do the whole thing again.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
One quick question anyone, you don't have to answer for
you if you don't want to comfortable. Did John cry
when he what he saw?

Speaker 1 (24:09):
He he geeked out because I was I was kind
of as the best man. You're like, You're like, I
want to see what John's reaction is, but I also
want to see how Jen looks, you know, at the
same time, because also a groom's reaction is kind of
tells you about the relationship, like I cried on my wedding,
that's okay, and there's emotions going around and all that
he geeked out it was. It was just funny. That's

(24:31):
definitely my relationship. And yeah, it was really perfect. I
think those are the good reactions you want. If it's like, oh, girth, look,
then that's not a good reaction for a groom to
have his bride that he's about to marry.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
I didn't cry, but I grinned.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
And the funny part though, was when she can finally
get them down the aisle, we join hands. She looked
at me and goes, I'm hungry.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Okay, let's let's feed this up. Please please agree, straight
us up, I'm hungry.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
You want to get in.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
But speeding through the wedding, got back on the party bus.
That was wild because we had some tequila shots on
that bus and then I was all that was a
fun time, and we get to the venue. Took a
lot of photos.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
One thing real quick, one thing the parts, what kind
of us to explaining? What was it?

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Pop?

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Was it? It was?

Speaker 1 (25:18):
It was our music, Kevin. It was like two thousand's
R and B and hip hop, in twenty ten is
a little bit too degrees.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
That's perfect.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
It was a good vibe. I was like, I'm not
mad about this. And this is how I realized, like
I am only two years older than John, so that
makes sense that we like like the same music that
far away, not that far. They did have a Baja
Rita as one of their signature cocktails, which I thought
was great. It was good. It was good every time
you man, it was refreshing too, which is what you

(25:48):
needed sometimee.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
That's the point. It refreshes you. That's that's what's important
about it.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Uh. And then best man speech time happen. Food was great.
It was mission barbecue and salmon. The salmon job salmons barbecue,
I don't know if it's just a catering thing was delicious.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
So yeah, I mean your by food was I don't
eat beef at all. So when your wedding we had
it was was a steak.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
What was the stakes?

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Prim Arri was like primary something like that.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I was nervous because I was like, I don't really beef.
I was like, this is amazing, Why don't I eat beef?

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Maura loved the salmon, so shout out to them because
she's pessctarian. So it worked out. But then we fast
forward best man speech I think went off without a hitch. Unfortunately,
the matron of honor had had has she has kids.
Uh so she was dealing with their kids and she
was supposed to go first. I was like, and they're like, well, Andrew,
you're up, Like, all right, let's go do this. I

(26:44):
guess and uh, I think speech went off without a hitch.
I did give them to I stole my brother's copy
of Pokemon Red, like when they were moving from his
stuff from his room to their house. He didn't know
about till the wedding day. And I gave Jen my
copy of Pokemon Blue. We kind of short and sweeped up. Yeah,
and so there's footage. I gotta look for it. My

(27:06):
brother had someone film it too, so whenever he gets that,
I'll figure a game on cable. I did not. They
have to pay there. That's a buck. Sorry, going to
spring for the game like cable. It didn't look as
good with the game when cable. Sorry. Uh uh but

(27:26):
more and I uh that one great more and I
held the dance floor down. Jen did have a dress change. Uh.
So they were gone for a little bit, but we
kept that dance floor alive, line Dances Galore and uh,
which was fun as hell. They did their giveaways and
they had a cookie box that we kind of did
last year, and they had a deck of cards with
their faces on the back of it, which was cool.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Cool. Yeah, I remember your cookie bar. I spent a
lot of time in the cookie bar.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
It's not a lot of time that cookie bar and
uh throughout the night just highlights. I remember during Golden
how we made sure all the like older couples uh
in our family more and I were like, hey, let
us take a photo of you two because like, you
guys look good and it's Golden Hour, and we took
them all outside while like John and Jen and everyone's
dancing or whatever, and just took photos of them like

(28:14):
my uncle, my dad, my grandparents and them, like yeah,
that way, you guys have nice photos like this and
not just like oh, you know, you guys showed up
too and looked good. Exactly, We're part of this, yes,
and you remember it. You will remember it. And then yeah,
John and Jen had a send off with Bubbles, which
was great. We cleaned up. They had an after party

