Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerdy news you need to know
throughout the week on iHeart Brady went badcast services around
the world because my name's Hoodie, got it, And you're
officially listening to this Alien Field episode of what Kevin
Crisis on Infinite Bob.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
He's not gonse memory. I actually remember when I was
a kid, there was like an alien line of toys
and every aliens. I don't know why it's aliens.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
And it's like, oh wait, no, it's xenomorph's. But we're
still calling them alien. It's okay, cool, there at.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Least alien to our planet.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yeah, that's the whole thing too.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
We're also learning like the predators aren't predators, they're like
the whole species thing. Now, sure you know Nintendo, Mike,
you you probably know what it is.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
A baby, you tell us what it is. We got you.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
But we got a jamp back show for you today.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
We are obviously talking about Alien Earth, doing sort of
a mini review on the first two episodes. I'm telling
you if it's worth watching or not, or if you
should wait till more episodes come out. We're gonna talk
about some of the Superman news. James Gunn kind of
revealed on the slide of the Red Carpet of Peacemaker.
Plus how does Deadpool fit into Avengers Doomsday? Now we
know Ryan Reynolds is filming or doing something with it

(01:26):
or teasing it.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
He's doing things with the Avengers, which sounds very innocuous,
but Ryan Reynolds is kind of how you say that.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
It does, it does, it does, And I want to
say here, first, we stumped Nintendo Mike. He does not
know the species name of the predators, so yes, yes,
yes he will Predator Badlands. That's what you'll find out
later this year.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
But you can see we're gonna talk about today so
much more at Infinite Underscore bides on the Instagram Odi
x gonna give it to you or Kevin? Where can
I interact with us live in the chat.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
We're recording this podcast like Nintendo Mike or maybe on
their own time later on when they want to watch
the episode.

Speaker 2 (02:04):

also subscribe to our podcast.

Speaker 1 (02:12):

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Its costs nothing, nothing extra do youhould say it costs
your Amazon Prime, your dollars christ but nothing to you
extra off the top. So it's kind of our special
way to saying thank you, thank us. It's not really cool.
But if you can't do that, you understand. YouTube dot
com slash Infunscore pods are on demand home for you
where you can just click on our name if underscore
pods and see all the episodes and like, wow, these
guys talk about.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
A lot of things at a lot of things. Uh.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
And we did find out Kevin, you were pretty correct
with the predator species. It's yacha something like that.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Why it had like a t r D in there somewhere.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, it's you know, it's not a real it's not
a real thing. So it is. It is predators and.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
We don't call him hundred. He's terminating.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah, that's what it is. Plus also reminder on the
Twitch Prime you're probably watching the summer I turn.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Pretty on Prime Video. It's on Prime Video, right, I think, yeah,
I think it is. Yeah, yes, you or your significant
other or both for you guys, both of y'alls is
watching it.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
It's live.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
You know, he got episodes up to my birthday. You
have to have Prime, Baby to watch that. And because
you have Prime Video, you also got Twitch Prime, so
you can help us out with that.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
It's no worry. It's the same thing. It's all bundled
the same thing.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Free perk make us feel pretty.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
But in summer I turned subscription subscribers. That's where we're going, baby.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
But we always start the podcast properly with something we
like to call what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
We're talking about the shows and movies. We've been watching, games,
we've been playing, lives.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
We've been living.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Because it is Thursday, yep, boy, it gets to go first.
And I been to say, I'm halfway through Dragon Ball
Diama right now, but.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You a crew through these record episodes.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I'm cruising through.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I do not.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I will say Hulu does not do a good job
of going to the next dubbed episode. It'll skip me
to the sub episode and I'm like, no, no, no, no,
no no no, I need to hear these voices.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
You know who's playback is weird because they also have
an issue with like, let's say you were watching Always Sonny,
but you haven't watched it like a month or two,
and you go back to watch it again and you
wanted to keep playing. Sometimes instead of playing the next
episode from the beginning, it just goes to the end
where you.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Left off, especially if you're sharing account. That's the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
But it's pretty good. It definitely is if you've been
trepidacious on it. It is more akin to the og
dragon Ball series than z of just like adventure and
you know we're gonna beat this boss of the week,
you know, to move on to our big adventure at
the end of the show. But I did get to
the point where Vegeta has a big old moment. I
don't want to spoil it for you, even though it's
been out for six or eight months now.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
But it's pretty glorious, pretty glorious.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
But yeah, besides that, obviously alien or if we're gonna
talk about that in a little bit. I did actually
this week properly our bored uh, and I organized my
Pokemon binder.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
This has been a story on the on the show
that your boy really got back into Pokemon because one
fifty one and I found out I'm missing cards, so
we are on the hunt. You know, I didn't realize
if you want a complete set, you have to have
the normal version of the card, so like there's the
ghastly you can't see there's a ghastly, but you also

(05:23):
need the reverse hollow of that card where the card
has a little pattern on it, so your boys on
the hunt for that. Luckily, those cards are cheap, so
Mara did give me free rein to say you can
go to the card shop and complete those if they're
under a dollar.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
It's funny how we're adults have to escar can go
get some stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Okay, if I go to the card store on the
way work tomorrow from the way from.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
School the other day. And this is only benefit of
our our twitch on YouTube watches, I was like a
corbook store said yes, oh yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
But yeah, so that's what I'm probably gonna be doing
this weekend. I am gonna be up by your way tomorrow, Kevin,
because I'm gonna go see Katie Perry.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
It's the FG Bank Arena.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Oh only been there. I want to raw there like
a year ago. I'm not a big fan of the
arena personally, It's just it seems like it's still kind
of cramped.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
It's just me though, uh and Intend.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
I'm like, yes, I will not be including ultrasounds in
my cards. But I do know you you mean, I
do have everything minus just the reverse hollow of this set.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
All the you know, there's no showing them back. You know,
those are the prize possessions of the bag. There's those
amptos and the Jursard so uh yeah, well you got
if you Here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
If someone came in here to rob us, the smartest
thing would be going to this round because these are.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
All the I mean More's jewelry and all that and
sentimental stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
You would see the TV, PlayStation, Xbox, but like the
real Volley little stuff it's in here.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
It's the child is stuff.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Yeah, it'd be funny because I'm a love of Megan.
Don't actually with more than my TV. So like, yeah,
you got a TV.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Good, it's ten years old, don't worry, but I don't
care about it anymore. And then I went to the
Jonas Brothers which was which was really dope. The morning
show got to go and host like Jonas Khan, which
is this like pre show event.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
It was at Jiffy lou Live.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
It was pretty dope. We got to give away a
lot of stuff. I feel like concert should do this.
Moving forward is having like pre show hype areas. Instead
of just having people wander aimlessly around. It had people
just hyped up for the show, which was really dope.
All American rejects were there, which was cool because I
got to hear the bionical song. And my brother did
find his old bionicle and they're going to the the

