Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the Nerdy News and need to Know
throughout the week on iHeartRadio went back cab services around
the world. Because my name's Hoodie Kevin and you're officially
listening to this Monday pre Peacemaker episode of what keV
Crisis on.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Cookie be more like Teddy or not?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Don't just sit down what you're up to you because
sometimes I still worry. I know we've been doing it
for like three years of Teddy or four years of
Teddy with actually vocaling. I still don't know if it's
a good thing or not.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
So you want to be part of the show. I
think it's fine. You're good if you're a VET. This
one here, Yeah, it's a jerk.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
If you're a VET or no VET, ask hey, is
it okay that hoodies dog does the crisis intro. Then
show them intro, maybe introduce them to the podcast and
then see what happens, you know, maybe get into a
listener a little bit too.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I think it's fine. I think it's just a dog
knowing what wants to be there.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
With that father. Help, that's what that one is. I
will help you. Father. We got a jam back show
for you today. Obviously, we're off the rails a little bit,
so it's gonna be a good time. But not only
are we gonna talk about our last minute Peacemaker season
two predictions talk about Marvel Zombies because we're like a
month away from that and we had no trailer for
that as of this podcast recording. And we're gonna do

(01:34):
a new segment I like to call hit or miss
where we are gonna look at the Hollywood Reporters list
of who is the best wrestler turned actor and see
if we agree with the list or we disagree with the.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
List opinions who I think it is. But I'm introduceinging this.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
List, you know, and obviously we'll put our own pinions
and all that good stuff. We'll list our own pinions.
It's an interesting thing and I think it gives us
some fun stuff that interact with you guys, the people
wepe that's the wrong hold on? Oh no, oh there
it is, there we go. I thought we lost that
one one away. I was like, that's not good. Also, Kevin,
I realized this list that we're about to go through.

(02:13):
The number one is at the top, so make sure
you scroll the bottom, close your eyes see if it
feels If it feels right, you're at the bottom, you're good.
But to see everything we're gonna talk about today and
so much more, you can keep it longed at infinite
Underscore Pods on the Instagram Odiac is gonna good to you?

(02:35):
We always have a good time. Or Kevin, where can
they go to interact with us live as we record
the podcast or maybe in their own time later on?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
You can go to YouTube dot com slash if Underscore pods,
watch us on demand at your own leisure. We have
Can I see hundreds?

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Now?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I think I can say hundreds? You can say that, yeah,
baby might be like one o three, but definitely hundreds
of episodes on air off the covers various nerdy topics.
But if one expert us live if the opportunity for years,
well is twitsch dot tv. If you underscore pods you
can join us there. You can follow us or if
you have an Amazon Prime subscription, you can throw us
up bar away too. How about the podcast? A little

(03:11):
bit a reminder? If you did it thirty days ago,
it's time to do it again. It's very simple.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I just did it.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Actually, you go to the page, uh, you hits up
and then actually do the prime thing and you're done.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And the cool thing is, yeah, it is once a
month short, but hey, let's face it, you're probably gonna
watch us at least once a month, maybe twice or
three or four times a month. So do it through Amazon.
Get it done better being bauda Boom, you do your
homework for the podcast. There you go.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
You know, it's funny. The more I get I guess
I don't say I get older, but for some reason,
I like I like listening and watching podcasts on YouTube
more than this, like the podcast that more. I don't
know why.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Sometimes you just like having a little visual and just like,
you know, I got people over there looking at me,
even though they're not really.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I think it's too because I watch a lot. I
listen and watch a lot of movie review podcasts, and
it's cool to see them when they like putting a
clip on the movie watching. So I think I got
like that too as well. That is great, but I
like the visuals stimulation as well.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yep, we've dose a lot of buzzwords in the first
four minutes of this podcast, and that's okay, but we
do properly start the podcast off with something we like
to call what you're doing where. We talked about the
shows and movies. We've been watching games, we've been playing lies,
we've been living and we know Twitch kind of had

(04:24):
a little baby hiccup. So something's going on over there.
If you're there, Hey, you're here. If not, hey, you
listen to this podcast version. Don't worry. Kevin. Uh you
fixed it without realizing it. You did. But Kevin, you
get to go first. Good sir.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
So my hold on boom boom, fix it?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yes you did, you did.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Cool. My weekend was actually a bit more. I want
to say, what's looking for busier than usual? I want to.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Say, okay, So my plan this.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Weekend was toasically because my wife and my daughter were
going to New York to go to the ice Cream Museum.
He had a good time of pinion. They're plan. My
plan was pretty much, come home from work on Friday,
play read Redemption, fall on sofa.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
That sounds like a plan.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
In the midst of that, I ran across the recipe
I saw for Swordfish on the internet. I'll get Swordfish,
didn't play RedANT reduction to fall asleep. I'll do that.
So I'm on my way home. I got a call
from one of my good workers to shout out Kobe
of nine eighty Rock. He said, hey, man, I have
press level passes to go see TEENAE Emergency tonight at
Chesapeake Chessape Arena. UNBC was like, oh, okay, cool, I'll

(05:36):
meet you there all right. So I went home, dropped
my food off, and the cool thing about Chesapeake Employers
Arena is like it's literally like ten minutesway from my house,
like right down the highway, so.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
It wasn't like a trip into the nice, nice drive.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
So it drove down there. I didn't have to pay
for parking. I'm whopping, thirty five cents.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Take it. We'll take it.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
And I think reading with thirty five cents because I
paid for it at like six fifty eight and at
seven it was free. I think thirty five cents. I
like watch probably wait to say thirty five cents, but
thirty five cents. I'm not a rich man, but I
got thirty five cents.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
It's cool.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
So yeah, I went down to TEENA Emergence and it
was a really really cool show. We were in like
the press level, so it wasn't like as high as
where we went to that first level event in Vegas,
but it was like an area where you kind of
can stretch out and you we were cramped in like
like you are in sporting events, and it was a
great show. A lot of the wrestlers I didn't know

(06:32):
because I'm not an mostly because I don't have cable anymore,
so I can't watch much in the first place, but
also I don't have teen a app either, But nonetheless,
it was still a lot of fun matches and to
of the wrestlers I did meet at my station two
weeks ago, A J. Francis and Moose. They came stations
for an interview and I met them. They were really

(06:52):
cool guys and I got to see them both perform,
which is really cool. Both of them are hometown people.
And the show was great. Trick Williams came out I
got for the first time. I gotta do the whoop
that trick live, and I've got to do it before.
There are a couple of amazing women's matches for the
first time ever. The one of the rustlers that they have,
like I through the fans entrance and where we were

(07:13):
sitting at was where he comes in. So I was
going to go get some popcorn. I was like, Oh,
that's the God's coming up next. That's cool. Usually those
happens to me whenever I go to wrestling event that
was on the opposite side. I can see them waiting,
waiting and always. So he's there, he's in character and
he's pumping everybody up. So that was really cool. What
was his name, I can't remember his name, but it
was really cool to see him come out through the
crowd and be like kind of be a part of it.