(28:35):
which was great because morn I got some cheese furs
and after porny at we at the bar across the hotel,
went to sleep and then Sunday woke up, got brunch
or got a little Mongolian lunch with everybody and left.
It's essentially like a It's kind of like a buffet
to a degree where you put everything in the bowl
and they put it on this like big plate and

(28:56):
they cook it for you and they cook it around
the circle and then give it to you like, oh,
it's like Star Friday a little bit too. It was good.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
It used to be a place in Columbia that had that,
and I could go to all the time. On the
work down they want we're the best.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
But it was really good.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Yeah, really good. I forget. It's the place in Chesapeake
is called Warrior Girl. It's really good. If you can
find something similar, go get that. And more could get
something to because she could vegetables or fish or whatever
she wanted to do. But overall, great wedding weekend. Glad
we got to celebrate them. Jens now a hood which
is great. And yeah they go on their their honeymoon
this Wednesday. They're going to Hawaii. And I did find

(29:28):
out they are going on a Jurassic Park tour, which
is cool. Like through that.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Somebody else on going Onwai. It's on the same thing
right now. She don't dress.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
It's the thing to do. Baby, It's fine. I think
they Hawaii figured out, Yeah, we can be easy money
doing ATV tours of like worthy film Jurassic Park.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
I gotta figure out one day because my sister is
a Jurassic Park like Jurassic Parks are star Wars. But
she hates plane rides over an hour and a half.
But I got forgot why to knock her out and
take her over the Hawaii can see it.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Who are you going to door about?

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Overall great. I think probably for their honeymoon. We will
get John on here just to do a debrief of
his honeymoon and all that good stuff cause he's part
of the family, literally part of my family and all
that go. Yes, lost together, there you go, but beyond
that really good and follow John at john Hood. I

(30:19):
think it's what is it now? He changes it every
time at night john Hood TV is a TV one
john Hood twenty nine. There you go. He changes it
with his age every time. There you go.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
That's nice, but yeah, aggress of John rested you best man,
and also congress to the entire hood family for a
full family of married people.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Now we're done. We are done, and so one more member.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
You see behind you know he's not there. Okay, get
teddy hit.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
We're not doing a dog wedding, Kevin. Okay, we're not
those people. We are not.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
It's free Instagram monizations. You do a dog wedding, you'll
be a rich man.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
All you gotta do is just buy the chewy collection
of the bride and groom. Actually, and you're good, maybe
like twenty bucks. You're done.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
I got a boy daughter in mind that we can
get married together. But I think I think I don't
think Cody likes me. Colden's an like dogs, because that's
a whole thing about Cody's a cast.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
You got a cat, Yeah, he hangs out with cat.
There you go. But that was life news. Now let's
get on into the gaming news. No, no, no news. Yeah,
this isn't first things first, but we're gonna break down
Summer game Fest. Now, Kevin, you were in charge, and

(31:38):
you were near a computer or a phone a lot
more than I was this weekend so overall, this past
week of Summer Game Fest is one singular event, but
it's also an over encompassing the whole week. Essentially, wear
your kind of highlights just from everything. Irregardless of Summer
Game Fest being.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Highlight, honestly was not want of the James Bond games
that was.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
I think I watched a little bit of Xboxes. I
was like, okay, cool, I really want to see more
news about Fable and I didn't really get what I wanted,
but it's just fine. They don't owe me anything, but
I wanted to. I want to see more Fable stuff.
Honestly with PlayStations. Until I saw the James Bond I
was like, oh, here we go, another mid gig game
games thing.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
But that was no takeaway. I didn't realize that James
Bond would make a really cool video game.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Yeah, I mean we had Double seven back in the
day and I kind of forgot about it. But thee
the way they're doing to here. We talked about talk
about the last week and Mien I talked about it
in the chat. It's basically kind of like Hitman plus
a little more action. It makes a lot of sense,
and I think we take away with that.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
I think it's also that we'll find out as we
get closer where that game comes out. I think it's
next year, right, it comes out, yes, twenty six is
how do they balance that Hitman gameplay style, slash game engine,
the feel, the vibe kind of get that vibe a
little bit too to having an actual like action game
where you're not just looking for someone in a crowd.