(07:43):
Hershey Park show this weekend and they are going to
Hershey Park also, so I told him to text you,
and so he's going to try to get all American
rejects to either look at or science bionicle.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
That like remember might work. At n MCQ, we used
to have like the all day fest. Basically the show
didn't start to like six, but you could get there
and there there's no there's people walking around, there's atists
walking around, there's just meet and greets, there's tents and
all the other kinds of stuff. There's more like a
party all day and then like the show's out to six.
Hype of the atmosphere, and I kind of liked that,

(08:18):
even even though I've kind of followed a country music
not work there that much anymore. They like that atmosphere
of let's instead of like you know, like, for example,
Katy Perry, you're going to go to the show tomorrow
at seven, but and then go sit there watch and
Jeordian's show with me. But would be kind of cool
if you get there, like you said, five or six,
kind of have like a Katy Perry con to the show.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
I'm excited too because apparently Rebecca Black is opening up
and that's a Friday, so I get to cross a
bucket list item there, so we will go for that
and then leave and then come back.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
That'd be awesome. That's why mission right there. I want
to hear Friday on Friday, and Katy Perry is there,
so it's gonna be cool.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
And then just to answer intending back before we go
to you, Kevin from one fifty one, I do.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I pretty much have everything.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
I have a complete set, just not the master set, which,
like I said, the reverse hollows of just the basic cards.
It's like some of these are like ten cents on
TCG player. And then Fuzzy Smoothy, Hey, welcome to party.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Thank you for listening to the podcasts for years, but
finally you joined the Twitch version.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
You get to see our beautiful faces. You can see
the thing, just chilling here on the microphone we're decorating.
I can see Kevin's little Captain America steal behind him,
and a couple of his megasords behind him as well,
and his black panther helmet.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
And you know, you know what, Kevin, show them what's
behind your chair?

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Because that's what a lot of people don't really see,
is what's behind Kevin's chair directly is that I'll narrate.
He has an arcade one up cabinet of Moral Kombat
Kevin's hat. We've had that for like four years now
and Kevin has it, has it there, you know, just
having a good time whenever he wants to play some
more combat get away from the fan.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
I'm really bad at it because I am I am
sucky without a controller in my hand. I am not
at keyboard or a fight stick. But it's it's very
equal novelty. And for a while I was in my
living room, it was a great conversation trying to move me.
I guess over like is that a machine? Like? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (10:09):
And now it's only a conversation started if people come
to Kevin's dungeon.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
So that's a the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, I had to move it because once the once
the new girl, the new girl.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
A new girl, that new person.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
It kind of sits on a pedestal. My dad worries
kicked in and like, I don't wan her to pull
it on top of them, but say and also she's
almost too now he's just destructive. I don't want to.
I didn't. We didn't pay for that, and I'm not
paying for another one.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
But Kevin, that's on me. What have you been doing, good, sir?
What I've been doing for the last couple of days.
I've been watching still watching line of King of the Hill.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Now are you you're rewatching it right?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (10:49):
To catch up to the new to the new season
yees season?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, because I watched the first three and I was like,
I'm gonna stop here because I want I want to
relearn these characters. But I kind of knew him, but
I want to learn more about them. And now we're
watching the I thought of the season five or six,
White White right as HD became the standard out of
s looks terrible.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah, I've seen some tiktoks like this is all.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
So I'm following that up. Still. I have a blast
watching and they're they're just real, really funny trying to
dive deep into Madden because I wasn't sure about it.
But the more and more I play it now I'm like, Okay,
maybe this actually is a good time. It's definitely a
lot more AI involved in the game, like the if

(11:35):
you're playing because say the computer, if you're playing AI,
it will kind of know what your intentions take that
play away. So whereas old Man you can run the
same play ten times in a rows touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Nobody til Mary, Hail Mary, Hail Mary.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
That was more like, Okay, I'm gonna run this plane information.
Let me go ahead in this formation. I'm going the information.
I'm gonna go back to that firstmation once they think
they once they think I got them in the lulls, gotcha.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Now, Kevin with Madden, just because I haven't played to
Madden in a little bit, does it update the teams
as the season goes at any point or is still
not doing It's not at that point with the sports games.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yet, they have roster updates pretty regularly because I mean,
right now, it might be a player that is a
rookie maybe rated at like I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Fifty something like that.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
But then it ends up being like the best rookie
in the league by the season comings hold, we actually
have a legit rating. They also update trades and cuts,
like there are a lot of people are on teams right
now that are not going to be on teams once
season starts, once cuts happen. So yeah, updates happened. I
want to say at least every not every week, every
other week. Okay, that's good, good, no, no, yeah, but having
fun with that counting down. Still need to get in

(12:53):
the red the redemption. It might have some time to
do that tomorrow because my family is leaving me. They're
going to New York tomorrow morning.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Kevin said, time to set up my horse, let's go.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Yeah. I would have to because to think about it.
And maybe you can too, actually because I know.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
I beat it. Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
It's cool to be alone again for like three hours.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
It's like, shoot, I might talk to like, I am,
are you you're in the snow level still?

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Or do you get past the snow level? I forget,
I'm I'm telling a snow level. Okay, that's the one.
You're like, we're gonna just riding snow, baby, See what happens?

