Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome back to the nerding news you need to know
throughout the week on iHeart Radio and bad Cat services
around the world. Because my name's Hoodey and I'm Kevin,
you're officially listening to this prediction filled episode of What
Kevin Crisis on Infinite O.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's cold outside.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
It's real cold. It's going to get colder. Is this
annoying about you tomorrow, Kevin or no.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Baltimore is always have to rain snow line, So it
depends on what part of the city you're in, what
coli you're in, Like, if you're up north, like in
bel Air, it will probably snow. If you're in a
city near me, it's not. It's gonna rain and beating
it for two hours.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
We got a jam packed show for you today because
we are making our Game Award predictions today. We're one
week away from the award show, so it makes more
sense to do it now instead of the episode before
than it immediately gets spoiled if you watch the Game Awards.
So we're doing it the week earlier this year.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
It makes me a little more sense because usually it's like, oh, yeah,
I was wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I was wrong. Literally four hours after I made the prediction.
That's okay. We're also going to talk about Five Nights
of Freddie's that's where you want to be the second
one because your boy saw it so well, see if
it's lived up to the hype or if it's a
wait till it's back on Peacock again, which the first
one was for me.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
So yeah, first of all, I don't think I remember
you see the first one of you. I didn't go
see either one of them now because I.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Think it came out the same time. I think it
was like Christmas time, like I don't watch Yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Kind of like in the vibe of Cocaine Bear. But
for some reason, I guess it's not catching that high.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
I think it's higher. You just don't realize it because
you're not in the audience because your daughter is obsessed
with Poppy's play time or whatever, Slappy's play time over there.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
That was two years ago. We moved on. We've jumped concentrations.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
For now your youngest Now I'm like, no, we have
to see the movie. Now. We've gone full cycle, full cycle,
full cycle. And we're gonna talk about a Batman to
rumored casting might be confirmed, I don't know, and it's
already been established who they'll probably play, which is like, hmm,
I don't know how I feel about that, but we'll

(02:19):
find out more today's crisis.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
We will find out. But pretty good actress, thought.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Pretty good actress, but she's jumping ship or actor or
actor or pet actor? Do you think about that? We
don't have a lot of famous ones but right nowadays,
but you know what, who knows?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I actually learned this listen to a podcast. There's a
certain raven that was in a Wizard of Oz apparently,
and this this specific raven has been in like seventeen
movies something like that.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
It's still alive.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
No, it's dead.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Okay, So I was like what but it.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Was like called Ricky the Raven. It was in like
seven or eight movies.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Like I mean, yeah, I bet in the nineteen thirty
whenever that movie record in nineteen thirties or whatever, like yeah,
it was like, hey, bring the raven to the MGM
lot number two or bringing number four, bringing number six?
I agree, who's the raven in the last picture? Bring
it over here? Twenty five cents? Is they don't they

(03:15):
don't ask for dividends at the end. Yes, all they
want is the bird seat. He's not as a good question.
Hold on, let me look at this animal actor. Our
animal actors part of the sag after part of sag after.
That'd be interesting. Animal actors can work on sag after set.
They have to be in the union. Wow.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Wow, that's that means talking about this, that means the
whale from Free Willie wasn't sag after.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
So what happens is while animals themselves do not join
the union, their owners or trainers have to be compensated
under sag after agreements. That's an interesting conundrum right there.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
It was Jimmy the Raven, by the way, and he
was over in and over a thousand films from the
nineteen thirties and nineteen fifties.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
What a life? What that raven is richer than you
and I Kevin? About that.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Ravens kiss don't have to work a day? L good?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Good for them? Good for them? Well, we already got
you a fun fact to start off to fun fast
start with the podcast Bad Animals are Union strong and
there's a raider who's a millionaire. But you can see
all this and more infinite underscore pods on the Instagram.
Or are the X go and give it to you

We would also like, we'll take a free sub but
you know, you know, I've only.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Paid for Jersey Mics once in my entire life.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I don't tell you what there. I have never either,
because more if we go, it's not work.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
So actually it was in the in the in the
last year because Lee had wanted the grilled cheese from there.
I was like, I don't want to go to Jersey
Mikes for lunch. I'm not ninety what.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Is Sometimes it hits, sometimes it hits.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I guess so it wasn't that. That's great? That can
make it at home.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Uh. Before we get into the actual part of the podcast,
friendly reminder. If you do participate in a Spotify or

(05:46):

It's fun time.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
What was happening that I was any drug? It was
mostly use emoji. That was kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Yeah, man, Kevin shake fist That cloud most used the
mooji on the on the podcast overall. Kevin, I actually
saw that was the number one.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I sink I faced a lot of clouds. I get
upset because I mean, we'll get into it because we
STI don't have a Batman whatever.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
That's fine one day, one day, but let's get on
into it. We start the podcast properly. It is something
we like to call what Shit Doing, where we talk
about the shows and movies we've been watching, the games
we've been playing, the lives we've been living. Because it
is Thursday, yep, boy gets to go first. Happy to
say I've continued the hot streak of winning at the

(06:27):
office holiday party.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Yeah, I saw that. I was a little jealous. Not
gonna lie because I only won once. I just want
some Alexas well.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
You know, hey, do you still have those Alexas? Are
they gone? They don't right here?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Actually it still works, always listening, always listening.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
But yeah, you boy won five hundred dollars and gift
cards Visa gift cards. So that was fun to figure
out how to do that. But I won that. Shelby
Sauce on the Morning Show won a free trip for two.
She gets picked the spot, which is great. And Eric
won twenty five hundred dollars. Uh, And I taught him
how the trick of the trader to turn those gift
cards and Amazon credit instead. So we'll see what he

(07:03):
wants to.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Do with that, I think, I say, And I promptly
robbed him for said twenty five hundred dollars. Now I
have three thousand.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Now I have three thousand dollars. Thank you, but the
gift cards are quickly gone away because your boy is
using it for Disney, so they have been converted into
Disney gift cards.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
At Lance, I used to think of you down to
Disney user for spending money or use.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
It pretty much, I think more and I have realized
like the BJ Sam's Club hack is you said you
saved twenty five bucks, but hey, that's twenty five bucks.
So we bought another five hundred gift cards, like for
food wise because you can use it for food at
the parks. Oh yeah, we're gonna be spending that much.
So like if you just Ogu's canteena alone, two drinks

(07:42):
for two people is eighty dollars.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
So I mean for our twenty twenty what was that
not not the one when we went after after the
pandemic was over. That that trip we went on, my
wife bought two thirty dollars gift cards every pay period
for a year.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
And a half. That way credit cards can rest that week.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
You know, we still actually have like two or three left.
I mean it's only like thirty forty bucks on each
one of them, but we still have.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
One of these days we want to treat ourselves to
a shirt at the Disney store. We can't.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
When we get on this boat, hopefully and in May,
we'll use it then because they lasted.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
The only thing surpicing thing about Disney gift cards and
this is a pro tip, they don't work on Disney
Plus because Disney Plus has its own gift card. So
just no, there's a separation. So if you're trying to
buy something for either theme parks or for Disney Plus,
they're two separate ones. So don't confuse them because they
don't cross work.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Because like, man, if you think it's crazy and Disney
stores in the park, get on that boat, people go
crazy for that stuff, like crazy.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
On Disney cruises, there's a side topic border than anything.
Do they do the same thing normal cruises do where
they do, Oh, here's a jewelry sale or here's a
cigar sale in the main lobby, Like this is weird.
This is not Disney.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Well, Disney is more. It's more jewelry and clothes based
and like uh like pictures and like you get glammed
up on all that kind of stuff. They do the
same sales. I never understood buying jewelry on a boat
because I'll be afraid, like again, somebody would take it
from me and I would I ever seen them again,
you know. But apparently you can buy Jewely on a cruise,
any cruise, and I can hold it for you till
the end of the end of the end of the sailing.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
And that is a good question for Andy Drogron and
the chat Twitch, dot tv, slash Infantmou Square POD's Kevin
Does Disney Do Disney cruises have casinos on them? They
do not, So none of them have casinos on them.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
None of them have casinos. The casinos are kind of
replaced with.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
A larger than usual gaming area.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
And also because they have they have free they have
three doesn't need killed areas, one for like basically daycare
for like babies. Then they have the ones from three
like to nine years old. Doesn they have another one
for kids like U ten to twelve, and another one
for kids like thirteen or sixteen. So that's three doesn't
kids kids areas, And that's kind of what takes place
for the casino. And but but they do have like

