gonna be very superhero heavy today. A lot of things
happen today superhero wise. There's been different I guess I

wanna say screenings with special screenings. There's been special footage released.
So there's a lot going on today, and it'll be
fun to kind of pick through it and go go
through it as we bring it up. As far as
what you've been doing, this is when we go through
the part of pocket and tell you what's going on
our lives, what's going on with our watching lives, our

video game playing lives, or just live lives. Well, call
it what you're doing. Uh, Since last episode, I have
not played a game since last episodes.

Not that I haven't had time to play. It's been busy,
but not busy busy. It's kind of been way.

It's been that kind of busy where once I sit
down and have a minute to breathe, I don't want
to do anything on the sofa and exists, if that
makes sense. So I haven't been catching up with my
Batman play through, haven't downloaded anything new. I am on
the on the I fors for some new games coming
pretty soon. I know Death Stranding has been released this

week and so far i've seen its gotten pretty good reviews.
So that's awesome to see that that's franchise is holding up.

I've never played it. That game is completely and one
hundred percent over my head. But one day, maybe one day,
I'll play it, because I don't know. Just this is
it's a weird game on the surface level. Other than that,
far as watching goes, I have watched three episodes of
iron Heart, so we'll get into that later in the episode.
I haven't watched The Bear yet. I've seen kind of

mixed reviews on it, but we'll see what happens. I
feel like that's one of those shows that existed in
the vacuum, and those actors have gone on the bigger,
better things, and the guys don't have time to devote
for probably the time they had to devote to the
characters they did in the first season.

I haven't watched that yet, trying to think what else
stuff I've been watching anything else. I've been trying to
do some comic book research lately on a lot of things,
because I think I ran across the comic book that
Ironheart is based on. Pretty good story in the comic book.
I don't know how it will be, how we'll play
out in the show until next week.

First we're going to talk about Superman. Superman released some
foot another scene earlier today between Superman and Lex Luthor.
But we're going to watch that together and I'll play
it also for you on the podcast listener and to
see how it went. I haven't watched it yet. So
funny to watch a live with you guys. We also

have some of course Ironheart w to release today. Release
on Tuesday. That's kind of upset. I thought it was
coming out Tuesday proper and not the thing they do
Tuesday at nine pm Easter and.

I was like, shoot to watch it, like I hope
for work earlier that day. But it's all good.

So we get into that, and we also got the
final trailer for Fantastic four as well, and this is
the uh, the go home trailer, if you will, This
is the trailer you're supposed to spur you to buy
your ticket to be a bunch of tickets yet I
haven't bought mine yet. But I'm not a ticket buyer
before like the week of because this is me. I
don't know, maybe because I have I have kids and
it's harder to play around who's going to watch the kids,

so it's easier to buy them the.

Day before, or you know, two days before than you.

Know, a month and a half before or whatever like that.
But if we set that final trailer, we'll watch it
together as well. I haven't seen that a couple of times.
Watch that together as well, and I'll give you my
thoughts on that. But first Superman Superman apparently along with
oleasing a scene today that we will watch in the second,
it has also had a test screaming text screening. I

believe in Brazil. I think it's Brazil. James Gunn flew
a number of winsers, some movie people, some YouTube and
film people down to Brazil, not James Gunna himself, but
the DC Film Studio and review the movie. When they
saw the movie. I know some of the people that
I've recognized that were there a channel I thought we'll

call the real rejects.

They were there. I'll just say Soups was there.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Soup is not one of my favorite TikTok comp of people,
but it is what it is. He was there, and
they reviewed the movie, and they view the movie, and
now they can't give any You really can't give any
reactions yet, not even not even social reactions. But some
things have been leaking out through other sources. Some movie
reviewers in the LA some of their friends were one

of ones people to see it, and they've said it's
pretty good. They said it's definitely a one eighty, the
opposite of the Zach Snyder verse. So it's definitely different
from that, they said. So another thing that if you've
seen it, I don't know if you've seen it, I've
seen it, but it's Superman two like on steroids from
what some people say, so that has a much lighter tone.