(07:34):
And at the end of the night, Trick Williams one
retained the title and that was great. That was a
great night. As we're leaving, we meet the lady that
kind of wrangled all the talent forest a week before
when they came to the station and she goes, hey,
give me a call tomorrow morning. I have some more
tickets for you for tomorrow. Oh there's a tomorrow. So
apparently what TNA does when they go to a city,

(07:57):
they taped two shows. So what they did was they
had their paper view event on the Friday and Saturday,
they taped the two filing shows coming up. So that cool.
See what happens. So I'm again relaxing on Saturday, I
finally got to play some reddesh. I'm out of the
mountains and that's good.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
He's properly playing the game now, you know.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
And the game is really fun. I got it. I
got immersed for a while. But I'm supposed to be
doing something, but I'm just walking around the first thing.
It's called Valentine, the first little town, and it's really
It's like, this is really cool. I feel like I'm
in an Old West.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
You're gonna go on the journey when you get the
Saint Denis. Baby, there's some nooks and crannies in that
town that you're gonna be You're gonna be interested all
times day in that city.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
I did the one mission where you get drunk with
that one guy and then having to find him after
every time you had to drink. That was fun. I
killed all the old driscols in the one camp and
found some money.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
That was that was really cool. Then I finally made
my stortfish. My stortfish was excellent. It's my favorite food
right now for my current obsession. I love swortfish. But
then I got a call and there was Kobe again,
say hey man, we got the tickets for tonight.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
You were coming down. I'm like, I'll be there now.
There was a little rink on the plane because at
least it came home like an hour.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
And you're like, oh, sorry, got plans, gotta go.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
By the way, before you came in the house, I
had a call went wrestling to night and it was
kind of kind of kind of like the okay, yeah, fun,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Hey, but when we
got there and we got to we got to we'll
call you our tickets. Surprised. We were a ring side, hey,
like literal little ring side, and we sat, we got seated.

(09:32):
We really on a hard camera side. So when you're
when you're watching this event, you to see me like clearly.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
So what when is this episode there that we need
to pay att to.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I'm guessing I think they air on Thursday. I think
it's raw nxt A.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Okay, so Thursday's episode of tn A. We'll have you.
Now where where on the hard camera side, which is
the side where you see things at.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
So like if you look, if you look across the
ring at the said be the right turn buckle, I'm
like two seas down for you see me clearly.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
I'm excited because sure yeah, seeing you on TV is great,
but it's you being immortalized on tweets and everything that's
gonna go bigger. He was like, oh, there's Kevin in
the background this random tweet.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
It was really cool. The first match that night was
on Matt Cardona and Buzzy Buddy Lee. I can't remember
who it was against Ali Ali Mustafa's stable, and there's
a couple of times where like they get knocked out
the ring on our side, I'm like, oh, look, Matt,
get up. You gotta get up, Matt.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
You need your We give you a friend right down
at him.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
It was really really cool. And there's a there's a
Clearest thing where Chick Williams has a tag matcha match
attack match him a J. Francis versus the one guy
said earlier and I can't remember the person was it, uh,
I can't remember what the other person was. But anyway,
during the interest, I'm doing whoop. I'm whooping my trick
my heart out, and in my face.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
It's like, please cut to me, please cut to me.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I was just doing a whoop that truck thing. I
turned around, Oh that's a camera in my face. Oh
my gosh, that to me I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Be really exciting, It'll be real immortalized, right, So I'm
gonna tell everybody, Hey, Thursday night, just just chat on
Overwatch TN A real quick.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
I don't even know what channel is on. Honestly, I
think it's like.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Only Access TV if you have the channel. All those
fails YouTube.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
That should be on YouTube. And I'm standing up and
there were another there was like a gauntlet match where
it was a female women's got gatland match, and then
again they came out a ring on our side. I'm like, ah,
they get look, get up, i gotta get up. They're coming.
It was I've never been a ringside before. I know
you guys were like ringside for ringside for SmackDown, and

(11:37):
I about to ask you, we have to could you
hear them talking even though they were.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
A little bit, I mean, you can make out because
you just know, like Michael Cole's voice at the time,
I think it was Coreky Graves was the other announcer
at the time. But we there's like three seconds of
SmackDown that you can see us because it's when Solo
so CoA was taken on Samuy's ain and they throw
Samizin into the announced area where and we're like, go,
you can hear you can hear me, my ah, if

(12:03):
you've heard that anywhere in this podcast, you know I'm
right there. So I was wearing the macho man jacket
so then people could were there. Yet I should have
wore that, dang it. It's a good like stand out
in a crowd jacket, you know.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Yeah, I just wore. I actually wore the shirt. Warn't
Batman shirt, so I mean he was the black black
ball guy with a badman shirt on.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Oh that's Kevin, That's Kevin.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
But yeah, that was another great night. They taped two shows,
and I didn't feel like it was two shows. I mean,
it was still like from seven thirty bleft like around eleven,
but it really moved, like it really breathed by, and
it was like, as a wrestling aholic fan, I was
trying to see if I could hear them call the
moves and call the spots, and I kind of could,
but I still couldn't see it all the way like

(12:45):
this is great, I can't the magic is a room
for me. Even so, it was all in all great weekend.
On Sunday, it was more of a chill day, just
chilling with the kids and playing mad and playing at
Miss Rachel. I think the Phonic song is my new
favorite song right now.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Sure, uh huh, I'm not getting into that one. Bluey's
where I draw the line.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
It's kind of abop. I'm not gonna lie, but uh yeah,
that's my extremely busy weekend for me.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
That's good. I'm glad you got busy baby for me.
I'm happy to say dragon Ball Dima officially done. Your
boy finished that, I will say good. Not my favorite,
That's totally okay because I think I went from a
hype trim Z to Super then to that, and it's
kind of a little like action Action Action Action action,

(13:36):
whereas this is a little more like whims the cool
dragon Ball It came, like I said, to the og
dragon Ball series. It is cool if you have I
think it's Sparking Zero, which is the newer dragon Ball
game that came out, or Kaka Rot which was the
RPG one that came out four years ago, or something.
They do have DLC for Dima, so it's kind of
cool to see that stuff integrated. Spoilers. They do make

(14:00):
Super Saying three Vegeta and Super Saiyan four I'm not
saying who Cannon, So that's pretty dope at least. So
whatever next dragon Ball series happens, because there will be
another dragon Ball series, most likely, it'll be interesting to
see how they incorporate things from Dima and obviously would
assume it's after Super and all that good stuff.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Yeah, I remember an original GT. Goku actually trained and
became Super, saying four vegeta.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I had like a machine to help them do it,
and then he turned it in a bag. Besides that,
today I did spend forty minutes over deciding on who
I wanted to cut my hair. And if you're like
me or Kevin, which we talked about before this podcast,
you have decision paralysis a lot, not really with haircuts
for Kevin, but more like anything in general, where you

(14:50):
just cannot make a decision. You sit there, weigh in
your odds and you're just thinking about, especially with this
haircut of well, if I go person A, I'm gonna
see Person B at the shop and I'd be like, oh,
I could have had that experience if I want to
person B. Luckily I want person A. So we're gonna
see what happens when I haircut. Finally, on Thursday, and

(15:10):
it's cool because my brother and his wife are coming
up this upcoming weekend. We're gonna go to the Commanders
Ravens game, which is great me versus Kevin essentially, so
it'll be fun. And I was like, I want to
look decent if we're gonna be taking a lot of
photos of like the four of us, was like, we're married.
All of the four of us got married, you know,
in the past two years, the hood Bows and the Wives. Friday,

(15:34):
I was in your neck of the woods, Kevin, because
I went to go see Katie Perry at CFT Bank Arena.
Got some Jimmy ceafood before which was great. Traffic not great,
but food was phenomenal. It was cool because we kind
of know the owner, John Minnedacus, who runs everything there.
The whole family like runs everything there, and it was
cool to get his like post debrief of the Hardy

(15:57):
Boys event that was the night before on like Thursday,
which is really cool. On how they booked those things
because apparently wrestlers like those type of things wrestler's book
on their own and not through WW or TNA or
AW so it was kind of like.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
They got they got a host of that is actually
our morning show host. When I rocked.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Kevin's like, next time I will be there.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Well, it was funny because that at the Advent they
kept showing the Hardy Boys thing and justin I know.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Liam, I could have been there, damn it.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Next time she did it, asked me. I said, no,
I don't want to go.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
No, next time, you'll get some food out of the traffic.
That is true. That's the other side of Baltimore for you.
That's a long drive. Not as long as me, but long.
But Katy pay was good. Rebecca Black was the opener, uh,
you know, the Friday Girl, and surprisingly only fifteen seconds
of Friday played during her set, So that was a
little a little of a bummer because you're expecting, hey,

(16:48):
it is Friday, this concert, so this and last Friday
Night are gonna be the bangers of tonight, and so
her not doing it. It was okay. Katy was good.
I do think if you've never seen it, definitely check
her out. I mean bangers. She's got like at least
thirty songs that you know you know and you probably
know the words too, which is wild.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Yeah, probably all singles too.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Like you're late two thousands to mid twenty teens. That
is all Katy Berry running. That is like kiss the
girl with what two thousand and like six or seven?