Speaker 2 (13:32):
I need that kind of the kind of keep me
company because man, you gotta get used his domestic labs
like Man, My Family.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
And Reddead's a good podcast game. Like if you want
to play that and you're just riding the horse and
you just wanna listen to us or any other podcasts, uh,
you can, and like you.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Have a soundtrack, as you know, there's no sound I
mean obviously the.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Music in that game is good, but like, you know,
modernize it a little bit and you're good to go.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah, so I'll probably get in that this weekend. I
didn't watch Alien Earth, and I was surprised.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
We'll talk about that in a little bit. No spoilers
or that.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Is, yeah, and I'm trying to think of anything else
I watched. I don't. I did find out what it's
kind of made me said, you know, I'm kind of
a borderline nostalgia gamer at this point. I like playing
old games. Infamous, it's one of my favorite game from
PlayStations is delisted and I can't do it anymore, and
I'm kind of sad about it.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
So it happens.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
It's buy physical sometimes because sometimes those games go by
bye and can't play anywhere.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I think I have it physical, but I don't have
a PS three to put it in point maybe.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Then you know what Kevin good good influence.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
For a future topic. When things are low, games you
can't play anymore, Yeah, because like PT is obviously like
the main one, because it's like you had to have
the demo on your I think PS four at the time,
and then you couldn't download ever again. And then some
of these games unless you buy the physical version, sometimes
the physical version doesn't even work anymore.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
So yeah, it.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Makes me sad too, because like it wouldn't be that
hard to make the PS five or in the Xbox
the Xbox one X backwards compatible with a disc. Most
of time it's just an emulator anyway, and and then
it just acts like it is a whatever system it is,
and I just feel like it's like a I I

(15:15):
hate to call out game development, it's just lazy because
a PS five is five hundred dollars and extra twenty bucks.
I would totally pay for bucks. I can play PS
one game, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Yeah, it's not it's not that hard that you go
to it's premium and an extra premium.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
You're like, I can't, I can't can't do both of them.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Like I would love to break Out I said about
my old PS one games. I would love Breakout Jet
Moto Baby.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
If you want, I got some PS one games. You
want to borrow them? You got smack Down, I got
Oh that's true. Okay, well that too.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Well. I have a PS two, but I'm not sure
it was PS.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Depends what model of the PS two can play for
one games.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. I have the flat one still, I
don't know to put that up that still works.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Hey, I need five hundred connectors to get working on
modern TV.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
But I'll figure it out.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
And the other thing too, and only the other thing
I can say. The plane was not stallage of games.
It sucks. It's like you're so used to things like
auto save wireless.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Come you got save every time every five seconds? You
better be saving in that game.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
I don't want to be only six feet aways my team.
I want to be all way in the back of
my room.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
I want to go get a drink, damn it, and
so play God Taken.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
It sucks, but yeah, I think, and I'm thinking about maybe,
but I'm a PIASTE two now and now to think
about it. I still have need for speed most wanted,
and need for speed underground like physical in.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
My house, most wanted to that's talk about a game
that needs to be playable.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
In twenty twenty five, the o G most wanted.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Yeah, so I think sixty still works and I still
I still routinely played. I was playing actually the first
Crackdown last week.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Well that's on game Pass. Most wanted isn't on nothing? Okay,
you can really live that on game Pass.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
That's true, that's true. But yeah, that just missed me.
My old I'm getting old now? Must the cards getting said?
Like I was a kid already?

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Well? Is that if Kevin for you?

Speaker 2 (17:04):
That's all? That's all means.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Well, let's get on into it because it is time
for the news.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
First things first, Well, we're gonna make it feel real
old because we're gonna go right on over to Reaction
theater because talked about this last week and Kevin.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
You can mute it. You don't have to actually play
the onio. That's fine. Uh.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
We talked about how it was earlier this week. There
used to be a VHS tape, two tapes that taught
you how to play Pokemon's a trading card game. From
back in the nineties. Well, your boy found it and.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Currently, guess what, you can now enjoy it as much
as we can enjoy it with us.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
It's funny. The best thing about this if he found
this video on YouTube. It is titled, uh, what is it?
Becoming a Master? I believe this when you play it,
and if you're a little I want to say, if
you're not, if you're older than twenty four, when did
you play? You can hear that like with that hiss
sound of tapes. It's like writing the video. It's just amazing.

(18:06):
Took me back for a secent.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Oh yeah, so I put this on Instagram, so we
didn't see the Instagram And but this is the actual
poster for this game. I know my light's all in
the link, but it is Becoming a Master. The Ultimate
Pokemon Experience The unauthorized documentary two tape set Tape one
Insider's Guide to Pokemon Tournaments, Tape two The Ultimate Pokemon

(18:31):
Trading and Training Sets Strategy.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Okay, here we are with the two tapes, he says,
two tapes.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Kevin, are you playing the audio? You haven't muted right now? Okay,
let's you know, let's let's dabble. Let's just listen to
some of this audio.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
And he is, from what I understand, an advanced player.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
What's your name, Miko?

Speaker 1 (18:52):
And is that true? You're an advanced player?

Speaker 2 (18:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
I just kind of start, Kevin, you skipped to two
forty five. You'll see what I'm here. It is a
fun time here because.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Forty five probably three minutes now the tournament. There you go,
that's good.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Do you watch the videos?

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Got comics something I have?

Speaker 2 (19:19):
I think I have most of the videos.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
I don't have.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Somebody I got paper on the videos?

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Oh yeah, yeah, there's like, hey, we're gonna give it.
You know we talked about on Monday's episode. We didn't
if you didn't hear it, definitely checking the back half
where we went through the most expensive Pokemon cards of
all time, this is definitely, hey, we're gonna give you
one of these promo cards if you do this interview
for us.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
And the kid threw it away or something, the cat
but they.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Got tosted it like his tips are freshly frosted. He
spent money.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Yeah, so, Kevin, we're gonna skip.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Let's go to the twenty minute mark.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Most card games see.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
We're seeing people actually play the game now. And here's
the thing.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
This guy in the back home in the back back
right corner, he was the guy who taught you in
tape two how to actually play the game.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
He teached you no, yeah, I mean representation. Even back then.
It's a back thorough playing.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
I said this Pokemon baby, because everybody's game, all right,
So I'm gonna mute it, uh while it's.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Doing fun stuff. We're gonna keep it going for the
next three minutes or so.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
But yeah, cool thing of back in the day, they
had Pokemon instructional videos that just would be this, that's it.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
And it's funny too. When you think about all the
card games that came over from either Japan or just exists,
I feel like Pokemon was the most welcoming because to
this day I was I'm still like angry that I
was shutting from the Magic Magic group in my high school,
like no, you can't play magic, teach me. I'm willing
to keep me out, Like what's going on?

