Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerdy news and need to know
throughout the week on iHeartRadio went bad cast services around
the world. Because my name's Solo, honey, that's Dolo Teddy
and you're officially listening to this souload Dolo episode What
Teddy Crisis on Infinite Podcast. Correct good sub good job. Yeah,
(00:29):
all right, now you can rest your throat, good sir,
because people can hear you.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
I can hear you in the playbacks.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Who are good to go? It is a Solo Doload day. Fortunately,
Kevin got caught in work meetings, which is totally understandable
because you need to make that money so we can
invest in this podcast. Then you guys can enjoy and
all that good stuff. So Kevin won't be here, uh
for today's episode, but we'll talk about everything going forward
for not the foreseeable future, but just with Fantastic four
(00:56):
and all that good stuff. But we still have a
jam pack show for you today. Top of sharing my
Superman review, which I'm very excited to talk about because
it's all I've been thinking about since I saw it
on Friday, We're gonna talk about an update on what's
happening with those that across. Actually it's Beyond the Spider
Verse movie. I think tentatively, We're still not sure if
it's gonna be called Beyond the Spider Verse or not,
(01:16):
but who knows. Aka the Miles Morales movies. We're gonna
talk about our last minute thoughts predictions for Fantastic four
First Steps, because let's face it, it's four days away from
coming out, which you've probably seen on all the social
medias today, so it's probably a prime time for you
to enjoy and have fun and just get hyped because
we can do the four Horsemen logo again and it's
cool because it's you know, Travis Scott and Fantastic four somemo.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
I don't know, it's a whole thing.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
And we're gonna look at some trailers. We're gonna go
to Reaction Theater, talk about the Predator Badlands trailer which
came out today as this podcast recording, and Mortal Kombat Too,
which came out last week. We didn't get a chance
to talk about it, but I'll watch it talk about
it because, well, how do think that first movie came out?
I think four years ago if I am correct on
(02:00):
which is peak pandemic. So let's see what Warner Brothers
and NETHERELM and Mortal Kombat, whatever the film side of
it is going to do. Now that it is, you know,
full steam ahead with theaters and people wanting to actually
see it. And you know, we got Johnny Cage now,
which is cool. It's cal urban. Will he just be
you know himself from the Boys or will he be good?
(02:21):
We'll find out Carlburn kind Henemis, But we'll get there.
But you can see everyone to talk about today so
much more by keeping a locked at Infinite Underscore pod
z on the Instagram odiax go and give it chill.
We always have a good time there giving you up
to date trailers including you know, ted Lasso getting announced.
We'll talk about that in a little bit. Season four
getting announced, we'll talk about that in a little bit
as well. But you can also be part of the podcast.
(02:43):
You can interact with us live while we're doing it
Twitch dot tv or YouTube dot com, Slash Infinite Underscore
pods as well. It's always fun on a solo dolo
day because that's really when we test either Kevin or
my computers to see if they can really do both
tasks of recording for YouTube shreaming for Twitch at the
same time. But hey, we're good so far. We get
(03:04):
to the trailers, that's probably want to mess up, and
that's okay. Well, we will manage audio listeners on the
podcast feed note on a podcast service near you, you're covered.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I got you. We'll out. Don't worry about the flubs
like that.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
But the cool thing is on Twitch right now, we
are part of the We're an affiliate now whatever that means.
We're learning it as we go as much as you're
learning it too. Learn through us, then take advantage and
do better than us, and that's totally okay. But the
coolest thing is if you have Amazon Prime. Y'all also
got Twitch Prime, which means you can subscribe to us
for free. I'm currently working on some emotes that you
(03:38):
can use exclusively from us. One of them is Kevin
reacting doing this with an iconic Kevin. A lot of
them are gonna be Kevin. I tell you that right now,
Rambo Kevin pretty much think Kevin as Frank from Always
Suny in Philadelphia this podcast, and he has many suits,
many different options, different like if you're like, oh, I
want Santa Kevin, I want Artsy Kevin. We have all
(04:00):
the options and where work on them. It's completely for free.
It helps us improve this podcast, to improve it for
you guys, and just keep this nerdy journey going on
because we're figuring it as we go and so forth.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
So good, I like to say.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
But normally this is where we do something we like
to call what you're doing, where you talk about the
shows and movies. We've been watching games, we've been playing lives,
we've been living teddy. I see you over there, I
see you over there. Yes, right, you think you're not
in the camera. You're in the camera this time when
we're solo dolo uh, and just have a good time.
And the best part of this when it's solo dolo,
(04:35):
you guys get to interact and tell us what you're
playing and watching and doing and all those good things.
But as for me, it was kind of a low
key weekend compared to going to Canada the weekend before
and then Universal weekend before. Thank god, that's kind of
needed a low key weekend before going into anything like
next month with an hour bank's trip and all that stuff.
I'm excited for, but it needs a down weekend, So okay,
(05:01):
but because of that, your boy did catch up on
four things really video game wise, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
three and four. Your boy got a bunch of trophies
in that. For PlayStation five. I know, brother John, he
did get a Nintendo Switch copy of the game, so
it's been cool to compare him playing. Actually, sorry, Nintendo
Switch too, got to clarify that. Now copy of the
(05:23):
game out with PS five, and just cool that the
parody is kind of there. You know, obviously PS five
is gonna look a little bit better, but like Nintendo
Switched two version of the game, it holds up and
he can skateboard while actually playing a video skateboarding video game,
which I don't advise, and do that in the confines
of a safe environment, but you can do that with
Nintendo Switch too. First thing I did unlocked Bam. He
(05:46):
is a secret skater, so he's not really he's part
of the game, but not really like part of the
levels and all that stuff. So merely did that. Michael
Lano is an unlockable skater. There's another guy, but that's
really only unlockable. So I was kind of a little disappointing,
but you get it because we're in an era of
licensing and you know Marvel being a big property and
(06:08):
obviously Star Wars two, So it wasn't along the lines of,
you know, getting Wolverine, Spider Man, Darth Maul, Jango Fette.