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Yeah, wow crazy thinks you've been around that long. Wow.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Yeah. But so it was really good. She did do
a lot of backflips. So if you see my TikTok
at Andrew hoodie, it's the she was a fairy bound
she's just spinning around, which school. We were really close.
This is the first time I've ever been properly on
the floor for a concert. But there weren't seats on
the floor. It was standing room on the floor because

(17:44):
the whole stage took up I guess the arena part
of everything, so some parts couldn't see her at all.
Some parts she was like two feet away from me,
which is pretty dope. Which is that's just an interesting like,
oh floors where you want to go until you realize,
wait a second, so I'm not in the first two
rows four kind of sucks.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
That's what me and my buddy was saying, like we
we love being rings o. We were like we kind
of preferred Press Park. We kind of stretched out.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yeah, well it's like same thing with WW Like if
you're sitting on the floor. Cool, but only like the
first two rows. Get those chairs and you're really seeing things.
You're like the tenth row all the way back, and
that's the last row. You're not really seeing too much.
You're part gonna be looking just as much as the
Titan Tron as that people in like two hundred sections.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
I don't think that sucked to the row behind us.
We're a bunch of and this is me saying whatever,
wait so I can say it a bunch of fat
guys that I call them spots. They screw that up,
Like you go, do you go try to do that?
You see what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
But yeah, I thought it was a good time. Saturday.
Saturday was cool because More and I just had like
a lazy day of cleaning and then I promptly we
were gonna go get dinner near our place, and our
friend was like, hey, I'm also going there. Do you
guys want to meet up for dinner? So that was
really cool, which you know, as as an adult in
your thirties, that's where you kind of figure out like

(19:00):
hanging out with friends is hard, you know, so like
when it is impromptu or something like that, you take
advantage of it.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
You know, Discord, I wouldn't see my only friend.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Well, you know, hey, thank god do this a week given.
Thank god, I haven't going Medieval Times next month too.
So but that's what we've been doing. You can also
let us know what you have been doing at Infinite
Underscore Pods or in the chat twitch dot tv slash
Infinite Underscore Pods. But Kevin, let's get on into it,

(19:28):
because it is time for the news. No news, and
first thanks, thanks. It's kind of a leftover topic from
last or yeah, last week, because it is Monday. It's
wild to think that we're practically almost done with August.
But yeah, last week, we talked about the video games
you can't play anymore in twenty twenty five, because there

(19:49):
are a lot of games where unless you I have
the system in five hundred HDMI connectors, you're not really
able to play it in twenty twenty five. So I
found a quick list, Kevin. Uh, two of them have
been debunked, unfortunately since the list came out unfortunately early
this year or year. But we're just gonna go through
this list and just talk about other games we think
of or not. I know a big one for me

(20:12):
is there's a Star Wars game that was on PC
that I just cannot remember what the name of it was,
but I remember my mom had it for us and
it was like the first PC game we got, and
it was kind of like a story mode, but he
had Lightsaber battles at the same time. It was interesting
in the Throne room. And it could have been one
of those flash games from back in the day too,
Jedi Ok.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Was it maybe cock Guitar? No, No, it was on PC.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
That's PC Star Wars.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Well again, I think about we think Lightsabers. I'll always
think about Jedi Power Battles.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
A terrible game, some Dark Forces. Oh well, I looked
that up. Kevin. What's a game for you that you
have a hard time playing in twenty twenty five or
can't play it all?

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Oh well, talk about the last week talking about Infamous
but in the same in the same realm. I don't
think it's on Let me before I say this, let
me make sure it's not on game Pass.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Anyway. Oh damn it, it's on game Pass.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Let's see here. It's not the one game that it
came out to around the same time as Infamous was
Prototype Fun fun game about basically you're alien. You're kind
of like Venom but not Venom in a way. You
make Alex Mercer and he gets there's like this thing

(21:38):
on him that he can make a sites with his
right hand, he could turn, he could shape ship and
do all the stuff, and the whole game is about
pretty much trying to figure out what happened that causes
to him. I believe you can still find it digitally
some places, but not everybody still characters on their library unfortunately.
And this was a really really fun game. It was
basically Xbox's answer to Infamous because was I'll put Exclusive

(22:02):
and then this was one of all systems, but the
second one wasn't as good but was still prety much
pretty fun. But yeah, Prototype was a game. I love that.
Once I've realized that now I don't have my Xbox
through sixty copy anymore, I can't play it anymore, which
kind of sucks.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
One of these days, one of these days will get it. Yeah,
I think obviously you can probably buy a system from
like an East star Land or dk Oldies, which, fun fact,
dk Oldies is in Pennsylvania. Uh So if you buy
something from that, I know they're super expensive. That's a
quick turnaround, especially if you're in Baltimore area like Kevin,
or if you go to eas Sterland. They're in Chantilly,

(22:35):
so that's a quick turnaround for us Virginia peeps over here.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
For me, the only place I can't remember the name
of the store is called but the only place I
can think of right now that sells old and used
games actually too, it's one in Eldersburg. I can't remember
it's called, but it's not. The one closer in Towson,
right near the arcade in there. It's like really like
the arcade and then it's like the store right next
to it. Only one I can think of there.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Yeah, I forgot to mention this, so I'm gonna save
it for the next what you're doing. I went to
a to car chops over the weekend, just because I
have a lot of stuff going on. I have to
tell you some tales about I'll save that for Wednesday
because Kevin, Oh, I completely can block some of those
things out. Yeah, I think those are cool. Let's go
through this list and just see, you know, memories and

(23:16):
all that good stuff. The first one on this is
the list from CBR Comic book resource X Men Arcade,
which was kind of one of those side scroller games
where you got to play certain X Men, usually taking
on Sentinels and other random boss enemies. This one was
ported at one time the PS three and three sixty
and mobile games. Since then, you can't play it just

(23:37):
because of licensing and Konami and all that good stuff.
It is on an arcade one up machine. If you
have an ur arcade one up machine can afford it,
but it's sold out. So the only way you could
play that is if really you have the arcade machine nowadays.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Yeah, I've seen right now. Actually the actual the actual
arcade machine that had it is going right now for
thirty three dollars.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
And yeah, that's it's sold out and they're not selling again.
I remember playing this back in the day. Infamously. We
would go to when I played like Little League Baseball,
we would have batting cage practice. The batting cage practice
was next to late was next to a laser quest. Kevin,
do you know what laser quest is?