(09:56):
adults only clubs where like it's like a whiskey bar
and somebody's.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Piano on a man bar.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, you don't have but you can't gamble,
but you can get away from the cads.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
You'll still spend money though, don't worry that money will
go somewhere.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
You still spend money.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
But besides that, I caught up on it Welcome to Day.
It's been pretty good. Essentially. It's an a prequel series
in case you haven't watched it yet. They it looks
like the last two episodes that are coming out will
delve deeper into penny Wise and it and how it
became Pennywise the Clown, which is kind of cool. Ki
Cass is great and it it really is we kind

(10:33):
of I think I talked about when it first started.
If you love Lovecraft country, it's that. But now it's
got an ip with Stephen King's it so, which is dope.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
I watched a little bit of my watch. He's watching him.
I got home from work yesterday, yesterday, day before yesterday.
I didn't realize that one of the guys in the army,
like it's a old famous mind star, Like, oh, that's
a dude from Vine. I remember him.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
He got shot in yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
but yeah, and it's really cool. The connections that there's
a big connection with Shining, which is cool, and there's
there's sot nods everything else. But if they do a
season two, I don't know if they will arnor not.
I would assume they delve deeper into all that type
of stuff.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I will say that, Uh, I think the Shining is
low key. One of the scariest movies.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Doctor Sleep, Don't sleep on Doctor Sleep. That's a good one.
That that movie was. When I had Doctor Sleep, which
is the sequel, uh, that I never watched. It was
always on the HBO max Q and I finally watched
it on like a Plane. I was like, this is great.
Mike Flannagan killed it.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
It's something about that final shot of the Shining where
you see him in the in the like the dinner party,
and it's like, wait a minute, what so.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Iconic that they redid the whole thing and ready Player won?
And we thought that was the best part of that movie.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Play one was great.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
That one scene was great for sure, for sure. Uh.
And then uh, I don't think I mentioned this yet more.
And I were looking for a new show, and obviously
it's stopped now because it's all Christmas movies all the
time now. We're starting Christmapher Cranks tonight, Thank Kevin. But
we just finished the first season of Once Upon a Time,
which has been an interesting It has been an interesting ride.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
That is an interesting series because I think it started
off one way and then it was like, no, screw,
it was just in all the movies the end of it.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
That's been the vibe, and it is funny of going
to a show that because I think it started and
don't quote me, probably like twenty ten to twenty eleven.
We're in the model of oh, there's eight episodes a season.
At most the episodes are an hour long or whatever,
forty minutes. This is twenty two episodes forty to forty
five minutes each episode because of the commercials, and a lot
of those episodes were just like circling, circling circle and

(12:41):
then the back three oh action action action, here's everything
you wanted.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Because I remember, I remember, I don't know what season
it was, but I remember it was a big deal.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Elsa comes too much, Yeah, and like so I know
a couple of things. I know, like move On is
in there's a lot of Disney characters they're trapped in In
case you didn't know, they get under a curse source
spell by the Evil Queen the Wicked which evil Queen
It's Disney and then they turned into normal people. But
they're trapped away. But things change once a bounty hunter

(13:11):
turned sheriff comes to town. Uh. And it's been interesting.
There's some characters like I don't care anymore, please just
move on from them, but it is interesting. Twenty eleven
Uh Fever Dream Uh. Jamie Dornan aka Mister Gray from
Definity Shades Gray and Sebastian's stand this season as before

(13:32):
they took off, which is great.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
It's always fun to see actors before they were like
hot names basically because I'll say I'll talk about but
it's always funy to see U. I remember them when
before the big thing.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I remember you were the Mad Hatter before you were
the Winter Soldier.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
He was an episode of what was that show on
c W Uh every Wood? I think it was on
Everyone Wants To Twice too.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Sure. Sebastian Stand was in Hot Top Time Machine too.
It was underrated movie by the way, the second one
not so much the first.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
The first one that actual kind of a little bit
of a tear drinker there.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
That's why I've been doing, Kevin, what have you been doing?
Good there?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Besides for some reason, that's back into the world Assassin's
Creed Shadows and having fun with it, playing, playing that.
I've officially started my Scrubs we watch.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
There you go. It's on Hulu now so you can properly. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I also own all the DVDs because I am a
huge Scrubs and Scrubs is my friends basically, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Now, First, like the Hulu version, Sorry, is it like
upreds or is it still like boxy looking boxing?

Speaker 2 (14:39):
It's still box It's a little bit clearer. But the
issue I have with watching it on a Hulu and
not just Hulu, but I think it's on Peacock as well.
It's on a bunch of different shoes right now is
some of the songs Bill aren't picked back in the day.
For those they aren't in the string Bird Rights fan
out form, so there's new songs. But some of the
songs were so poignant, perfect that I gotta.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Watch some v how to Save a Life still in there.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
I haven't gotten to that, okay, but you guys episode
because that is the Scrub song.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
That was the that episode man is heartbreaking, Oh my gosh,
but starting that and again, like you said, there's an
episode in season one, Ryan Ynolds, it's like before.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
It's before any days.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
It's post Van Wilder, but still before like even like
the proposal, the proposal he was in with that, the
bullet before that, it's before the other movie he did
with when he came home for Christmas. Man, Yeah, Just
Friends is great. I didn't need to watch actually, but yeah,
I'm going through that again. I don't necessarily need to

(15:47):
because like I've watched this series so many times back
back and forth before streaming, like literally like one of
my things was like because I met, I don't have
any friends, but I'm growing up and not growing up
but in my in my early twenties. So I like
to say, this is my bedroom like the only hand
to watch TV. So I was like, I want to
how fast I can get through Scrubs on one weekend.
So I would like, just put on Scrubs I got
home from work on Friday, see how far I would

(16:08):
get before Sunday before I to go see for work.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Kevin, you know what, I just finished Chad Powers, which
was pretty good. Actually on Hulu and it's only six
episodes and just got renewed for a second season. I
think I'm gonna join you on this Scrubs rewatch journey
as my like sort of passive get home lunch show. Yeah,
I'm gonna do that.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I can wait for you, because I said, I just
spend season one, so I can wait for you to get.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
To Sorry, give me a week. I'll probably catch quick.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Easy watch a twenty. But yeah, I just really love
the love the show. It's funny when you spend so
much time kind of like the Office too or Parks
and rereg well, you spend so much time with these
characters you literally like, I know I know JD, I
know Turk, I know Carla, doctor Cox, I know them,
know them. So it's funny going back through it now
in my adult years because now I'm where Turk would

(16:56):
have been towards the end of Scrubs, like as far
as age why and kid wise, like Turk hat two girls,
I have to I have two girls, Turks Bowld. I'm bold,
like you know, even to the point Turk's wife's older
than him. My life's older than me. So it's it's
weird how I've kind of became Turk a little bit.
Didn't mean to, but it kind of became Turk.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
And with the new version that comes out next year,
everyone's kind of confirmed accept the janitor, right as I
forget what the janitor's name is. He was also in
the He's a Dad in the middle. He's the only
one that's not been confirmed to come back, right. I
gotta feel like he's going to be the credit scene,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Like everybody's expecting it, but I feel like if they
don't announce it and he just shows up and maybe
the last episode of the season is going to be perfect.
It's gonna be so good. I think the only person
that hasn't been confirmed yet is I don't think anybody
from season nine is coming back at all. Doctor Kelsa
is also the other but after dead, No he's not.
He's still alive, but he's he is. He's he's kind