But who knows if we do get a Tony Hawk's
Underground one in two, whatever re release, I'm down for
a thug. Give me American Wasteland. That is the bread
and butter of your boys and brother John's video game
(06:30):
sort of franchisey that wasn't Sports games was Tony Hawk's
American Wasteland. And the main thing that John and I
shared a hard drive and we'd had different staves of
the game, and you know, you get to that age
like hey we both need separate xboxes. Who gets the
hard drive? He did, and that's okay. We started fresh,
and that's okatos Andrew Hoodie where we are where we
(06:51):
are now. But yeah, the game's will be fun. Obviously,
it is very kin't it's if you like Tony Hawk's
pro Skater one and two, you're gonna like three and four.
I personally I enjoy it two a degree, but I
can get really tired of games like that because it's
very Arcadie compared to Skateboard, is a little more free roaming,
do what you want to explore. I kind of like that,
(07:13):
just because the games we play is go explore, Go
do a side task. I'll do this stuff instead of
being rushed through a timer. But the cool thing is
three and four you can actually set the timer to
sixty minutes, so you can have an hour to achieve
all the combos and scores you want to hopefully tack
down all those lists and everything. It is a fun time.
I would say try it out for a weekend. I
(07:34):
know it is on game Pass for free right now,
so if you do have a on Xbox, try it
out for sure.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
If you like it, buy it or just keep paying.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
For game Pass as long as on game Pass because
Activision technically now which is Xbox. But overall a fun time.
On the other hand, God of War Ragnarok, we are
deep in it now and I would say we're probably
for through the game, I hope. But the main thing
(08:04):
I've really been enjoying just a side quest and just
learning more about the characters. For Freya, it was cool
to unlock, to kind of unlock Freya.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
This is mild.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Spoilers for a game that's been out for you know,
six years now, and just have her as a side
companion and doing quests through her, learn about her backstory,
and it is really weird, like playing this game, and
obviously I know I'm late to the party, but it's
my perspective of the game of playing the game and
knowing like as much as we know about thor just
through MCU, you know, you know Lady sif you know
(08:35):
Fray's mom Loki, and kind of comparing it to the
game and all that stuff, and then you put Crados
in there and it kind of MUCKs it all up,
and that's okay, but having a good time, and I
think I'm at the I am at the point now
where the game has its hooks in me, and I
think there are a lot of games like that.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Where you you gotta get through those.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
First five hours that are a little slow, but they're
world building, opening things up, and then once she hit
our five, your full steam ahead, which you have been
for thirty five don't tell more. That is a weird
thing too, is now in twenty twenty five thinking of
video game play times, but actually thinking about it because
you know, back in the day, you're like, oh, it
took me twenty eight hours to beat Pokemon nothing. Ah,
(09:13):
it's easy, perfect, And you're like, oh, that was a
whole day just playing Pokemon. You know, not mad about it.
I think More would like me to do other things,
and that's never gonna happen, you know what I'm saying. Baby,
You know what I'm saying. Besides that, that's what we've
been playing. Life wise, it is cool. We make sure
my computer is awake because that just all right, there
(09:35):
we go.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
It is cool.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Just More did have a girl's weekend with her sisters
and her mom, so it was fun. So I got
to hang out with Teddy, went to Gravelly Point Park,
which is that fun park by Reagan, DCA, which is
one of the technically three airports in the DMV because
you have that, you have Dulles, and then you have BWI,
which is Baltimore, but we're going to count in this scenario.
(09:58):
It's really cool to see if planes for over. It
is weird. It's the first time I've been there since
that ish happened earlier this year, and it was like,
ohh like that happened like right over there, you know.
But overall fun time. It's worth a fun little trip
if you're if you live in this area.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Teddy enjoyed it.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Teddy got tuckered out by came back and uh, he
was living it up. And I had met Aglasses who
probably saw that my instagram at Andrew Hoodie half the time,
time of his life. You know, dogs love yards, So
get him outside if you can, if you can, it's
not it's okay. You're in a city place. Let them
see grass at least once. That was fun. But watching wise,
we did watch some dragon Ball Super. We are currently
(10:39):
in the final arc of dragon Ball Super, the Tournament
of Power. It finally started. If you haven't gotten a
dragon Ball Super yet. The last arc with Zamasu to
this arc is about twenty episodes, and it's it's it's
it's a slog. It's it's a slog, but it builds
the characters. It does a lot of payoff of like
(11:00):
here's our final moments of Krilling facing Goku, and here's
Goku facing Gohan because spoilers, because the biggest spoiled ending
of anything Goku you know, and Jeering. It's a big fight.
We're going for ultra instinct all that good stuff. But
then once we're done, hopefully the next move on that
I think we have like twenty five episodes left or
(11:21):
something like that, which could be done by this week
is the watch dragon Ball Dima, which then will catch
me up on everything so I can play Dragon Ball
Sparking zero. So hopefully that time it'll correlate with Ragnrock
being done. On top of that, your boy, because Chilling
hang Out with Teddy watched and being watched all fifteen
hours of the Pit on HBO Max and I have
(11:43):
to say, if you love the Yard back in the day,
growing up, my family watched it religiously because you know,
my mom and dad are nurses. Are were that, you know,
they at one point were nurses and they have they
have different jobs now they're still in the medical fields.
So that was their lives and they loved it. Andy Dragon,
do not worry about a long chat. I'll get to that.
(12:04):
I'll read it when I get through the thought.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Don't worry about it.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
And Noah Wiley's great in it, and I it is
gross at sometimes if you don't like medical stuff, there's
some gross medical stuff in there, but beyond that is
very enthralling drama that I have a feeling it will
win big or win a couple of wards at the
Mies this year. Season two I'm excited for and well
worth the fifteen hour binge watch over two days because
(12:31):
it had it toking to me and I really enjoyed it.
I think it is cool that I forgot what the
actress's name is.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
The pitcast.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Taylor Dearden is obviously you know, Brian Cranston's daughter, but
Fiona Dwarf is also in it. You might recognize me.