There's some people that are saying that is it too
early two screen and some people are saying that they
should have they should have brought down actual film reviewers
more than the complic influence in the series. It's nothing
either here nor there. I don't know what to think
about that. I do know though, that being someone who
has attended a Hollywood movie premiere, it does kind of

paint your opinion of the movie in a good way,
because I mean I would. In fact, you didn't know.
I actually was at the premiere of BBS in twenty sixteen,
I think there was twenty sixteen Batman Vision Superman in
New York. Attended the premiere premier premiere of that and
it was an awesome experience. I met the entire cast

and crew, you know. I mean, I met Harry Camvill,
I met Ben Affleck, I met Zack Snyder, Galcadote, all
the way down to I've even met Frank Miller, a
combook writer. Writer had a cool conversation with Zach Snyder
about just comic books and what he's doing.

A hit in the universe.

At the time, we thought it was gonna be a
full left universe, and unfortunately, you know, things happened after that.

And I know that movie isn't Actually what does that

I can't remember it has I know that movie isn't
A overwhelming thumbs up from a lot of people but
being somebody who attended the screening, my.

My opinion was tainted a little bit.

I will say, like I was like, so right now, oh,
I didn't know what's that Well, it has a twenty
eight percent of right to me, I didn't know what
was twenty I thought it was like in the forties
and fifty that's wild, that's wild twenty eight Now again,
like I just said, maybe attending that premiere paints my opinion,
but there's no way in the word the movie is
twenty eight percent.

It's not that terrible. I don't think it's not that terrible.

I wils go on record and say that I didn't
think the extended the extended distion and is a little
bit better then the live action, but needs to say,
like I said, I wouldn't take much that our take much.
That's trickling out about the quality of Superman from this
early screening for people to face value because I'm not

saying that there they are. They're being paid for a
good for a good review or a good reaction. But
at the same time, if a movie, I mean, for example,
me and Hoodie were flown out, Wine and Dine put
up in the Hotel gave an uber cart for WW
twenty nineteen.

It was a twenty nineteen twenty nineteen. That game is terrible.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
It's terrible, it's a glitchy, it doesn't handle as well
as new there's one that have come out in the
past few years.

But since we were flown out there and.

Put up, we weren't going to trashic game because it
was like, that's that's that's the impolite. We won't give
it a raven review. No, we give a ten out
of ten. To get to it's okay game five out
of ten.

We weren't drunks about it like some people were, you
know what I mean? And that could that could have
that could be to have the same effect too when
you when you're when you're flown out to see or
invited to see these not just screenings. Screens are different
cause screens are put on by by by advertising agencies.
But when you're invited by the actual people that made
the thing, it's a little different. It can be a
little different. So that being said, anything you've see in

here about Superman, the quality of the movie or the
past the next couple of days, just take it with
a grain of salt, because we'll be in a theater
sooner than later and the week at the next actually,
uh to see that and we'll all get our opinion
opinions or hope's validated then. So I'm gonna switch over

near or after the third act fight, because, like we
watched the last trailer before, it looks like like's trying
to overwhelm him with a bunch of steff uh to
see that no Superman can be everywhere.

I want to say, everybody the type of thing.

And if you remember when we watched that last trailer together,
I said, I'm not a big fan of Nick Holt's
portrayal of Lex Luthor. This trailer kind of silicifies that
for me. David Cornswet looks great. Davi Coonset looks like
he looks like if Christopher Reeve and Tom Walling had
a baby. He looks just like Superman. It looks like

Clark he's given that big Superman vibe. It kind of
reminds me, like I said before, the Superman from d
C A Man Universe. It was very gentle and a
very hopeful Superman. But if you mess with his family
and friends, you get a whole different guy. That's what
this feels like. Even when he pulls back and says,
you know, he's just a dog, because he knows at
that moment he can just tap his index finger through

Luke Luthor's head and that it. But he's not gonna
do that because he's Superman. But on the other side
of that, I just don't.