(33:06):
You know, you got to do certain things to complete
the mission. Definitely vibes of Uncharted in the Indiana Jones
game that obviously came out in this most recent year. Yeah,
it'll be exciting and it will be interesting to see
when this game comes out, will we actually have an
actual movie new James Bond or not, because with it,

(33:27):
you know another essentially another year, what happens with the
James Bond franchise outside of the video games, because that
also probably determined what happens in the video games if
they try to include it or save stories or not.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Because Amazon's still involved with in with this game, because
at the beginning of the trailer they said Amazon MGM Studios,
they're still involved with I guess, I guess they have
control of over things Bond through all not just movies
but video games.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
Will gets some books too, maybe, but yeah, that was
my main thing.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Other than that, it just looks like it may be
another I don't want to say, a lack lest two
year for game, but not a lot of mark He releases.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
I think it's also like it's not like less a
year for game, but it's more like we know everything
that's coming out Alrighty. It wasn't a lot of like
oh my god moments where you're like, I can't wait.
And I think it's because and everyone's that was waiting
for GTA six to come out this year has already
announced their games for this year pretty much, and everyone
else is like, we're gonna save it until g six

(34:26):
and now or GT six we know it's coming out
May twenty six. They're like, it's a little too early
for us to announce our game because we want it
to come before or way after GTA six.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
I want to be nowhere near It's kind of like
when we kind of figure out the movie released rather
than this movie, like we'll be nowhere near it.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Well, and proof of that is even today or yesterday
they announced that the Legendzelda movie is gonna take the
weekend that Secret Wars got pushed from. It's like, yeah,
that's a vacuum now that they can swell up and
take all that money from.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
See.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
But these are the games, Like I'm just looking at
our fantasy critics of big games we know that are
coming out just this year alone. Obviously we'll talk about everything.
I announced a little bit after after you saw what
you saw on Thursday. Def Stranding two on the Beach
comes out this month, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater three and
four next month, which did get Michaelandro, which was kind
of cool.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
And then I announced ye think that the demos available, Yes.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
That too if you pre order it. Doctor Companan's a
Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater in August, Borderlands four
in September, Ghost of Yota October, Pokemon Legend z A October,
Outer Worlds too in October. So like those are just
until October. We're pretty stacked for games. Just we all,
we know about all of them pretty much by now.

(35:44):
My bo took off a week for Borderlands four, and
you're like, oh, that's not the it's always it's always
of the aging time. It's not DJ six, Like, well.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
It'll be easy week could work for me. So go
ahead and take your time, boss.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Ye give me some updates a long way, just if
you like it. That's all I want to know.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
You guys. Good there, we're fun, have fun playing a game.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
He cuts his vacation time short because he hates the game, like,
oh damn it. That's not good. Not a good sign,
not a good sign at all. But Summer Game Fest,
I don't remember which one, which order of these hats.
You can talk about Summer Game best the event first.
So have a big announcements working backwards, Kevin, So go
to the bottom of the article and we'll go allway
top because this article put the biggest announcement at the top.

(36:24):
We found out that Tom Hardy will be involved in
some degree with Chronicles Medieval, which is cool. Whether it's
just a trailer, it's a PC game, you know, just
it's those medieval type games. Not a big deal, but
still cool. Nonetheless, Lego Voyagers will be a two player
co op adventure with like a split fiction style friends
pass if you want to play that. I do like

(36:45):
the Lego games are diversifying. But go to your bread
and Butter, give me a Dan Lego in Finity War
or Saga or whatever.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
We need a license, a license Lego game. Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Sonic Racing, Cross Worlds. You know they're Mario Kurt knock off.
We'll have Hot sooner, Mikulaga, Dragons, Ichi Ban Kasuga, Personal
Five's Joker and Minecraft Steve as guest racers. So you
know that thing we wanted Mario Kart to finally do
Sonics beating up, beating him do it.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
No, it's funny.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Mario Kart could do it, probably much easier because so
many other characters they just Nintendo to They pull him
a lot.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
They can pull so much more, just the Tendo family.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
And I think it's because Herby. I think it's Air Racers.
I think it's what it's called, like that's happening. So
they can't have Kirby obviously, because they're trying to do
his own game. I don't remember, I remember because I
haven't really seen a lot of coverage because of the
wedding this weekend. I don't think Link is in Mario
Kart World Tour as far as I know as of
right now. If he has correct me, that's toil Okay,