Speaker 3 (20:52):
And the cool thing is obviously good timing for us
because the Pokemon World Championships are happening this weekend in
Anaheim in California.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
Uh, so one check out Pokemon center dot com. They
probably got.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Stuff, but from what I've seen on TikTok that it's
been sold out in the first thirty minutes, so the
stores will be in open.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
We should fly for press. We're gonna fill out cover.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Hey guys, we need to go to an m hy Pokemon.
What are you covering? Oh? I just want to buy
some stuff, that's really.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
I want to cover this great sport that I've been
a part of since I was ten.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
You know what, ESPN, You know we got ww on
ESPN now and now in the UFC is on Paramount.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Put the Pokemon Training Card game in there. ESPN now,
give some spec.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Baseball. What's the difference? Yeah, involved our youth, extra curricat stuff.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
I mean, all right, Kevin, well we go back to
normal view. We're done. Look at this VHS.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
I'm just having it on the background for my enjoyment nostalgia.
This needs to be one of those vhs is that
my brother and I would put on the background, fall
asleep to just and just ingest the statistics and strategies
they're telling you.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Like I had the VA chests of the making up
Donkey Kong Country, Nintendo, say, I watched it all the time,
even after I had the game.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Yeah, watch Nintendo.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Mike brought up there used there there us news to
be there still is because exists.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Pokemon did also have a TCG game Boy game where
it literally was like it's a hybrid of you got
to go to gym's, but you're doing the like mechanics
of the cards. So whatever the card in real life said,
that was your moves for that Pokemon, but it would
also be the art so be like, oh yeah, if
you want, if you have that card in real life.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
I think there might have been a scan mechanic.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Then you could get it in the game too.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Oa to this day, because I have a cards in
this house I grew up. I still find the energy
counters the Lord Little Stone in random places, but oh shoot,
it's not one.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Oh yeah, what do you know?

Speaker 2 (22:46):
This is really cool?

Speaker 1 (22:47):
How much it is worth a penny? Damn it?

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (22:51):
But Kevin, let's get into the real stuff. We've talked
about the past. Well, let's talk about the future, because yes,
exactly future. We had to talk about Alien Earth, which
my god slaps it slaps baby.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Yeah, I forgot to add the logo. So unfortunate, I
don't have to accident to show you the cool little
logo for it. Right now, I've got to add it.
But yeah, as you guys have. If you listen this
podcast for more than I will say a year, you
know I have an extreme aversion to the genomorphs. I
find him creepy. I have nothing to do with him
because I don't want to exist in my negative brain
space when I sleep and I dream about things. I
don't like him. But watching this show, Uh, the part

(23:34):
I enjoyed about it the most was like, Oh, it's
just like pure deep science fiction about the what happened
hot Alien? I feel like, what was the movie, Uh,
dang it, the one that was boring Prometheus? This is
what Prometheus should have been. Here's this white ball dude.
I'm not saying, why doesn't raise like a white ball

(23:55):
dude threw himself into a river and then till I
got life, Like, I don't understand that.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Well, he was Jesus Kevin that if you don't realize,
look look at the director's commentary.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
He's Jesus.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Oh I never understood that.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah, it's the whole thing, really, Scott yeah, not the
best it was. It's cool, cool to watch, but the
story makes sense.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
One of the only movies I ever fall sleep on
in the theater.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
That's okay. So Alien Oor first two episodes are out now.
We're not gonna talk super deep spoilers on it.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Don't worry, it's gonna be a mini review, but I
do think you should watch it if you've seen any
Alien movie, because we kind of are in the Alien Predator,
Alien versus Predator renaissance now, especially in twenty twenty five,
because Predator we got bad Lands, we had the Killer
of Killers that came out two months ago. Alien Roalnless
last year was really good, and then obviously this is

(24:46):
out now, so they're packing all the punches now.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Yeah, and even like in the in the in the
Predator New Predator movie trailer, there's some willing Utani as well,
so we're kind of margin the right way hopefully. And also,
if you want to hear our review, I guess not
even review our our commentary on Predators that exists somewhere keeping.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
The handles of this podcast. Here's the fun thing. If
you ever wanted to look at an episode of one
of our reviews, and see if we were out the
mark or anything you can and I know an Apple,
I think most podcasts services an Apple. You can say
search for Alien versus Predator and to put my library
and if we're in there, it'll pop up that episode exactly.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
But yeah, I really enjoyed this. The only I was
a little confused about the beginning because a group of
characters you met in the beginning that are waking up
from the cryo staces they have on the ship. And
then you meet another group of characters, like I want
to say later in the first act that are I
guess their hybrids or hybrids, and they kind of have
the same I guess stats or demographics. I thought, oh

(25:56):
they were that, and they grew up to be that.
Oh no, other different people. Yes. Uh.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
And the cool thing is this This show starts off
like it tells you the main premise of what the
cyborg versus android versus a hybrid in this universe, which
is always good because they're kind of synonymous and used confusingly.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
But it opens up like.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
The first Alien movie, which is really dope, like them
making up for their pods they're eating. In this group
of people, Kevin's talking about the scientists. We can say
they're eating a meal and it's literally like oh yeah,
Like this looks like the similar vibes of the first
Alien movie. The show does take place two years before
that happened, so it makes sense and it really is Alien,

(26:36):
but it's got a lot more like corporate kind of
espionage by some like corporate feuding in there, which is
pretty cool just to see that like five corporations owned
the world and so it kind of ties into that
Blade Runner conspiracy theory too, that that's connected to alien
versus predator.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
And yeah, I just really dug it.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
I did like that the second group of characters were
introduced to They are called the Lost Boys, and you're like.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Ah, makes sense because the canaide because the robots.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Uh nemic from and Or season one. Who wrote the manifesto.
He is another main character in this and it's cool
to get see him get his shine, yeah, which is cool.
And timoy Fieldfont's killing it so far as an Android
that's kind of leading the Lost Boys, which is cool.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
You know, it's funny. I feel like if it's an
FX series is drama, Like why wasn't he where is he?