I don't. I don't. I don't like Nicholas Holts, like Luthor.

Maybe once he's full movie, I'll get a different opinion
of him. I wasn't a big than Nicholas hold his

his interpretation of beasts as well.

I don't know if I'm not. If maybe that's what

People different have different actors that you know they like me,
don't like maybe this is the one guy I'm just like,

of this. This Alex Luthor that he's it seems like

So Lex Luthor on the DC Animated Universe projected a
presence of authority and he owned the room, so to speak,
and the one of the reason why hit Superman because
Superman is around proved somebody's better than Lex Luthor. This
guy just seems like a hater and I don't know
if I can if I can deal with that. But
that's because IVE seen the thirty second clip. This is

a thirty second clip along with the other probably twenty
seconds of the I've seen it so far in with
other trailers. But that's how I feel right now in
this moment. Hopefully when I see the rest of the movie,
it won't take me out of the g I wanted
to dislike Lex Luthor because Nichol holds playing a bad character,

kind of like Fanos. I don't like Fantos, not because
of he's a bad guy like I just like Thanos
because of the way he was to portrayed.

I could see him as a bad guy.

I just don't like this character, this actor's portrayal of
this character that sometimes can take me out of the movie.

a two hour nine movie, something like that. Two hours
can convince me to go anut of the way. So
I'm hoping that when when we get when we get

all the trails, I'm like, Okay, this is Superman.

He is Superman, and this is what we're going to
ride up with for the next hopefully it's been has
it been twenty years more yet or or however around
twenty years. For the next fifteen to twenty years, this
is gonna be our super Superman. So let's go back

be very jarring sometimes very very jarring. So yeah, So

an international trailer floating around not much new stuffs, a
couple of new things with Crypto and that's kind of cute.

But other than that, I don't think I need to
play that again. Uh but yeah, Superman is right around
the corner. You'll start seeing reactions and awesome. Honestly, I
don't think it's not seeing shoes leaks, So be careful,
be very very careful. What therever gon be people posting
on Reddit, post on Twitter plot threads. I mean, I
know they stay sign those nda and all that kind

of stuff. But if somebody tells somebody that tells somebody
to tell somebody that you can lose that really quick
and people start posting stuff. So we'll see what happens
if anything else leaks out. I'm going forward hopefully not.
I hope everybody can go to see this movie uninhibited
by any spoilers. So with that down, Fantastic Four also
play the trailer game today. They released their mean yesterday.

They released their second trailer yesterday. When it comes to
this and Superman this month, it's gonna be a fun month. Also,
also Drastic Park. Draassic Park will be interesting. I'm actually
interested to see. I think I know where the critic
review is going to be with Drastic Park, but I'm

I'm excited for a Fantastic four. I've never been a

big Fantastic Four guy. Besides what I've seen. When they
showed up in Spider Man, and they showed up on
The X Man a couple of times, stuff like that.
There was this ridiculous cartoon. I think it's from their
early eighties, but it was like rebroadcasting when I was
a kid in the nineties. Ridiculus, ridiculous, ridiculous theme. You
get a chance, just look up Fantastic four theme and

I think it's probably been the most details we've seen

the second one, silver surface was kind of like a block.

It wasn't much definition in the face. Still have been
seeing the full, i want to say, fully realized Galactus.

at Earth and people can see him, whereas this is

How they explain all this, because it also looks like
in this world the Fantastic Four don't lose, like they
pretty much won and it kept this world safe and

they don't win, and that's why they're come into our
Earth on six sixteen. I mean that would be would

be uh, we'll see, but it looks like though they've
never faced anything like Galactus the same way our Avengers
and never face anything like Santos basically.

See how they weave and make this world feel feel
lived in, because this is not gonna be the Fantastic
Four his first mission. It's gonna be like probably like

Also interesting to see how they actually weave in the
story of their backstory. It's gonna be are you gonna
use this show as kind of like them doing that?

them seeing the ship and they're going fantastic for I
thought that was really cool. Now the people are saying
they're not gonna be them in the ship, I feel like,
I mean, come on, we'll see.