(37:46):
but it does look like, you know, we're trying to
keep our bread and butter, but not maybe you know,
maybe next year when they do a Mario Kart World
Tour Deluxe, that's when you added in these crossover characters.
If you we're going to a different world.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
Bring bring back diddycon racing out and stand by that.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Yes, we will appreciate that. On top of all of
that too, we did find out that Scott Pilgrim ex
is a new co op brawler that looks like that
one Scott program. Great, but hey, gotta keep Scott Pilgrim
relevant in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
I mean, that's trying. I like the Netflix series that
they released a couple of two years ago. It's not
getting renewed. The books are over. I mean, unless you
want to do another live action thing of this, I
don't know what else you keep doing to keep regularly.
It's a great book series. Look it up and buy
it on Amazon. It's a great book series, great movie
too from two.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Thousand and nine.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
Sure seven, But like like I said, if they're trying
to keep it relevant for some reason, see what happens
in the future.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
We'll see hit Man World of Assassination, which is that
sort of deluxe version of all the hit Man games.
And this is fun little crossover for the Double O seven.
We'll have Mad Migleson reprising his Casino Royale character and
an exclusive mission, so that's kind of fun. We'll crossover
connection to the game with the Daniel Craig movie.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Pretty cool, actually interesting. By the way, it's twenty ten.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
It waste a lot of time time Gamer Thrones. It's
getting another game that apparably nobody's gonna play. That's wild.
It's wild too that this week the Game of Thrones
iPhone game came out.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
Give it that so much?

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Like I guess other media besides books and TV shows
that are like games that nobody knows.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Nobody knows about it.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Like the Telltale game is great because you're main character
dies in the first episode, like, oh what are we
doing now? And they're like, okay, it was it was
pretty decent. But everything else is here's a mobile game,
here's another mobile game.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Like remember when Old of Rings is hated, we got
at the Bord of the Rings pin on games. They
were really good. I thought Game of Throws have that,
but they haven't really got that.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
It is interesting too, is that the Gamer Thrones games,
they are very cinematic trailers for the very simple, slash
dumb games that they are riding. And Gamer Thrones War
for rest Ros looks like it's gonna be is like
a tower defense RTS game, but the trailer makes it
seem like it's a what if scenario, like you control
who you want to win, west Rows and all this stuff.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
It's another RTS game. I got Bill Tower and put
the air on the person.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
It's stupid, stupid like that. We found out Lives of
p Overture. It's that new DLC that's out now. Definitely
check that out if you care. Still waiting for that
Wizard of Oz spin off maybe next year after Wicked
for good?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Thank you waiting for Actually that's actually very good point.
Pick it back off of that.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
Yeah, and our big announcement from Summer Game Fest, the
closing announcement. Well, Kevin, we have to go to reaction
theater now, do you have reaction theater ready? Reaction thea
because we have to talk about the new trailer for
Resident Evil Requiem. Now, Kevin, I'm assuming you've seen it
by now, yes, I actually no, I have not seen

(40:49):
first I watched it. So on the count of three,
we're gonna hit play and talk about is this the
ninth Resident Evil game or is it a spin off
to lead to the ninth Resident Evil Game? Because it's confusing,
I'll tell you that.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
There's a lot of resieval things going on. Then can
make confu.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Alright, So one, two, three, hit play, buddy, it's quiet, quiet,
start there we go. All right, we're in a building,
sex Get what that cee I a build walking mechanics.
You can hear in the audio version of the podcast

(41:28):
walking on carpet baldhead like me, look at these bold
mechanics are doing?

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Actually bold A part trailer makes one of one to
get a really good oppos.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
All right, so it is you know, starting, we know
what it is. But the trailer starting off like what
is this?

Speaker 3 (41:58):
What is what's this disease? Gray sash crock.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
Yes, Grace my office.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
Oh won't wait to.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Walk playing that's Grace's game. What's screwed?

Speaker 1 (42:19):
M m m hm.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
If this is about the report you asked for yesterday,
it'll be ready and.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
We're quiet because more vibe. This trailer.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
One that exhibits the same pathology as the others have
been investigating viruses. Know, I need a good technical analyst
on this.