Speaker 1 (27:26):
And Mando don't worry, He'll be there. He eye his
hair again.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Yeah, I do think it's a good thriller, good mysteries,
and you know, it's still alien, So there's a lot
of gore and grotesque and some scary.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Like the best thing.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
This this show did is, hey, there's ano morph isn't
the only threat on the ship and so episode Kevin
only watched the first episode.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Second episodes where they will show you the other ones.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
You're like, okay, I kind of I kind of got
that because the hybrid that I guess is arm was
on the ship in the first deck when he sees
open the door shut so its friend couldn't get.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Said, well, he's a cyborg.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
But we're learning, we're learning that's the mystery, like what's
going on with him because he's acting like an android.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Yeah, and then also when he when he when he
at the ENDFISO one, we tied up those two search
rescue guys like, yeah, I don't want your search or
your rescue. I'm trying you up and I'm leaving you
your old devices.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
But yeah, I say, definitely check in the first two episodes. Uh,
the first one's I thinking like an hour ten second
one is like fifty minutes so two hour movie, which
is good. Then it's weekly after this.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Yeah, I'm a sucker for aesthetics, and this hits the
rare aesthetic for sure.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
It doesn't even like the setting of this futuristic world
because this is twenty one something.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
One twenty I think is what it was or something.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Yeah, but it still has that feel of like that dingy,
cyberpunky type of teacher where it is the future, but
it still feels really like dirty.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
And yeah, but they're referencing you know, Ice Age and
Peter Pan. You're like, all right, Disney synergy there, baby,
I guess did it'd be crazy.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
It's twenty one hundred, but people are still playing Disney
vacations and making Disney Food Block.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Video Tomorrowlan still looks set in the same thing from
nineteen sixty, like all right, it's the past yesterday Land
is what was gonna be cold.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
It also reminded me a little bit of h and
I guess it's because it was inspiration. Shoot, what was
that show on Netflix? Sci fi show on Netflix.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
With the al third carbon?

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Auto Carbon? Like I didn't realize auto carbon borrowed like
the uh, the hybrid I guess mechanic for their show.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Yeah, I mean I think for the Alien franchise such,
the android human thing is kind of in more of
a tertiary story for most of the movies, and they've
definitely leaned on it more, especially like if you watched Romulus,
that was a big part of it of one of
the main characters becoming like he was a broken android,
but then he became super sentient and for most of

(29:51):
the movie and this and then obviously with Predator bad Lands,
we're learning that, you know, el Fannings characters is an android,
but she's gonna be split in half.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
But she survives or something. So cool stuff, cool stuff.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Yeah, Michael Rapaport's character in Prometheus was an android, I
believe because the point we got the captain but he
was still kind of talking.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Yes, correct, correct, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
But this is great. So I'm looking forward to im
actually gonna watch it with Alicia wants. We're done with Quarter.
I think you like it a lot.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Yeah, just probably don't have the kids, but.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
You know, he won't care. Leah is surprisingly like nothing
really gets her unless it's actually in her bed. So
she could see a bug on TV whatever, bug in
her bed, she freaks out, so it needs to be real.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Face hug I think at one point I almost gave
you a face hugger. So so the prop.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
But it's okay.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
But yeah, overall, check it out. First episodes I think
are really good. If you need a new show that
gets you, like prime for spooky season, watch this over
Wednesday because Wednesday ain't hitting.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
Her.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Wednesday's is the last time.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Yeah, man, it's okay, but something that might be good
better than the last time, you know, she watched it.
The Demon Slayer movie, well, when it comes to the
US and gets the dub version, Channing Tatum is gonna
be part of that cast.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
Channing Tatum is. I feel like we're on like the
cusp of Channing Tatum renaissance.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
I mean, hey, gambit, he's gonna be in this and
then obviously Doom Today and whatever else is going on.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
So because I feel like we haven't seen him in
much since the last what's the Triper movie again?

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Magic Mike?

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Yeah, I feel I can't see much him is Magic Mike.
And supposedly they're making another twenty one or twenty two
Jump Street as well. I think we're on a cusp
of him being there everywhere.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Again, I'm glad he's fun He's funny.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
So, in case you didn't know, Demon Slayer is going
to have an actual movie come out in theaters, like
kind of thing of along the lines of Dragon Ball
Superhero came out like two years ago.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
It was actually in theaters.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
It's gonna be called Dragon Slayer Cametsu no Yaba Infinity Castle,
which is gonna be a whole arc but they're making
it a movie.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Pretty dope.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
I actually talked to a bunch of people I work
with actually watch it and had our reserve tickets for
this because it is settling out and I'm like, hell yeah,
I love that, Like anime is trickling more into the theater.
We're getting out to go see that it will not
and I'm like, no, this is not the live action
version of the movie it is.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
He's gonna be a voice character.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
In that movie, officially becoming I don't know how the
movies movie Cannon works with with this series, but potentially
becoming Cannon on the show. So if you're trying to
watch it, I believe it is on Netflix, which is
pretty cool because they don't divide up by season to
divide up by.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Arc, which is pretty cool. I appreciated that. But crunchy
Roll did announce that.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Tatum will provide English voice work for Kizo and then
that Rebecca Wang will be voicing.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Koyuki. So cool. I don't know these characters. We haven't
really watched it, but does get me more excited into
that franchise, Like, hey, Turnny Turnhams with Towns, maybe I
should give it a go.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I think it was Delta. I think Delta now he
flied Delta. You get Country Roll for free flying.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
And so a lot of people like if you're on
a twelve hour flight, you can watch one arc of
one Piece. I think it was the joke, you know.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
But it is pretty cool because I'm happy for chanting
Tatum kind of diversifying himself, getting getting into something that's
not him being a heart throw but a voice actor.
I mean grandit that there are tons of talent the
voice actors, that there aren't big names that we all know,
but it's still kind of cool when we have a
big name actors do do voice acting mainstream.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
And I think it really like it's the same thing
of I think Tom Brady in an interview this week,
was wearing a one piece shirt. So like those big things,
they make big waves. So and it's cool to get
new audiences exposed. As you know, everyone obsessed over Attack
on Titan because it was like the mainstream thing at
a time, saying with Dragon Ball, it's it comes in
ways and it's pretty dope.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Yeah. And then also, I mean, even if you don't
regularly watch anime, sometimes I'll just come across a random
anime show in my action scenes. Wow, yeah that was
really cool.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Uh, and like I'm an double.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
That's how I know it's on Netflix and invite it
in arcs because I looked at it and too, so I
think that as.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
You will, I still need to get really back into
my anime anime era. I kind of we I just
forgot about it because by add I think it is funny.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
We are just in an era of like I want
to watch this show, but then five other shows come.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
In and it take its place beforehand.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Like I want to watch the live action one Piece,
but I got like five other shows recommended to me
watching instead.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
I love, I'll love to get the anime I was
watching on Netflix. The reason I'm talking about on Monday,
but next week is Peacemaker.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
So sorry I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
Also, if you're looking for another TV show, I found out, Uh,
there's a docu series on Netflix coming out tomorrow as
of this podcast recording. It's called Fit for TV, The
Downfall of the Biggest Loser. So if you were obsessed
with Biggest Loser like my family was back in the day,
it's gonna be like the ups and downs.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Of that show. And I'm excited.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
I'm excited to watch that personally because we were obsessed
with that show.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
I remember I can't remember lady Lady wholet on that show,
but we had her games like how for we fit
h all the time?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Jillian Michaels. That's what it was. The training.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Yes, yeah, it was we fit Jillian Michaels.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
Like.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
We had copies and copies of that because when we
get down to ten, somebody will buy them all. I
mean they order like forty more one time.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
And it's so weird that we're in a time of
reality TV. We we collectively watched the show where someone
lost two pounds and we all collectively rooted for them.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
You know, it's like, oh, yeah, you did.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
It's funny. I know the actions of how they made
them lose weight. Were very bad, yes, but at the
same time, we America is rooted for people getting healthy.
Was really cool, you know what I mean, because we
we accept people who are of a larger character but
at the same time want to be healthy as well. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Yeah, and it's called there's balance, it's called you should
He said you should watch anim show for every live
action show.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Sounds great, but execution, you know.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
Yeah, I would love to do that. Honestly, I'm getting
more and more. Remember what was that app that philed
missing the pandemic? Supposed to be like five minute episode?