(17:56):
of like mister Feenie. He's way hey, just all right.
So that's a cameo. Ken j Ken Jenkins coming for
one episode like our Great Love. Yeah, yeah, you know
you don't need him every episode because he is he's
way up there, Like he actually did an episode of
Fake Doom's Real Friends, like in the first season of that,
and you could hear it like oh and they even
even like Zach Braff said his nephew had set up
set up for him, but I don't know what he's doing,

(18:18):
so he had set up for him. Talk here, Grandpa,
I look right there. That's that's where they are. Yeah,
but going through that excited to get excited and sad
to go through because, like you know, there's a lot
of things like there's a there's a what I go
wrong with the free episode that's when Laverne died like this,
it's a lot of things like I'm not really ready
to go through again.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
But we'll go through it together, Kevin, we'll go.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Through Also, like you said, we are in Christmas movie
mode now. We watched Home Alone two on Monday night,
watched ELF Tuesday night. Last night we watched Christas Vacation.
So we're going through him pretty good. I think I've
may try to do this tonight. Canny kan Laneaddie Murphy
could be to watch Eddi Murphy documentary.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
My suggestion for you, just because I do what to
watch every week on Socials is there's a new movie
coming out. I think it's out now or it's out tomorrow.
It's called The Secret Santa or My My Secret Santa.
It's Missus doubt fire, but with Santa. It's on Netflix.
It looks actually pretty decent, as like a holiday rom
com on Netflix.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Okay, I can get down with that, because there was
that one also of one. I kind of want to
see The Christmas Christmas Heist. It looks stupid, but it
looks like a stupid.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Fun And we have a heist movie and we are
in our in our like basically our phone, our family
phone time.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
We'll just put on the Samsung Extra Holiday Hallmark channel.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
Have a good see the movies.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
The movies about you know, going back to your hometown
and finding the hot guy who owns his own ice
sculpture shop, because that's how you make money year around,
to do ice sculptures all year whatever. So that's always
fun to look up and see. Okay, yep, they're going
they're going to those kids are going to make it.
She's she's leaving her busy business job and moving back home.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
They'll do it. They'll do it together.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
That's all I've been doing it.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
All right. Well, let's get on into it. It's time.
It's time.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
No.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
No, first things first, a summers. We have to talk
about five Nights at Freddy Dude, So it's just a
quick non spoilery review. I changed my mind for five

(20:26):
Nights at Freddy's, too chang and yeah, uh literally for
five Nights of Freddy because the movie comes out this weekend.
Like we said, literally like ten minutes ago. Why is
a scary movie coming out during Christmas? That don't makes sense?
You know what?

Speaker 2 (20:40):
It's funny you say that because I was listening to Uh,
I think it's what Christmas is. But it's the one
when they say they'll be scary ghost stories and tale.
Why are you telling ghost stories on Christmas around the fire?
That's weird to me. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
The only horror movie that could come out and made
sense would be Crampus, which it did do that, And
there there is a Crampis movie, So we're looking for
a switch up on your holiday movies. There's Crampus.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
So it's also a Crampus cameo in Red One if
you want to see.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
That different of a Crampus though it's a lot. Yeah,
Red One, I liken't care, uh speaking of did you
see that Brendan Fraser into the Rock are doing the
actors on actors a little like interview thing this year.
I'm excited for that talk about the Scorpion King and
the Mummy.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
That'd be really quolt like I want to see that,
especially with like yeah, like I said, a Scorpionking connects.
Let me kind of cool. I'm gonna tell me, tell
me about it, tell me about it.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Uh yeah, Five Nights and Ready's two comes out this week.
Your boy saw it with one mister Eric V. He
brought his son Max, and we love our theater reviews.
There are a lot of kids at this movie, but
it is PG thirteen, But I kind of think it's
gone a little viral for a lot of the actors saying, oh,
did did it get the R rating? Or did it
make the PG thirteen version? So I assume it might

(21:56):
be worth waiting till there's an unrated version of this movie,
because that'll probably be want the movie would actually be.
Because it's a lot I will say a lot of
jump scares a little too much, and I think the
movie was a little loud theater for these jump scares
because it was like, oh, it's loud.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
So it was literally just jarringly loud, and not like
loud in the narrative stand it was literally loud, just.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Every time with a jump scare. I will tell you
Eric's son, Max, who is in the second grade, I believe,
or third grade and eight in what hell is your daughter?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Max is four? Okus, you're four months older than Leah.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yes, okay, we'll go with that. Do that math. Max
did not want to stay ten minutes in the movie.
So the Eric and Max left ten minutes in this movie,
which is fine. It's still okay, but let that be
a litmus test for you. I will say it's an
okay movie. If you watch the first five Nights at Freddy,
it's pretty much the same. I think it delves deeper

(22:58):
into the lower So if you do like the lower
and mystery of the Five Nights of Freddy's games, if
you watched the game Theory or a Matt pat video
from back in the day, you know, ten years ago,
you'll like this movie because there's a lot of Easter
eggs and call outs, and there are a lot more
Five Nights of Freddy fans are well versed in it.
More compared to you or I are that when a
big twist happened, like, oh, that's that twist they're doing

(23:20):
it now.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Okay, I'll only played in the game exactly twice, so.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Yeah, I think I played it once. There is a
big homage to I Believe the second Five Nights of
Freddy's video game, which is funny. Nintendo Mike does say, yeah,
it's deep. The lower is very deep. So I think
if you like Five Nights of Freddy's, if you play
all the games, or you watch all YouTube videos, you'll
love this movie. If not, you'll probably be like, oh,

(23:44):
it's okay. Josh Hutcherson does the best with what he can.
McKenna Grace is in there for like five minutes, then
it's gone immediately. Nintendo Mike says he used to watch
those videos and lost track and got completely confused. Yeah.
I think they're kind of doing the same thing with
these movies. So you do have to pay attention if
you want to keep up with the Lord and everything.

(24:05):
But the movie does end very abruptly. The third act
isn't really there at all. Things just kind of get
wrapped up and set up for a third movie, so
much so that the movie ends in the end credit
kind of resolves the movie more so than the movie
resolving before the end credit.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
You know, I feel like a lot of movies are
done it now. On the days were like they don't
even whether good or bad. It's not good endings anymore.
It's like, okay, we're done.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Like this one was really Hey, i'll spoil it. Someone
gets possessed. That's it, Okay, Okay, see you next time,
next time. I think there is a third one in development.
I think the Ratten Tomatoes. I think it just came out.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
I have it right here. Actually it is holding strong
at fourteen.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Well so not good. The first one I think was
out of thirty six. I think at one point. I
don't know if it is now still. But hey, I.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Always have to say, this doesn't mean the movie is
fourteen saying good. It means if you talk to ten people,
one point four of them will like it, in the
other nine point three point three won't.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
As a movie, it's not the best. I mean, I
would give it probably like a six out of ten pizzas,
which Cruss is kind of lower. Lower for us. We
really don't go below five. That was real bad. I
do appreciate though, the what the Jim Henson Company did
with all the animatronics, because it's it's like, my god,

(25:31):
like they did this like you thought Sweets was revolutionary
for the Muppets. No, this is a whole other level.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
What did we give Morbius back in the day?

Speaker 1 (25:41):
That might be in a four?