Speaker 3 (42:41):
Analyst. I need your eyes on the crime scene.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
What could it be, Kevin?

Speaker 3 (42:52):
The Roman Hotel?

Speaker 1 (42:54):
Hotel. We're going to a hotel, baby, spooky hotel.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
That's where your mother was murdered, up Up. Lissa died
eight years ago. Perhaps it's time for you to face
the past.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
Hold the box. I don't get mom about it. Hey,
get over it.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
That's not good. And when wind missing boasters here the

(43:48):
one that I've been searching for, special one, the chosen
Us sash Croft. Oh, I'm I say, investigating all these
strange deaths, huh. We need to keep our voices down.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
Have you seen the same shit I've seen?

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (44:07):
Curse you, I hope everyone. What's that? Kevin?

Speaker 1 (44:15):
See dial life? It is a long trill? Oh lord?
Oh nope, wreck me. Here you go, Resident Evil ricky

(44:38):
ak nine sort of maybe February twenty seventh, twenty twenty six,
that's when we can get the game.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
Kevin.

Speaker 1 (44:46):
You're gonna be playing Resident Evil requiem.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
But it's very interesting, true, So it is funny. I
played Village.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
I think I did beat Village. I didn't play the DLC.
But it is very funny how the protagonists for the
Resident Evil franchise look very similar. I just differentiate them.
You don't give them different hairstyles. They all have the
short blonde hair, and it's like, just do something different
for us.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
They have a type and they will.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
They will do with it. But sort of the end
of this trailer, being sort of the nuts and bolts
of everything, is that we are going to a haunted hotel,
which is cool. Uh is a premise to a degree,
and we will be dealing with the aftermath and fallout
of Raccoon City being nuked at the end of Resident
Evil too, which is cool because like that's like the
bread and butter the Resident Evil franchise.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Basically, I mean, this franchise is just so inherently creepy,
but it's nice to kind of see that expanding the
world of the repercussions of what this company is doing.
So I kind of like that part of it. I'll
like that part of the Resident Evil franchise. I'm just
not good at horror games. I refuse to do it
like that.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
This Silent Hill, even I'm awake to it. Oh no,
I can't do it well.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
Here's what's here, and this is why you do the
hoodie method. You put that baby on story mode or
easy mode and you're not running from nothing. You're scared still,
but you're like, I got this. I can still do this.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Maybe I could have did it maybe years ago doing
the old systems, when when controls were twenty bucks. It's
to twenty five hours, Like I can't be affording to two.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
I got a time like that. Sorry. Yeah, the game
comes out February twenty seven, so you know that does
paint our picture of that's your big feb end of February,
early March game Grand fift dollar six. Obviously, still like
we said end of May, can't can't go wrong with
a new Resident Eval game. They always hit, they always
do well financially as.

Speaker 3 (46:38):
Well, so we make the maybe the last few years
those do very two.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
I do wonder this one will be like the the
first ones, where like the camera is not constant, it
changes as as you go around. Because it looks like
it wasn't a game trailer like you had that feeling
of it's going to be creepy and thrilling, so we're
not going to show you what's around the Corner game
right stick well, and so that was.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
So Resident Evil Village was first person too, So I
don't know. I mean this announced trailers, you don't know
if the game is gonna be first played first person
or it's gonna be third person, kind of like a
Resident Evil four or in Resident Evil two. But there
are mechanics behind that that determines like how scary a
game is, you know.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
And also I definitely believelieve that whoever that that guy
is that sent her to that hotel and that's her
waking up upside down on a gurney, that guy's getting
events from HR as soon as they get back.

Speaker 3 (47:30):
How dare you send?

Speaker 1 (47:32):
How Well? Kevin? We can switch on over from that
back to normal view for now right now, because we
now have to talk about the Xbox Showcase, which kind
of was the last big, big, big, big, big big
thing from summer Game Fast Kevin, did you see any
the announcements or you're like, Okay, maybe I saw something anouncement.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
I didn't see it.

Speaker 2 (47:53):
I didn't see any other actual showcase because I was
driving to the seventy fifth birthday party I.