Kamaki himself said it may not be in them in
the ship, so we'll see what happens when this comes
out at the end of the month. I believe it's
the end of the month and the end of next month.

be another fun time in the theaters after the Superman
the Rescue Park and F one and someone just came

the second one, third one on Wednesday night. Some so
I'll say, after watching all all three episodes, this show

I think everybody was dreading kind of like more of
a here we go again, another Marvel show. You know
what I mean, what's the last Star Wars show? I
want to get the name of the neat Star Wars show. Uh,

this is Star Wars televienton series. I'm doing this a
very long way, not that one live action series Acolyte.
I believe everybody thought it's gonna be another Acolyte where
we were excited for it and we just autumn ultimately
let down watching it.

I don't feel that with this. Now, this show isn't perfect.

There are some things that are I would say clunky,
but other than that, the narrative they're showing is pretty good.

to fund her iron Iron I guess iron heartsuit, I

Uh, there's some some continuity, cool cool cool continuity here.
The dean of m I T. I think it will
be sold in Iron Man No Civil War. The guy
from Community. He's in this first episode because he's still
a dean there, but he's also part of the part
of the decision to actually expel her from m I T.

Unfortunately. So the show is.

Basically her trying to find money to build her Iron Man,
her Iron Heard armor, and that's where we start. She
goes back to Chicago. Unfortunately, watch she's flying back to Chicago.
The AI she used to power up the help her
with her suit gets locked out because she's out of college.
She was getting her email anymore, been there not for college,
but been in there for not for another another thing.

So the first episode is of her building her her
own AI, and she uses the brain mapping process and
basically creates her best friend as her AI, which is Natalie.
It's got what the what it stands for. But it's
really cool to see a best friend AI and not
like a a A Jarvis style AI, which Jarvis was

made to be AI until he burst out and became vision.
But you've seeing her best friend as a AI and
her interacting over as a friend out AI. It's pretty fun.
And also it's some really cool, down home stuff about Chicago.
I've never watched I've never been to Chicago, but I've
watched the Chicago shows, the Chicago p D shows and

hoping all watch those. I watched The Hilarious South Side
and that was on HBO Max for a little while,
so I'm noticing things about Chicago that I noticed another show.
It's pretty cool to see it's kind of held up
here in this show. And then when she goes to
meet the I guess the Heights crew so to speak,
Andrew Raymonds as the Hood.

Rest of the Heights crew is they're they're not as
I want to say, memorable as the man High Screw
was t I David Stou's maunching and.

just fun to be around as that as as that

But at the same time, the kind of reminding of
the Rebel Crew from the first episode of Andor, Like

I think I have a spoiler thing actually in this

spoiler when you get good confirmation that uh, Joe mcgilla
cutty and this show actually is Ezekiel Stains Obadias Stein's son,
all right, spoiler is down, Maybe not spoil a bunch

of other stuff. The interaction between her and obadi Is
Stain is really good. It's kind of like a friend
you didn't know you need, you needed to have type
of thing. But some things go down to the third episode. Uh,
there's a heights in the third episode and it goes,
it goes awry and one of the things that she
got from Ezekiel Stain he made uh realby promise that

we'll be tracked back traced back to her, but unfortunately
she dropped it and the police picked it up and
not gonna traced back to him. So there's gonna be
some tension falling out of that. That'll be fun to watch.
But yeah, all in all, iron Hart is a pretty
good watch. Like I said, it's not perfect.