Speaker 2 (25:42):
I think wow, because like you said, we're very generous
of our movie ratings. We just want people to go
enjoy them.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Tron I think might have been a five. Actually, I
think that might have been the lower one this year,
same actor, this pattern interesting e Skeletor Masters of the Universe. Hmmm,
not good, not a good uh.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
I honestly don't think that movie is gonna do well
because I don't know if he Man is still the
thing people want to see.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
It was used to sell toys, and I think, yeah,
Transformers has had had its time. He Man. I think
He Man has to be a comedy. If it's not
a comedy, I'm gonna care about when can.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Look at those toys cartoons selling toys stuff is like
the Turtles has transcended time even to a degree. Transformances
send the time he Man had an era and then
went away and it never came back.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
In the ThunderCats same thing. You know, ThunderCats had its
era not so much anymore. Now we want lightsabers and guns,
not swords. Yeah, I mean at this point Star Wars,
I'm glad that there at least think coming out next
year because they are edging towards that territory as well.
But overall, I would say, probably wait for this movie

(26:53):
for trying to save your money and pick a movie.
Watch the holidays. Uh, probably go see Avatars that I
haven't seen yet, But I mean, I think it's probably
worth saving the money from five Nights to go by
the three D Dolby for Avatar.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
So yeah, Avatar Reaction with Catch came out this week
as well, and it's been one of those things a
lot of people have said, if you like Avatar, to
go love this movie. If you're not been into the
last two, you're probably not gonna like this one. I
did hear some people say that this is their favorite
out of the three, So I'm interrued to see this
is the one I've been most excited for. I'll say
that Way of Water I wasn't too excited aboutfore the

(27:29):
first one. I thought it looked cool, but I never
got a chance to go actually go see it. This
one actually goes like it. They actually have a reason
to be upset, So I kind of like that.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Yes, but the movie comes out this weekend. Hey, if
you like five nights, go see it. If not, we
it's on Peacock probab Will in February. Let's face it.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Yeah, Shoot, Merry Christmas, here you go.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
No, maybe January, Happy MLK Day, here you go. But talking,
let's stay in movies before you switched in the world
of gaming, The Batman Part two, number two, whatever the
hell you want to call it. Uh, it's still a thing,

(28:10):
and it's still happening maybe in twenty twenty seven. But
we now know a former MCU actress might be making
the jump to PLAY to be in the movie, which
does puzzle me of is the movie actually filming or
not if they're still talking about casting, because Scarlett Johanson
could be making the jump to DC. Let's face it,

(28:34):
she's kind of done with MCU, so it kind of
makes sense she did. Yeah, I mean, she got her movie.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
She's done. She's either dead or in the soulstone. Either way,
're not exploring that storyline anymore.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Yeah, but a corner of our friends the deadline. Scarlett Jansen,
you know Black Widows us in Jassic World this year,
which that was a low one too stupid movie. Yeah,
a lot of low ones were remembering. Is currently surgery
in the rumor for a role for the Batman sequel.
No word on what character it will be, but apparently

(29:09):
she Matt Reeves have reached final negotiations for her character Kevin.
Based on the Batman Part one. Who do you think
Scarlett Johanson should play.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
I think it's easy to need drinkers say she's gonna
be poison ivy, But given what happened, not only in Batman,
also in the Penguin, it's still kind of mysterious to
see to know what Batman is or who is this guy?
So I think they could somehow introduce Vicky Vale.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Oh that's actually see. I think everyone's been leaning on
the villain routes, and I think, yeah, exact, Actually that's
pretty smart to do a supporting character oute more than anything.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Because he just showed up, like I think it was,
been doing it for like six months in the first
Batman and so he's fairly new. And then here's this
guy who's saved a bunch of people at Gotham Stadium
him and he's getting people hope and tell people get
on the helicopters to be saved. They don't tell him
know who he is. So I feel like maybe a
stop out of this movie is depressed trying to get
an interview with with the Batman, and the one one

(30:11):
on the story is going to be scuttrol Hanson's aka
the Key Veil. That's that's why, that's what I would
like to see.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Anyway, And it could be you know, we've seen with
mostly a lot of the nineties Batman movies. He was like,
here is Bicky Veil and here now here is just
some random female character. You don't need to know what
they of doctor. Finally enough, I didn't realize this. Robert
Pattinson is thirty nine, Scarlett Johanson's forty one, so it's
pretty even on the age for the actual romantic interest

(30:36):
with each other.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
And I believe according to this article, u Zoy Kravis
is not going to return a Catwoman in this one.
Hope she comes back in the future because that on
the stream chemistry was undeniable that first one. But it
also going to add to the to the you know,
Batman is kind of a low key man who if
you want to read the comics, you're kind of gonna

(30:58):
add to that, to the the never ending love triangle
of people that he kind of falls for.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Yeah, I think obviously, Bill. I think it is actually
a really great casting choice. I think the immediate one
was everyone thought Poison Ivy just because I think you
can really do Harley Quinn again. I think Margaret Robbie's
version still superior. Lady Gaga was there, it was okay,
it was it was a better part of the Joker

(31:25):
for Joker, let's face it. So I think they'll avoid
Harley Quinn. I she can't beat Talia, I'll go. I
think you can't do that anymore yet.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
But I would love to see a scholar Johansson fem
fatall with dark. I don't think I've ever seen her
of dark hair like that. Likes that is true. That
that's a good that's good. Another one another other good one.
Because there are rumors that this is these next two.
I want to deal a lot more with the League
of Shadows in the Court of Owls.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
And it could be a quarter of Owl's villain you know,
it doesn't have to be an actually like named villain
and just she worked for the Court of Owls in
some for me, you.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Know exactly, just be hey, I'm Mary quarter of Ols.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
I'm Mary al damnit. This is my Court Poison Ivy,
Like Kep said, everyone kind of jumped to that one
because of you know, her being black widow with the
red hair could work. I mean, I think the more
known Poison Ivy adaptation right now might be from the
Harley Quinn show, So I guess that's another Kayley Quoco

(32:33):
is also another Harley Quinn, just of I think the
actress who plays her, I forget her name, kind of
sounds like Scarlett Johansson to a degree. Actually it is
because she voiced for Scarlett Johansson in What If makes sense?
Full Circle makes sense? And another one I've seen. This
one is a stretch, but I feel like Matt Reeves

(32:55):
could pull it off. Andrea Beaumont mask of the Fantastic.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
That would be cool. That will be cool, And that
kind of leans back to like I said to Court
of Alas, maybe could have had your assassin to deal
with the batman, and that's the assassin they chose was
the Phantasm played by scholar Johanson, and she's physical enough
to do it. I mean, even though the movie wasn't great,
she still was pretty action heavy in Jurassic World. She
can still do that that kind of stuff.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
I do think obviously, if you haven't seen Mass Phantasm,
we watched it and just to watch it because I've
never seen it. Uh. I think it's kind of forgotten
the time. Nowadays it is like, oh, yeah, it is
a Batman movie. So I think we ranked it when
we did the Batman rankings. But I think it, you
know knows people think the animated series over that movie,
even though it was kind of like the finale to

(33:44):
the show, to at least that version of the show
to a degree. But I think you're Vicky Vail Thing
or Court of Alas Thing might be the best, might
be the go to options. I think they go with.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
I've seen some people in his comments say, Barbara Gordon,
I don't know, we're not ready for the Battle of
the Back a movie. I don't think.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
We'll see that old. I don't want an old bat girl,
you know, I want to Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
We need I mean, there are plenty of young actresses
that could be it be a Barbara Gordon to Commissioner
Gordon and to back go to Batman. So there's plenty
of that, and that'd probably be more about ah, a
DC universe thing, not the Batman.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Yeah, I think the Batman's probably not going to get
to a Robin. If anything, it's like, oh, look at this,
and we're going in the circus to see the flying
Graysons and that's it.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
They all died. Sorry, this is Batman.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Remember Andy Circus is not happy. Andy Serkus is Alfred
in this universe, so let that be the limits for you.
Got hum is Alfred, Gotham is Alfred. Yes, that's the
way he's away, but still pretty cool. I just tell
me who the main villain is, then we can fill
in the fill in the blanks from there pretty much.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Yeah, I'm really hoping for a Quart of Als thing
because I feel like the Matt Read universe. He said
that it was just right for that kind of storytelling.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
Also, remember the Coffin Knights. The video game was Court
of owls Now a lot of people play it. Well,
we did, and it was okay, so they could do better.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
I think I was gonna buy it. He was like, Nah,
you're good, he said, you're good, and buy him much.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Just play Arkamas Island in Arkham City again. Maybe Arkham
Knight if you want on a good day man Kam
Knight was a time just avoid the man that Arkham Knight.
Graphics on the game still look great. Just the Batman
still looks good. But just the Batmobile is ship game.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
I am a staunch battle Bill defender. I still love
the scene. What are you doing? Call him for backup?
You hit that one and I think I was playing.
Oh man, it was great.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
It was a game. Okay, final play it again, Kevin.
Let's get on in there. We gotta talk about what's
happening next week December eleventh at night time. We'll probably
talk about it, actually me like the thirteenth or whatever.
But the game awards happened December eleven were e staited.
Sorry old tradition of watching to see who is the