I'm on a Dwarf Dwarf Little train, I guess because
the Chucky Show. More than I watched. We both enjoyed
that she's on there. She is Brad Dorf's daughter in
real life, the voice of Chucky Braddorf. Also in The
(13:03):
Lord of the Rings the Two Towers, which I made
Moro watch on the Dwarf train, she's in this as well.
I think she's a really good character that's not the mate.
There's like three main characters and a lot of side
characters that really fill out not the void, but the
whole medical team. It is funny because at one point
the very I think it's the very last episode, she's
(13:23):
like Oh, she has a kid and she's a divorced mom,
so she's single parenting. She's like, oh, grandpa's gonna pick
you up. Grandpa. Her dad is Brad dworfind like, hell yeah,
anytime they're in the project, it's dad and daughter right there,
let's do it. But if you are looking for a
good drama show, it's not really drama, but it's very good,
like cooking it not thrillery, but enthralling, kind of sort of,
(13:48):
but that's what I've been watching. Andy Drogan in the
chat twitched at TV slash Infante on the score Pods
said she watched the Tron trailer and she's cautiously optimistic
about it. Cinematography, owise, it looks great. The special effects
look amazing. However, he's fifty to fifty on the plot.
We might watch that one today. I know there's a
lot of trailers we kind of got to catch up on,
just because all these trailers are releasing before Fantastic four
(14:11):
First Steps comes out this week, including one Avatar trailer
which we won't see until we actually see the movie,
but kind of same vibes, so if.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
We get there, we'll get there. Don't worry.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Andy Dragon says, I want to know how the hell
the sun from the movie. In the second one, tront
Legacy is not around to stop what the Elon Musk
want to Be is doing because the whole point of
Trono Legacy is that Sam was against what the corporate
guys were doing with his dad's company. You know, Tronto
movies are really it kind of suspend logic. I who
will say that, but it is more gimme cool vibes.
(14:42):
You know, tron Legacy was give me the Daft Punk soundtrack.
This one is give me the Nine and Nails soundtrack,
which the song and the trailer was good. Still get there,
We get there, but not a movie we have full
faith in like some.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Other movies are going to talk about today.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
But if you have something you're doing or you're playing, watching,
enjoying living life, let us know in the chat. And
we love to celebrate you. Whether it's a birthday, whether
you're planning to do something fun, or you're going to
like medieval times this weekend. We want to talk about that.
Could you HiPE before becase it's fun, it's a good time,
and early planning stages is I'm trying to convince Kevin
to go to Medieval Times with me for my birthday,
(15:18):
so we will see, and then Kevin can bring both
his daughters and his wife will enjoy it as well.
And look speak of the devil grading some more. Kevin,
you're trapped in your work cubicle. Just plany for Medieval
Times in September, and the whole fam is invited, so weet,
a little section will be, the yellows will be like
the black and white squad or whatever color they give
you Medieval Times. But on top of that, it's time
(15:41):
for something fun, because it is time for the news.
No man, first, thanks, First, we have to talk about
you boys. I guess final review because I'm the last
one hasn't seen it. Review of Superman the Movie twenty
twenty five James gun and put that logo. Logo's not
(16:03):
popping up. That's okay, but you boy finally got to
see it on Friday, and I really enjoyed it. Sort
of overall sentiment, I do think it is a very
good base for the DCU, because, let's face a peacemaker.
Season one is DCU and so it's Creature Commandos. But
it really kicked off with Superman and I'll put up
(16:23):
I'm trying to find my spoiler wording here. Mild. It'll
be mild spoilers for Superman. Because it's been a week now,
most of you guys have probably seen it by now.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
I there you go, Okay, cool.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
I think it is a really good establishment of a
playground for the DCU to play in for the foreseeable future,
whether it's James Gun or it's a lot of these
other creators we've kind of heard about, you know, right now.
They did just announce they've confirmed the writer for Wonder
Woe is the same writer who wrote the super Girl
movie that's currently being filmed. So good track record vibes
(16:59):
are going there strong. Yes, time to get Teddy a cape?
One hundred percent. I am kind of shocked Pet Smart
and or whatever pet store near you did not capitalize
on Superman crypto capes like that. I looked around. They
were all knockoffs really every time I looked around, unless
(17:19):
I missed the hype. But I was instantly gonna go
buy a cape for Teddy.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
But alas, that's okay, what are you doing over there?
Speaker 1 (17:26):
What are you doing? I know we got this red
blanket that could count that could count. I was probably
my favorite character, probably Crypto. I think Guy Gardner was
a highlight, just because for me, Guy Gardner not really
the most familiar with Obviously we've had a Hawk Girl
with the animated series and technically Legends of Tomorrow for
that first season that was a little rough, and second
(17:46):
season caught it shried, and then Mister Traffic obviously we
know from the era Versu as well. But I thought
Nathan Fillion kind of killed it. I really am happy
for him. I don't you know, he's kind of been
more of a cameo actor with James Gunn since Slither.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
I think that was the last.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Movie, like big movie he was in for James Gunn.
That wasn't a cameo like kind of how the Guardians
movies were. But he killed it, and I hope this open.
Obviously he's been killing and he's been on the Rookie
for however long now and Cop Cutie and all that
stuff along with that on the internet. But I'm excited
to see that character move on into Lanterns. And I thought, like,
that's what this movie did was establish the playground here
(18:27):
some characters that you can play with. But guess what
there's more to cop and you know, more kids are
getting off recess to play and interact with on this
DCU playground.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
And you know when Guy Gardner shows.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Up and hopefully doesn't dog in the lanterns because I
think he's gonna dog because it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
How you know John Stewart gonna get a ring. We
don't need three lanterns off the riff.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
I think it'll be fun, it'll be inter see how
that character goes from this lighthearted affair to you know,
a more serious, true detective vibe inspired show. I thought
David kornsweat killed it. I thought he is a perfect
mix of.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Trying to pull.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
He's the perfect mix of oh, come on, I can't remember, sorry, uh.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Perfect mix of Christopher Reeve. There you go.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
There's a lot of info in the said trying to
process all that at Henry cavill. I think the costume
is pretty good. It didn't really like throw me out.