The best top three Marble shows, I'll say the top
of my head right now are probably Wanda vision, of course,
acting all along Miss Marvel, and then around up top

Going to be better than one vision better act along,
but it could fight if it ends.

show's flow got ruined and the last the last part

this ends, this could actually be a pretty a pretty
good show and a pretty good way to re reintroduce,

saying that she shouldn't be struggling to rebuild her costume
because she knows Shuri and mcan all that kind of stuff.
But I my head cut of saying the reason why
she can't ask for help right now because her end

is on a hiatus because she met her nephew Prince

definitely worth coming your time. Also, it's not a heavy show.

video game playing lives, or just live lives. Well, call

not played a game since last episodes.

Not that I haven't had time to play. It's been busy,

It's been that kind of busy where once I sit
down and have a minute to breathe, I don't want
to do anything on the sofa and exists, if that

Batman play through, haven't downloaded anything new. I am on
the on the I fors for some new games coming
pretty soon. I know Death Stranding has been released this

week and so far i've seen its gotten pretty good reviews.
So that's awesome to see that that's franchise is holding up.

I've never played it. That game is completely and one
hundred percent over my head. But one day, maybe one day,
I'll play it, because I don't know. Just this is
it's a weird game on the surface level. Other than that,
far as watching goes, I have watched three episodes of
iron Heart, so we'll get into that later in the episode.
I haven't watched The Bear yet. I've seen kind of

mixed reviews on it, but we'll see what happens. I
feel like that's one of those shows that existed in
the vacuum, and those actors have gone on the bigger,
better things, and the guys don't have time to devote
for probably the time they had to devote to the
characters they did in the first season.

I haven't watched that yet, trying to think what else
stuff I've been watching anything else. I've been trying to
do some comic book research lately on a lot of things,
because I think I ran across the comic book that

So we get into that, and we also got the
final trailer for Fantastic four as well, and this is
the uh, the go home trailer, if you will, This
is the trailer you're supposed to spur you to buy
your ticket to be a bunch of tickets yet I
haven't bought mine yet. But I'm not a ticket buyer
before like the week of because this is me. I
don't know, maybe because I have I have kids and
it's harder to play around who's going to watch the kids,

so it's easier to buy them the.

Day before, or you know, two days before than you.

Know, a month and a half before or whatever like that.
But if we set that final trailer, we'll watch it
together as well. I haven't seen that a couple of times.

thoughts on that. But first Superman Superman apparently along with
oleasing a scene today that we will watch in the second,
it has also had a test screaming text screening. I

believe in Brazil. I think it's Brazil. James Gunn flew
a number of winsers, some movie people, some YouTube and
film people down to Brazil, not James Gunna himself, but
the DC Film Studio and review the movie. When they
saw the movie. I know some of the people that
I've recognized that were there a channel I thought we'll

call the real rejects.

They were there. I'll just say Soups was there.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Soup is not one of my favorite TikTok comp of people,
but it is what it is. He was there, and
they reviewed the movie, and they view the movie, and
now they can't give any You really can't give any
reactions yet, not even not even social reactions. But some
things have been leaking out through other sources. Some movie
reviewers in the LA some of their friends were one

of ones people to see it, and they've said it's
pretty good. They said it's definitely a one eighty, the
opposite of the Zach Snyder verse. So it's definitely different
from that, they said. So another thing that if you've
seen it, I don't know if you've seen it, I've
seen it, but it's Superman two like on steroids from
what some people say, so that has a much lighter tone.

There's some people that are saying that is it too
early two screen and some people are saying that they
should have they should have brought down actual film reviewers
more than the complic influence in the series. It's nothing
either here nor there. I don't know what to think
about that. I do know though, that being someone who
has attended a Hollywood movie premiere, it does kind of

paint your opinion of the movie in a good way,
because I mean I would. In fact, you didn't know.
I actually was at the premiere of BBS in twenty sixteen,
I think there was twenty sixteen Batman Vision Superman in
New York. Attended the premiere premier premiere of that and
it was an awesome experience. I met the entire cast

and crew, you know. I mean, I met Harry Camvill,
I met Ben Affleck, I met Zack Snyder, Galcadote, all
the way down to I've even met Frank Miller, a
combook writer. Writer had a cool conversation with Zach Snyder
about just comic books and what he's doing.