(36:02):
biggest video game. You probably already know which one is
gonna win, but still it's fine to speculate it all.
Uh So we're gonna go through some of the nominees.
Uh quickly go through the sports ones because we're not
well versed in that. And at the end of it,
we're gonna see, We're gonna predict each We'll get to
each what game announcement we want at the show this year.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
That'd be fun. A lot of game not as we need,
I mean, release dates will be the big one.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
States in general. That would be great, you know. So
let's start with best e Sports Team, Kevin, you got
which recognized a specific esports team. It's the it's the
nominee page is weird this year. You gotta go all
the way. Then it's stupid. I'm control everything, But yeah,
I got Youah. It's recognizing a specific esports team that

(36:50):
had the most outstanding performance in conduct in twenty twenty five.
You got gen G jen G for Legal Legends, NRG
for Valoriant team Falcons for Dota to team with pH
for Mobile Legends, Bang Bang, which is a game team
Fatality counter Strike two. Kevin, you know any of them?
Slash you pay?

Speaker 2 (37:10):
I don't. I don't, But for some reason on my
Twitter like ad posts, I got a lot of NRG content.
I don't know why. I don't know what Twitter thinks
that because I do these things, I would like this
thing that I don't know. Esports gaming like I used
to watch it when I had cable when it was
to come on. I just don't know why I think
I would like this particular team, So I'll go Energy

(37:31):
for Valerie. I don't know why, but I keep saying
them on my Twitter.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
I'll go Energy too, because I don't know any of this.
Uh SO, Best Best Esports Athletes. These are ones that
were very quickly go through. UH Esports judge to be
the most outstanding for performance and conduct. I got Brock
for Valerie. You got Chovy for League Legends, Forsaken and Valoriant,
Kakaroo for street Fighter, and Maynard for Street Fighter. I'll

(37:55):
go Cakarow. That's a fun name. We'll go with that one.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
I'll go with for sinking. I like how you spells
it f zero, sake and capital in. That's kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
Yeah. Uh Mike and the chat, which is why we're
quickly going through these ones. I don't vote for Esports
Content Creator, Esport Player because I don't know or like
any of them. We're quickly going through them. Don't worry.
Best Mike Fist Cloud Can you use the Kevin Fist
the cloud emoji? Please? Best Esport Game counter Strike two

(38:26):
Dota to lull Mobile Legends Bang bang in Valorant, I'll
just call legal legends. I think these kind of it
was just like, all right, which one monts it this year?
It's more than anything.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
There is a time where I was a baby counter
strike player back in my old PC gaming days. But
Legal Legends is I mean, I like it. It's kind
of cool.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
I'm not going to play it there, but it's cool
to watch.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
All right. We'll skip through that one. We will go
to Content Creator of the Year. Uh. This is for
streamer content creator who's made an impact act and positive
Uh is important in the community. Yeah, k Drel, kay
San Knott, Moist Critical, Soccer, Amiko and the Burnt Peanut. Yes,
a Peanut nominated for it. I Moist Critical obviously voiced

(39:13):
Sonar the Bat in Dispatch and obviously he's kind of
been big for gaming. I think Kaysa Nott wins it though,
because I think they want Kaysa not there at the
game wards and.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
Also Kaysa not he they got a branch out, he
didn't just have like you know, streamer content. He'll have
movie stars on, we have wrestlers on. He'll wrestling events.
Anybody that includes wrestling in their world. I'm I'm a
big fan of so I'll do well.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
I think, you know, I think it's Batman Street. I
don't know if that was this year that popped up
my I didn't watch any Kaysan not thing, but that
popped up. Obviously, Kevin Hart and Lebron James popping up,
but he played elder Ring this year too. I think
it gets eyes on him. So if that's the way
they're going, that would be the choice to pick most
anticipated game for twenty or not? In general? Just in general,

(40:03):
you've got Double O seven, First Light, grand paft Auto six,
Marvel's Wolverine, Resident, Evil Requiem or The Witch or for Kevin,
which one would you pick for most anticipated game? As
your prediction, it's obviously going to Final six.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
But if I if I didn't tell you that I'm
really excited for which before, I'll be lying because I'm
really excited.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Yeah. I think it is interesting because four of these
games are hopefully coming out next year. Which or four?
I don't know when the hell that's coming out.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
So yeah, true. Total seven actually had a good trailer
as well. I know we were getting that.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
I think Marvel's Wolverine is funny, just of how twenty
twenty six is showing showing up like that was a game,
Like that's gonna be the you know what's gonna be good,
you know, and like it's some people aren't as hyph,
we're gonna Grandpa thought of six and all that stuff.
So I'll go with Wolverine just to be different.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
It's cool, that's cool.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
Let's go next one best adaptation, This one will be interesting,
which is recognizing outstanding creative work that faithfully and authentically
adapts a video game to another entertainment medium. Obviously, how
these voting work is there's I think if there's a
percentage that is through the actual social voting, and the
rest is like critically obviously, like your pundits, your IGN's,
your kind of funnies get votes to vote in. This

(41:18):
is between a Minecraft movie, Devil May Cry, Splinter Cell,
Death Watch, The Last of Us two season Last of
Us Season two, and Until Dawn. If social voting one,
Minecraft would win, But Kevin because not which one are
you picking?

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Yeah? I think I will pick Last of Us because
they didn't cheap out on that Joel Death Spoiltwerk.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
They did not, and then the rest of the season. Well,
it's how the video game goes. It can't be really
mad at the adaptation. I'll go with Devil May Cry.
I didn't watch it, but it showed up enough for
my TikTok feed to know it had an impact and
if anything, it brought back classic nineties and two thousands
songs back into the uh sort of cognizant of culture,

(42:04):
which is cool.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
I do. I do have Split a soull death Watch
on my on my listening, I don't want to.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
Day's how it all works. Next one best multiplayer? You
got Arc Raiders, Battlefield six, Eledan Ring, Night Rain, Peak,
and Split Fiction. I would Split Fiction is interesting because
it is a co op game. I get it as multiplayer,
but I feel like most people I've seen play that,

(42:31):
Oh it does include co So it does include co op.
Have played it on like a couch because you got
for free. If you get out with a frame, I'll
go just I feel like Arc Raiders is too new.
I'll probably go. I want to go Peak because I
saw that game and I'm like, that's just a fun time.
We're climbing mountains together as boy scouts.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
Yeah, it kind of tu me back to my scout days.
I agree with that. And then it's also usually we
hear multiplayer game, you automatically think, Okay, I have a
gun in my hand, I'm shooting something, and think was like, no,
a good time.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
Let's work can get up a mountain together, you know.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
Yeah, just be different because I'm getting to the point
where I'm kind of sick, not sick, I want to
say sick, but like games like Destiny and games that
that are more open world I'm cool with because it's
more just just just multiplayer death matches. But I'm kind
of over the multiplayer death match.