It was the costume I want to see Superman, the
Blue of the Red. He's got the tidy whities.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
It worked.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
You know, it's this playground we are in the DCU,
And I thought his relationship with lois played by Rachel Bosehan.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
They killed it.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
That was an intimate ass relationship that they you know,
they've been dating for three months, so it is they
can get hot and heavy, you know, it can get
kind of kind of awkward because you know, they've been
with each other for three months now, so they kind
of know the foibles and how to encourage one another.
It was wild to think. I saw on Twitter that
someone pointed out the sort of fake interview scene that
we saw in one of the trailers before the movie
(19:57):
came out. It was twelve minutes long. It didn't I
feel like twelve minutes at all. I was like, this
is like four minutes at all, twelve minutes of just
them talking back and forth, which I thought was great.
It's established Lois, you know, as a no take, no
prisoner's journalist. She's going to be a journalist through and through,
even if she's interviewing, you know, her boyfriend of three months.
(20:17):
It is funny you know that Jimmy Olsen, you know
he is a ladies man. He's the new chick magnet,
the CEO of sexy Stuff. I guess I could say
a La Kim to Ned in the MCU kind of
that was an internet thing, but you know him having
a relationship with Miss test Maker. That is the ultimate
downfall of Lex's social media, which was the downfall of
(20:38):
Superman beginning of the movie. So kind of full circle.
Nicholas Holk killed it as Lex Luthor. I think, for
me probably best Lex Luthor I've seen really the old
g Christopher Reeve movies. I remember bits and pizzas of it.
I haven't bits and pizzas, bits and pieces of it.
I haven't watched all of them fully, I think are
(21:00):
just very old movies that you know. I think the
first one, first movie came out nineteen seventy eight, so
that is literally the first of one year after Star
Wars and completely different vibes, and that the vibe we
went on was Star Wars, not Superman. Then, you know,
(21:22):
my superhero movie started with Batman ninety nine, which is
a lot of people started with, and then obviously you
know the nineties Batman, the Schumacher Batman movies. But this
really Superman twenty twenty five, being a good mix of like,
let's be fun and cute and really inspiring I think
is really cool. Nonetheless, review score, I haven't even said
(21:45):
that I gave it for sure an eight out of ten.
I think you'd argue at eight point five out of
ten for sure. And that's a good thing because I think, really,
like I said, establishment of a playground for the DCU
to play in. You don't want this movie all kind
of iron Man iromn is really good, you know. We
really hold that up and a movie wise in the time,
(22:07):
it is probably like an eat out of ten, but
we have it in such high esteem because it established
the world we're e've been used to for seventeen years
now going on. I think this is going to do
the same thing. Obviously, it depends what happens next. We
have Peacemaker and then Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow comes out
next year. I think good precedence. It'll be interesting, you know,
(22:29):
down the line and say, five years from now, how
Superman ranks when it has other properties going up against
it and it kinnt allows property to be worse than it,
then also be better. It's the litmus test for hey,
was it more enjoyable than Superman or not? Then that's
your kind of ranking wise on where you go kind
of how iron Man is for us in our MCU interview,
(22:51):
it's at like number twelve or something. It's like, well,
if it's better than Iron Man, great, but is it
better than our top ten? Which is fun? I think
what else? What else? Engineer was cool? I did think
it was you know, I didn't know anything at all
about the Engineer character. I think a lot of the
characters really like I don't know anything about this Ultraman.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
As we predicted off the jump, we were pretty right.
Spoiler spoiler spoiler boiler spoiler.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Being you know, a cloned version of Superman. But you know,
he looked like hay and Christensen for hot second with
a wig. It's funny because David Corten SAT's a big
Star Wars fan. But I do think the door was
opened for Ultraman. I hopefully think to turn into Bizarro,
because I think that kind of opens the door for
that character.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yes, Kevin right, future Bizarro.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Oh he went in a black hole. Oh no, he's
gonna look ugly now because a black hole messed up
his face or something like that. Bizarro in you know
Superman three or you know Justice League one where they
get sucked in a black hole and it turns out
it's it's bizarre world. And you know, he made a
whole world of everybody Crypto. I thought killed it. I
think they had a good amount of Crypto isn't too much.
(24:00):
They're like, I get what we're doing here, but it
wasn't ever they seen that Crypto is in was good
and led back to the plot of who Superman is,
which is he cares for everyone, no matter who they are,
what country they're part of. Even if it's a dog
he's fostering. That's a bad dog. Like the line of
the movie was like, you know Crypto is alone, and
(24:21):
you know he's a bad dog when he doesn't deserve
to be alone with something along those lines, and you're like, oh,
like this if you have a dog and see this movie,
I like has the tears, but I see with Eric,
so you.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Know I had those tears in a little bit. So
that's okay.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Even the damn and middle credit scene, which was just
kind of the promotional image we've seen for this movie
of Crypto and Superman watching Earth from the moon and
it cuts to Crypto and him hugging and I'm like,
get a cap. We're gonna get it. Okay, you're looking here.
I'm talking good about you. You look at your balls, sir,
come on, just like Crypto. I think mister Terrific killed it.
(24:59):
I think he was probably a number two, like the
one of the like preferred sidekicks of this movie and
really killed it in his role. Metamorpho was good. I
think we could have done a little bit more of Metamorpho. Yeah,
I don't need your help him. God damn missed the
God damn missed the Terrific. I think that character works
(25:20):
because we had an established kind of small history of
that character already in the arrow Verse, and I'm trying
to think, what else, what else?
Speaker 3 (25:27):
What else?
Speaker 1 (25:29):
You know, it wasn't really Oh yeah, the pop I
had in my theater was for John Cena popping up
as Peacemaker for Lily like five seconds.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
But it's cool.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
James Gunna said some characters from Superman will pop up
in Peacemaker season two. I believe it's gonna be Otis
and the guy with the wig and glasses kind of
looked like.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
The villain from Miss Nicle. Me, what the hell is
it next?
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Vector Vector? Yeah, it kind of looked like Vector and
a little bit of the the bomb guy from Atlantis.