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Oh not to be? Is that what it was?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
I can't remember what it was called, but I'm kind
of moving forward a resurgence of that because my attention
SPAN's getting bad. Really even like what.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
I want to quebe Quibi That's what it was, yes, Quibi.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
When I pulled up the episode of Ailien, I was like, man, hour, God, damn.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
I'll watch it, but I'm excited. But I'm like, damn,
all right, but then we complain when episode is twenty minutes, like,
come on, go a longer.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
I feel like anime is probably the perfect, the perfect
Oh yeah, maybe I binge watched through four episodes of
Diama today.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
Real quick.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
That's just me and my attention span. That's not a
blight on the on the format. It's just a man
that's just getting bad riding.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Yeah, okay, sure, that's a kep of quote. I don't
know how to transition from that one. But James gun
we found out this week because we did have the
Peacemaker that's kind of like the next big show. Obviously
Alien Earth is going on, but Peacemaker is the next
premiere this.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Month coming out.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
They had the actual red carpet for it. John Seen
is still in the costume for the Next Foreseeable Future,
which is why he dropped the title. I still say
he needs to show up at ww in the Peacemaker costume,
but that's a whole different.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
I would love it if that WrestleMania Peacemaker has a match,
not John.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
He's like I said, I retired, not Peacemaker, but on
the red carpet. James Gunn did reveal that the Superman
saga officially exists and that he.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
Has written he's finished the treatment for the next story
and what he is calling the Superman Saga, which that
can mean a lot of things. I think right now,
just looking at it, I think that is the Superman
family of stories. I guess you could say, of here,
we have Superman, Supergirl's been filmed already, and I assume
he's working on Superman two and he just finished it.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Now.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
I'm happy that it's happened, but I kind of I
hope he's still focused, and I know he is, but
I don't need him to direct this next one. I'm
being handed off to somebody else because you still have
a whole other batch of characters. I mean, we haven't
got a planing Batman. One Woman's being developed. We don't
have a Flash, we don't have we have Green Lanterns

(38:31):
coming out, Lantern's going on next year. You don't have
a Marta, mann't have Aukca Man. That's kind of like
your Justice League. Yes, and we're still building toward a
dark side, and I know James Gun's quirkiness. We're getting
new gods at some point. Could a lot of work
to make new gods palatable. Put it like that. So
I'm happy that the treatment is done. He's working on

(38:52):
the second one, but I hope he's still also like, Okay,
I'm done with that let's move on out to Batman,
you know what I mean, Like, yeah, he has like
a segment of his day of task.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
It is funny too because I remember, and it's totally okay.
I like, it's just funny. Like remember that when we
announced the DCU was like, oh, yeah, we're doing the
like of Gods and Monsters. Saga or whatever was this
first wave of movies and content coming out. And it's like, yeah, yeah,
that was a cool buzzword.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
But I don't really care. Just give me the heroes.
I don't really care if it lives up that saga
arc name or whatever.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Just give me a movie. I mean, I remember originally
it was called Superman Legacy and heavy drop Legacy because
there's nothing to do with legacy Superman all that.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
Extra stuff exactly. Plus then you're like, well, it's only
doing this because of the original ones.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
And you just got to compete with the original one. No,
it's its own thing, but let it do it. It's
almost one hundred years later the first Superman movie.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
Okay, I know it's not, but still, I mean, it's.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Called to fifty, might be fifty.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
It is fifty fifty like next year or something.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
I think because next year two years of Star Wars
fiftieth right, so yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
Off it anyway, it feels like one hundred.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
But to go with this, which I think is this,
you can including the Superman saga.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
Uh. The Crypto is actually getting a four part animated series. Uh.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
The first episode actually came out yesterday called Crypto Saves
the Day. It is available digitally as of tomorrow as
so it was on YouTube, but it's everywhere tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
But it's pretty cool. It's gonna go with Superman the
first episode, and then it will be released throughout the
rest of the year, probably up till Supergirl, most likely
as a connecting piece.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
Nothing like super detrimental. But hey, if you really like Crypto,
your kids like Crypto, you can watch a little short
about Crypto doing adventures throughout the next year, essentially Art two.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Because people already love Crypto in the movie for the
love of them, sure through this animated series, and also
it develops that love because if you're familiar with the
Women of Tomorrow comic, Crypto gets injured, so it will
invoke in motion to go see the movie as well. Well.
For some people, I know, some people can't watch movies
or series when animals get hurt. It's like a thing.