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yes, laser Quest was a frequent spot of.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Mind, frequented spot of DDR and all those good things.
But instead of also DDR, they also had the X
Men Arcade actual cabinet, and your boy played a lot
of that when it was like all right, hoodie, you're up.
All right, we got fifteen other people to go through
batting cage practice, so you were I have to stay
here because your parents dropped you off for two hours.
So go do what ever you want.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
I got quarters, I got time there you go, Kevin.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Any memories with you for X Men Arcade.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
I didn't have this game, but I had a similar
game on SNS that I got because of playing X
Men Arcade at the our cage when I was a kid.
It is this this kind of game I whish kind
of still existed, and they make them sometimes, but they
don't hit the same That makes sense, you know what
I mean? Because like at my job, we have actually
four r K one up machine and one of them

(25:14):
has Final Fight on it, and I forgot how fun
Final Fight was from back in the day. These beat
them up to where it's like, you know, low kick,
high kick, power move whatever. It's a lot of fun.
And of course as a kid, I like everybody will
be Wolverine. I like being side clops because you can
attack from range, which is always funny. All these kind
of games. So yeah, this one takes me back to

(25:34):
the days where having a quarter meant something, you.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Know what I mean, a quarter meant something. Damn it.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Oh man, oh my gosh, look at this. I don't
have to screenshots of it. And it's like that that
uh that side shot actually shot of the Cydclobs Wolverine
a colossal in the action, like you don't get it anymore?

Speaker 1 (25:52):
I mean, uh so, Kevin on number six on this
list is probably not near and dear to your heart,
but we'll open up a can of worms to other
game games that are near and dear to your heart.
Transformers Devastation was the last critically acclaimed Transformer game, which
came out in twenty six sixteen, delisted twenty seventeen, So
unless you have the game physically, you cannot play this

(26:14):
game anywhere.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
I didn't play this one because I believe this is
a fighting game, and I didn't want to play a
Transformers fighting game. I'm more interested in Transformer story. But
off of this though, Transformers War for Cybertron, Transformers Fall
of Cybertron, or two of the best.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Chef's Kiss games in the world. I say those two
games were the last three sixty games I owned before
I switched the Xbox One.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Those games are awesome, and like he said, they're they're delisteds.
I actually had a putchual copy of War for Cyber
one of these games. Boot back up and play it
again because the first the first mission in that game,
that's there's a part where you're playing as Bumblebee and
Transformers Transformer. We're all about it. Transform It's amazing. Yes,
that's real.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
That is a slept on game that, like you talk
about your Arkham Asylums, you have that right next to
it as your licensed video games of that time. Flipping
on the other side, technically, Exact Division kind of made
all those games two degree. Tony Hawk's pro Skater five,
thank god doesn't live anymore, because that was the bad
one that came out in twenty twenty, and because it
did so bad, Tony Hawk's the franchise went kind of

(27:22):
silent until he got pro Skater one and two. I'm sorry.
First Skater five came out, not in twenty twenty, came
out where in twenty fifteen, and then obviously we had
three and four this year. So this is the game
that ultimately killed the Tony Hawk franchise, even though there
was a lot of games that probably have said killed
the Tony Hawk franchise. At one point it was.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
So bad I said, no, what make it first two
again touching his crup.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
And people are like, what about American Wasteland? Don't worry
about you want to talk about that? Okay?

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Do you remember the other Tony Hawk game? I think
it was Underground one or two. They actually came with
a skateboard at the peripheral ride. It was Tony Hawk's
ride that did that. Yes, what what? What a terrible idea.
I'm pretty sure a lot of people's floors got ruined.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
Oh yeah, you scuffed that up. I mean, just you
just that's it is what it is? Uh, teenage mutant
Ninja Turtles, Turtles and Time reselled. We have gotten spiritual
successors to this game, but unfortunately you can't play the
original because you was off did it and it lost
the license. Then Nintendo acquired it in twenty eleven, and

(28:24):
then it's a whole It's lost the time essentially.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
And maybe it might be worse money. Not sure actually,
but I actually have an original copy of Turtles and
Time for snees but I don't have sees anymore. I
need to buy one.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
It's fine. Got the game, that's all that matters. That's
the thing you're actually selling.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
That I can't.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Here you go, Leah, here's your allowance for the week,
five dollars.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Actually, I want to play it again one day, but
I'm not sure if I can play it on SNS
controller and be good anymore.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
No, your hands, like, I can't can't do these controllers
anymore because back.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Then the control it goes about that thin if you
look about it, watching look at my hands, so that
thin not a thick boy, you gotta hold your whole head.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Damn it was just th things. Damn sure. Also Outrun
Online Arcade. I've never played this game, Kevin. If you have,
you can take over for sure. But it came out
in two thousand and nine. It was an arcade racing
game from Sega, which, let's face it, that timeframe, it well,
if it wasn't need for speed or fortsa or potentially

(29:26):
what's the other one? Grand reason? There you go, thank you.
You probably weren't playing it, man. Remember Ridge Racer That
also was the thing back good Racer, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Racer Ridge Racer was back in the day, if he
had a PS one was a demo disc staple. You
know it. Every time a year old by, you're getting
a rich demo, like, yes, to see how it's going
to be this year, not going to buy it, but
I want to see how it's going to be.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
So this game actually outrun out Line Our Arcade was
delisted because Sega lost the license to Ferrari and Ferrari
was the main car sponsor for that, so you can't
can't anymore. Same thing kind of happening with the forts
of games we've kind of learned is you can't really
buy I'm Lesterre on game Perhouse early. But kind of
the thing that happens with license things. Why we don't

(30:10):
have certain wrestling games from back in the day beyond
Nintendo Switch Online and stuff like that, just because the
licenses and a lot.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Of times a lot of those games are listened, not
even because like the game was like, well there's a
song in that game that we just don't know how
to pay for anymore.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
We can't. Sorry, money in the bank unfortunately ruined the
smack nnversus Raw series because you can't get it anymore. Man,
money talk about that soundtrack. Can who was should number
two on this lit Spider Man Shattered Dimension. So if
you don't remember the Spider Man franchise before Insomniac took over,

(30:45):
kind of a little bit over here, a little bit
over there. Yeah, Edge of Time. Yeah, Shattered Dimensions was
one of these. This was came out in twenty ten.
Edge of Time came out after in twenty fourteen. This
is when Activisions still had the rights, and obviously they
lost them to Sony and then Insomniac. But these games
actually pretty good too. They're not as good as like

(31:06):
in an Arkham game, but they are good. You see this,
and you see the DNA that went into the Insomniac
games and then into the into the Spider Verse movies.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
You know, at a time when Spider Man games came
out regardless of one in the movies movie theaters. I
think we're kind of back there a little bit. But
like you know, remember now, I'm like, okay, time tickets
for Man three?

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Well, Kevin, I amm thinking of a hankering if I
might replay the Spider Man games again and just do
new game. Plus.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
I mean, it's not a bad idea.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Because I never could one hundred percent miles because Miles
you had to do new game plus. But I'm like, okay,
I got a hankering. I mean, I've played the Arkham
franchise to death. Maybe we played Spider franchise to death.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
But this game and also there's another game I want
to say. It was like two thousand and six Sevenimate
spider Man for two games for Spider Man games had
nothing to do any movies that were really really good. Uh,
this one was fun. And then after this one, I
believe it's when it started being connected to the movie
for a little while, because we got two Andrew Graphy movie,

(32:10):
which first one's okay, the second amazing Spider Man game.
Actually it's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
That's pretty also fun fact, Ultimate Spider Man had a
console version of that game and a DS version. I
had the DS version and uh, don't sleep on that
one either. For DS. At the time, you're like, this
is provocative, this is progressive so much.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
That was a time where like literally, uh, I guess
game developers had money and when the game came out,
will be on all consoles, No.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
We mean all consoles, PC, PlayStation, BlackBerry, PSP, BlackBerry.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
From the Engage uh and then the last one on
this list PT infamously as well as well, Floppy Bird's
back on phones now, so Floppybird would have been on
this list. PT was the last thing Kojima worked with
on Konamion, which was supposed to be essentially a demo
into Silent Hills if you played the whole demo, But