A hit in the universe.

At the time, we thought it was gonna be a
full left universe, and unfortunately, you know, things happened after that.

And I know that movie isn't Actually what does that

I can't remember it has I know that movie isn't
A overwhelming thumbs up from a lot of people but
being somebody who attended the screening, my.

My opinion was tainted a little bit.

I will say, like I was like, so right now, oh,
I didn't know what's that Well, it has a twenty
eight percent of right to me, I didn't know what
was twenty I thought it was like in the forties
and fifty that's wild, that's wild twenty eight Now again,
like I just said, maybe attending that premiere paints my opinion,
but there's no way in the word the movie is
twenty eight percent.

It's not that terrible. I don't think it's not that terrible.

I wils go on record and say that I didn't
think the extended the extended distion and is a little
bit better then the live action, but needs to say,
like I said, I wouldn't take much that our take much.
That's trickling out about the quality of Superman from this
early screening for people to face value because I'm not

saying that there they are. They're being paid for a
good for a good review or a good reaction. But
at the same time, if a movie, I mean, for example,
me and Hoodie were flown out, Wine and Dine put
up in the Hotel gave an uber cart for WW
twenty nineteen.

It was a twenty nineteen twenty nineteen. That game is terrible.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
It's terrible, it's a glitchy, it doesn't handle as well
as new there's one that have come out in the
past few years.

But since we were flown out there and.

Put up, we weren't going to trashic game because it
was like, that's that's that's the impolite. We won't give
it a raven review. No, we give a ten out
of ten. To get to it's okay game five out
of ten.

We weren't drunks about it like some people were, you
know what I mean? And that could that could have
that could be to have the same effect too when
you when you're when you're flown out to see or
invited to see these not just screenings. Screens are different
cause screens are put on by by by advertising agencies.
But when you're invited by the actual people that made
the thing, it's a little different. It can be a
little different. So that being said, anything you've see in

here about Superman, the quality of the movie or the
past the next couple of days, just take it with
a grain of salt, because we'll be in a theater
sooner than later and the week at the next actually,
uh to see that and we'll all get our opinion

a baby. He looks just like Superman. It looks like

Clark he's given that big Superman vibe. It kind of
reminds me, like I said before, the Superman from d
C A Man Universe. It was very gentle and a
very hopeful Superman. But if you mess with his family
and friends, you get a whole different guy. That's what
this feels like. Even when he pulls back and says,
you know, he's just a dog, because he knows at
that moment he can just tap his index finger through

Luke Luthor's head and that it. But he's not gonna
do that because he's Superman. But on the other side
of that, I just don't.

Basically her trying to find money to build her Iron Man,

with her suit gets locked out because she's out of college.
She was getting her email anymore, been there not for college,
but been in there for not for another another thing.

So the first episode is of her building her her
own AI, and she uses the brain mapping process and
basically creates her best friend as her AI, which is Natalie.
It's got what the what it stands for. But it's
really cool to see a best friend AI and not
like a a A Jarvis style AI, which Jarvis was

made to be AI until he burst out and became vision.
But you've seeing her best friend as a AI and
her interacting over as a friend out AI. It's pretty fun.
And also it's some really cool, down home stuff about Chicago.
I've never watched I've never been to Chicago, but I've
watched the Chicago shows, the Chicago p D shows and

hoping all watch those. I watched The Hilarious South Side
and that was on HBO Max for a little while,
so I'm noticing things about Chicago that I noticed another show.
It's pretty cool to see it's kind of held up
here in this show. And then when she goes to
meet the I guess the Heights crew so to speak,
Andrew Raymonds as the Hood.

got from Ezekiel Stain he made uh realby promise that

we'll be tracked back traced back to her, but unfortunately
she dropped it and the police picked it up and
not gonna traced back to him. So there's gonna be
some tension falling out of that. That'll be fun to watch.
But yeah, all in all, iron Hart is a pretty

I think it's actually a pretty good watch and I