Those are my two cultural claim the fames there. I
think They're gonna pop up in peace Maker season two,
which is cool. That's why they had a couple of
lines here, and it made sense for them. You know.
Also cool thing, guys, I if you are a fan
(26:17):
of watching hotel movies, like I am the President of Barravia,
Bravia Borrovia. Uh was actually the in twenty twelve, the movie,
you know, the Apocalypse movie. He was the Russian like
gangster guy who had his two sons and his like
mail order bride that they got separated from the main group,
(26:37):
and then he ultimately dies at the end of but
the kids live, and you're like, man, I look at
this guy. It's thirteen years later. Didn't work like that.
Good for him, Good for It's because of his accent.
It sounds Russian, it sounds over there where Brovia could exist.
But overall, I really enjoyed this movie. I think if
you haven't seen it, definitely check it out. I think
it is a good first step for the DCU at large,
(26:58):
and you know our next obviously super popping up the end.
UH Crypto being Superman's foster dog Boom makes sense and
it is gonna be I think Supergirl, Women of Tomorrow
is the actual comic line graphic novel line. Watched that
before you see it, because it's gonna be heavily inspired
by that. Where you know Supergirl isn't you know car
Danvers from the CW Verus played by Melissa Binoy, it is.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
You know, she is raucous.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
She is kind of rebelling to a degree, and it'll
be really cool to see that in this world because
it makes sense one hundred percent. Also, Bradley Cooper, Uh,
it was okay. I know a lot of people were
but heard about that, But as Joel, I thought, that's okay. Mom,
Paw can't We're okay if you if you have grandparents
or if you have older parents, Ma can't talk on speakerphone, Like, oh,
(27:47):
paus here too. You know, we don't know how to
work spakerphone. We're going, yeah, you have flu phone.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Uh be good.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Clark was good. We didn't get a lot of Clark
clan either, which I think it's okay. You're watching super
goanna see Superman. I think obviously he is Clark Kent,
but this this movie did identify more of he is
Clark Kent versus he is Karel. So ifully we don't
have the line, Wonderman, Lady going down line Kallel, no
(28:14):
throwing references. You know, it's fun overall. Check it out.
Andy Drogon did say, I love all the means. What
would happen if Supergirl arrived earlier? Who would have known?
You know, I think that's the interesting thing. If she
showed up and picked her dog up, which she have
recklessly beat people up, because she's at least based on
the one scene we've gotten with her. In the sort
of poster we got James Gutten released it is it
(28:37):
said like the poster for her movie is gonna be
in soe look up. It's lookout, so like Treuble's coming
your way with Supergirl, and we just see how that
plays out.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
With Crypto.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
The rumor right now is there might be some Crypto shorts,
not the currency, but the dog somewhere down the line,
probably in front of a Warner Brothers movie or something
like that that gets kind of tee up, you know,
kind of like the group shorts. They'll tee up just
Supergirl a little bit to an degree, but over all
a fun time and you definitely need to check it out.
(29:06):
Let's flip sides though, Let's go from that to the
marble side of things, because let's face it, it's marbles
are bread and butter here on the podcast and solo.
But surely DCU is getting there. Yes, now, as drewp said,
a drunk Supergirl showing up would.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Have been hilarious.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
That would have been funny. It's like, oh, I have help,
and instead of the Justice Gang, it is, uh, you know,
it's just drunk Supergirl beating up Barrovia and everything. Also,
I think the Justice Gang thing was cool. Getting the
Hall of Justice obbably established and literally a small cameo
of having a portrait of the Justice Society being in
(29:43):
the background the Hall of Justice was really cool. And
we'll see where we go. I know, right now we
have a lot of ideas on the board, but the
immediate future is you know, Superman, you got Peacemaker, you
got Supergirl and Lanterns. So and it kind of looks
like for next year at least so far, we're gonna
get show a movie show movie once a year, which
(30:03):
is which is good. I think it's a good pace.
But let's flip on over to Marvel. So Fantastic four
comes out, you know in four days from now, or
maybe you're seeing it early and it's totally okay. So
we know there is an end credit scene and it's
supposed to be right now under two hours, so prepare
yourself accordingly. Obviously, go to the bathroom because it is
coming out this week.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Kevin fig is doing a lot of.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
Interviews, uh, just because that's normal press, and it's interesting watching,
you know, Evan Moss, Backrock and Joe Quinn do sort
of that Marvel tour, big big movie budget tour, uh
really before and you can kind of look they're burned out,
or Petro Bascal and Vanessa Kirby, who is pregnant by
the way, or just like on another one.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
But I think they're kind of used to it already.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
But Kevin Figg in interviews kind of has said two
big things that we need to talk about on the podcast.
The first thing being that Sony has apparently we told
Marvel to stay away from a live action Miles Morales
spider Man for the foreseeable feature. That makes sense obviously,
spider Man beyond the Spider Verse being our next Spider Man, no,
(31:11):
not on our next Spider Man movie, by the next
entry in the Spider Verse, at least our next Spider.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Man Movie's brand New Day.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
We found out that's getting pushed like three weeks to
the end of June twenty twenty seven, which still ways off.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
But we're getting there.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
We'll get the finale of that damn movie hopefully. Please.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
It makes sense.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
You know, Sony is gonna say, oh, you can do
whatever you want with the character when we're trying to
flesh out our story, and Miles Morale stuff sells like
hotcakes no matter where you go. Spider Verse in general too,
So why would they want to share in that headspace
of the one character that they got right? Sony got
right of Spider Man characters, everything else not so much.
(31:49):
That's okay, you know, you got Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin
and Miles Morales is kind of the big two things
that got right for Sony. Spider Man universe venoms okay,
Top Money's venoms okay. But so the interesting thing is,
you know, will we get Miles somewhere down the line.