(33:08):
then Kojima parted ways with Konami in twenty fifteen, so
that Konami decided to remove PT from the PlayStation store. Obviously,
Kojima can't do anything with that franchise because Konami owns
the rights.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
But if you look at Death Stranding, there's some hits
hints there. But I remember infacitely people were selling their
PS fours that had a copy of PT, like people
were Flappy Bird in their phones.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
My iPad, I have Flubby Bird in my iPad two.
I probably sure do that.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Now it's worthless non delete it right now.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
I thought I heard, I thought story they were making
a movie about this game, but maybe that's all I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
They're making a Silent Hills game, so maybe they're who
knows or sorry video movie? My bad there, So maybe
they're incorporating some things there.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Yeah, yeah, but of course I've never played this game
because I don't play horror games good. I don't see the.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Point of being scary being scared.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
That's begetting myself to being scared. So screw that noise.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Yeah, that's okay, that's okay. But those are some of
the games. Obviously. Let us know which game you think
probably needs to be a comeback or you can't play anymore.
Like I said, the SmackDown versus Raw games. Those are
chefs Kiss. Unless you got three sixty and then two
ht my adapters, you can't really play him or an emulator.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
You know. There was a game that's been listed as well.
I don't ever heard of this game of Hoodie, but
it was on PS two and I think it was
on Gamekeep as well, okay, called Rumble Racing. Rumble Racing
was basically a Mario Kart, but not Mario Kart. There
were different styles of cars, so you have like, you know,
a race car, I win, a bago, a truck, a sedan,
and you race like any like Mario Kart, but you

(34:39):
get power up to get bombs, you get uh you know,
oil slick all that kind of stuff, but also when
you can do tricks to get boosts. It was a
really fun game. Look it up on TikTok or YouTube
we can get a chance. I have a copy of it,
but unfortunately my PlayStation two doesn't really blue back games
anymore because how old it is. It was a blueback
PS two games. Look that up. That that's the thing.
It was blue back and then they were even wrong.

(35:00):
It's a whole thing. But that game is a lot
of fun, a lot of hours with my cousins. I
having fun with that game back in the day, and
I wish they would pudditionally something.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
And I know emulators exist, but let's say, yeah, we
went the real thing and Simpsons Hit and Run, any
of the seasons games, Simpsons Wrestling, those are good blockbuster
rent for the video for the weekend games. Then you're like,
maybe we return this.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Maybe we don't actually talked my dad into buying our
rental offence Hitt and Run. We can just buy it please.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Yeah, there's like, oh, if you run it enough, like, hey,
just keep going it now at this point you kept
it late. Well, Kevin, let's go from things that you
know you can no longer play to something we're looking
forward to to watching. We've talked about the past, now
let's talk about the future. Marvel Zombies officially has a
release date, and lo and behold, September twenty fourth, baby.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Okay, I wasn't scared of going to say, like September
eleventh for somebody that that was a bad.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Oh sorry, September twenty seven with my bad read the
date wrong there.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
That's okay with me because I was scared of pushing
up a little too further. But that's still kind of
the edge of October, so it's still kind of Halloween
spooky fab Yeah, cool with that, Yeah, cool with that.
I'm not particularly excited for this, but I'll watch it
because I mean.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Something to watch, so I'm spooky to watch. Infamously, you
remember last year, which is wild. It was last year
we had Agatha all along and that was great because
it got us hype for spooky season. We were playing
the down the Witch's Road song that's been added to
Morris Forever Halloween playlist, so that's that's a statement in itself.

(36:36):
So I think this is a smart move for Marvel
to have this for the Halloween season. We did have
Werewolf by Night which was okay, we didn't bring us
the spooky vibes we wanted, but I.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Read like black and white versions.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Really, but this is really cool. We'll get all four
episodes of the show tentatively right now, We're supposed to
be coming out on the same day. I've read multiple
different sources. I can't confirm that one because some have
said weekly, someone said all at once. I'm fine either
way with it. I do think we need a trailer, though,

(37:10):
because like, give me a trailer. Sure, we know we
are our trailer. I guess is that one what if episode?
But what is the true purpose last point of this
show besides just being Halloween five.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
I think with the success of Isaa Wakanda, that show
got a lot of good reviews on it, they may
move to the drop all at once model, because I'm
imagining they're not going to probably be as much longer
than the episodes wisekinda was like I think long as
one was like twenty seven minutes, twenty eight minutes, and
people it was kind of like, Okay, I'm dipping here

(37:44):
for a hour or two, back out and I'm done.
This is really really good. But you're right, we do
need a trailer probably the next I think about Monday.
We should probably have a trailer if we're released on
the on the well, it's the end, it's the end
of September, but still you need something to get the
hype up. I mean, of course you can't watch an
episode of what if I think it was season onemal Zombies,

(38:08):
But at the same time, I want to see what
the feel of the show is. Is it that universe
or is something else? Yeah, are we gonna get like
like like a preamble, this is what happened before Zombies.
Here we are now know the story setting basically.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
And so this is the tentative synopsis I got from IMDb,
so I assume it's correct if it's on there. But
after the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a
desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an
end to the superpowered undead, racing across the dystopian landscape
and risking life and limb to save their world. All
four episodes releasing on September. This is twenty seventh, but

(38:44):
once it's twenty four that week we need a trailer
just to confirm things because a lot of it is like,
comic book has an image, here's you know, CBR has
an image, Collider has an image. Great line them all up.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
Please a story about how Collider posteds now and I
don't trust off for anything more.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
According to comic book dot com September twenty fourth, they
showed an image. We got a zombie abomination. You see
zombie scarlet, which again in zombie Hawkeye. If anything, be
cool for the Halloween funkos, if you like putting you know,
seasonal funko pop decoration more and I infamously put the
WandaVision ones up. I really wanted to get the Captain
America on the zombie cap but she said no. But

(39:25):
I'm like, oh by its secretly.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
Actually, it's funny you say that decorations because I have
a thing I think I may do this weekend so
my wife starts working in tomorrow. She's not happy, she's sad.
It's right around the corner. I was wondering if I
should surprise her and either decorated the house with spooky
stuff orts put a Christmas tree up.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
What do you think because last year you guys decorated
the Christmas tree with Halloween stuff. Right, Yeah, we did
I think put the Christmas tree up, because that's just
like it's the start, you know, and just put like
a couple of decorations and then like, hey, this weekend, you,
me and the kids are gonna start the Halloween stuff
on that.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
And then the house Costco has a lot of un
mansion now stuff.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
She loves mansions. Lose a lot of money this.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
Week mansion So I think I could do that before
just cheer up a little bit.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
There you go, look at a good husband. Points over there,
look at that, Kevin. Yes, I'm excited though, like I said,
something spooky to watch. We always need something fun and
spooky just to keep you entertained, keep you going because
you watch Hokus focus on a hundred times. And no,
we don't talk about hocus Pocus too on this podcast,
because you could watch Hube Halloween hull Be Halloween for
the Here's the thing, Kevin, I don't think Moore remembers