Speaker 1 (43:18):
Sorry, let's go our next one. Best sports racing game Nope,
no two K, no w W two K here, but
you do have EA Sports FC twenty six F one
twenty five, Sonic Racing Cross Worlds rematch, and Mario Kart World.
I'll give it to Sonic Racing Cross Worlds because I

(43:38):
feel like Mario Kart World came out and everyone dogged
on it, but everyone's kind of been like the people
who've been running for Sonic Racing, they dug Sonic Racing.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
I'm gonna be nerd into F one because it's kind
of fun.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
Hey, maybe this's be here.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
It's a it's a more serious racing game. They gotta
hitch your marks. You gotta make sure you gotta. There's
a lot more things going on than just going fast
and turning left. But I liked those.

Speaker 1 (44:01):
Three of these games involved turning left.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
So but yeah, I'll be one twenty five. It's not
gonna win, but I'll be one twenty five.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
Right, Best sim strategy you got Final Fantasy Tactics, you
got Jurassic World Evolution three, sid Meyer's Civilization seven, Tempest Rising,
and then The Altars and two Point Museum. This one
had a lot of categories. I had to scroll down
for this one.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
For this one, I'm gonna go in honor my sister.
She loves this game is Drassic World Evolution. My sister
Jurassic Park Slash World is her Star Wars. It's what
she lives and dies for. So, uh for her, I'm
gonna vote for de Rest of Wort Evolution three.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
Uh see, this is another one. If it was socially voted,
I think Jurassic World might win because critically it kind
of gets involved more. I'm gonna go with the Alters
which was a game where like you cloned yourself to
dig take on different personas, and if your clone died,
the next clone had all the experience of the previous clone,
which is kind of cool. That seems like a Kevin
game if anything, it does sound like it does us

(45:00):
Flash movie Best Family Game for the best game appropriate
for family play, irrespective of the genre or platform. You
got Donkey Kong, Bonanza, Lego Party, Lego Voyagers, Mario Kart World,
Sonic Racing, Cross Worlds, and Split Fiction Kevin as a
family man, Which game you think represents best family game

(45:20):
for us to.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Be Mario kartt World because that and also my Mario
Kart six. We kind of usually just passially a switch
around basically like I would go, then give the least
she would go and give them the least she would go.
That's kind of how we play it as a family
because she has to switch lights. We can't take to
take the joy cons off and do the whole TV thing.
So that's our that's our family games. I'll say Mario
Kart World.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
I'll probably go Donkey Kong. I did help someone who
has a child buy a Nintendo switch to the other
day and he was like, immediately this person said, I
gotta buy Donkey Kong for my kid. So Donkey Kong
Bonanza was for my kid or my kidkay? Sure. The

(46:01):
best fighting game you got two x KO, which is
the Legal Legends inspired fighting game, which yes, it did
come out of this correct Capcom Fighting collection two Fail
Fury City of Wolves, Mortal Kombat Legacy Edition, and Virtual
Fighter five Revo World Stage. I will give it to
two k XO because I feel like the rest of

(46:22):
them are just collections of other games, so.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
I will, but it's more of a process. How do
you not have techn a on this Teken gets such
a cold shoulder for the rest of the fighting game?

Speaker 1 (46:33):
War Techon eight came out last year, Kevin, So that's why.

Speaker 2 (46:36):
Oh okay, that's all right now that makes sense. Okay,
I'm okay. Now it was pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Yeah, this isn't our expertise, but uh, I'm going to
the Legal Legends one because I liked Arcanes, So there
you go.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
It's the character Arcane is cool, So two ks.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
There you go. Uh, best RPG, best game Divide with
rich player character, customization, progression and other stuff. You got
a vowed Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three, Kingdom Come Deliverance
to Monster Hunter Wilds in the Outer Worlds too. I'm
gonna go. And this is where I think the game
awards historically everyone kind of gets something. I'm gonna go

(47:14):
if Kingdom Come Deliverance too for this one, because I
think Clare Obscure is gonna win a bunch of other ones.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
That's gonna ask you a way to put it. By
the way, I thought, RPG with role playing game isn't
isn't that role playing game?

Speaker 1 (47:27):
It is role playing game?

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Something else.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
Oh, this is just a description for the award I
just read.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
I was like, wait, all my whole life I was
role playing game, but did I know this was? I
was very simple. I'm with you. I think it's it
might be I already like I didn't play the Wild
but I really like the whole months one hundred franchise
actually a lot of fun. Yeah, different, while.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
It's it's a whole meta of like, well, do they
do it this year and follow the pattern if everyone
gets one, or does the one game sweep everything? So
Claire Obscurity is the game that could sweep everything this year,
or they could do the meta, I think, but it's
all a game. It's all fun. It's all fun and
fun and hard. Best Action Adventure game for the best
action adventure game combining combat with traversal and puzzle solving,

(48:11):
death stranding two on the Beach, Ghosts of Jota, Hollow Night,
Silk Song, Indiana Jones in The Great Circle and Split Fiction.
I would probably go Hollow Night because I feel like
that makes sense for me.

Speaker 2 (48:27):
I don't know. I haven't played Ghost of Yota yet,
but playing Ghost Shushima, I kind of know what that is.
I wouldn't I wouldn't really put that above Hollow Night though,
m because I'm hollow. Hollow Night was like a moment
in time when it came out. It was like, Wow,
people are really loving this game, and it finally came
out for like what three years.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
Yeah, here's the thing, Indiana Jones. I played. I liked it,
but I feel like I kind of got lost and
forgotten the time just because that was released and there's
a lot of other game that came out that same
year it came out.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
So I'm still mad that they chose to put to
do what they went with. I'm like, I don't want
to be a first person.

Speaker 1 (49:08):
I don't want to see the hat the whole time.
Damn it exactly.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
But it's okay to each the games down on the damn.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
Play on Chargio if you want third person. Best action game, Kevin,
This is for the best game in the action genre.
Focuses primarily on combat Battlefield six, doing the Dark Ages,
Hades two, Ninja guid In four, and Shanobi Art of Vengeance, Kevin,
Who you got?

Speaker 2 (49:32):
I like Ninja Guiden. Actually I'm not sure it's gonna
win or not, but I thought, actually it was kind
of fun, and it also was kind of nostalgia. I
played nine game back in the day.

Speaker 1 (49:39):
So you're gonna go to Ninja Guiden, all right, I'll
go with Hades two for this. I'd never played Hades,
any Hades game, but I have a coworker who is
obsessed with the Hades games and that's all he comes
to talk to me about at work. So for him,
I'm going to Haightes Twoes. God, just tell me about it,
about it. I'm not playing it, so sorry. Best vr

(50:02):
AR game. This is a quick one Alien Rogue Incursion
arc and Age ghost Town Marble's Deadpool VR in the
Midnight Walk. I'll just go Dead Bull No, no, I
have it.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
So gameplay, I also have Alien won it. It was
pretty intense. I'll go with Alien ro Incursion.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
All right, good pick good pick. The VR one is
kind of like also like, what give me game? Do
you want to pick? Essentially?

Speaker 2 (50:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (50:24):
Uh, for best mobile game playable on mobile device, you
got Destiny Rising Nintendo, Mike, I assume you voted for that.
Persona five the Phantom x Sonic Rumble mom A Mootsumi
pretty dirty and withering height Waves. Kevin, what do you got?

Speaker 2 (50:45):
I'm gonna I'm gonna go for with percent of five.
I think that's one of the only games I've drafted
this year on my fantasy have actually got points.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
Yeah, I'll go with Sonic Rumble. Just give Sonic something.
I really think the best mobile game should be an
ongoing one too, just because I feel like mobile games
kind of EBB and flow. Pokemon TCG Pocket for me
and that actually won. I think at the Golden joyt
won something recently, so and it is what is uh
in most of these games and the didn't hit us.

Speaker 2 (51:14):
At least My best mobile game would have been a
Pokemon Crystal because I have to Emily on my phone.