Speaker 3 (47:57):
Was going to.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Didn't see any of the showcase by to see some
of the announcements again cool, but nothing that's like, yeah,
you know, I gotta get it.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Yeah. I Xbox kind of as a pre and posting
kind of said, you know, all our big things we
had have come out, you know, South of Midnight and
all those games and the out of Worlds we've known
about forever, they're out or they're coming out. You know,
next year is when we're kind of gunna reveal everything
that's cooking right now. So next year, meaning the twenty
fifth anniversary of Halo, probably should be the big year,

(48:32):
you know.

Speaker 3 (48:33):
Yeah, And they were teasing, like me to know what
it was. It's Halo. We know what's Halo. But it
was cool with the Years of War come back.

Speaker 2 (48:41):
I did like some of the stuff I saw from
the Invincible Fighting game, but nothing that just kind of
just like, yes, let's do this, Xbox.

Speaker 3 (48:48):
We're back, baby, you know I did. It. Still feels
like there are a service platform first, video game maker second,
well we'll.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
Talk about we'll see, we'll see, we'll talk about that thing. Then.
Now it's at the end, so big announcements. Outer Worlds too.
We'll be getting a release October twenty ninth, up city
and really showing off. You know, we got avowed, we
got this and also don't worry Grounded that's also coming
out this year to three video games in the span
of one year.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
We did it.

Speaker 1 (49:16):
We did it, baby, and you cannot say like that's
coming out obviously. Gratitude, which is kind of like Honey
Shrunk the Kids the Backyard game if you didn't play,
that's coming a game preview at the end of July.
That was a game that was in early access for
the longest time. And we'll probably be doing the same
thing as well, because why not. You can always just
update the game as many times as you want, you

(49:38):
know exactly. Speaking of games, you can update all the time.
High on Life too. We'll be coming to all consoles.
No dates on when it's actually coming out. It was
announced the game was okay. It was amidst the high
controversies of justin Royland, so it was a weird time
playing that game and everything. It'll be interest see how

(50:01):
a see a second one of that goes because it
was a game pass Darling, but I don't know if
it was a franchise Darling like the warrant a sequel
and get as much.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
Successful idea, But can we keep doing this? I don't
know if he keeps us up.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
Yeah, like the game, the guns can only talk to
me for so long before I mute the guns. We
did find out this should be higher in the list,
but it wasn't. Xbox technically has a handheld because it
is working with rog Ally, a company that works on

(50:36):
sort of like mobile PC game controllers, to make the
rog xpot the rog Xbox ally x yep, long ass name.
Details aren't so much on it as much, but it
does look like a switch with an Xbox version, but
it isn't fully, you know, an Xbox handheld. It is
very Xbox integrated with like Nvidia tablet or one of

(50:59):
those things that you can buy for my best buy
and something to integrate those games into.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
Honestly, depending on the cost of this, I would actually
rather have this in the Xbox series XORs M because
I feel like it will fit my purposes a little
bit more than having another another big old system in
my house.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
So just we'll first first look at it.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
As of right now, this isn't the price for the
new one I just got announce a raw Ally starts
at three seventy nine can go up to nine hundred
based on what version you wants, so not too bad.
It just depends how integrated Xbox is with it. Really
is that because usually this would be the top announcement,
but it's like, that's really cool. But is it a

(51:37):
competitor with the Nintendo Switch or is it just like, hey,
we're tiptoe we're tiptoeing into the waters with this, or
is it like.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
PlayStation is one of ours, Like oh yeah, it's handheld,
but you gotta be promoting into a PlayStation play games exactly, crazy.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
Exactly now, Kevin, you don't have to show this trailer.
This is mostly for me and I'm just gonna talk
about it. What's going on. We did get dlc VEO
for Indiana Jones in the Great Circle. It's gonna be
called the Order of the Giants. And you know, boy,
your boy has been obsessed with this game, and you
know I beat it about a month ago now, and

(52:11):
looks like, you know what, we're hanging out those Neffelheim
giants again and we're going back to Italy this time.
Roll my baby.

Speaker 3 (52:18):
Oh oh good h granted Auto God of War right
and Rock Ain't going nowhere? And this is gonna be new.
This has your attention, which is great. I love Indiana Jones.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
I'll probably say I probably won't play the game for
a while because my Xbox is I don't tell you
my spot Mike died.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
Well, you can play it on PlayStation now, Kevin, so.