I want to count your chickens. I know a lot
(32:12):
of people have thought that Rio Morales might show up
just because what is the actress's name, Eliza Cologne's eyes
are supposed to pop up a brand new day could
be their way of backdoor and it in, Hey, we
can't have Miles, but we can have real morales, and
then eventually, when Spider Verse is over, we can put
in Miles, and then Tom Alla could take a break
(32:34):
or be an older Peter Parker instead of looking like
a joyful Peter Parker in his twenties. But overall, wait
on that. But something you won't have to wait on
is the X Men because we found out Kevin Fakey
said that the X Men will be young. X Men
ain't gonna be no oldies, so all your fan castings
think younger. We're still trying to figure out castings and everything.
(32:57):
I assume probably once you get through Doomsday will announce
some X Men casting. But Kevin Figgy did say that
the X Men will be recast and it looks like
the MCU will be a little reset after the MCU's
Secret Wars, meaning the door is opened down the line
for Robert Downey Jr. And Chris Evans to be replaced
(33:17):
as Cap and Ironman, which I don't really have a
problem with. I know a lot of people saw that
headline and were like, oh, dare they recast those two
any character really, and you got to think, you know,
before the MCU, we had four different Batman's I think
at one point, I mean, technically, we did have two
Spider Man's within by the time the MCU officially started,
(33:42):
So it's not a new thing per se. But I
think obviously I think they Kevin Figgy meant, you know,
down the line, if we want to do Iron Man
again and it's not part of the MCU or whatever
they want to do, they can't do that. And I
think that's perfectly fine, and we'll watch those stories again
and it'll be us. You know, Kevin has a grandpa
(34:03):
taking Leah's kids to go see iron Man twenty fifty
five or whatever the hell it's gonna be calling it.
It's gonna be wild. You thought forty X is the time,
whoa wait till twenty fifty five. But yeah, that's kind
of the Marvel side of the news. Any last minute
predictions wise, I know for Fantastic four, you know, we
(34:24):
talked about last week John Malkovich being cut. I know
natash Leone is still a rumored character. I don't think
she's gonna be Birdie.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
I think she's.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Gonna be more of a side scientist character or something
like that. That might leave the door open to be
a Birdie in some foreign form, but I don't think so,
Paul walter Hauser, it's kind of been confirmed to be
Mouleman or whatever the hell, whatever the hell he's supposed
to be. We can pull up the cast, right, Moullman,
There you go. We know matthew Wood is the voice
(34:56):
of Herbie who. Matthew Wood has voiced all the Droids
in Star Wars the Battle Droids. Sorry confirm that, so
probably assume similar sounds. And the cool thing is at Disneyland, specifically,
you'll be able to see the Fantastic Four as a
meet and greet. And the coolest thing about this is
it's not an Avengers campus. It's actually at Tomorrowland, which
(35:16):
kudos the Disney for not having every Marvel character needs
to be an Avengers campus. Fantastic Four in tomorrow Land
makes one hundred complete, one hundred percent sense, and I
hope who ever gets to see them enjoy that. Also,
they should be at disney World because tomorrow Land is
in Disney, so fantastic for you.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
They don't have.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
A ride, but they are decoration in Superhero Island at
Islands of Adventures at Universal Studios. We know Ralph and
this is gonna voice collect is Julia Gardner is gonna
be Silver Surfer, Solid Balls, the version of that.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
But beyond that.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Sarah Saren Niles, Oh, Sarah Niles is apparently in the
movie too. Sarah Niles obviously from Ted Lassos. She's the therapist,
she was an F one two, she was the mom
of the younger driver. I think this movie, I think
has to do the same thing Superman does of just
being eight out of ten, you know, really like, hey,
(36:13):
we had a good time, and you know, we know
this movie is really going to be. They think they
can talk ish, but when galact just shows up, they
can't and they have to do as much as they
can to just evacuate and escape the movie.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
At the very end into.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
Avengers Doomsday, I don't think we will get a Doom cameo.
Just because a Robert Downey Junior popping up this early
is cool, but also I think you saved that for
Doomsday as the first pop I mean him officially in
whatever costume it may be, is gonna probably break the
Internet just as much as him and announced as Doctor
(36:48):
Doom did.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
So I think it is probably them.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
End credit scene is them showing up like they saw
that in the Thunderbolts into our Earth six one six,
whatever hell you want to call the movie universe of
Marvel nowadays and interacting with probably the Thunderbolts or certain
characters like that.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
Maybe it is a cap.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
Maybe, you know, I wouldn't mind miss Marvel put you know,
get more Kamala kan in there.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Man Valan is kind of killing it, so give her
more shine too.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
But then, yeah, that'll be the last big thing until
Spider Man. Obviously we have aies with Conda coming out
in wonder Man, which are kind of smaller projects, but
then The Doomsday will be coming out December twenty twenty six.
So exciting times. Exciting times, but also the thing that
is exciting. Invincible has been renewed for season five, which
(37:36):
is great. We love that even though season four hasn't
even come out. So if you're catching up on your
Invincible rewatches or trying to read the comics, now's the
time to do so. I think Invincible just needs to
catch up a little bit because the Boys is ending
and they kind of started around the same time, same year,
and obviously animation takes longer, but it is. What is
another quick hitter. Ted Lasso season four officially in production.
(38:00):
It looks like they're filming in Kansas. According to sources
at Variety, it looks like Jason Sidekas does have sort
of a three year, a three season plan for the
future of Ted Lasso as the main cast, the main
like six of them have signed on for three seasons,
so I will the final season be a movie?
Speaker 2 (38:20):
Who knows?
Speaker 1 (38:20):
But I would assume they go to Kansas see Ted
isn't really doing too well and bring them I'm assume
they bring them back to London at the end of
the season or whatever that's coming up, but probably expect
that if it's filming now, probably like September of twenty
twenty six would would make sense, or maybe like Spring.
I don't know how live action shows like that work
(38:40):
when it's really just sports and cgi of the stadium,
which is fun, but beyond that, let's get in some
reaction theater because we have to break down. Also, sorry,
I forgot to play the sounds. The buttons are in
front of me, they're over here, and when I'm looking
at you guys, I don't pay attention. But let's get
on over to React Action Theater because we have to
(39:01):
break down the trailer for Mortal Kombat too, So let's
switch on over to that, getting ready for that as well.