Speaker 1 (51:20):
Okay, well, all right, Best Debut Indie Game for the
best debut game by a new independent studio. You got Blueprints,
the puzzle game Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three desk below
Tay and our favorite Dispatch. Dispatch also is in the
running for Players Choice and made in the top ten.
So vote for it, by the way, in doing so,

(51:42):
because it's the only one that's nominated for I'm going Dispatch.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
I mean, come on, we can talk about this game
at least at least in some way of favorite way
of fashion in the last month it's Dispatched. I love
Dispatch is you be smile and I'm talking about it.
That's how much I love that game.

Speaker 1 (51:59):
So hey, claarib Screry can win everything else. You already
not because the next one's best Independent Game, clariub Skir
can win that one. It doesn't even to win both
of them.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
Okay, Claire, you'll get your award, just be paid best
Independent Game.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
So this is for outstanding creative and technical achievement and games.
So you think Haities two because it can allow sequels
and Hollow Nights. Silk Song, which is an interesting battle
because you've got absolum Ball x Pit Blueprints, Clare Obscure
Expedition thirty three, Hades two, and Hollow Night. I'll call
clarub Scare for this one. They can have. This is
like a Battle of the Three Titans, right, they're really

(52:34):
a Blueprints and the other ones.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
Yeah, I feel sorry for those first three because I'm like, man, yeah,
she don't have a shot, because it's just gonna be
Claire Haites on Hollow Night. It's probably gonna be Claire.
So yeah, I'm gonna joint the Claire Obscure Expedition thirty.

Speaker 1 (52:47):
Three Best Community Support for outstanding community support, transparency and
responsive iss of social media activity and game updates. You
got Balder's Gate three, Final Fantasy fourteen, Hell Divers Too,
and No Man's Sky. I'll go Hell Divers too for
this one. I think Balder's all these games are doing

(53:08):
a great job because I've seen them on social media posts.
Obviously Fortnite, Hell Divers too, just because I think the
movie's happening and I think they've been doing great of
here's in game events that everyone come back. We've got
to do these big game events together like a Fortnite,
So I'm gonna go with hell Divers.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
I want to do Fortnite because good, look, who do
you want to play?

Speaker 1 (53:27):
Ass?

Speaker 2 (53:27):
They're probably in the game.

Speaker 1 (53:28):
Had an endgame moment in the last crossover, which was
literally last week. So and not only that.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
There was a time when they introdus the Power Rangers
on there a couple of months ago where people were
literally just teaming up as Power Ranges and fighting everybody
else that wanted to dance with them. It was like, no,
we're Power Rangers, you can't dance with them. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (53:44):
Though.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
It was the greatest thing in the world, So yeah,
I'm gonna go for it.

Speaker 1 (53:46):
This is side note. I did ask for Balder's Gate
three for Christmas because I am excited. I want I'm
trying to get this D and D stuff. I want
to make Hoodrow the hood Drow the Dwarf. I think
that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
I don't know what my race would be if I
was in D and D, but I am interested. I
think maybe ask gets over. I may try.

Speaker 1 (54:07):
Friends, I got people, Hey, there's four of us here.
We could do a D and D other D and D.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
Like Zoom Zoom.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Probably have to be right, Yeah, alright, best ongoing game
you got Final Fantasy fourteen, Fortnite, Hell Divers, two, Marvel Rivals,
and No Man's Sky. I'll go Marvel Rivals because I
feel like that it's a gimme like it got one
and I feel like everyone I've seen that a lot

(54:36):
just goby because the Marvel. But I feel like it's
constantly adding characters this past year.

Speaker 2 (54:40):
Yeah, like a lot of my a lot of my
coworkers play Marvel Rivals every night, like it's like a thing.
I don't play because I'm like, all you guys are single,
you go home to your little one body apartment and
nothing else. I got rear kids. Yeah, I also Rivals too.
I wish I could play it, which had time too,
I just don't.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
Yeah, those over Watch days are over games for Impact.
You got Consumed Me, Despalote, Loss, Record, Bloom and Rage,
South of Midnight and wander Stop. I haven't playing any
so I can't really tell you. So I'm gonna stain
from this one. I don't know which one should win it,
so I'll pick whatever game this sitt't. The thumbnail bublick
and that's a really cool con Alligator Kevin's on a

(55:19):
different page time. But you know what South of Midnight
I think is the one he picks. Maybe I don't know,
but it's really cool. We'll also skip innovation and accessibility
because we didn't plan in those games. Best performance here
you go. We know this one awarded to an individual
for voice over, acting, motion, and or performance capture. You

(55:39):
got Ben Starr and Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three. Oh. Look,
in Claire up Scare Expedition thirty three, you got Charlie Cox. Oh.
Also Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three got Jennifer English. Then
in Ghost of Jota you got Rika Ishi, Silent Hill
f you got Kunatsu Kato, and in Indiana Joe in
the Great Circle, surely Baker himself. If Claire Obscure wasn't

(56:01):
nominated in this, I think Troy Baker should win it
because you thought Harris, I thought Harrison Ford was in
the damn game. But because he's not, I think one
of the claib Secure actors is gonna win.

Speaker 2 (56:13):
Yeah, days gonna be Troni Cox because.

Speaker 1 (56:16):
They want him on stage.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
Yeah problem, yeah, they want him on stage. And also
I read an article about him giving a lot of
props to the camp artists as well. I thought that
was kind of cool because he really bought off the
soul to car. I think it was a cool move, a.

Speaker 1 (56:27):
Cool category that should be added. His best cast for
a game, not just one. I think have best performance
still too. It's t best cast because I feel like,
like ever since Red Dead two, there's the stellar casts
for games like God of War Ragnarok, and the first
one should make it. You could have put Spider Man
in there once upon a time. I think that should
work too. One day.

Speaker 2 (56:47):
They also, of course, I'm gonna say this mass effect.
I mean your team.

Speaker 1 (56:51):
Dev Shranding too had a stellar cast as well, so
like even like Last of Us. So that is Star Wars,
all the Star Wars get all right? Anyway, moving on
best audio design, you got Battlefield six, Claire Up, Secure, Death,
Stranding two, Ghosts of Jota, Silent Hill f I'll give
it the Claire upscure.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
Sure they go clean up a lot of these. It's
gonna be kind of like Lord of the Rings back
in the day, the oscars and what it is.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
Best score in music, Uh, you got Hollow Night, Silk Song,
Haities two, claireub Scure, Ghost of Jota, Death Stranding on
the Beach. Uh. This is for outstanding music inclusive score,
original song, and or licensed soundtrack. I'll go with Death
Stranding for this one because I feel like it was Judeo.
Kajima picks bangers for his games.

Speaker 2 (57:44):
I agree with you. I'm surprised though, that Anian and
Jones in is that in this because I'm assuming they
played Jones.

Speaker 1 (57:50):
Yeah, but it's like, all right, hey, can't keep given
John Williams and John Williams inspired music, No more.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
Wars like I mean, he's a Michael Jordan a movie score.

Speaker 1 (57:59):
Okay, Uh, next one, best art direction, you got Clarubscure again,
Death Training too goes to Jote Eighties two and Hollow Night.
I'll give this one the Claire Obscure.

Speaker 2 (58:13):
Ghosts actually because she's seen it was a beautiful game
and ghosts like it took it, took that and plused it. Basically,
it's that gonna win. Probably won't win, but I thought
it's because I love I love the way that game looks.
You feel like you're in a Samurai movie. There go,
there you go?

Speaker 1 (58:27):
H Next one up, Best narrative. Oh look, Familiar, Obscure,
Death Training too goes to Yote Kingdom, Come Deliverance, uh
and Silent hell f We'll go clar Obscure. I think
this is where That is why I said the gimme awards.
These are the sweep awards. Now I'll be different.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
I'm Death Training because even though I don't understand what
that game is about, people seem to love it for
the narrative. Even though you're like a postman with a baby.