(40:32):
Hube Halloween, and I think because we talked about it
so much, I think I can convince her to watch
this Halloween season going on.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
I wish I had those AMC deals we can run
out here for like a hundred bucks because would.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
Run showings of you Be Halloween. I will pay five
hundred dollars for five showings of U Be Halloween.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
Like just me and you more. He's not here. It
gotna be nice to me now.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
Hood he went to go see that that scary movie
about the dogs and ghosts. Okay, that's the thing. It's
called good Boy. Look up the tree. It's your wife
probably like that movie.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
She's probably already seen any that's true.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
That's true. But Kevin, we're gonna switch it up and
do some fun stuff because Peacemaker Season two is officially
coming out this Thursday. Thursday Thursday, our friends at The
Hollywood Reporter did a fun list called the ten best
wrestlers turned actors, ranked ten to one, one being the best,
ten being good, not the worst, but good.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
And I'm scrolling to the bottom.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
Yeah go, thank you, thank you. It's a new segment.
I like to call hit or miss. So we're gonna
look at the list pretty much agree or disagree. At
the end of it, we're gonna say that list was
a hit or that list missed the mark. Essentially fun.
I'm funny.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
You've been very fun. I mentioned see because I can't.
I only think of like five right now off top
of my hands.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
All right, well, give me your five you have on
your head, and we'll see if they are on the list.
As a prediction wise easy one.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
Three The Rock, John Cena and Batista. Okay, trying to
think Edge because Ede was in PRIs Jackson Flash Year.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
M hm hmm, I don't.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
I just saw him, But don't think of somebody else.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
It does not have to be w W. Could be
any company.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
I can't think of.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Triple H could be on there. He did that all
those w oh I didn't even think of I was
thinking of the w W.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
He's also in an episode of The Hughles.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
Technically you can put Cody Rhodes because he was in
The Naked Gun.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
Yeah, that's true. Also, I remember it was apisode the
Flash to remember he was like its.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
True and Roman Reigns was in Hobbs and Shaw if
you infamously remember.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
Five.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
So let's go through the list. Kevin number ten, Andre
the Giant ten best wrestler turned actor, YEP and.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
Princess Brad is his claim to fame, I mean from
from from everything that's been told about him. If you
weren't in the business, he was a very nice person.
Of course in the business. He had to be on
the Giant because you know, it's a different in different world.
But yeah, Princess Bride is a classic. He was good
in it. He didn't have to be you know, damn

(43:06):
Dan Lewis in this movie. He had to be on
here the Giant. So I agree with this number. I'm
trying to think there's probably a couple of wrestlers better
than him, but I can't remember any move with the
other he was in.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
It's an iconic thing, you know, It's very like iconic
role and wrestler had it would be that you sure
actor wrestlers have any other roles, but do you remember
that unless you gotta drum up the memories, you know
a little bit exactly.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
But I agree with this one.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
All right, Well it's this one. We'll see if you
do or not. Jesse the body Ventura in The Predator
or Predator, not the Predators. Predator he was awesome and Predator.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
He's been in a few other things where he hasn't
been he was. He's also in The Running Man like
three Seconds, good in that too, But I mean he
kind of played the same person in all his movies,
but a Predator he was really really good. So I
agree with this one as well, just on the Predators.
And so by the way that if you look at
I'm looking at this thumbnail, the guy next to him,

(44:05):
what's what the bad guy in season three Black Light.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
He's pretty good? Pretty good? All right? Uh, this one
I'm kind of okay with. I mean, sure he was
good Impredator, but it was ensemble cast, so they kind
of everyone hit each other's weakness.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Is really everybody who's got f one fifty I can't
remember his name?

Speaker 1 (44:25):
One forty f one fifth Sam Elliott was not in
that movie.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
No, it was it was like, I can't remember the guy,
but he had to hit that girl voice like yeah,
I'm gonna get him.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
They gonna get him, don't worry, all right. Number eight
Kevin who we got at eight?

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Oh, Paul White. Actually I think Paul can go to ten.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
Paul White I don't think needs to be on this
list at all. AKA The Big Show. I mean, he
was good as Captain Insano where yea, it is true,
and he did dress up as Captain Insano in a
w for a time.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
But he's more of a good storyteller not a great actor.
You know what I mean. If you listen to his
podcast he's on, he tells great stories about his time
just being a giant in general. Yeah, but that's showing up.
It was terrible.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
Yeah, the Big Show Show, which is funny that that
paved the way for w W to be on Netflix. Also,
remember he is Big Santa in jingle all the way
when they have the Santa fight infamously, You're like, wait,
that's the Big Show. Yeah, that was a big show.
Was like super fit, Like yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:28):
But I would say he can go, he can go
up below under the Giant and Jesse.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
Big Show. Paul White brings up Kevin Nash. I don't
know if Kevin Nash will be on this list. But
Longest Yard infamously Longest Yard had a lot of wrestlers
in it actually, so basically yeah, it was that was
a time, all right. Number seven Hulk Hogan, Yeah, say
what you about the guy. But acting wise, he was

(45:57):
in Rocky three Suburban Commando, which had the under Taker
in at the same time, the only movie the Undertaker
was in even after that, No Holds Bar, Mister Nanny,
all those kind of like eighties early nineties movies that
New Line Cinema brings you Ho cogett In Blah Blah
and Gremlins too. Don't forget that as well. We talked
about that last week.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
I did actually love Cyberricmanal as a kids, one of faite
movies growing up. Actually I got that clip of again.
I think it was No holds barred when I got
picked up the guy from the car and he craft himself.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Dude, what's that smell?

Speaker 2 (46:31):
Dukeie like Duke Well, what a terrible actor.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Yeah, that was the movies of this time, So that
I get it, sure probably be lower my list, but
that's okay. Number six I predicted this one. Look at
that our boy, Kevin Nash baby all right.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Besides longest yard Predator and uh remember John clave Da Yeah,
and but he also super tight. I can't think of
anything else he's been in.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
He was in John Wade, the Magic Mike, He's in
The Punisher. He's like the tugboat sailor looking guy in
the first Punisher movie. And obviously Magic Mike. He's I
think it was like Tarzan and he was in I
think all those Magic Mike movies. Is just a supporting character,
so it worked out for him.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
It's actually good for him because he finds a way
to find the use his natural charisma to act, which
is kind of hard to do sometimes, but he doesn't
and he does it very well. Honestly, I was surprised.
I don't see him enough in another like I wouldn't say,
like lower budget Netflix shows. I feel like that could
be his.

Speaker 1 (47:38):
Bag, could be could be our next one. Kevin, you
think you know him? It is Adam Copeland a k
A Edge or Cope or whatever the hell he's going
by an ae W so stupid. Yeah, that's the whole thing. Obviously,
our main claimed the fame for him recently Percy Jackson Olympians.

(47:58):
But remember he was Adam Smasher in Arrow since that
was for one episode and then he went away and
never came back. But I think he was also on
He was on Vikings as well for twenty five episodes.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
I know it was that long. Actually, I remember I
got really in the Vikings on the Pandemic. Remember that,
Like the week I wrid Vikings, I kept talking about it.
I never finished the show though I got to his season.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
That's okay, that's okay. Yeah, I think it makes sense.
Probably would have him lower just because not a lot
of infamous roles. But you know, he's doing the dang,
he's doing the dang.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
Yeah. Another guy was a mental christmaer a bottom and
works from one screen like.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Kevinsh Kevin number four. This is more of an icon
than more of a breath of work, but the depth
of his work just kiss iconic.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Yeah, Rowdy Roddy Piper, who my favorite role yet actually
is is she was the name of the character. I
can't remember what it's called, but he's not. He's on
always on in Philadelphia as a as a Wrestler's.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
Hilarious and it was great. Uh, They Live is very
more of it is a cult classic movie, but you
know it's I'm all out of bubble gum, a kick
ass to bubble gum, a lot of bubble gum. That's
like an iconic quote. Keith David's also in that movie.
But that kind of was on the peak era of
you know, the rock and wrestling connection and all that
good stuff. So that's why I didn't think he should

(49:24):
be you know, middle of the list makes sense.

Speaker 2 (49:26):
Also was especially in a younger year, he was a
very attractive person. Somebody you put in a movie and oh,
who's that guy. I'll go see it.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
I'll see I'll go see number three. Kevin is well,
you can't see him. It's it's just I can't see him.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
Maybe I will say, of all the actors turned wrestler recently,
I feel like he's home his craft quicker.