So Mortal Kombat too. We've we got trailer. I believe
it was last Thursday. As soon as the podcast got posted,
it it aired and that's totally kay luck of this podcast.
(39:23):
But we got a red band trailer.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Mostly it was a violence, let's face it.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
But the main thing we know, Carl Urban is going
to be Johnny Cage in this movie. Most I think
all of the casts from the Mortal Kombat first movie
in twenty twenty one is back as their respective characters,
including including Cole Young is coming back.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
So take that as you will, because it was okay,
interesting thing if.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
You remember Mortal Kombat one peak of the pandemic, so
it was a wild time Cole Young was introduced. It's
kind of like the Grand Center, the descendant of scorpions.
So that was the whole thing going on, and uh,
it really was, you know, everyone hasn't. I think it
was an arcana or something like that that cane O
(40:11):
Cano got his laser eye and oh, you know, I
think I don't remember what everyone else was. This is
not giving me any hold on real quick. That is
not the cast. I want one cast.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
There we go.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
It was it was Luke King, which is who is
Ludy Lynn? You know he got his little spiral hat
could title port with the hat. Molino was there as well.
We had a cable I forgot completely forgot about that
raiding with. There a lot of other stuff there too,
Sonya blade. This one's so far more combat to cast.
(40:52):
We also know Adeline Rudolph will be popping on a Skitana,
Martin Ford will be playing shou Con at least the
body of him and then and that's kind of uh
c J. Bloomfield by Baraka. That's kind of all we
know right now. Josh Lawson plays Kane out. He is
the surgeon from what hell is it?
Speaker 4 (41:13):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (41:14):
A lot of a lot of inf in my head,
Saint Dennis. Uh So it is funny to see him
in an action role versus like a comedy role like that,
and I hope he stays alive.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Come on, let's watch trailer three two one and.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
It is played right upbout now there we.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
Go you're Johnny Cage. I love Citizen Cage.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
I was a kid, nice man. I appreciate it. They
should do in a reboot. Oh, Johnny Cage. Nobody wants
that Johnny Cage. You have been Tell me you're not
some crazy fans. How are you doing that?
Speaker 4 (41:59):
I mean, I'm or what.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
Right?
Speaker 4 (42:08):
My combat? It's a fighting tournament to the death show.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
God finish him? Yeah, you got finished.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
He's a war for the fate of you.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Okay, go ya.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
Kado ja champion. I don't have transformed or shoot, this's
got nothing to do with me.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
I think I'm an actor.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
Braka, I find you annoying. Not the face.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
Yeah, that's a skin.
Speaker 1 (43:07):
It's time to become the hero you were meant to be.
All right, you gotly fuck it's short. Yeah h.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Mm hmmm, oh NOOPSI bot.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
All right, he said the thing.
Speaker 4 (43:38):
That's right, Kevin, are hiding me on every Browns just incredible?
Speaker 1 (43:49):
Yes, oh yeah, now give me another good h another
uh cool remix that we had for the last movie.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
That'll be great. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
The last movie was okay. It did come out of
the time. It was rough and we kind of all
gave it a pass, like Hey, it came out.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
That's great.
Speaker 1 (44:07):
It was like one of the first movies on streaming
that was in theaters at the same time. This one.
You know, it looks like they are sticking to the tournament,
which works. I think anytime they go away from the
tournaments when they can get a little wonky in the
video game franchise as well too, So this I think
if they stick to that, we're golden.
Speaker 2 (44:25):
You know, are we gonna get come, Are we gonna.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
Get Goro popping up? Who knows? You know? Oh no,
Gorel popp up in the last one. Actually that's correct.
But I do think this is fun. You know, Hiroki
Sonata popping up, you know, after he won a butt
ton of awards for Showgun. It's just a testament of Hey,
w B signed the right contract at the right time.
I got in, you know, w B got investing more
(44:51):
and taught to Gabriel from the Last of Us and
she's gonna be Intergalactics and she was in the Charted movie.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
That was another one.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
I think mccod brooks Jackson is great. Kwan Chi is
supposed to pop up, which is cool, and then Sindel
is popping up too. I think, really, this movie's just
gotta nail the action and the visuals and we'll kind
of give the story a pass and it'll be interesting
just to see, Like Mortal Kombat one came out, I
think it was like last year and it kind of
(45:20):
like went hush hushed into the night. So let me
just see how this reintegrates that. Because we love Taiwan
this podcast, how there's the correlation of a movie or
show coming out and then that obviously boosting up video
game sales.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
Last of us, i' llah.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
You know Spider Man. The Spider Man movies come out,
you need to get the DLC that as a costume,
and you're playing that more this week in see whether
it's Mortal Kombat one or there's a movie dal.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
See if that boosts that up.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
But that's not the only trailer we got this past
week or so, because today as of this podcast recording.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Yeah, it's a scary image.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
I just popped up and you're watching the video version
of the podcast, we got a trailer trailer technically the
first real trailer that's all trailers work for Predator bad Lands,
and we talked about this in the beginning of the podcast.
All these trailers are coming out because Fantastic Four in
Superman are out in theaters and that's where most eyeballs
are going to be this summer for trailer, so it
makes sense for these movie properties to get the trailers
(46:17):
out while they can. Fantastic Four. We know we'll have
the trailer for Avatar, Fire and Nash, So wherever you
see it, be prepared. Probably seeing an imax that's probably
the best way to see that trailer, a kin to
you know, seeing the Odyssey trailer for Christopher Nolan, you
know earlier this month. Predator bad Lands, on the hand,
(46:37):
twentieth Century Studios owned by Disney, so it'll probably pop up.
He'll probably be there for you, probably PG version because
let's face it, everybody's going to see Fantastic Four this week.
But Predator bad Lands we've kind of seen trailers before.
We know that it's kind of gonna be a little bit,
I don't know, not really a sequel, but goes hand
(46:59):
in hand with the other Predator movie that came out
earlier this year.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
Oh gosh, where did it go?