Speaker 1 (58:52):
And you're confused. I'm confused the whole time, but it
uh and now you know I'll get tired after a while.
The same damn director of the game keeps going up.
But speaking of direct director, best game direction, Yeah, Claire Obscure,
Death Stranding to Ghost of Jote Haities two and Split Fiction.
Now this I would I would give to Split Fiction

(59:14):
because I really do feel like I love all the games.
Split Fiction is really pushing for co op gaming where
we're in the lind up, you're playing by yourself or
you gotta have online play with people online, get your
ass handed to you.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
I'm gonna go with Claribscure because I mean that game
took the world by storm, came like it really did.
And I can't remember the name of the guy. I can't.
I can't pronounce their first name, but this Brochu is
the last name. He did a great job and he
actually he actually came from UBI self, which is amazing.

(59:51):
Maybe that's why they have been doing some good lately.
Of the main one of the main people left. But
I'm gonna go clear again because, like I guess, I
haven't played a game myself, but watching my nephew play,
I'm just like this. This is this is definitely a thing.
Twenty one year old Kevin would have been.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Needy been uh. And then our big one game of
the year before we do our big what we think
will get announced, you have once again, Claire Obscure Expedition
thirty three, Death Straining two, Donkey Kong, Bonanza, Haites two,
Hollow Night, Silk Song and Kingdom Come Deliverance too. I
think everyone's gotten an award. We evennounced. We read our

(01:00:28):
predictions so far, so Kevin picked a big one. I
think I know which one you're picking.

Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
I gotta pick this one, so Nintendo Micha will send
me viruses on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
So kill us Claire Destiny too. That's my game of
the Year. No, I think Claire Obscure as well as
much as I've heard people talk about it, including a
tend of Mike. I think there's there's type of video
games where you love it and vote for it because

(01:00:59):
you played it, and and you love it and vote
for it because of what it does and the hype
even though if you can't play it, or you can
for some reason, you just can't crack your brain around
playing it. I think clariub Scares that game. And here's
the thing, the boy's asking for bowlers Gate three for Christmas.
That game came out two years ago. So if that's
the track record, I'm going on, I'll play c Scare
next year. Maybe maybe.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
I mean I might dive in smoke gameplay videos up tonight,
maybe on TikTok and in my in my free time
after the kids have gone to sleep. It definitely took
a hold of the audience because that game came out.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Was it late last year which one claib.

Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
I can't remember what an actual release date was.

Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
I think it was like January.

Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
Yeah, yeah, Because I just remember my nephew and some
of the other younger kids in my church just all
they talked about for like three months, was Claire.

Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
So pro tip, let this also be the guiding point
if you're looking forget games for your loved ones or
for yourself, because you get a gift card, Game of
the Year is probably in the category you want to
start with.

Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
Yeah, tell me, look at what is this? Like? I
don't know. One hundred and thirty bucks right here?

Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
You know, Hollow Night in Haiti's two a little cheaper,
so you know it's okay, Yeah, it's okay. But all right,
So those are the awards. Now here comes the fun part,
the announcements. Kevin, We love it because we never know
what's going to get announced, and even though we say
we want one thing to happen, it won't at all.
What do you think you will do one each and
go back and forth doing two total. What's one game

(01:02:33):
announcement you want to see at the Game Awards this year?

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
So my announcement, I think we'll be inside of a
new trailer. Okay, I think we'll get another trailer for Wolverine. Well,
they revealed that one of the boss battles will be
against the Hulk.

Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
Yeah, we are due for a spring preview. I believe
if I remember from when the first trailer came out,
so this would make sense to hold us over until
whenever spring is according to Insomniac. So I think you're
right on that one.

Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
I think they kind of have to now because before
they had twenty twenty six all to themselves, because we
thought that this year, when we get grounded out of six,
the case no more is now. I feel like even
though the people that are going to play Wolverin on
playing You Take six as well, you still kind of
want to make sure, Hey, don't forget about us. I'm
not gonna get you taste there too. We're here to
please remember us to come and buy a game.

Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
I'm gonna go Star Wars, Jedi blank whatever it is,
Hero what everyone Jedi three? It is worrying EA is
getting purchased companies. I really just wanted Jedi game to
get his trilogy and be done so it's protected. I
think Calcasts is great. I think, I mean, hey, that

(01:03:43):
Calcasts is so great people want him in real life,
which in real Cannon of the movies and everything, not
just the video games. Plus, it be pretty great to
have a Star Wars game come out right around when
the Mandalorian Grogo movie come out.

Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
It also will be interesting because in that deal with
they're going to be by the sides or whatever. They're
going private again, which.

Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
Is as well. But hey, get your game out, please
please let me play it, Kevin. Your second announcement in
a trailer or it could be a price, or it
could be a thing happening. What is your second thing
you hope happens.

Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
We'll get the PlayStation slim Slim not just joking.

Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
Super version partitions.

Speaker 2 (01:04:28):
This is more of a thing that I want personally.
I think we'll finally get announcement on what is the
next step in the God of War series as well,
whether it's going to be a mile of a Rales
style Treys sash Loki game or it's literally okay now
now Creative is going to go through the pantheon the
Egyptian gods with the river for so long, we'll get
the next step of the God of War franchise and

(01:04:51):
where they're going. That's why I'm predicting it. I'm wrong
or not, but that's what I'm hoping for.

Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
Uh and my second one, I think and hope the
steam hold on, hold on, make sure I get the
right name. Steam box is a Steam machine there, you
don't want to get the name right. We call it
the Steambox, but it's a Steam machine technically gets a
price point. But with this price point comes the announcement
Half Life three comes out launch date with the Steam

(01:05:20):
Machine or or a Portal three one of those.

Speaker 2 (01:05:24):
Portal three is like Portal three is like on at
this point, it's like waiting for the second Coming of Jesus.

Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Like it's always half Life here's and when we had
Half Life Alex, which is technically three whatever you want
to call it. I think if you're going to launch
that console potentially next year, I don't know, Steam kind
of Valve kind of do whatever the hell they want.
I think you gotta have a banger game with it,
and I think one of those two is the banger game.
Like crap, we gotta get it because it will have

(01:05:53):
like a month exclusivity. You can only play it on
the Steam Machine.

Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
What some people say make calls around seven hundred dollars.
Do you think that is a good price point. It
should be a little bit cheaper.

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
I think six hundred sounds better. You know, Uh, Newtonal
MIXA is No, it's not half like three. But I
feel like, if look at how every console launches, if
Valve is getting in on it, and Steam whatever, Steam,
Valve whatever is getting on it, you want to have
a banger game. The Switch had breadth of the wild,

(01:06:28):
the Xbox not so much. Recently, PlayStation had Places five
had miles morales. I think what's kind of the main one,
and the ratchet and clank kind of came quickly after.
I think it become out great. I think obviously you
have all your whole Steam library, if you've gotten free games,
apparently you might be able to put Epic Games and
Microsoft on there too. I don't know, that's all rumor
if I think you need more information at the slatest

(01:06:51):
just to say, all right, cool, we got another contender
in here for you to buy with your money or
to vote with your money and helpfully to have Xbox
and PlayStations app it up.

Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
Yeah, because I think too. Even though a price point
of six hundred and fifty one hundred dollars is a
lot in hindsight, you think about it's only like one
hundred dollars more than the PS five, but also that
you're getting a box that can play literally anything or everything,
because it's not pulling from just a a certain studios software,

(01:07:22):
so you can you can get you can get this
device and literally maybe play a Xbox exclusive in the
PS five exclusive and also PC games. I think that
while its expensive, you gotta look at what you're paying for,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
It does a lot, but hey, those are SORR announcements,
so you can have your voice be heard. You got
a week to make your predictions at inf and oundscript
pods on the Instagram or else, don't give it to you,
but literally, hey, anything could happen on the Game Awards,
because let's face it, we don't have any three anymore,
so anything could be announced. Really, let's face.

Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