Speaker 3 (52:39):
Now.

Speaker 2 (52:40):
But I'm happy that the game has you, has its
firm grips on you kind of like me, and mass
effect of Batman and a whole lot of other game.

Speaker 1 (52:46):
Yes, so this is cool. Like obviously hopefully this DLC
like kind of learns from sort of the missteps the
main game learned, and because it is set in Rome,
like Italy, might have been the best level of Indiana Jones.
And I think expanding that because you were in the
Vatican City in Rome is literally there, could hopefully only
be better. I don't think this will make or break

(53:08):
the game, but I do hope it is something that
if people enjoy the game, they can enjoy this, and
hopefully this is a tease to maybe a second one,
like I kind of said for it comes out September fourth,
twenty twenty five, which we're just looking at right now.
And the cool thing is if you had the premium
any of the additions. I think even the game Pass
edition you get to the DLC for free, which is

(53:30):
we love even.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
More's the announcement this, did they say how long it
was want to be?

Speaker 1 (53:35):
Uh, they didn't really so much. I would assume probably
like five six hours depending on how long and if
you like collectibles all that. But I don't see it
as like, oh, we're going I think it's just rome,
Like you're not going to multiple settings and everything. I mean,
this game really was here is an open level of
a of a city to explore. I think it's gonna

(53:56):
be the same thing. I do think, you know, learning
from the Aridge game, you know, streamline the missions. You
don't need a thousand collectibles. There don't need to be
a thousand collectibles for no reason. You know. The fighting
it was okay, but you don't need to have a
lot of fighting levels because they're really dumb. Because the
Jones isn't about that type of franchise. Yeah. Yeah, and

(54:21):
I think overall this is hopefully step in the right
direction for him. It's all a same.

Speaker 3 (54:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
I think it's a good idea to keep keep the
franchising because it was pretty well reviewed. Pretty well received.
It didn't get like overall, like I want to say,
trying to compared to another game. It was like kind
of like like like like a Jedi Jedi Survivor where
it just took over for a little while. There wasn't
like that level. But it still was well received for
Jones game, and I'm happy to kind of focus on

(54:48):
puzzles rather than just like the squash buckling that we
see in these say, he's not really a fighter.

Speaker 3 (54:53):
He just happens to get into a stupid situation.

Speaker 1 (54:55):
And gets out of them quickly circumstances. And then on
top of that, we did get an announcement enough, hey,
an Invincible fighting game is happening, a three VV three
v three combat for PC and consoles. No word on
when it's coming out, it's being worked on right now.
It is interesting though that we everyone's diving into fighting

(55:18):
games because we do have is Marvel tacone or Tacon
that got announced, and that was the.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
Other game that nobody saw it coming. It was like,
no one who want to do Marvelous. Capcom We're doing
that Marble though.

Speaker 1 (55:29):
Yes, and we're doing it with just not Capcom, and
like Capcom's involved at all, and it is interesting that
I feel like that really was the talk of the
town and for this to get out and saying, okay
it is, I don't know. It's apparently the makers of
Killer Instinct are making the game, so it does give
it some But I do feel like it because it

(55:49):
is sort of just a level fighter and not like
open world, kind of like a like a dragon Ball
Sparking Zero is where it's very like across and expanding everything.
It'll be limited. Who see if I mean, it would
probably come a game pass. It'll probably be worth that
and maybe by the time the game comes out, they'll
tease I know, she's an invincible, so we can only
hope for that too.

Speaker 2 (56:10):
As you say that, I'm kind upset it's not like
a Sparking Zero because the way those fights happened in.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
Here over there.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Yeah, yeah, I'm kind of mad scruise game.

Speaker 1 (56:19):
But who knows. I mean, it was just the announcement,
so we'll see as we get more info. But we
also did get the announcement Final Fantasy seven remake Integrate
will be coming Xbox this winter. Final Fantasy sixteen's out
on the console now, so you can play every Final
Fantasy game ever eventually at the end of this year,
which is cool because it's you gotta have a PS

(56:40):
five if you want to play Final Fantasy seven remake
and rebirth and whatever the next one is going to
be called. And it's cool that you can now play
on Xbox King the heart's learned that way, and now
Final Fantasy is doing the same thing. Cool.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
Fell Fantasy is such a story franchise I had. They're
putting them all in one place for you. That's that's
really cool because I mean, shoot, what do you want
to like fifteen.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
Now sixteen sixteen? Yes, correct a lot of games man,
and it spans so many consoletans and spinoff types of.