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Predator animated movie, which.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
Was Predator Kill of Killers.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Let's kind of go hand in hand that that movie
came out and kind of said a little bit of
precedence for this movie, mainly that the predators have to
you know, get a kill to be impressed and then
officially become a predator.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
And stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
We know that el Fanning is going to be an
android whalan Utani android, which we see the logo a
lot in the Australia just in the first image, alonans
behind her.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
And we know.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
Dake is going to be a young predator outcast for
being a runt the rent of his litter, and that's
tell you, okay, fun fact.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
We think Teddy is a runt.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
Of his letter because we saw his brother thanks to
an antress streed thing for dogs, and Teddy's a lot
smaller dog. But that dog, now that's cool.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
Looking at Teddy, I'll say that.
Speaker 1 (47:59):
I'll say that, but let's watch a tair then we'll
talk about.
Speaker 2 (48:02):
Three two one A bad hands. Don't like that. It's
like a cue tip in your no thing.
Speaker 4 (48:22):
So this is your first hunt and you've come to
the most dangerous planet in the universe.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
What could it be?
Speaker 2 (48:49):
It's so funny.
Speaker 1 (48:55):
You're after a creature. It can't be killed. The definitive
Apex Predator, I could help you. Good luck with your journey.
(49:20):
I can't wait to see the behind the scenes. Old
Fanny not having legs. You're the prey that m first
hunt last Jeez, he's got a gun.
Speaker 2 (49:43):
They're not cheating for predators.
Speaker 1 (49:45):
I do not competitor bad dance.
Speaker 4 (49:53):
We might not be alone in this hunts.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Is it Ripley?
Speaker 2 (49:59):
No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Yeah, I thought that trailer was pretty dope. I thought
it was a lot cooler of a look than the
first trailer. I think now we've I think the first
trailer came out before Predator Kitler Killers, if I remember. So,
now we've had that movie just kind of establish, you know,
we are opening that, we're actually opening the world of Predator,
of just like learning more about the actual alien species. No,
(50:22):
they're not called predators, even though that's what we're gonna
call them. They're called some alien species. But it's like
the Asino Morse or Xeno mors, even though they're the
alien movie. But this could be I'm gonna tease it.
I have a feeling twentieth century Disney, Fox, whatever you
want to call it nowadays, I have a feeling they
really want to capitalize on the Alien and Predator franchise,
(50:45):
And I said that that way because I think they
really want to tackle again Alien versus Predator, whether that
is an actual Alien versus Predator movie happening, maybe they
call it three who knows, or the actual Xenomorph popping
up in the movie, or the Predator the Predator popping
up in that movie. Because you know, we've had Prey,
(51:05):
we had Alien Romulus, We've had Predator, Killer of Killers
in this movie, and we're about to get Alien Earth.
I do have a feeling like we're in a good
renaissance of those franchises that they kind.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
Of were in the Pooper for a little bit.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
So it is nice that these franchises can kind of
breathe again and just have a footing. You know. In
this one scene, El Fanning's Android character is opening up
one of those walls we saw in like Predator two,
of all the skeletons, and you're like, oh, was that
supposed to be the alien from Independence Day? Which has
been a rumor of the whole time too. So I
think we're gonna get one step closer to that. We're
(51:39):
gonna learn a lot more of the lore in how
things work in the Predator universe. Kind of that was
hinted in Predators, Yes, Predators and then kind of picked
up and pray and then Predator Killer of Killers, and
then we're still kind of I think Alien Romless is
supposed to be getting a sequel, hasn't really gotten a
(52:01):
lot of info about that, just because I think Alien
Earth is kind of worth they're going right.
Speaker 2 (52:05):
Now and then they'll do another movie.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
But overall really dope. And we got a look at
movies coming out this year, the little Fun these like
the fun movies. This is coming out in November, More
Combat in October. Uh, kind of leading us down the path.
I think big movie wise got these two, and then
we have Avatar obviously, we have Zutopia two, you gats
(52:28):
and then The Running manned Now you See Me three,
don't forget about that and Wicked for Good, which is
gonna be hoodies big movie. Because I'm excited. I'm gonna
invite the whole family that Screeny just youewwait, movie, Eric,
just you wait. We'll be there. I can wait.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
Thank God, the movie here.
Speaker 1 (52:48):
But we're gonna switch on over back to the normal
view of the podcast.
Speaker 2 (52:51):
There we go, because we can kill that.
Speaker 1 (52:53):
But that does it for today's podcast. You know we went.
We won fifty three minutes of actual cast times. Hopefully
you got to enjoy it. But kind of a little
bit of a programming schedule update for the next week
or so. Both Kevin and I have big meetians on Thursday,
so we will not have an episode this Thursday, but
(53:16):
we will be back Sunday night to record Monday's episode
talking all about Fantastic four. So we this is a
very a kis meant opportunity because we both are seeing
it together.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
Can't say why and can't say how.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
But we will have the opportunity to save our thoughts,
have a weekend, maybe de pentially see it again, and
then go kind of more spoilery than we are normally
because you guys, the people well actually gotten to see
it and had time to see it.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
If not, that's okay. We'll still do the non spoiler
part of the.
Speaker 1 (53:46):
Podcast in spoiler field as well. So Thursday there will
not be an episode of the podcast.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
We got work. Sorry, it is what it is, but
you know we're here.
Speaker 1 (53:55):
But Monday's episode will be super dupe packed. I would
assume Fantastic four we'll be along the lines of a
review like Black Panther, Wakanda forever where it is at
least probably an hour and a half. So plan accordingly.
If you've got a lot of commutes next week, get ready,
we got you covered. But yeah, besides that, then we'll
be going back to normal programming. It's a summer, and
(54:18):
work is work. It does what it wants, and we
just kind of operate with what we can do and
it's all good.
Speaker 2 (54:24):
But in the meantime, do us a favor.
Speaker 1 (54:27):

you know, hopefully because we aren't off on Thursday, I
can work on a little of the motes, so Anti
Drogon and anyone else's suscribes, or you can get those
cool emotes, which is you know, Kevin going like oh
and some of the other ones I've had stored up
for a little bit that you might have seen on
some thumbnails that we have no other use for.
Speaker 2 (55:06):
So it might work. It might work.