(41:08):
But but yeah, crypto is like your group. So baby grew,
I just say, so keep on keep on. Drawn from that,
well you know what I mean. Yeah, and I mean
it makes sense. I like we said, expand.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
It and they have an animation team for future's Commandos.
We I think of season two Green I remember.

Speaker 1 (41:29):
Of the time I had.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
But if they're they can do a quick crypto sketch
episode would be good.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
And when we were all scared doing there's gonna be
too much crypto, I think it was just right way
the crypto, just.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
The right amount, which we appreciate it, but we're like
it's too much.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
Apparent there was a there was a scene where I
think either the the the Engineer or Ultraman Superman's clone
punch Crypto. I'm glad I took it out because I
need all that.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
I need that I would hate it more, but I
don't need that. But yeah, pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
And like I said, this would probably be like if
you were to rent the Superman or buy the Superman,
saga'd probably include these four shorts and Supergirl and then
Superman two. Whatever the hell it's going to be called Uh,
if you were to buy that collection, probably like five
years or whatever, this is.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
Gonna be available for purchase on streaming.

Speaker 3 (42:27):
So it's with it comes available with Superman when it
comes digitally or if you buy it physically that it's
like on the extras, but you can also watch it
on YouTube and everything.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
So it's up to you how you want to you
want to watch it?

Speaker 2 (42:39):
Really do you purchase when it was digitally available? Just wait?

Speaker 1 (42:44):
So here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
I'd never really buy a movie anymore unless it like
left an impact on me. Like let me see, like
the last I think Sinners was the last movie I buy.
I think today buy Sinners or maybe I talked about
buying Centers.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
No, no, no, Apple TV. I don't want you. Oh okay, yeah,
So like.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
I bought Wicked last year and then and then Centers
those so like the big cultural impact movies, those ones
I buy everything else. I'm like, it's on streaming service
all it somewhere.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
The last movie my wife did buy a Wicked when it
was available. The last movie I bought I think might
be Endgame.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Yeah, I mean yeah, it is really rare. Like even
with Marvel, I don't buy Marvel movies a lot Star Wars.
I mean, it hasn't been a movie in a while,
so I can't really say anything, but I think I
have all the Star Wars movies. Yeah, digitally. I usually
buy them digitally, or if you're smart, you can wait
follow Warrow sixty four to get a deal on like, oh,

(43:43):
the four K plus digital is on sale for like
five bucks or sometimes digital two. I've done that off
the Spider Man movies.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
I think Thun the Bolts is actually available on the
end of AUGUSTUS.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
Twenty fourth or no, twenty seventh, you're right.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Yes, and I think before might be available Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
Uh no, I mean that track record probably by Halloween
because made made end August is three months so oh.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
Yeah, that's good point. That's good point. It's funny. We're
actually going out and watch on Sunday in Dressic Park Rebirth,
so they're gonna they're gonna rent that.

Speaker 1 (44:21):
I'm like, you should wait till that's on Peacock because
that will probably Peacock by way before the end of September.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
So yeah, well, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
Well, Kevin, save that rant directed over here, because Ryan
Reynolds has officially teased that he's maybe.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
On the set of Avengers Doomsday or at least Secret
Wars thanks to Instagram.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
It's insane because this broke Wednesday, No Tuesday, and then
Wednesday it broke the No he's not in the movie,
but it's like no, no, no, no, we know what we
saw you.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Sure he's not in the movie. Sure doing something in
case he missed it, Reynolds as he kind of cryptically
doesn't he can, which is great.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
I mean, Johnson a cryptically posts all the time. It's
funny to decipher what he means after the thing happens.
He had the Avengers logo and a spray painted or
painted a logo on top of it, kind of graffiti style. Uh,
kind of signaling you now, uh, just Deadpools here having
some fun because you know, we see's synonymous with dead Pooles.

(45:33):
As how Robert Downey Junior was synonymous with Iron Manual.
Now he's doctor too. So take it as you will exactly.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
I'm kind of happy for this because and also it
makes kind of sense because if you if you watch
chair watch what I think people are calling them now
when announced everybody to be in Doomsday. A lot of
Fox characters, a lot of Fox characters, and it looks
like Disney slash Kevin is basically going to be turning
the paved from the Fox universe on the New universe.

(46:04):
So why wouldn't dip Will be in a movie with
all other Fox characters.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
Yeah, And I think interesting thing is because you know,
we're I think it was the end of July, we
were officially what a year away from the next Marvel movie.
I wouldn't be surprised that they wait till whatever a
year out is from Doomsday. That date can change at

(46:28):
any time because it's a December release date and they
can do whatever they want. And in twenty twenty six
we get a second chair reveal of here is the
Doomsday Part two slash Secret Wars chairs, and then you
kind of have to do the math of well they
got a chair for Secret Wars, but they didn't get
a chair for Doomsday.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
You know, it'd be funny that they did do like
a chair watch for Secret Wars. So well, there's a
rumor actually that next month they're announcing more casting.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
Yeah, because d twenty three's next month or a couple
of weeks actually really from now, and that's where you'll
get a lot of new Park announcements, more moviennouncements really.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Of like, hey, what character to the cast already? And
Lelo and Stitch too.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
We don't have anything done, but you know we have
an actor cast.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
Yeah, and Ryan Reynolds's somebody who would love to have
on stage perhaps in costume to say about the way
I'm in Doomsdays. And it actually it works because it's
depool breaking the fourth wall again, those deepol coming out
and say, hey, I'm deep, I won't be inday.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
Yeah, I think, uh, just the impact of D twenty three.
Freaker Friday was announced at D twenty three like two
years ago or something, and that movie's out now.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
But it is like a lot of things are announced
at D twenty three and not so much at Comic Con,
and we watch we try to watch it if it's
on a stream or something, or we just watch people
live streaming on TikTok. From their perspective is that.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
It's not why I saw the man Llorian trailer we
haven't talked about yet.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
Well, hopefully hopefully we'll probably get that, hopefully probably get
that in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 1 (47:53):
Kevin, the proper one.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
One, not somebody's camera phone.

Speaker 3 (47:57):
They're like, hey, we've been sitting on this for about
a year and a half. Now here you go, Here you.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Go, says his first words.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
He doesn't, by the way, that is true, but yeah,
I think this is smart.

Speaker 1 (48:09):
Kevin.