Speaker 2 (57:09):
Games and the spinoffs too, So that's a great way
to actually to celebrate an entire franchise. I'm not gonna
play it because I've never been a big Final Fantasy person.
I like to RPGs, but I don't like Final Fancies
that much. You can lost no characters, but this is
a great way to honor that franchise.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
And it's nice just to have access to it no
matter what you have exactly exactly during the raw ally,
I think we did learn more info about Hollow Night
Silk Song doubling down on a twenty twenty five release date.
We saw a lot of gameplay on that little handheld console,
so we'll find out.

Speaker 3 (57:43):
We'll see what happens.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
Still no no legit release date, but said twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (57:50):
What what? What's twenty twenty five? What day twenty twenty five?
We promise we're going to be.

Speaker 1 (57:55):
There New Year's Eve. It still counts. The reviews will
be in twenty twenty six. But the game came out
in twenty twenty five. Uh. And then the last announcement
in which kind of Kevin I think sums up Kevin
while I was kind of sort of showcase. We have
an announcement you've all been winning for, been with us
a whole time, and it's just Call of Duty Black
Ops seven. It's going to consoles. We do know Michael

(58:18):
Rooker's coming back, and my levent Amilia will be the
main character in the game too. It's cool. Call of Duty.
I know six was very well received for the campaign.
It was like seven. They're trying to do a little
more remedy Alan Wake Vibes, which could be cool.

Speaker 3 (58:33):
Yeah, what's what's studios doing? This year.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
U it's put studios every year. It's almost like the
off year where it's good just a game.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
Okay, name Black Ops seven, Trey Arc and Raven Software,
it says I googled.

Speaker 2 (58:51):
Yeah, I think Raven Software is the one that's usually
has to has a good uh the good storyline, and
Tree just wanted to just better with the the online stuff.
I haven't played Colleague Modern Warfare one, so it's been
a while for me.

Speaker 1 (59:03):
It's on game past, so you could enjoy it that way,
but overall not the biggest summer game past. But hey,
we always love good announcements, and it's cool that. Really
this year is we're like, hey, you get played most
of these games anywhere now, which is great.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
That that honestly, that's that's the best thing about it.
Like literally, like I remember going back to weddings. At
your wedding last year, I was literally in a hotel
room in Prince William, Virginia playing my PS five through
my iPad and and in the bluetooth connection.

Speaker 3 (59:34):
Pretty cool here we beat that.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
Next wedding, He'll we have the Xbox handheld in his
hands playing Silk Song hopefully.

Speaker 3 (59:40):
Actually, my next wedding is this this fall my nephew's
getting married.

Speaker 1 (59:46):
Maybe he'll be playing Pokemon Legends, Z and A on
his gender.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
Switch Friend of the Show with Damon. He'll be getting
married this fall at some point. You haven't give me
a date yet. He's very he's very, very sneaky.

Speaker 1 (59:57):
Very hopefully there is a date, though, right it's you
just don't know the day.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he tells us in September.
We a little to worry about.

Speaker 1 (01:00:04):
It, That's okay, and you're like, that's fine, here's your gift.
I know, I'm good, but let us know what your
highlight was from summer game Fast This past week. It
was a lot of just going on with that. So obviously,
thank you for bearing with us as we covered everything.
Kevin held it down on Thursday, but we're back in
full effect. Baby, you did, you did. You covered the

(01:00:28):
Wicked for Good trailer, and I was proud of you
because I was, you know, I was like, that's not
his cap te, but you know what, he figured it out.

Speaker 3 (01:00:35):
I enjoy the Wicked franchise. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
So even though it was a little bit tough, I'm
not Mary with what actual play. It's enjoyable movie.

Speaker 3 (01:00:42):
So I was like, I'm for this cool And actually
to learn they filmed this one before they filmed the
first one. I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
Hmmm, they filmed for Good first and then they filmed
Wicked that came out last year.

Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
Well that makes sense. We'll find out that's fall. But
you can see everything we talked about today and so
much more at Infinite Underscore pods. You can be part