Speaker 1 (49:49):
He's figured out what he's really good at. Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 2 (49:53):
Yeah. It took Did the Rock a while. It took
The Rock until Fast five to figure out, Okay, I'm
a big, strong guy. Uch things on. People love it
because he try a lot of different things. And he
wasn't like a bad serious actor, just that nobody took
him serious.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
Yeah. I mean, well, we do have an a twenty
four movie that comes out, The Smashing Machine, which we'll see.
We'll see it looks interesting. I'll give him that.

Speaker 2 (50:13):
But we'll get to him later. But John Cena, because
I think its first movie.

Speaker 1 (50:18):
Was Fred, the movie that was terrible.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Oh god, remember Fred was like Fred was like the
like the king of the.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
Internet for a while. That was a crazy time.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
But he had he had like a big part and
what was it was it the Emmy Sremer movie.

Speaker 1 (50:33):
He's like a drug yes, train Wreck was there. Also,
you can't discredit Kevin his breath of work as The
Marine in Twelve Rounds. Oh yeah, would set down this
path that ten years after those movies came out, he'd
actually be in good movies.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
I'll tell you what. When you watch The Marine or
Twelve Rounds, it makes you kind of appreciate that mid
two thousands Revenge, where like the guy was always an
ex thing, an ex army agent and ex marine agent
and everything.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Yeah, and ever since then, Yeah, he's been really good
at the sneaky comedy roles. He was in both Daddy's
Homes movies, Blockers, Bumblebee. He was the villain the suicide Squad,
the Fast Franchise, Vacation Friends, which is good. Argyle, he's
in it, Ricky Siniki, That's that's a pretty good movie,
as well as Jack Pott and then Heads a State

(51:24):
on Prime and then obviously we have Peace Banker.

Speaker 2 (51:28):
He had the best line in bumble Bee. He's like,
they're literally called to septicons. Why are we taking them seriously?

Speaker 3 (51:33):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Now, now, Kevin, two actors spots left. Who do you
think is number one? And who do you think is
number two? You haven't seen the list.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
I think number two is gonna be the Miss for Miss.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
And Miss oh okay, and and don't forget the challenges
in the real world.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
It also he's also hosting the new season of America
America's Gladiators. Sure, and number one will be Mercedes no
name for her role and Mandalorian.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
You're wrong on both accounts. Because number two is Dwayne
the Rock Johnson. It makes sense act wrestlers John Hollywood.
He's literally the definition of that. We already talked about
a smashing Machine coming out later this year. Black Adam
was okay, but obviously The Rock is kind of paved
the way for John Cena and Baptista uh to really

(52:25):
do what they can and have a life after wrestling,
which is cool.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
If they recut that movie and cut a dumb kit
out of it, maybe the movie makes more money. It's
better receive it. He was really annoying, but say what
you want about his acting ability. The Rock figured out
how to make money as an actor, and that's really
the goal. I mean, for a while he made Loney
just being a big, strong.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
And angry rampage Central Intelligence San Andreas Hercules Paint and
game Snitch, Paint a Game. All these movies just have
the Rock doing the same character in those movies.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
He was also in I remember, uh was it get
not get Smart, Get cool, be cool, be cool?

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Yes, he was funny and be cool as well. Yes,
he also doesn't get smart. That was when the Rock
had hair. That's a different area of the rock hair
of Rock and ball Rock Rock. That's true. But you
know he's kind of leaned in on. I mean, he's
really all over. I'm just looking at his breath. You
got Jumanji, Jungle Cruise, Super Pets, Black Adam, the Fast Franchise,
Red One, Milana to Smashing Machine. So uh wana the

(53:31):
live action on and yeah, the live action want it.
So not as bankable as he was maybe five years ago,
but still very very bankable. And then number one makes sense.
Dave Bautista Bautista Baby.

Speaker 2 (53:46):
Dave Batista is another person kind of like John Cena
who said, I don't because there's nothing in a Rock detriment.
He didn't want to be just a profitable actor. He
wanted to be a good actor. He may be the
best actor on his list.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
Oh yeah, especially working with very acclaimed directors and a
lot of his stuff. Obviously, he was Inspector the James
Bond movie, so you got that immediately. That's twenty fifteen,
as well as Guardians, which pretty much made him a
household name for everybody as Dras and made Drax the
character that everyone knows and vary associates out of the

(54:18):
Guardians franchise. Obviously, he's had a lot of a couple
of bit rolls here and there, but obviously with Endgame
he was Hotel Artemists. That's a pretty good movie. Don't
Sleep on Night. It seemed like a director DVD movie,
but it was pretty good. Blade Runner twenty forty nine,
he was in the Dennyville New Connection. Then he got
My Spy Army of the Dead. But then he pops
up in Dune. Then he's in Glass Onion and Knock

(54:40):
at the Cabin with m Night Shyamalan, and then I
believe he's in something else coming up. I forget.

Speaker 2 (54:49):
But yeah, yeah, this guy definitely didn't didn't just do
the route up. I'm gonna do director of DVD action movies,
like my favorite was Stone Cold. It stone holds out
on this list because he did nothing wide release. I
love Stone Cold, but he found his bitch and I'm
a host. I'm not an actor. He does great hosting stuff,
but he definitely took time to hone his his his craft.

(55:13):
Even lost a lot of muscle, so he kind of
he loses that type casting won a big muscley guy.
I really enjoyed the said a lot of things I
see him in I'm still I know he doesn't want
to be a big strong guy in there, but still casting.
I think because of his acting ability, he could portray
cradles so well.

Speaker 1 (55:30):
He could.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
Really, I really do think he could, and I honestly,
I don't think it's on with the MCU either.

Speaker 1 (55:35):
Honestly, I don't think so either. I think he'll come back,
but James Gunn has to be attached unfortunately. So that's
the only.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
I say that is because he was on the red
carp from Fantastic Four, like he was well seen.

Speaker 1 (55:47):
Yeah, I think that's more of a like, hell, yeah,
I don't want to I want to go to a
Marvel red carpet. It's one of the biggest red carpets
you can do.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
Hey, the food is good at the Left party, that's true,
that's true.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
Upcoming wise, a lot of movies don't really know too
much about. He will be in a movie with a
hell Manuel Sosa who did Blue Beetle. Uh, so that
would be probably pretty good. And he is uh will
be a character in the Legend of Aang the Last
Airbender animated movie we're getting soon too.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
I'm guessing Earthbender because a fire Bender voice.

Speaker 4 (56:25):
Burned.

Speaker 1 (56:26):
They got ah, but those are the ten best wrestlers
according to the Hollywood Reporter. Now, Kevin, is that a
hit or a miss for that list?

Speaker 2 (56:35):
Pretty strong hit. I mean maybe we reorganized it a
little bit. That's a pretty strong hit. I think the
ten they got all the ten?

Speaker 1 (56:42):
Yeah, I would I would say for sure too. Practically
at one point in the late two thousands, every w
W superstar was an actor in the Marine franchise, so.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
Miss Randy Orton. Somebody else too, was Jack Swager, lam
Jack Sswagger was.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Ted Debiassi Junior and Jack Swagger. Correct, you're right, Uh
technically got Steve Auston. He's popped up in a couple
of things too. You could do the entire roster of WCW.
Uh and ready to rumble as well.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
So that maybe we have matter to review that is
that bimple streaming anywhere because that movie is freaking.

Speaker 1 (57:18):
You looked that up. You looked that up. As I
tee up our next topic, I'll say it's a hit too.
Uh so that's good for that list. Good job, THR.
But our last minute, I know it's the title of
this podcast, and we left it for the last ten
minutes of the podcast. It is what it is. H
our Peacemaker Season two Last minute predictions, Kevin, is it
treaming anymore? To be we can watch it with a so, no,

(57:40):
we can't watch it anymore, Kevin. Peacemaker season two, first
episode comes out this Thursday. What any last minute predictions
or theories you got going into the show.