Speaker 3 (48:09):
My main question to you is, obviously you kind of
alluded to it because there are a lot of Fox
characters or Fox actors in this, at least Doomsday. How
does Deadpool fit in the Avengers Doomsday stick it war?

Speaker 1 (48:20):
For you?

Speaker 2 (48:24):
He's kind of a I don't want to say, a narrator,
but maybe like our eyes inside the NTU, so to speak.
Because Deadpool doesn't have a he's not a hero. There's
not a way you have to portray him. Because of
twenty seven past movies. Deadpool's just dead Pools. They kind

(48:45):
of do what he want. So I feel like he's
somebody who canna be like almost in the situation. While
I don't know, Thor is telling Captain Marvel, how do
we wanna deal with this dooms thing? He's kind of like,
yeah about that? Oh, really cool? Like him there even
like us our eyes inside of the conversation, and they'd
be like, somebody please shut him up, and then like
somebody hits him and he goes like, okay, well come

(49:06):
with you guys.

Speaker 3 (49:06):
Like a cool way they could do is save him
for secret Oars and he recaps Doomsday to the audience
and like, here we go. I I just thought of
this because when you were talking, you pull a Gremlins too,
And Deadpool is Hulkgan where they pull out into the
movie theater and his Deadpool watching like say like, oh,

(49:28):
you Venders defeated Doom or some mish like that, and
it's dead and it pauses.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Dead Pool pulls out Deadpool and poppar like this.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
Is a great movie. I hope you have a great time.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
Then it gets dragged into the movie and then dead
Pool pops up to some Doom powers.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
I also could go back. I remember we would have
this theory a while ago, right after passing of stan Lee.
We thought maybe Depoel could be the new stan Lee.
Shows up in every movie for like two seconds and
just something stupid and then we never see him again
in the movie.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
That is true, I mean that still could work.

Speaker 3 (49:58):
If anything is just like, oh, there's a guy in
any time you see a guy like a red hoodie said,
got him.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
Now it's just a good red hoodie. Don't worry about it.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
But we kind of I feel like we kind of
already already saw one scene he's going to be in
because of that scene in uh Depael Wolverine, where like
he's dying in Thor's arms something like that, and it
looks very even the lighting is differentrom depe movie. It's
lit like an MCU movie. So that's something. And was
he dying or was he just was he just you know,
pulling the fast one on Thor? Who knows? It looks

(50:28):
like maybe him and Thorn would would be good friends.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
Maybe, you know, and you would hope You're like, hey,
we already know what we're doing. You only need him
for like a day maybe two days to shoot that
actual scene and then move on, you know.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
So yeah, and then it'll also be a cool thing.
Like he hasn't been announced yet, but if we get
the X the Fox X Men era Wolverine, Hugh Jackman
him coming to that university, oh Wolverine too, and then
like that would hate him as well. But that doesn't
warm up to him like the Depine Wolverine, he just
hates all the time. He never it never gets one

(51:01):
as good side that'll be a coin ouraction to to
see him and goes him and the hughe Ckman just
go back and forth again.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
Yeah, yeah, I think either way it is just a
character you have to figure out, like, do we actually
integrate him and he has to take things seriously with
the MCU or fox Verse or whatever we're going to
do with all that, or do you do you keep
it on the sidelines and keep them the comical fourth
quality character.

Speaker 1 (51:24):
That is the thing you get to balance.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
And because there are a lot of moving parts, you
just have to figure out how those moving parts work.
Like also, does Deadpool exist with Rebecca Romain and you know,
like those versions of the X Men characters, because it
really didn't.

Speaker 1 (51:39):
It was really like the first class version of X Men.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
So how does that the version of Deadpool that we
know interact with the old version of X Men that
we used to know.

Speaker 2 (51:48):
One thing too is Tantana's movie. I forgot about that,
And that's the same gambit that we met in depl Wolverine.

Speaker 1 (51:55):
If he shows up, did he make a name for
himself exactly?

Speaker 2 (51:59):
That a lot of things he could do. Maybe, like
I said, he's just there for like a day he's
only like in one to two seasons, or maybe he's
more like the reason they because I believe he can
still teleport in the universes. We didn't see him really
do it in Dipple Wolverine, but he had that power
the the diple two. Maybe he's going to save them

(52:19):
all at the end.

Speaker 1 (52:20):
And gets them, gets them to tv A or something.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
Exactly, and then then like.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
Tv A would be a good like retreat zone at
the end of Doomsday and that's like your base for
secret wars.

Speaker 1 (52:33):
Just saying like for the heroes and.

Speaker 2 (52:37):
How do you get to the I can't remember what
it's called, like the Doom's world where they battle war
Battle World, actually go through all the battle. This movie
has a lot to do, but I'm staying confident because
Russals didn't once.

Speaker 1 (52:51):
So probably twice. Actually they've done it.

Speaker 2 (52:57):
A movie with a lot of characters. There are a
lot of the Civil War. There were a lot of
characters in the game, and yeah, you know what I mean,
they didn't want I think they could do it again
and they have have They have the same writer as well,
what's his name, mcphieley, You don't have I don't have
another guy they have mcphielly at least, so I'm saying
the russ the Russells, Kevin Fagy are bad in one

(53:18):
hundred right now, that was saying.

Speaker 1 (53:21):
But when they're apart, they don't.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
When they're together, Kevin Facky can get on pretty well
when it was on, but the Russalos don't. Go.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
Yeah, it's okay, that's okay, that's all right. But let
us know what you think.

Speaker 3 (53:32):
Are you excited to have a Deadpool in this version
proper version of the mc Yes, it is an MCU movie, woo,
but properly together with secret Wars and Doomsday? When do
you think we'll get another round of chairs, chair reveals.

Speaker 1 (53:48):
And all that stuff.

Speaker 3 (53:49):
Probably D twenty three, like we said, And I can't
wait to talk about T twenty three. That's right around
the corner, so be.

Speaker 2 (53:53):
Cause that's supposedly uh why can't remember her name? Hawkeye
and Mama and Malani. It's Marvel supposed to be this movie
as well.

Speaker 3 (54:03):
August twenty ninth when it starts Labor Day weekend, so
no holiday for us. But let us know what you

Speaker 3 (55:06):

the corner and Peacemakers also happening, So it's kind of like, well,
we're holding.

Speaker 1 (55:12):
Off till the shows come out and then we're good.
So we are waiting.