Speaker 2 (57:51):
I feel like this makes start before Superman and after
it as far as canon wise, m because from the
trailer to do't all a lot of reality jumping. What
you could ask, is it too early to be doing that?
But whatever, I don't care. It's dumb science fiction. Like
I said about Superman's dumb science fiction. He has a
he has a wormhole universe y because he does, so

(58:13):
I don't care about that. You could say that's too
larate to that, but I don't. I'm really interested to
see how they pan out this character because, uh, what's
his name.

Speaker 1 (58:22):
Chris something, Chris Smith, Chris First Smith.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
But he's a very complex character with emotions and feelings.
So I'm more excited about that end of it. But
as far as where it goes with the cannon of
a DCU, I'm excited. I've heard there will be a
lot of different cameos in this in this series. I'm
excited to see who that is. I do think we'll
see David Kornswet a Superman at some point, maybe him

(58:47):
watching him do something, and it's kind of like just
like footage from the movie put into the show. But
I think I basically him in it as well, because
David Kornswett is not big enough to say no yet
I want to say so, it's.

Speaker 1 (58:59):
Like I kind of do whatever you really want me to.
You got me going, you got me a big role. Yeah,
I think this will We will definitely flesh out the
cast more a lot on this one because the first
season was very heavy on Peacemaker. But I do think
you'll lean heavier on in a little bit of Leota
out of Ayo because she was Waller's daughter. I think

(59:20):
you lean more a little bit on vigilante. I thought
Freddy Stroma kind of killed it in that first season
and it was a good We at first were like, oh,
this is weirdest, complete opposite of what it was in Arrow,
but it worked. But him and then Economos and Hardcore.
I think it would be cool to expand because I
think when a Peacemaker season one came out, peace Maker

(59:43):
twenty one, two twenty two, Okay, now hold on, here's
my thing, Black Adam came out after this movie. And
remember Hardcore is in that movie. So granted, I know
the dc you uh in DCEU at the time was
playing playing fastball with everything, but it'd be interesting to see, like,

(01:00:07):
is our group, is our Twelfth Street kids whatever we're
calling them, do they have lives outside of that? Because
would I explain her going to do a Black Adam
thing for a hot second or not? Interesting thing to
note and just to remember you're like, oh, yeah, it
has been three years since this show came out originally. Yeah,
I do think the Rick Flax senior we see in
this will I'm going to say not be the same

(01:00:29):
Rick flag senior in the current DCU. I still stand
by that we are gonna end with the last episode
this season of them fully committing like to the DCU,
of them jumping in through the door and then door
blowing up behind them. Can't go back stuck in the DCU.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
The Rick Flagg Senior in Tuberman was a lot more resolved.
I feel like this one will be angry.

Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
Yeah, and that that could be stylistic. I mean, Rick
Flagg Senior wasn't really in Superman a lot. It's kind
of like the heads and tail of that movie. But
this is where you kind of flesh those things out
because you think of it, Superman's are big comic and
Peacemaker is a bigger comic. But it's really flesh in
the world out more than you know, driving the story
forward for the DCU for the foreseeable future. It is

(01:01:13):
cool and interesting. Michael Rooker is playing a different character,
so we'll probably address that because he was some random
savant or something in the Suicide Squad, So it's potentially
the one thing that doesn't carry over from the Suicide Squad.
I do hope they acknowledged the Suicide Squad just because

(01:01:34):
James Gunn has said anything that's in the here's what
you missed starting with episode one, that will be Cannon
to the DCU. So show me Harley, show me Joel
Kinneman's Rick Flagg Junior, and I'm not great. I can
now go watch the Suicide Squad and be like that's Cannon.
Opdris Elba's foots in there, so that's canon. Oh there's
there's Polka dot Man, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Say also to like but like doors open for him
to return.

Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
Basically, I think easily as well, same thing as David
Desmalcchin as Polka dot Man. Just make up some random
thing as James Gunn does. Of he all he needed
was one Polka dot and he could revive or some
ish like that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
You know, that's just a good point, muscle. I want
to see any more wrestlers in this wrest second. Any
more wrestlers kind of show up in this would be
interesting as well, because just kind of just to push
out the because I mean, you need big, big bodies
for villains for him to fight, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (01:02:28):
That is true. I do think in the DCU ver
whatever alternate version, because you don't know if that is
the DCU version or not, we'll see John Cena, his
brother grown up, so we'll get to see what that
dichotomy is. Because and because Peacepacker season one was a
while ago, his brother died and I was the whole
dynamic with his dad. We also, based on the first trailer,

(01:02:51):
we're getting Guy Gardner, we're getting Hawk Girl, we're getting
Maxwell Lord. So to see what those connections are, what
version of them they are, like I say, said to
see you and all that good stuff will be that
the whole door, like the whole door dynamic of he
has doors the infinite worlds throws an interesting conundrum into things,
So we'll see where we go with that.

Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
Yeah, and I do kind of think it'll drive the
layman away from it until reviews come on for it
and people say, no.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
It's fine, we'll bring it right back to it. Well,
the first five episodes, I've heard good things. I think
they're season two. Uh, the ten episodes for season two,
so it's not bad. I need to figure out how
to oh sorry, eight eight episodes. That's confusing.

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
Well, thanks, fine, I guess our long episodes. I can't
really too be too mad about it. But yeah, I'm
really excited for this. I'm not excited again, I said,
But I'm not excited and excited for the opening dance
because I listened to the song.

Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
They you just need to dance, and they're gonna see
it on TikTok for the next two months. I guess
I want to see a lot of Peacemakers this Halloween.
We didn't get it. I don't think we've had any
Halloween really because it really like they didn't really promote
the costume that much. I feel like this is the
time Warner Brothers promote that costume to buy. I think

(01:04:13):
that helmet is rough rough to Yah, you just get
the half helmet. You don't need the full helmet.

Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
Get the half.

Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
Oh, Target has it, Kevin, Really, I don't know that's
the best place to get it. For sure.

Speaker 2 (01:04:28):
Spirit Halloween can get it.

Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
No, Spirit Halloween also has it. It looks cheapy, but
they got it.

Speaker 2 (01:04:35):
Also, did you hear coming to some areas this this holiday?
Spirit of Christmas?

Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
I mean it sounds like you all over it, baby.
Any other predictions, keV. Though, for Peacemaker season two, I
think Superman shows up at the end. I think because
if you had the Justice League at the end of
the first one, it would make sense.

Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
Well, I think I'll also get closure on Waller because
they didn't announce that Waller series of a while ago.
Wallace hard to say, Well, we'll get closure on that,
and I really still hope. And what's her name, Viola,
Viola Davis's playner.

Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
Yeah, anybody I believe she is. I'll definitely tee up
whatever that Wallar show is because she wasn't Creature Commandos.
So that's that's Canada to d Yeah, we cast.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
I only accept Eh Pounder's other persons. I want that,
damn it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
Yeah. I think it's gonna be a good time. If anything,
we're kind of a mini drought right now. Then we
get peace Maker and then we get Marvel Zombies, and
those are shows that carry us into Halloween spooky season,
which is great.

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
Give you seasons.

Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
Run around the corner, Ran around the corner, baby, But
let us know your opinions, let us know your thoughts
and predictions. Are you a hype for Peacemaker season two.

so you'll have some time because episodes come out on Thursday,
so we lucked out there to a degree, so you

(01:06:01):
get a little fun episode with us on Wednesday's episode
and then Monday peace Maker spoilers.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
Don't worry, baby, Maybe we're also doing a little interview
off the next two Alien aliens as well.

Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
Yes, that also is going on too, so we got
it's spooky. Usually spooky season was indicated by when what
we do in the Shadows came back, and that's gone
now unfortunately, so Alien Earth will do it's a fice.

Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
I guess Alien we'll hopefully scratch that itch.

Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
Hopefully hopefully, uh, but let us know your thoughts and
